Problem in multiple selections in a jList

I have two jLists. Now I have to select some items from one jlist and have to transfer in the other one. But while trying to do it in the runtime I am getting some unexpected runtime errors including "Exception occurred during event dispatching". When I try to transfer only one item it works fine but shows problem in multiple selections. Pleast give your suggestions.

Hi all,
I am working on a report, when I execute the report and the selection screen comes up, there I need to enter 5 different employee name so I am trying to use "multiple selection" option but as soon as I hit that "Yellow arrow" in front of employee name field .. I saw the output first and when I go one screen back I get that screen where I can enter the names. So can you please help me with this.

Problem in multiple selection in result page.

Hi all ,
My requirement is to create a search and result page and in result page i need to add two buttons for delete and create new, the delete and create new is working fine for single selection mode, but for multiple selection the create new is not working , i added the following code in the do_prepare_output.
typed_context->result->set_selection_mode(

When i click on new all fields are in non editable mode and have text as"BRANCHID is not bound".

After selecting the multiple records you are trying to click new button right.
Are you displaying records or orders(like service ,sales,contracts,contacts,..etc ) in result view??
Can you please elaborate the what you are displaying in result view.

Ok, so far we have three reports of this (from Lum1r, aaron and catfordboyjohn). You're all using Macs.
Could you each please let us know the exact Mac and Keyboard you're using?
1) Go To "About This Mac" in the Apple Menu
2) Click "More Info..."
3) Click "System Report"
4) Copy and paste the "Model Identifier" from the "Hardware Overview" display.
It should be something like: Model Identifier: MacBookPro10,1
What keyboard are you using? Is it a standard Apple USB connected keyboard?
Do you using any "accessibility" utilities or OS settings that may alter the behavior of the keyboard?

Switched from Samsung Note 2 to iphone 6. Faced Difficulties while sending message. [1]Multiple Selection of receipients is not available. Eg. If I click plus, it shows me all the contacts but i cannot select multiple contacts using checkbox

Thanks for the reply.. I also tried that way.. I face couple of issues
1) I could not find an option of saving a Draft Message
2) After multiple recipients(I have selected 12 recipients) in "TO" section, if I type a word in "TO" such as "Pre", it shows me all the contacts containing "Pre" but I cannot select the last contact incase there are more than 20 contacts coz I am unable to scroll down till the end.. If I do so.. I cannot select coz screen scrolls up automatically..

Holding shift key down for multiple selection of objects ?

Possibly me - but latest release of muse on my mac running OSx 10.8.5 now holding down the shift key and clicking doesn't seem to allow me to multiple select objects- works fine in illustrator and Indd , cant see a preferences check anywhere that i have missed - am I the only one with this issue ?

Managing multiple selections using listModel......

Im a newbie to java can anyone give me a pointer or two as to how I would go about removing multiple selections from a JList using listModel??
Any help would be great.

Why not try using the removeSelectionInterval(int,int) method of the JList itself? It should be fairly obvious as to how to proceed with this (i.e. stepping through the list element at a time, deselecting as necessary).
I'm watching this topic if you need further help!

Multiple-selection JList

how to retrieve the data (tables, columns) from access database to the JList? i already success connected database to the jdbc-odbc bridge...after got the all column names (JList2) from selected table (JList1), i would like to select the certain column name by clicking the ( > , <, >>, << jbutton1, 2, 3, 4 ) to the another JList (JList3) because not all the column is useful to use to analyse. i think i need to use multiple selection JList but i don't know how to start because i am new to java.

Usually data from a database would be stored in a JTable as it already provide support for multiple rows and columns:

Also, with JDK1.3 there is some sample code of using a JTable with a database. I'm not sure if the code actually runs, but at least you can look at the source to see the steps involved:

Data template multiple selection problem

I have a problem with the Multiple Selection on the BI Publisher using data templates. One of my parameters is called p_application, this parameter is a integer/number and its values come from a list of values.
I'm getting the error "....invalid number". I think the data template is not understanding that this parameter have multiple selection.

Use the setSelectionMode(ListSelectionModel.SINGLE_SELECTION ) for your JList / JTable.

JSP/JBO multiple Selection problem

I am user the BC4J JBO InputSelectGroup object to insert what I was hoping multiple selection values into a field. It will only insert one value. What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure if this is similar to the problem i faced, where I was not able to close the variable selection screen after making use of the variant button.
I solved this by applying the latest BI 7.0 addon patch.

Multiple selection in JList

How can I set up a JList that always uses multiple selection. That is, it acts as though the CTRL key is held down when the user selects items.

Here's an example of multi-selection in a listbox, but using the shift key

Multiple Selection with JList

Hello!
I have a Frame with a JList that needs to be able to do multiple slection. The JList ist filled with special names which are found when the user opens a certain file. (so a file-chooser is here too) When the User selects a name every paragraph containing that name should be posted in a textarea.
However, when i run the program I can select multiple items, BUT it just recognises that the user selected one of the items, and I think it's the first one clicked.
How can I change that? I have used getSelectedValues() but it just won't work...
Can someone please help?

Multiple Selection problem

Hello experts,
I´ve got a query with a variable with a multiple selection. I want to add a list of numbers to that multiple selection. I copy that list into the windows clipboard and then add it to the multiple selection. After that the window doesn´t close when I click on "ok".
If you want to test it: You´ll always get that failure when you add a list into a multiple selection, then delete everything (click recycle bin) and add it again. After that, you can´t close the window of the multiple selection and strange things happen.
Can anybode help me, I can´t find any OSS-Note for that problem...
