Problem in spooling a file

Question

Hello ,
I am having some problem in spooling a file i am using a single script that connect to different user to fetch a data i am using html to spool a file.
whenever it connect to different user it show message "connected " in spool file .
Is their any method to remove this message coming in spool file .

I am using oracle 9i it is not working there .
Command which i am using is given below.
set markup html on;
spool on;
set feed off;
spool C:\Temp\vinesh.xls;
select EMPLOYEE_ID,FIRST_NAME from employees
where rownum<2;
set markup html off ;
spool off;
conn dotsoft/abcd1212@dot
set markup html on;
spool on;
set feed off;
spool C:\Temp\vinesh.xls APPEND;
select unique_id_no EMPLOYEE_ID,customer_name FIRST_NAME
from working_lines where rownum<2;
set markup html off ;
spool off;
it is only working for 1st connection showing error for 2nd connection.
