Problem in reading properties in webapp

Hi,
i've a problem in reading properies from resource ...
My actions are next:
InputStream is = this.getClass().getResourceAsStream("/some.properties");
// in a static case, i simply create an instance of the class.
InputStream is = this.getClass().getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("some.properties");
property file is allocated in web-inf/classes
and also in app-inf/classes - because web-app is a part of ear.
Both methods does work in tomcat ... - in single web app
Are any suggestions?

emmm ... however .. it is my bug :) ...
it does work ... however in another place process of reading proeprty goes through SystemResource...

Problem in reading the JDK1.4Logger configuration file from java prog

I have written a java program and want to log the messages in a log file , I'm using commons logging with JDK1.4logger as logging subsystem .
I am facing the problem in reading the JDK1.4Logger configuration file which is commons-logging .properties file from my java program as a result my log messages are appearing directly on the screen while I try to run program , during compilation no error is shown . I have tried to set java.util.logging.config.file ="Path of my commons-logging .properties file " by setting system properties also.
Please suggest the appropriate solution for this .

In that case, you need to specify that resource bundle information in web.xml at the time of specifying the action servlet like this. Check for the init-param application.

Problem in Reading XLSX File (MS EXCEL 2007).

I am reading all the properties to XL sheet and then utilising it in my code .
I am getting some problem in reading the Border of the Cell , my code is working fine with most of the Excel Sheet but it can not correctly read the Border of a few Excel files.
I am using the method ,
getBorderBottomEnum()
or
getBorderBottom()
but I can not read the Border used correctly for all the Excel Sheet .

Problem with reading config file

Hello,
I have problem with reading config file from the same dir as class is. Situation is:
I have servlet which working with DB, and in confing file (config.pirms) are all info about connection (drivers, users, passw, etc.). Everything work fine if I hardcoded like:
configFileName = "C:\\config.pirms";I need to avoid such hardcoding, I tryied to use:
configFileName = Pirms.class.getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream ("/prj/config.pirms").toString();but it isn't work.
My config file is in the same directory as Pirms.class (C:\apache-tomcat-5.5.17\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes\prj)
Also I tryied BundledResources, it isn't work fo me also.
Can anybody help me to solve this problem? with any examples or other stuff?

Cannot read properties files in debug mode .....

I am using JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3.0.4) and cannot seem to read properties files in debug mode, while it runs fine in Run (non debug) mode!!
For code like this:

is = this.getClass().getResourceAsStream(dbPropsFile); <---- ERRORS HERE!
props.load(is);
I get error messages like:
"Unable to find source file for package oracle.classloader, filename PolicyClassLoader.java".
Cannot go any further.
I am using the "hotspot" virtual machine under Project debug options. Using Sun's
JDK 1.5 update 6 with Ojvm installed.

I think I figured out something. In jDeveloper 10.1.3, open your project properties and click on the Run/Debug treeview branch. Now Edit the Run Configuration you are using (mine is Default) and check the Run Directory. If I change this to be the root of my source, which is one level down from my .jpr file, it now uses my standard path and finds my files. I suppose you could also change this to use the classes directory as the root as long as your props files were there too. My problems seem to be the result of my project root being one folder higher than my source root due to the way our project was imported from CVS. --Ed

read statement is working well when i was checked in the debugging mode, it's not working properly for the bulk load in the background. below are the steps i have implemented in my requirement.
1. I selected the record from the lookuo DSO into one internal table for all entried in source_packeage.
2.i have read same internal table in the field routine for each source_package entry and i am setting the flag for that field .
Code in the start routine
select source accno end_dt acctp from zcam_o11
into table it_zcam
for all entries in source_package
where source = source_package-source
     and accno = source_package-accno.
if sy-subrc = 0.
delete it_zcam where acctp <> 3.
delete it_zcam where end_dt initial.
sort it_zcam by surce accno.

                                             binary search
                                             transportin no fields.

RESULT = 'Y'.

this piece of code exist in the other model there its working fine.when comes to my code it's not working properly, but when i debug the transformation it's working fine for those accno.
the problem is when i do full load the code is not working properly and populating the wrong value in the RESULT field.
this field i am using in the report filter.
please let me know if anybody has the soluton or reason for this strage behaviour.

Problem While reading a file in text mode from Unix in ECC 5.0

I am working on Unicode Upgrade project of ECC5.0.
Here i got a problem with reading a file format which it does successfully in 4.6 and not in ECC5.0
My file format was as follows:

While i am getting some problem in ECC5.0 during conversion of the above line:

it was consider in the same # values.
I have used the following statement to open and read dataset.
OPEN DATASET i_dsn IN LEGACY TEXT MODE FOR INPUT.
READ DATASET i_dsn INTO pos_rec.

You might be facing this problem because of uni code. So while opening or reading the file, there is a statement call ENCODING. Use that option and keep the code page which you want. Then the problem may be solved.

First of all, use [code]-tags to make your code readable, please.
I didn't do a complete inspection of your code (because it's too much and unreadable as it is) and I don't know POI, but creating a new HSSFWorkbook for each input file sounds fishy to me ... try re-using the workbook and just creating a new sheet in each iteration.

Problem while reading XML file from Aplication server(Al11)

Hi Experts
I am facing a problem while reading XML file from Aplication server using open data set.
OPEN DATASET v_dsn IN BINARY MODE FOR INPUT.
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
READ DATASET v_dsn INTO v_rec.
WHILE sy-subrc <> 0.
ENDWHILE.
CLOSE DATASET v_dsn.
The XML file contains the details from an IDOC number , the expected output is XML file giving all the segments details in a single page and send the user in lotus note as an attachment, But in the present output after opening the attachment i am getting a single XML file which contains most of the segments ,but in the bottom part it is giving the below error .

for all the xml its giving the error in bottom part , but once we open the source code and if we saved in system without changing anything the file giving the xml file without any error in that .

with <QUALF>001 having almost same segment data . but E1EDT13 with QUALF>003 is populating all segment data

How to read properties file(key-value) in OSB?

Hi
I have a scenario in which I have to read some properties(key-value) from a file. Earlier whole code was developed in java and its easy to read properties file in java.
But now need to implement this in OSB and performance is very critical in this project.
I followed DVM approached defined in

But it did not work. I have hundreds of properties(key-value pairs) to read and need pass them to the business service along with input of proxy service.
What is the best approach for this (Can not go for db call as performance is very critical)?

Indesign CS3-JS - Problem in reading text from a text file

Can anyone help me...
I have an problem with reading text from an txt file. By "readln" methot I can read only the first line of the text, is there any method to read the consecutive lines from the text file.
Currently I am using Indesign CS3 with Java Script (for PC).
My Java Script is as follows........

Hi Bharath Raja G,
If you want to use readln, you'll have to iterate. I don't see a for loop in your example, so you're not iterating. To see how it works, take a closer look at FindChangeByList.jsx--you'll see that that script iterates to read the text file line by line (until it reaches the end of the file).

Problem in Reading Mail Attachement

I'm facing a problem while reading mail attachments. Java-mail returns null disposition for the below message,but this message has attachment javamail is not considering the mail attachment .I'm using java-mail 1.3.Can anybody help me to solve this problem ?

If you were assuming that every message would have a valid body part
and that they would tell you definitively which parts you should consider to
be "attachments", ya, that won't work. The disposition is a hint at best.
It can be wrong. It might not even be there.
