Problem in migration of Country version

Hi Experts,
i m facing one problem regarding SAP Country India version(CIN) of ECC 6.0.
this CIN is available on default (000)client, but when i used to our another client i.e. development & quality, i m not able to find it.
Plz help me for that.
ur answer is really appreciated.

Hi
By CIN is there on the client 000 then you need to transport the customizing to the other clients.
This will surely solve your problem.
Solution
Please follow the steps mentioned below.
For copying customizing entries from Client 000 to the target client
In the target client execute the report program RSAVGL00
1. To copy all the condition types use tables T685, T685T & T685A
For the entries to be copied please refer page 146 (Appendix D) & 147
(Appendix E) of user manual, apart from the entries mentioned there,
the following condition types have to be copied :
JEXC, JOCM
2. To copy the tax procedure TAXINJ use tables T683 & T683U & T683S
3. To copy the pricing procedures JFACT, JDEPOT, JEXPORT, JSTKTR
use tables T683 & T683U
4. create tax codes for the various tax rates
5. To copy the accounting keys VS1, VS2, VS3, VS5, NAV use table T007B
6. To copy the Tax Jurisdiction codes IN00, IN01, IN02, 9900, 9999 use
tables TTXJ & TTXJT
7. To copy the Billing type JEX use tables TVFK & TVFKT
8. To copy the Delivery type JF use tables TVLK & TVLKT
Link the Tax procedure TAXINJ to the Country IN
Link the Tax jurisdiction code to the Tax procedure TAXINJ
Set the Pricing procedure determination for Sales and Calculation schema
for Purchasing
Set the Copy control putting in the data transfer and Copy requirements
formulae as per Appendix F.
You can refer Note - 104387 for more details.

  • Performnace problem in migrating form SOlaris2.5.1 to Solaris8

have a working system in production for the last six years. It was done on Solaris 2.5.1 using C++ version 4.2. Now i am migrating it to Solaris 8 using C++ 5.4. I use class library from Recursionsw called ObjectSPace.
My code requires lots of message passing (objects) between processes. This is done by binray streams over sockets. All my code is multi threaded (POSIX) and uses semaphores.
The time taken to pass approx. 150 messages in the earlier version was 2 seconds (say) on an Ultra 2 but now the same piece of code (without any logical changes) takes over 30 seconds on an E10k.
With prstat i notice that the sys time value is high and SCL is high. The thtread which is reading messages is taking lot of cpu time. The LCK value is very low.
Has anyone got any idea or faced similar problem in migrating.
    Any help is welcome.
    Thanks
    Manoj

We are using a class library called Objectspace from Recursionsw. We did a small test program. This program has an object with about 20 fields (total of around 200 bytes). All we do is write this object (binary stream over socket) from one process and read it from the other process. For banchmarking we write and read this object 200 times.
    The results are as follows:
    Solaris 2.5.1 - Around 13 seconds
    Solaris 7 - Around 60 seconds
    Solaris 8 - Around 120 secinds
    Solaris 9 - 1-2 seconds
On Soalris 8 i have tried with both std iostream and classic iostream. There is no difference.
This is without any change in the source code. Can anyone give any clues as to what is going wrong.
    Regards,
    Manoj

  • Saving user Interactive Reports in Production, when migrating a new version

    Hi All,
Interactive Reports allow individual users from creating their own custom reports.
If I were to migrate a modification to the Application, will these overwrite the user's Reports?
If it does, is there any way to save the user reports in Production, while we migrate an updated version of the application?
    Thanks.
    Kevin

    Hi,
This is a very commonly brought up issue. If you keep the same application ID from development to production and don't export the interactive reports from development then they will not be overwritten.
The original metadata will be used. There is an excellent blog post from Joel Kallman of Oracle on this topic which gives much more detail: http://joelkallman.blogspot.co.uk/2010/07/where-did-my-saved-interactive-reports.html
I used the methods discussed in the post when I needed to solve this problem.
    Thanks

    Hi.
Sorry...I think you didn't understand my problem.
I have Poland as a country. I don't have Poland in transaction O035 as template to create a company:
    - VAT
    - Accounting
    - etc...
That transaction allows you to create a company with the default norms of a country.

  • SKB1 table is not populated  - Bulgaria country version

    Hi,
Our team is working on installation country version for Bulgaria.
We have ECC 6.0 and SAPK-11023INCCEE ECC Core Country versions for EEM Country (Romania country localization).
We followed the instructions of SAP note 856949 "Enhancements for mySAP R/3 46C and
higher for Bulgaria" and we face the following problem:
Table SKB1 for BG01 company code is not populated, but we have data in SKA1, SKAT tables (charts of accounts CABG).
Although we imported CT_BG_160108.zip , CT_SKB1_table_content.zip , still SKB1 table does not contain data for BG01 - company code.
Please help us to solve this problem.
Moderator: I'd suggest to open OSS message on this problem, if you are sure that you maintain the data for company code

    Hello,
    Here are a few hints:
    - In the operator, check the steps of your interface. Are rows inserted in I$ tables ?
    - If you use Flow Control, does your E$ tables contains something ?
    - Check the SQL code generated in the integration step, extract the Select from it and execute it using sqlplus, SQLDeveloper or whatever you want. Does it return something ? Maybe there is a wrong filter...
If you don't find the error, tell us which IKM you use and give us the generated code of the step which returns no data.
    Hope it helps

  • Missing Standard country version (and template)

    Hi,
In our system I am about to create a company code for Mexico but before doing so I checked what local customising for Mexico was available in configuration as standard. Unfortunately for whatever reason, the country version settings for Mexico and most of the other countries with standard versions are not in our SAP system.
I have checked client 000 and can see them there but what I am not clear about are the options to get all the configuration associated with the Mexico country version into our development system i.e. whether there is automated tools for this or has to be a manual process given that I am dealing with a standard country version which should already be in our system but isn't.
Before my time we were on version 31i and then migrated to ECC6.0 so perhaps these standard country versions were left out at this point and 31i is no longer available for me to check this, not that it would help anyway with what to do now.
I have seen plenty of SAP notes on this topic, 641257, 63805, 63631, 65934, 162594, 91096, 81892, 48047, 602901, 73606 & 150629 being some of these so please don't refer me to any of these SAP notes or any others that don't specifically deal with what options are available when a standard country version is missing from a SAP system and is required as a reference when implementing in that country.
Are there any defined steps/process that needs to be followed for a situation like this where the required standard country version is not available in our SAP system.
I: will post this message again at a higher level in this forum as I see a lot of views on other threads but very few replies so not sure if I will get the answer from within this Globalisation services but it would appear to have been the correct area to post a thread on this topic.
    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

    Hi Nils,
I have set logon language both in R/3 suo1 and portal personalization tab in EHP5 ESS 1.50 and MSS 1.51.
But I am seeing portal page with combination of English and country specific language in EHP5.
Please do the needful, Have I can change fully.
    With Regards

  • Problems with migration to FB 4.5

I had been working with FB4 premium and just purchased FB4.5 premium with Flash cs5.5.
I am having a BIG problem importing my old projects from FB4.  AKA: "VerifyError: Error #1053: Illegal override of createGeometry in flashx.textLayout.elements.FlowGroupElement".
Please a answer to this would be great, I have read already 3 different post describing the same problem without appropiate answer. The best i got was a confirmation that the problem relies on the TLF and a referral to the TLF forums which have NO answer to this.
the debugger doesn't even take me to a line to help me figure out how to solve this.
I have already read that the problem lies in the new version of TLF (2.0) None the less I find NOWHERE a way to solve this out.
I've tried downgrading the SDK to 4.1 and or changing the reference of the textLayout.swc to the older and/or newer version and none of this helps.
Dismissing the error, will runs the project but not even the Debugger will show up and the text will be buggi as the visulas overall.
    Thank you

    Hi,
I ran into similar problems as gv4.me opening a Flash CS5.0 document with Flash CS5.5. It seems to me that the TLF-Text Enginge inside the IDE 5.5 work completly different.
First thing what happened when I opened the old CS5.0 and try to comile was
ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable TCMText is not defined.
ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable TLFTextField is not defined.
    Thx to kglad's tip
if you do need tlf text, select the merge into code for runtime shared libraries.
    descriped at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/863163#863163
this Reference Error disappeared after setting "merge into code" for the textLayout.swc in the advaned actionscript settings panel.
Now I have another Problem regarding TCMText and TLF-Text.
To keep it simple let's assume we have serveral TLF-Text instances on the stage created with the TextTool (Hotkey T) inside the Flash CS5.0 IDE.
We want to animate only these TLF instances regardless what else might be available on the stage.
As the fla was created by our designer, we don't know exactly how many instances have been placed on the stage. So we write us some code to check
wether the currentDisplayObject on stage is a TLFTextField.
    public function get aBuchstaben():Array
                var aTLFLetters:Array = new Array();
                var currentDisplayObj:*;
                for (var i:uint = 0; i<this.numChildren; i++)
                    currentDisplayObj = getChildAt(i);
                    if(currentDisplayObj is TLFTextField)
                        aTLFLetters.push(currentDisplayObj);
                return aTLFLetters;
This code works perfectly with CS5.0 and when we trace the generated array it gives us all the TLFTextFields we want to animate.
Now, let's open the same fla in CS5.5 and try our code again.
Nothing will get traced! Our generated array is empty. It could not find any TLFTextField on stage...very strage don't you think?
Well, let's debugg and see what's going on. Our TLF-instances on stage are no longer instances from the TLFTextField class. Instead we can see that all instances are now instances from a strage class called fl.text.TCMText.
First I thought that this might not be a big problem and I could easely change the code to check for TCMText instead for TLFTextField, but I was wrong. The TCMText class can't be imported nor is it possible find some more informations about this TCMText class.
    The official adobe help
    http://help.adobe.com/de_DE/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/fl/text/TLFTextField.ht ml
lists only the TLFTextField unter the fl.text package. It's not even listed on the beta help:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/beta/reference/actionscript/3/fl/text/package-de tail.html
Seems to be that there are more migration problems regarding TLF-Text between CS5.0 and CS5.5 which are nowhere documented.
After hours of searching I found this information:
TCM text for static TLF Flash Pro CS5.5 uses the Text Container Manager to handle TLF text that is not intended to change at runtime. The TCM avoids the need to include the full TLF ActionScript library in the published SWF file, significantly reducing file size.
    Source:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flash/cs/using/WS0CC7D962-6484-46f0-9596-BB27B21C4926a.html
Sounds good, but where can we find some more information abouth this Text Cotainer Manager and how to handle TLF text that's not changeable?
Wait what? TLF which is not to change at runtime?
Mhh, then let's try out our fla again and edit each TFL-Text and make it editable:
Debugg again and whoooa, there are now some real TLFTextFields inside the generated array. Isn't this strange^2 ??
Now everything seems to work, except that the TLFTextFields instances are now editable...compile the fla again and you can write stuff inside each
TLF-instance. Well it behaves as expected but it's not what we needed.
How can we change the instance again so that it keep being an instance of TLFTextField and is not editable at the same time?
I tried to set selectable to false
    TLFTextField(currentDisplayObj).selectable = false;
and a lot other stuff but's nothing is working.
I ended up beeing nearly as frustrated as JVLL.
Hope anybody helps what I found out so far.
Please adobe developers spread some more information about this new TLF-Text and its new Text Container Manager classes...

  • Problems with Migration from 4.5 to 5.0.2

After the migration, some Studio gadgets are no longer working/displaying properly. For example, one of the gadget is used to have couple tabs to navigate. After the migration, no tabs are being displayed. I think the problem is with the javascript versioning, but doesn't know for sure how to verify this.
Another problem is with document directory. It gives a gateway error when trying to access a doc. Can someone help me with these issues?
    Thank you in advance!

  • Trans OA08 - India Country Version Available not checked

Fixed assets was implemented for associated India co codes last year.  Am now trying to add functionality for Depreciation Tax Act and noticed that the indicator for Country Version Available is not checked, and option is grayed out.  How is this customarily set?  Have copied other config as it is represented in client 000.   What could be missing if this indicator is not set?  We are on version 4.70.

    Mr.Mukthar,
My problem is I am not able to activate it. If you go through the Path : - Financial Accounting(new) - Asset Accounting - Organizational Structure - Maintain Country Specific Settings.
in which the Country Version for INDIA is not ticked marked, so where do I activate it. Is there any T.code/Path? Please guide

thanks in advance. expecting a solution at the earliest

    thanks,
    if so,
i have an humantask activity in the process. in revision 1.0 , i have some instances which are running. it is exposed as a service which other services consume.

  • HT1871 Hello i have one IPhone 4S and I use 3G net in my mobile sometime I have problem with temperature in my phone at the SIM card or battery how can I fix this problem. By update or version of 6.1.3

Hello i have one IPhone 4S and I use 3G net in my mobile sometime I have problem with temperature in my phone at the SIM card or battery how can I fix this problem. By update or version of 6.1.3

Could it be because the SIM card got damaged while I cut it to fit the IPhone?
Very likely. Hard to believe the carrier in Mexico doesn't have a micro-SIM card available.
Or somehow the Chinese carrier found out and locked it?
    No, which is not possible.
What can I do? Get a new SIM and see if it works again?
Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget.

    Hi,

For the countries that there is some Country-Specific Documentation,
it is updated at SAP Help Portal for our standard country versions:

  • Installation of Multiple Country versions in one single Instance

    Hi,
We are  evaluating the feasibility  of rolling out  CIN into an existing ECC6 environment, which has been already configured with country version Brazil.
Our plan is to roll the CIN on a different client .  However, we have few apprehensions of the implications of the same. Can some one please share their inputs in this regard?
    Thanks In advance.
    Anil

Can you explain your query KFs structure..
Seems that in your report there is 1 KF for each version....but you have 1 input variable which holds multiple values ...If thats right..then how are you getting values for diff versions from 1 & same variable..
No, there is one key figure for each document..
    for example,
    (doc/calday/version/sales revenue)
    DOC00001   01012011   0       100BRL
    DOC00002   01012011   A1    120BRL
    DOC00003   01012011   R1    110BRL
In the report, the user can filter by one or more version, and based on wich version he selects, for each version we need to use a specific currency translation.
The structure in the query is
    In Lines
    Sales Revenue
    In columns
    Calday / Version
