Problem in positioning in css

hi all
I am working in a small jquery animation .there seems to be some kind of problem in my css my image which are used in the animation is not coming on the right side of the screen it coming in the left side;

I've never seen a slider where the images are being absolutely positioned ontop of one another. Where did that solution come from? Usually you let the jquery script take care of the images position, when the page loads. That is probably the issue, by absolutely positioning them left: 0px, you are requesting them to appear left.
I would get rid of all the positioning/styling crap from the image tags, just keep the src of the file.
From this:

To this:
<img src="images/image01.jpg" width="463" height="506" alt="">
Then add text-align: right; and height: 839px; to the css class as shown below:

Amend the 'slider <div> tag to as below: (you don't need the inline styling, your embedded css style takes care of the specification)

The only reason I can see for using absolute positioning for the images is purely on a 'visual' base in Dreamweaver design view.

Content Search Web Part with Hover Panel - Problem with positioning with css

Hi guys!
I´m having trouble with positioning the hover panel for the Content Search Web Part.
I used
this article to help me with luck as far as to the positioning. I´ve tried some inline styling but maybe my knowledge in css is no good enough here.
Here´s a screenshot from how this looks like. The hover panel generates a gap between the result items, the same height as the hover panel:

Pleaseeeeeee Help - Problems with position of my web page

Hi, first sorry on my english
I have problem with position of my page. I had made my web page in Indesign CS5 and exported to swf file. My web page is working fine (www.igor-flytying.com) but the page is not in the middle of the web browser. How can I fix the problem????? I am a beginer in Indesign. I had try to make some changes in html file (salign) but still nothing.

Petteri, SWFObject is much better because it loads the JavaScript so you don't see it inside the HTML page, but it still wraps the swf in a div which by default will be positioned in the upperleft of the browser window.
This is the only way I've been able to center using SWFObject—note that it's the "flashcontent" div style that does the centering not the align embed parameter:

Problem with redundancy in CSS 11051

I have a problem with redundancy in CSS 11051. I use firewall load balancing and server load balancing. Load balancers which only load balance over 3 firewall switch from primary to master with no problems.
problem is with load balancers which load balance over firewalls and over servers two. whene the master is shutdown, backup keeps master function, all services on backup LB are alive, but it is not possible to display web page on address 10.10.7.16. Even if I try from the network 10.10.7.0/24, so before firewalls. below my config. any help appreciate.

Problem with ACL in CSS-to-CSS redundancy configuration

I have two CSSes - first is master, second is backup. When I enable ACL on master CSS, it can't see more the backup CSS. My first rule is to allow all traffic between both CSSes. I have CSS 11050 with 4.10 Build 10.
Here is a part of my config:

and trace your unworking configuration
if you give flow option 0xffffff you should see why ACL didn't pass app traffic..
second idea is to use normaln acls w/o nql....
with permit keyword...
share expirience here again 8-)

Jquery slider problems need help with css part

I am building a website with the jquery slider and for some reason it is entering the amount of pics in the slider below the slider and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. It appears in Live Mode and when you view in in any browser. Here is the code that I have been using.

I'm still seeing the problem with printing when css overflow is hidden (bug 104040) which I had heard was claimed fixed

I've seen this behavior on many websites, this is an example
I can fix it by copying the page and hacking the css to remove all cases of "overflow:hidden". But really firefox needs to handle this - I just discovered from googling that something like this has been a known problem for 10 years.

I just thought I should post this comment, to say my long running problem has finally....FINALLY been sorted out!
It was actually really fixed at the end of September, but I have waited till now, until I received my first proper bill to feel confident enough to say it is finally sorted out.....but what a long winded process!...it took over a month to sort this out, with endless hours on the phone, and endless promises not kept.
The problem with BT's customer service is the fact that going through normal channels, no one person can sort a problem out. You get passed from pillar to post, with every department saying that it is someone else's area of responsibility and then it takes hours on the phone with various deparments in different countries, to get a commitment to sort it out, and then nothing happens!
It was only after posting my final desperate plea on this forum, for all the world to see, that I finally got one of the Moderators to take up my case, and sort the problem out, although it took him over a month to get through all the treacle of BT's admin before a solution was found.
I am very greatful to the Mods for dealing with my problem, which was not of my making, but was due to something going wrong with BT's system.
There is however something fundamentally wrong with BT's Customer Service set up, where no one person seems to take responsibilty for a CXXk-up on their part, and seems unable to have the authority to sort it out.

Strange problem displaying external files (css includes)

Hope somebody can help me with this. First of all, I'm running mac os x 10.4.11 using dreamweaver 8.0.2.
Just recently i've been unable to display any external files (namingly my css; attached as includes) when I open a local document. Tried to delete my "site cache" as well as re-creating the site prefs and made sure "Display External Files" is checked under COMMANDS. Still nothing. Anyone have a idea it just all of a sudden stopped displaying all external fles???

I tried testing the RSS feed using a FeedReader, and it works with that. But, when I try feed the same URL ( http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_topstories.rss ) as the XML source in the Omniportlet, I get the following error message:

Positioning with CSS

I cant seem to get css to position things without many hours of headaches.... please help:
This first link is the page I am trying to build in Dreamweaver.
1 - I want the three links that are in the banner <div> to be closer together so that they fit within the white area
2 - I want the container <div> to have a white background all the way until I close it

I also cant figure out how to get the text to display like I want it without a table....I dont know why everyone is against tables now, but I assume there's a good reason so I tried to do it without and after 2 hours, I spent 3 minutes doing a table. Spry Effects doesnt work with position:absolute CSS

HI guys,
I have a text with position: absolute; left: 20px; top: 10px;
to it and using Spry's Fade Effect, it just shows it without any
fade animation, any ideas why?

Flash CS4 multiple selection probleme, Scale/position

Hello.
i noticed that if you have a flash cs4 AS2 where you need to make a zoom and unzoom effect on multiple element, you will have a painfull time building that scale+position effect. Let me explain.
Everything need to be scaled from 0 to 100 % and then from 100 % to 0. Some of those need to be scale in the exact position where they are, but other need to also move to fit the zoom effect for a result of a central effect for everything ). For some unknow reason the Tween is not working for those item. So i had to do it manually using 50 keyframe of 1 frame ( ho joy... dont forget to times that by 19)
We all know that when you use the free transform tools, you have the transform box + the little circle that define the effect "center" location of the item. Whatever the location of that little circle, when you zoom it will go away in the opposite direction and the reverse is also true. So far it work perfectly.
however if you take the time to set that little circle for all your element perfectly and test it with all element, you should be able to select ALL of your element at the same time and execute the same move as if you were doing it on a single element right ?. Well no.
If you do it with a single element and play with the scale ( with constraint) it does what you want. But if you select them all, you discover quickly enough that it is no longer working. You also discover that it is adding a NEW little circle ( "center" position) that is offset. Fair enough, i move that circle at the exact location of the zoom effect then try to make the zoom, and TADAM.. it is not working, it is still messing with the direction of the scale/position.
Ctrl Z. unselect everything, and try again with only 1 random element ? work perfectly. Try with all of them at the same time ? dont work.
REmember all those element zoom at the same location, so you shouldn't have any probleme with the new little circle as long you move it at the same spot than the other. But no. even if it is there, it will still scale/position South of where it suposed to be. Doing it all at the same time while setting that circle should save you time, but right now it is the exact opposite, an effect that could take 1 hour to make will take me the full day, if not more.

Yes Kglad, that the little circle thing i was speaking about.
It is set manually to fit the design and if i select my item 1 by 1 and zoom them manually, it is working.
The bug is when you select them all ( AFTER setting all the registration point ) you will get another one that is not set, so even if you set it manually at that time ( when all is selected ) and THEN apply the zoom, it will no longer work.
thats the bug.

Need help positioning a CSS declaration

In Adobe's CSS Advisor, Matt Smith has an article explaining
the Disappearing List Background Bug.
He says,
"The fix for this bug is simple: just relatively position the

Can anyone tell me where in the body of my code does this CSS

Problem adding bootstrap responsive css to muse/bc site

Here's an example of the problem:

As the browser window is made narrower, at arrowed 760px there's some kind of progressive right margin or padding apparently going on. At phone width the content would be all smashed into the left side at like 15px.
Anyone know how to get rid of this?
The template is imported from muse to bussiness catalyst. In the muse file there's an html insert that contains the link to the bootstrap css (
<link href="css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet"> ). The two bootstrap css files, that contain only the grid, were uploaded via business catalyst to the css folder.
Please help!

Hello guys i m getting problem in date picker css in new version(21.0) firefox month & year drop down not working but its working when I close the dialog box

when I m opning datepicker (by jquery 1.7.3 min.js) it will work on normal UI but it's dropdown not working in dialog UI after I closed the dialog the datepicker dropdown works
and also it works in older version of firefox like 15.0
