Problem in mnessage type DESADV

I have set up all necessary step for outbound DESADV. But Idoc is generated while I save delivery document not on PGI(post goods issue). My requirement is Idoc should generate when PGI is happen.
Any Idea folks !!!

I do not have idea where can I get requirement.

Mapping problem for IDOC Type DESADV

Dear all
I need to change Segment E1EDP07 in the message type DESADV.
I should concatenate VBELN and VGPOS into BSTNK.
I tried to do this with BD79 (Rules for Data Converting). This seems not to work as I can get only 1 sender Field.
So I tried to use the userexit EXIT_SAPLBD11_001, but it seems that this is not used. I have set a break-point for debugging and treated the IDOC with RSNAT00 without any stop.
Do you have any ideas how I can do this?

With the first one, you cannot do much, as there is no user exit in it. But in the second one, there is a user exit when the idoc data is parsed the exit name is EXIT_SAPLV55K_004 and is called in the subroutine DESADV_IDOC_PARSE in the function.
But please note that the function IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 is used with process code DELS for message type DESADV and Idoc type DELVRY01 and IDOC_INPUT_DESADV is used with process code DESA and message type DESADV with IDoc type DESADV01. So you might be using IDOC_INPUT_DESADV function and unfortunately there are no user exits to handle your requirement.
My advice would be to check with the source system or the middleware to define the mapping of these fields according to your requirement. But if that is not possible, then you need to first check which message type and IDoc type you are receiving and proceed accordingly

Hi all,
W're having a inbound process to create inbound deliveries via IDOC.
mess type:DESADV basic type: DELVRY03
We want to create a item text on the delivery via the IDOC. Is this possible?
I see that there's a segment E1TXTH9 - E1TXTP9 to put in texts.
But as I see it, to create a text, we have to give the delivery nr in TDOBJECT TDOBNAME TDID TDSPRAS LANGUA_ISO.
But since we are creating it, this is not possible.
Is there any way to create an item text on an inbound delivery via the IDOC? And how.

Set as filter VKORG instead of KUNNR For the Mess. type DESADV T.code BD64

Hi,
I am looking to set as sales organization as a filter in the distribution model (Transaction code BD64) for the message type DESADV. So I have added an entry for the field VKORG in the transaction code BD59 as well as BD95 and I have deleted the entries for KUNNR in BD59 transaction code .
But still I am getting a message that In the ALE distribution customer model several recipient systems for IDOCs with message type DESADV and filter object type u2018KUNNRu2019.
As I am looking to remove the filter type from KUNNR value to VKORG, so could please anyone can give me some suggestions so that it will be helpful for me.

Not sure if I catch on, did you run bd64 on XI? ... Generally, after you have created model view on sender R/3 system, you should save it. Then, chose a model view for which you want to generate a partner profile and go to the menu "environment--> generate parter profile". Then partner profile will be generated.

Thank you for responding. I am sure that I selected the text. I don't do anything different than I did many times before. But if I change a text know, for exemple in the color Red, than other text, that I didn't selected, get a different text: bigger text or other color. In iWeb everything is OK, but when I publish it, than there are those grazy changes. I use iWeb for 3 years now and had no problems till now.
Is it because the software is not supported anymore by Apple, because you can not update the software anymore. It is a pitty, because I like iWeb. It is easy to work with.

Problem in Idoc type

Hi Experts,
I am facing one strange issue in idocs.
I am having a scenario where for particular LS i have assigned HRMD_A06 basic type and ZHRMD_A06 extension in partner profile.
and i am trying to implement badi HRALE00OUTBOUND_IDOC.
in this badi at runtime wrong message type is getting picked up at the runtime(checked in debugging). But at the end it displays proper basic type.
so for me it is getting difficult to write logic in this badi.
Please guide is there any particular setting apart from partner profile where we assign message type to LS.

Problem with mime type in web.xml file

Hi everybody,
I actually got a problem with mime types on Weblogic 6.0 under Linux.
I read the documentation so I added the next lines in the web.xml file in
the WEB-INF directory of my server :

Why can't I retrieve a .doc or .ppt files with an internet browser correctly
? I get only text/plain ...

I am having the same problem with doc and xsl. I have added this

</mime-mapping>
to my web.xml. I even restarted the server. I still see doc and xsl in binary.
Is there some other setting that needs to take place?
I am using WL6.1 with fixpack 1.
I can see the doc and excel files in the browser if I don't go through the weblogic
server. That just confirms it's not my browser.

Multiple Shipping notifications (Inb.Dlv) created via message type DESADV

Hello All,
I'm working on implementing the below SAP Standard process for my client. Version is SAP 4.7. The below process has to be implemented for different legal entities working on Same SAP environment.
PO -> SO (Created via IDoc) -> Outbound Delivery -> Inbound Delivery (Shipping Notification) -> Invoice -> Invoice reciept.
Most of the process are working, but facing few challenges while creating a shipping notification via message type DESADV and Basic type DESADV01 genereated out of Output type LAVA from Outbound delivery.
I'm using 2 IDoc types to create Shipping notification via Outbound delivery and defined as below
Outbound Process: Message type DESADV and Basic type DESADV01 with Process code SD05 for Customer (KU)
Inbound Process: Message type DESADV and Process code DESA for Logical system (LS)
I'm facing the following issues with respect to above process
01) We need to update Batch Details like batch number, Date of Production, SLED/BBD in Shipping notification (Inb. Dlv) as Batches Instead of vendor batch
02) When Outbound delivery has multiple line items, it is creating Multiple Shipping notifications (Shipping notifications for each line item). PO has
As per the the threads posted here, I understand that for 01) We need to modify the Outbound IDoc FM "IDOC_OUTPUT_DESADV01" & Inbound IDoc FM "IDOC_INPUT_DESADV". But any idea, which Enhancements i have to use to fill the data?
Also on point 02) i think, it should be a SAP standard to create a single Shipping notifications for all line items in the outbound delivery instead of each for line item. But in case if it is not a standard process, can any one tell me which user exits / enhancements to use to achieve the desired functionality.

Several deliveries are created through IDOC message type DESADV.

Hi Gurus,
Do you happen to know why in IDOC, message type DESADV, FM BORES_IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1, several inbound deliveries are created? What could have been tha reason for the split? One strange thing is, we tried to create an inbound delivery manually using the same material or data in idoc but only one delivery were created. No split occurred.
I tried to investigate and i found out that Idoc uses FM GN_DELIVERY_CREATE while manual creation uses GN_DELIVERY_CREATE_FOR_DIALOG. Do they have difference?
I hope someone can help me on this.

Data loading problem with Movement types

Hi Friends,
I extarcted data using the data source General Ledger : Line itemdata (0fi_gl_4) to BW side.
Problem is Movement Types for some documents missing.
But i checked in rsa3 that time showing correctly.
i restricted the data in bw side infopackage level only particular document that time data loading perfecly.
this data source having 53,460 records.among all the records 400 records doc type 'we' movement types are missing.
please give me solution for this how to loading the data with movement types.
i checked particular document of 50000313 in RSA3 it is showing movement types. then i loaded data in bw side that time that movement types are not comming to be side. then i gave the particular doc 50000313 in infopackage level loading the data that time movement types are loading correctly. this extaractor having 55000 records.
this is very urgent problem.Please give me reply urgenty. i am waiting for your's replys.

we enhanced Mvement type field(MSEG-BWART) General ledger (0FI_GL_4) extractor.
this field populated with data all the ACC. Doc . number.
Only 50000295 to 50000615 in this range we are not getting the movement types values.
we didn't write any routines in transfer and update rules level.
just we mapped to BWART field 0MOVETYPE info object.
we restrict the particular doc no 50000313 infopackage level that time loading the the data into cube with movement types.
but we remove the restriction infopackage level then loading the data that time we missing the movement types data of particular doc no 50000295 to 50000615.
Please give mesolution for this. i need to solve this very urgently.

For 810 i think the procedure would be the same but themseeburger mapping program that validates the ANSX 810 would be different.As far as 997is concerned 997 is a functional acknowledgement.Its a genric format that is used to send acknowledgement for any EDI transaction set that has been sent.
3. Can anybody provide me Mapping Logic (at field level) done in XI/PI for 850, 810 , Dispatch Advice (IDOC type DESADV) .
The logic will be based on the trading partner guidelines which will contain the description of all the semantic and syntactiic description about the segments ,its feilds.we need to consider the guidelines and target side specifications too while mapping.

Problem about number types

hi,
we are having problem on number types on odp.net.
we add a number(6) type column to a table by alter command without a default value and there is no problem.
when we query the table we get a short type (in c#) in datatable for the column .
but if we add the column by giving a default value then odp.net returns a decimal for the column.
to avoid to make anybody confused i can say it is independent from the scale,,
whether you define a number(6) or number(1) , there is a decimal type in datatable.
i think it's a bug, is there any suggestions/comments for this scenario??
** we can overcome it by following these steps , but it is not a suitable way for every case.
     - first define the column without default value,
     - then assign the appropriate value to the column for each row
     - then define the default value for column

Problems with enumerated type and DataSocket

I am publishing an enumerated type variable using DataSocket write and I am having problems subscribing to this with other clients on the network. I can get the program to work ok if I replace the enumerated type with a straight numeric or a Text Ring for example. Is there anything special I should be looking out for when using enumerated types in this type of application.

Problem with content type

Hi All,
I have set the content type to text/html by using the following statement in jsp
<%@page contentType=�text/html�%>And if I give
out.println("<a href="aaa.do">Click here</a>"); it is showing me a link to click here that's fine.
But my problem here is that I am using struts <bean:write name="user1" property="subject"/> tag and the data in the subject field is Click here i.e the output from the database, now its not showing the link instead displaying every thing even if the content type is set. How can I achieve this? please help me out.

in your bean:write tag try setting the filter attribute to false, like so
