Problem in setting an object in MapMessage

I have a MapMessage and am trying to set an object in that MapMessage as follows:
MapMessage mapMessage = null;
WorkflowData workflow = new WorkflowData();
mapMessage.setObjectProperty("workflowData", workflow);
here WorkflowData is my class whose object I wanna set into the map message.
This piece of code throws a MessageFormatException.
Please lemme know how tp resolve it ASAP

Hi,
I am trying to Set/Get Volume level of Input device which has only single channel but no master channel, then it fails to retrieve the kAudioDevicePropertyPreferredChannelsForStereo and intermittently kAudioDevicePropertyVolumeScalar for each channel. But this works well for Output device.
So is there any difference in setting/getting the volume of input channels?

That works but the the game will not be in full screen, it will have an empty strip at the bottom.
I actually found out what's the problem. I traced the stageWidth and stageHeight during resizing event. I found out that when it first resized, the stage width and height were the size with the notification bar. So when I pass the stage into startling, myStarling = new Starling(Game,stage), the stage is in the wrong size. For some reason, I can only get the correct stage width and height after the third resizing event.
So now I need to restart Starling everytime a resizing event happened. It gives me the right result but I am not sure it is a good idea to do that.

Can't use SecKeyRef and similar functions, when "Compile sources as" is set to "Objective c "

Hi, need to access SecKeyRef funcion and some other similar ones, but i can't access them, when my compiler option "Compile sources as" is set to "Objective c++". When it is set to "According to a file type", i dont get any errors with those funcions, but my old code starts to get errors. What should i do? I have tryed everything and still no luck...
I'm using xcode 4,6 and app is for iOS6.

I got my problem fixed. I was getting errors, with some failas that were importing <cmath><limits> etc. I renamed their extensions to .mm and set compile sources as to "According to a file type".
Now wait a second. So if my apps target is iOS6.1 , apple will no longer accept my app? I didn't heard nothing about it...

Problem in setting up Actionable Emails

Hope you are doing fine
I'm finding problems in setting up Actionable emails in Human Tasks.
The mails are coming fine, with approve/reject buttons, but when I click on either of those buttons and send the email, nothing is hapenning. The same, when done using workspace is working fine.
So I think this is something to do with the configuration.
Before setting up the configuration, I have the foll details
OutgoingMailServer, port
IncomingMailServer, port, userName(say ActionableAccnt), pwd (which I'm using for actionable email)
Here is my setup:
In email driver notification under UMS
Sender Address : [email protected]
Default Sender Address : [email protected]
provided outgoingMailServer, port, incomingMailServer, port, username, pwd
And setting in Workflow Notification Properties
From Address : [email protected]
Actionable Address : [email protected]
ReplyTo Address : [email protected] (this is a dummy address)
Please note that in every emailId entry except the replyToAddress, I've used the same valid emailId [email protected]
Is this ok? I'm ok even if the replyTo and actionable addresses are same.
I've restarted the server. But its not working.
Did I miss something here?
I've gone through the documentation, some blogs, but could not find any.
Would you please help me in this regard.

ADF Databound Drop Down causes "invalid for working set view object"

I've created a drop-down list per the instructions laid out in the "Creating a Databound Drop Down List in Oracle JDeveloper 10g" HowTo ( http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/tips/mills/databound_lists.html ). The list works fine when editing an existing row, but I get the following error when working with a newly created row:
JBO-25048: Operation getAllRowsInRange is invalid for a working set view object.
The drop-down list actually gets populated correctly despite the error. The error only occurs the first time I access the detail page that uses the list. I'm guessing that this may have something to do with the fact that the row value associated with with list is null.
Any ideas on how to workaround this one? Thanks.

The ViewObject that is bound to the list is only used for the purposes of the list so there shouldn't be any problem with its state being altered elsewhere. Not sure if that's what you mean by collisions or not...
I tried adding a "null/empty" value to the list but the results are the same.
What is meant by "working set view object"? What other types of ViewObject are there? How are they different and how does someone know which operations are valid/invalid?

I tried to set manually a row in a ViewObject as current with following code

But I get follwing error code
oracle.jbo.InvalidOperException: JBO-25048: Operation getKeyAttributeDefs is invalid for a working set view object
Sometimes I get this error and sometimes not. How can prevent from this error.

I called this method in Steve's
initializeModelForPage(...) method. I solved this problem by setting directly through setCurrentRow. I avoided to use the BindingContainer. Already I don't know how I can use the setCurrentRowWithKeyValue in initializeModelForPage.
In the initializeModelForPage I'm working directly with the ViewObjects. It's not the best way, but it works.
Do you know how I can work with BindingContainer methods, like setCurrentRowWithKeyValue inside the initializeModelForPage-method?

Problem in setting desired position for JPanel in JScrollPane!!!

I am having problem to set desired Scrollable(JScrollPane) JPanel position. I have a JPanel in a JFrame which is scrolable with lot of objects. It automatically displays on the top position inside JScrollPane, I want to set scroll position on the middle for the panel.
I went through the search for the same in this forum, i found some posts related to this but they are linked with JTextArea(setCaretPosition). With JPanel i can't set caret position.
Could anyone guide me how to set the scroll position on middle.

Problem enahnicng the Lead object

Hi All
i have a very serious problem with enhancing my object
there is a stnadard object of
LEAD BUS2000108
which i am enhancing to create a new method for the LEAD object
problem is that when i am trying to release the sub object the error is coming
" Existence Check method is not redifined"
the above mentioned method is actually inherited from the standard object so why should i redifine it
and if i am redifing it and then again when i try to release it error is comin that
" to relese it you need to set the status of super object as release first"
that means i have to set the status of standard business object of lead as release which requires the access key
what i really feels is that there is something wrong
because when we try to release the sub object after enhancing it this erros should not be coming because the method that is not redifined is actually the standard method and is inherited from the original object ,so why should i refine it
please tell me what should i do
this is very crucial project requirement
any help will be highly appreciated

Problem with SET GET parameters

Hi all,
I am facing a problem using SET and GET parameters.
There is a Z transaction(Dialog program) where some fields of screen are having parameter ID's. That transaction is designed to diaplay/change status of only one inspection lot at a time.
Now I need to call that transaction in a loop using BDC. I mean i need to update the status of multiple inspection lots(one after the other). Before calling the transaction I am using
SET PARAMETER ID 'QLS' FIELD lv_prueflos.
Unfortunately the transaction is only changing the first inspection lot. When I debugged I found that the screen field is changing in PAI. Even though in PBO it shows the next value, when it goes to PAI it is automatically changing to the first value(inspection lot).
Example: Inspection Lots : 4100000234
4100000235
4100000236
Now first time when the call transaction is being made the status of insp lot 4100000234 is changed. For the second time when insp lot 4100000235 is being passed in PBO ican see this. But the moment it enters PAI the screen field changes to 4100000234.
Could you pls help me in solving this issue.

After the installation of Oracle Lite 3.6.0.2.0 on a laptop (with WIN 95 OS), When I run Oracle Lite Designer from start menu, I receive following error message :

the PATH and CLASSPATH were set accordingly, as with JDK1.1.8, and there was no classes.zip in classpath
also the class file or the jar file looks weird or wrapped in the error message : 'FILES\ORA95_2\LITE\DESIGNER\oldes.jar;C:\PROGRAM'
Another interesting thing I noticed is if I run oldes.exe from Installation CD, the Oracle Lite Designer runs fine, and without error, I'm able to modify tables in the database of my laptop also.
Could someone shade some light on what am I doing wrong here ?

Button in Bex Analyser 7.0 - problem with setting up Static Parameters

I know a similar problem has been discussed here already, but I am still having problems with setting up Static Parameters of my Button in BEx Analyser 7.0, so that I can pass Variable values from that button to my query.
This is what I do - in Static Parameters of my Button I set the following values:
Name                          Index          Value
DATA_PROVIDER        0               DP_1
CMD                             0               PROCESS_VARIABLES
SUBCMD                      0               VAR_SUBMIT
VAR_NAME                 0               0RMA_FIP
VAR_VALUE               0               004/2010
As a result, I would like the value 004/2010 to be passed to variable 0RMA_FIP (which is mandatory) and the query to be executed with that value. For some reason, however, the value is not passed correctly, and instead the variable is filled with a blank or not filled at all, and I am getting a message "Specifiy value for variable Fiscal year/period". What do I do wrong?
Just to give you a broader picture - I would like to later use this logic to pass more than one variables into a query, including a hierarchy node, and read the values from an Excel worksheet - however, after many attempts to do so, I started playing with just one variable to figure out what the problem was.

I managed to figure it out myself!
Instead of VAR_VALUE I need to enter VAR_VALUE_EXT, and it works fine.

Error "Problem occured locking WS object" while activating Proxy

Hi All,
I have move an Inbout proxy to a different Client(QA system) and in QA system that proxy shows incative.
When i tried to activate that proxy/service in Sproxy, getting error "Problem occured locking WS object".
Proxy was active in development system and was working fine without any error.
Please provide some help, what need to be done to fix this issue

Try with the following steps in sequence:
1. Re-genarate the proxy in Development - Create a New Transport Reuest.
2. Transport the Proxy from PI Dev to PI OA
3. Confirm the Proxy in PI QA and then, transport the re-generated Request from ECC Dev to ECC QA.

Problem in setting participant in business rule

I am facing problem while setting the target participant in business rule. I want to route the task to the target participant for the adhoc routing in serial process .It's not taking the value as participant name.
I have 5 participant for approve d task .But when I am writing
If PreviousOutcome.outcome=="'REJECT'"
then
call GOTO(participant:"CTU")
as CTU is one of the participant in the process.
But it gives the error while deploying the application as unknown participant .Please tell me how come I route to different participant as per the condition in serial routing.

I will connect to server and monitor the remote server JVM , There is a object of User, I want to change its value by the Java Debugger Interface by client.
so how to set its value by the client, and I can not got the User bean at client.

ObjectReference.setValue() is the method for chaining the value of an Object's field. First you need to find the specific Object you want to change, though.
