How to read properties file(key-value) in OSB?

Hi
I have a scenario in which I have to read some properties(key-value) from a file. Earlier whole code was developed in java and its easy to read properties file in java.
But now need to implement this in OSB and performance is very critical in this project.
I followed DVM approached defined in
http://blogs.oracle.com/christomkins/2010/02/domain_value_maps_in_oracle_se.html and http://blogs.oracle.com/christomkins/2010/02/domain_value_maps_in_oracle_se.html
But it did not work. I have hundreds of properties(key-value pairs) to read and need pass them to the business service along with input of proxy service.
What is the best approach for this (Can not go for db call as performance is very critical)?
Thanks
Vibhor

$DVM= <dvm      name="InterfaceProperties" xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/dvm" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/dvm">

</dvm>
XPATH is- ns1:dvm/ns1:rows[1]/ns1:row[1]/ns1:cell[1]/text()
If I run this xpath in Jdeveloper,its giving me proper output.
Please this as CQuery resource and try to run this xpath on OSB console.

  • How to read properties file?

    hi,all friends,can you tell me how to get information from the properties
              file such as weblogic.properties or
              user defined properties file? And where should I put the properties file?The
              location of properties file
              should not be pre-defined in the source code.I wanna get the location of
              properties file from weblogic.properties .
              Help me and thanks a lot..

              Hi Tony,
              for example in your init() insert such codes:
              Properties props = new Properties();
              FileInputStream fin;
              try {
              fin = new FileInputStream("weblogic.properties");
              props.load(fin);
              fin.close( );
              catch (IOException e) {
              throw new ServletException("blabla:", e);
              and verify the key, say: weblogic.system.bindAddr, you will get a string (exist) or null (non existing). for example:
              String s = props.getProperty("weblogic.system.bindAddr");
              if (s != null) {...} // existed
              else {...} // not existed

  • How to read a file with value of RAW data type? Please help

    Hi Experts,
       I  have a file with RAW data like DE864E48833BFFF1B805001CC4EF4BFA
       I am using GUI_UPLOAD.
       But this FM is throwing error.
       I tried by giving FILETYPE as ASC. The output internal table for this FM contains a field of type c size 32.
       Now it is able to read the file but I want to assign this value to a RAW data type variable.
       This it is unable to do. How to convert the char value to RAW data type?
    Please help!
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
    The documentation for the function module contains an example for RAW upload.
                begin of itab,
                      raw(255) type x,
                end of itab occurs 0.
               CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_UPLOAD'
               exporting
                  filetype =  'BIN'
                  filename = 'C:\DOWNLOAD.BIN'
               tables
                 data_tab = itab.

    But can any one have idea how to read XML file which is given below.
    <node>
    <key>ID</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    <key>Name</key>
    <string>Dhwani</string>
    <key>Postno</key>
    <integer>20</integer>
    <key>deskname</key>
    <string>flex</string>
    <key>empid</key>
    <integer>25</integer>
    <key>projectname</key>
    <string>abc</string>
    </node>
    Here i have xml file in form of key value pair. <key> node shows name of the key and after that <integer> or <string> node are the value for that specific key.
    if i select node.key then it shows me all the keys. and from that i cant make out what is the value for key ID.
    Is there any way to take first node and then second. i mean first i ll take value of key and store it into some arraycollection. and then value will be stored.
    Any help is appreciated.. Looking for positive reply.
    Thanks
    Dhwani

    means we have to read file every time Know but i dont
    want to be happen that ??? No you don't . You read the file once. You store it in the hashmap. Then you hand that hashmap to whatever class needing the data.
    getProperties() returns the hashmap, doesn't read the file.
    Maybe I should have called the method getMap or something.

    Start going through the tutorials that come with Axis (you didn't state which version of Axis you're using btw, and there are major differences between them).
    Anyway, the wsdl you list doesn't have an operation called "ValidateAddress". It has only one operation, called "process".
    The call takes 2 arguments, as defined in the input message, and returns one value as defined in the output message.
    Had you used Axis to generate your classes for you that would all have become quite obvious.

  • How to read Group ID from Value Mapping Context in Cache Monitoring ?

    Hi friends,
        In RWB --> Cache Monitoring --> Integration Server (Java) -> (Search for Value Mapping Groups) in this each item is identified by Value Mapping Group (GroupID, Context, Identifier/Agency, Identifier/Scheme). Either we create Value Mapping Table in ID or replicate value mapping data directly from text file/SAP table etc., in run time cache, data will be identified in this manner.
        Now, our requirement is to delete a record the Cache for a particular context. Two operations provided by XI one is 'Delete' and another one is 'DeleteGroup'. When we use either of this, we should know GroupID. Suppose, I replicated some large amount of data from my text file in Runtime Cache. Value Mapping Table is like that IN --> India, US --> USA, AU --> Australia, EG --> Egypt. Now, I am required to write a program to get the input country code from user which is going to delete in the value mapping table like IN/AU....  For this, what logic we should follow in the program is, First we scan the value mapping table and find the record (country code)  which is match with the input. Then find the GUID value for this record. Now we use the DeleteGroup Operation and pass this GUID and then delete the record.
        So, in essence, how to read the GUID from value mapping context.
        Friends, Kindly help me to do this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jegatheeswaran P.

    Did you get the way to read group id?

    One needs to know the meaning of the kernel functions and their working within the oracle database. I guess, oracle support can do the analysis more easily as they have access to the software code  as well necessary tools to interpret these internal routines.

  • The best way to read properties file

    Hi folks,
    The best way to read properties file i.e.. using ResourceBundle or FileInputStream . if so how to do it , my properties file is n WEB-INF/classes/myprop.properties.It's urgent.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rajeshwar.

    WEB-INF/classes should be in your classpath. The web container takes care of that.
    All you have to do is call ResourceBundle.getBundle("myprop").
    It'll append the .properties for you.
