Problem in Opening Workflow Applet
Hi,
I have installed Stellent 7.5.1
All the components are working fine, if i'm trying to open Workflow i'm getting pop saying this message
"unable to start the application workflow. Failed to response from host Server returned HTTP response code:502 for URL"
Can any one suggest how this can be solved.

Are you referring to the Workflow Admin Applet?
If so do the other Admin Applets fail in the same way?
This is most likely a TCP/IP or webserver issue

Browser crashes when trying to open 2 applets in 2 browser windows-
i am having this weird problem, on windows XP, if i open a applet in IE or firefox browser and then open a new browser window and try to open another applet in that windows, the browser simply crashes with no error message or anything,
For example
if i click on link below and then when this applet is loaded i open a new browser window and try to open other applet from the link the new opened window closes.
can some one try this on there PC and let me know if it happens there, and what might be the issue?

We are facing a problem in opening JPopupMenu in multiple browser windows. We have a parent window which has a JApplet. We have another window which is a child window of the parent. That also has a different applet.
When we right click on the applet which is available in the parent window, the popup menu shows up.
When we do the same on the child window, the popup shows up finely. Now when we select any menu item in the child window's popup, the focus goes to the parent window and then immediately comes back to the child window.
We are not overriding any focus lost event in the applets or handling any key events. We are using JDK 1.4.1 plugin to the browser.

We have an applet which is displayed in 2 browser instances (parent/child) windows. The 2 windows have different instances of the same applet.
Problem : When the user right clicks on the applet container, a popup menu is displayed. Keeping the popup menu display intact, when the user moves to the child window and right clicks on the applet container to display the popup menu, slight flickering happens which is to dispose the popup menu displayed in the first applet and then displays in the second applet.
In the mouseReleased() method in the applet we are creating a new instance of JPopupMenu adding the necessary menu items and then displaying it. We have made sure that the 2 browser windows are having 2 different instances of the applet.
Does this mean that the JVM always creates one instance of the popup menu ?? OR how to avoid this flickering problem ??
Further to the problem mentioned above :
1. The user right clicks on the first applet to display the popup menu.
2. Clicks on a menu item (Currently no event is fired when the menu is selected). The popup menu will be disposed after this operation.
3. The user then moves to the second applet and right clicks on the second applet to display the popup menu.
4. Now when the user presses the mouse button on the menu item, there is a focus shift from the second applet to the first applet. And when the mouse is released the focus comes back to the second applet.
Note : There is no actionlistener is added to the menu items.
Any one has any idea why this kind of behaviour is occurring in the applet and popup menu ?? -
Why the IE cannot open the Applet build by Swing
Halo, i build a GUI inside an Applet, by using the Java Swing. althoug i have
installed the Java plug in, and use the HTML converter, but when i try to use the internet explorer to open this applet, the exception is thrown, and it said the

I am having a problem with a new installation of COREid 7.0.4. All applets in User, Group and Org Manager work fine with the exception of the Group Manager Workflow configuration Applet. Problem with focus on applet - jvm1.6
Hi,
I have a problem with focus on applet in html page with tag object using jvm 1.6.
focus on applet work fine when moving with tab in a IEbrowser page with applet executed with jvm 1.5_10 or sup, but the same don't work with jvm1.6 or jvm 1.5 with plugin1.6.
with jvm 1.5 it's possible to move focus on elements of IEbrowser page and enter and exit to applet.
i execut the same applet with the same jvm, but after installation of plugin 1.6, when applet gain focus don't release it.
instead if i execute the same applet with jvm 1.6, applet can't gain focus and manage keyevent, all keyevent are intercepted from browser page.

From what you have described, I think the best approach would be to restore the original IDT driver, restart the computer, test that driver, then install the driver update, and test the outcome of installing the newest driver.
Use the following link for instructions to recovery the ITD driver using Recovery Manager. Restoring applications and drivers.
Once the driver is restored, restart the computer and test the audio. If the audio is good you can continue to use this driver, or you can reinstall the update and see what happens. IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver.
If installing the newest driver causes the issue to occur but the recovered driver worked, I suggest recovering again.
If neither driver works I will gladly follow up and provide any assistance I can.

Problem while opening Bex query on the web
Hello BW experts,
I have a problem while opening Bex query from my SAP Favorites.See below.
When i double click on the query, i get the following page, with the server name KBWS01QX.
But, from RSRT Tcode, select the query > query display as HTML > Click on ABAP Web , click execute as shown below, it is going to the correct URL as in the 2nd screen shot below.
My question is why is it going to the wrong URL when i open it from SAP Favorites menu?
I want it to open the same URL as it opened from RSRT(which is the right one)
What is the Config needed to make it to work from SAP favorites.
Any help would be appreciated.

Opening an applet from a java desktop application
I have an applet and I've seen some fairly complicated methods (for me) of making the main class hybrid and open as both an applet and an application. Isn't there a simple way o having a class with a main method to open the applet class in an applet viewer or maybe the browser? Then I could compile it and run the same jar file as both an application and an applet. What is the simplest way you can think of to do this?
The simplest was is to put all that GUI stuff into a JPanel, and not a JFrame or JApplet. That way, you can embed it in anything you like.

I need to create a workbook on a query, Am facing problem in opening the query, when i try to open a query in analyzer/ RSRT it starts processing & continues till 1 hour or more & finally message "Time limit Exceeded" pops up.
i tried opening a workbook & copy the workbook & tried changing the query in the data provider. but the same problem persists.
can anyone suggest me an alternate way to create workbook on a specified query.

once when i executed the query in RSRT it gave an ABAP Debugger errror. i check if it was problem with table space, but space is available & its auto extendable. -
Problem with opening of PDF in my webmail application
I have a problem with opening a pdf file in my webmail application of my internet provider in apple safari since yesterday. When I wanted to open up a pdf file I got a pop up message to allow a connection between adobe and the webmail application which I did. Since then I can not open up a pdf file. If I go to another browser or if I use email from another internet provider I use too it works and I can open up. It seems to be a blockage of the specific combination of this webmail application and safari.

Problem with opening a indd file in CC 2014.
When I'm trying to open a 5.5 .indd-file in CC 2014 on my Windows computer, I get this error message: 'Either the file does not exist or you do not have permission to open it or the file is used by another program'. However my collague has no problem with opening the document on his Mac computer. I guess it has something to do with a kind of setting in my CC 2014. Can anyone help me?
Nothing to do with ID. It really means what it says - your file permissions are hosed and it being an ID file this could include things like fonts or placed images referenced within it.

Pen drive write protected - Unable to format
I have a usb pen drive mounted. I cannot create any folder or delete any file. It says read only mode. I also tried to formate it using the gparted tool, it says partition read only I tried dd command it also says partition is read only file system s

I receive an error message when I update my security questions saying an error has occured and we cannot save your information.

I deleted a bunch of songs by sliding over the song, and simply deleting it. When I plugged it into my sisters laptop, the music is still present and ghostly/grey looking. I can't slide over it and delete it. It's taking up too much space on my iPhon
