Problem in Standard Include

I have a requirement like I have SO10 include(That include in French language),It is used in Script, But I am not able to see the output same as So10 include, Insted of displaying the ' charecter it is displaying the # Charecter.

Tell me tell you about a scenario that I faced.
I worked in a Poland Client and the script output was always filled with special characters.
The steps followed to rectify this were :
1) 4 Polish fonts were installed.
2) In control panel of the system , in Regional & Lang options , the Location and Format was changed.
3) The keyboard settings was changed to Polish Keyboad.
4) Before logging into the particular client , The language preferences (Available in Advanced setting) was changed accordingly.
5) The System itself was logged in PL(polish) language.
Once all this was done , the script output was displayed properly with no weird characters.
Maybe yours is also a similar issue.
Do try and let me know if it works for you.

Well, cout was just a a simple example. I was having problems with using the std C++ libraries, e.g ostringstream . and likes .
I tried using the -lCstd in the compile option and it worked.

After upgrading from SAP 4.7 E to ECC 6.0, we have facing few problem in execution of Reports..
Main problem is that, it called Standard INCLUDES..

Syntax check error in the standard include

I have modified one standard include using access key to insert one logic as per businness requirements.Now after inserting that code iam getting syntax error but while activating it is not showing the error and getting activated.

now it is throwing error saying that LFAMTV doesn't exist...when I double click on that it is taking me to the FM RV_INVOICE_VIEW_2 where it is defined....
Can anyone know the reason why it is throwing the error when we go for the syntax check but when u activate the program it is getting activated.. so can this error can be neglected?

First comment ur code and then activate the include.
Now put a break point in the form and then in the debug mode check the structre LFAMTV is visible or not.
if yes then once again add ur code and then activate the whole program.
and now once again debug it and see...., whether the values are updated to the strurure LFAMTV.

How to exclude the standard Include programs in Code Inspector?

I am running code inspector (SCi) on all the development objects using a package. But in certain repository objects standard include programs have been used. I want to exclude the standard include programs while running SCI on the package. What are the ways to achieve this?

while defining an object set choose:(in the menu)
Edit - Exclude View Maintenance Function Groups.
This should exclude most or at least some of the includes from being checked.

Problem extending standard ViewReceiptsSearchVO view object with logic on get method

I am trying to extend the 3 VOs related to ViewReceiptsSearch. I extended a seeded ViewReceiptsSearchVO view object. I haven't made any changes yet, no columns added, nothing altered. When I run this substitution, the "Received" column is null. This column in the view used for the view object only selects NULL and uses the getter method for the attribute to populate the value. The generated extension getter calls getAttributeInternal and skips the logic in the standard getter and the substituted view object is displaying the null in the screen. The below discussion explains the problem very well except that the original posted had the issue in 11.5.10.2. I am having this issue with 12.1.3.

Problem using jsp:include from inside a custom tag

          I have a problem using <jsp:include> from inside a custom tag. Exception is:
          "java.lang.ClassCastException: weblogic.servlet.jsp.BodyContentImpl"
          Apparently, weblogic tries to cast BodyContentImpl to JspWriterImpl and
          could not do this. Is it a bug, since in the 1.1 spec is said: "The
          BodyContent is a subclass of JspWriter that can be used to process body
          evaluations so they can retrieved later on."

This is an area of contention with WL. It is not so tolerant with regards to
          the spec. I spent several days recently trying to convince it to accept the
          specification in regards to bodies and includes and it appears to have
          successfully rebuffed my efforts.
          Frankly, this is very disappointing. It appears that some shortcuts were
          taken on the way to JSP 1.1 support, and the result is a very hard-coded,
          inflexible implementation. As I have not seen the implementation myself, I
          hate to assume this, however one could posit that the term "interface" was a
          foreign concept during the implementation, other than as some annoying
          intermediary reference requiring an immediate cast to a specific Weblogic
          class, which in turn is apparently required to be final or have many final
          methods, as if being optimized for a JDK 1.02 JIT.
          I am sorry that I don't have any positive suggestions other than to use a
          URL object to come back in an execute the necessary "include" directly. You
          lose all context (other than session) and that can cause its own problems.
          However, you can generally get the URL approach to work, and you will
          hopefully avoid further frustration.

Problem in standard workflow of claims in ESS

Hi ,
I am functional consultant and I am facing problem in standard workflow of claims WS18900023 .
When approver clicks on approve button it gives message that ' Validation is succesful 'and it does not get approved.
When approver clicks on Approve button it should say that request has been approved and that workiten should go from his inbox but this is not happening .That workitem still shows in his inbox with same status of to be approved .
Kinldy help in resolving this issue .

I assue that you have activated the BADI GET_NEXT_APPROVER.
Follow these steps.
=> Request for claims from portal.
=> Then in SAP run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_ACRP and check the request status. It should show as To Be Approved.
=> Then logon as manager and approve the request from UWL.
=> Now agian in SAP run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_ACRP and check the request status. It should show as Approved. ( If your maintaining Multi level approval process status will be Partially Approved).
=> Once it shows status Approved, Run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_INFU, it will show the list of requests to be update in IT0015.

Problem in Standard CO Reports

I'm facing a problem in Standard Controlling Reports, when generating reports such as S_ALR_87013011 known as Orders: Actual/Plan Variance, the currency displayed was "Value in report currency", now we need to change it to "Value in object currency".
How will I change it?

Please check if this can be changed in Layout setting. Pick up the fields from hide area to display area.
However, you go to OKKP settings and see what is the controlling area currency has been used.
Please note that changing the controlling area currency at this would have its own complications at this stage. Go through the relevant notes before changing controlling area currency.

I want to add 4 to 5 standard includes. If iam adding it it says report or program already exists.
Can anyone tell me is it possible or we can modify the only the data which is coming to that function module .

The data needed for those includes are also exist in the funtion module exit. I want to add those includes and in one include just i want to add some 10 to 15 lines of code. Is it possible.
If i include all those includes inside the function exit it says report or program name already exists. When i double clicked on the error it takes me to a line in 1 include which has function-pool statement.
How can i eradicate this error.

Problems with standard checkings

Hi,
We'd like to know if someone has worked in a proyect with two different Systems S1 and S2, data cannot be copied (transfered) from one to the other but we must check data from system S1 refering to data in tables in system S2.
This scenario is a problem when standard checkings are done in the tables, due to of course checkings are done over tables of current system.
Do anybody know how to manage standar checkings in current system S1 to allow the checkings against tables in system S2?

Character problems with xsql:include-xsql reparse="yes"

I have a problem retrieving XML-fragments from CLOB columns.
Danish ISO-8859-1 characters (aelig, oslash, aring) are returned as "?" from Apache/Jserv when using xsql:include-xsql reparse="yes".
My platform is Solaris9/Oracle-9.2.0.2/XDK-9.2.0.4.
Database characterset is we8iso8859p1.
I'm using the Apache/Jserv that comes with Oracle 9.2.0.1.

Running test.xsql works fine with XSQL command-line, but FAILS through Apache/Jserv (danish characters are returned as "?").
inc.xsql works fine through XSQL command-line and Apache/Jserv, problem only happens with xsql:include-xsql reparse="yes" (e.g. test.xsql).
xsql:include-xml works fine, but I cannot use this, bca. in my real business case I'm selecting more than one row from the database.
I've checked and double-checked my jserv.properties several times, and believes it to be correct.

If I put the following line in jserv.properties:
wrapper.env=LANG=en_US.ISO8859-1
the problem with xsql:include-xsql reparse="yes" seems to go away.
Really strange, since Oracle products in my experience normally only uses NLS_LANG, not LANG.
Also, we're accessing several databases with different charactersets from the same ApacheJserv installation, so I don't understand why LANG (or NLS_LANG) should be set to a particular value.
Can anybody explain ?

Standard include

Can we include standard includes in our custom function group?

actually yes, you can do that, and you do not have to copy them first.
Tho, be aware that these includes are then again SAP standard, and changes to them are modifications.
So if you plan to have the functionality of a standard include, but have to change something in the way it works, then better copy them first.
But then again you need to check after every upgrade or hotpackage installation, if the standard included was added new funtionality which you also need, since those wont be reflected in your copied Z-include.
