Please Help

Hi Dips,
First of all i havent declared any such method (getPrimaryKey()) in local interface I had only declared only hello() method for which i had provided the implementation.
Secondly i am making a simple stateless session bean and the methods in the error (such as getPrimaryKey()) are there for the entity beans (accoring to my little knowledge about ejb) so why is it giving me such a error..
Thanks
Saurabh

  • Problem with clientgen task in weblogic 9.0

    hi,
    While developing webservices for our project, we used the clientgen ant task for generating the artifacts on the client side. I'm getting trouble in returning a collection of objects (list, vector) from the server to the client. When i try to do so, the clientgen task tries to create a java.util package on the client side in which it creates a List class which basically contains an object array with getter-setter. What i want is for the sun java collections classes to be used instead. The above problem applies to both user-defined as well as built-in objects i.e. say a list of objects of type T or a list of Strings. If someone, has any pointers regarding the same plz help...

              Try limiting the length of the session id.
              This is in either the weblogic.xml/web.xml
              files. You can get the dtd in the 6.0 doc.

    There are no known issues wrt to startup classes that are particular to the HP environment. The only advice I can offer is to make sure that if there are command line parameters that must be passed to the ORB.init call, that you are correctly passing these; to confirm with HP that they support (or
    require) the use of the orb.properties file to specify the names of the ORBSingleton; and, try to use the orb.properties file to configure the orb implementation.

    Hello,
    I have problem with complete task via email. I found this blog very useful (http://blogs.adobe.com/ADEP/2010/11/how-to-complete-a-task-via-email-using-reply-to-comple te.html), but...

    Hi Diana, thanks for your reply.
    You're probably right about 2 different error messages.
    To the 1st one: I'm sure that status task is Assigned (to me). I received an email and I also reply on that email.
    To error log: I found out that error log appears when I enable email endpoint on Complete Task service. But I managed to solve this problem. I set wrong user. Now I have here the same user as is written in login-config.xml so log seems to be ok.
    So I created new task and tried to complete it via email. Now I receive email with another error:

  • Servicegen ant task in weblogic 10.3

    Hi,
    Could you please let me know , the werbservice related ant tasks from weblogic 8.1 (say servicegen)
    are supported in weblogic 10.3 ?
    I am in a process of migrating application from 8.1 to 10.3. For building the application I am using 'ant'.
    Thanks,
    Sajan CR

    Apparently the ant tasks are no longer described on the oracle doc pages as they were on the bea pages.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/programming/overview.html#using_ant
    "To view the documentation for a specific version of Ant, such as the version included with WebLogic Server, download the Ant zip file from http://archive.apache.org/dist/ant/binaries/ and extract the documentation."

  • Problem with remove task from schedule in PWA

    In our environment problem with remove task from schedule by PWA.
    Problem is only when I want to remove few task in the same time, but the operation one by one is correct.
    In my opinion problem is with calculation schedule after remove tasks, column ID include wrong value it means that Number ID does not generate in the correct order same of numer
    disappear. Click Calculate button on ribbon causes problem with finshed operation and save project.
    Problem occurs only machine with IE 11.0 browser without compability mode, on other machine for example on the same project with IE 8,9,10 everything is correct.
    Problem appeared recently, earlier everything was OK.
    Txn, Dariusz Moczyński

    Hi Darius,
    I'm a bit confused. You are now talking about 2 issues.
    For the first one, you cannot edit anymore tasks in PWA, with any browser versions? Is it happenonog for any users on any projects? Try the following solutions publish the project from Project Pro and see if it helps. Press CTRL F5 to delete IE cache. Ensure
    that your PWA URL is added to the trusted site and/or compatibility sites. Check for the ULS logs or javascript errors.
    For the second issue, please refer to my previous reply, this obviously cannot be considered as a bug since it is happening with a non supported browser version and working properly on supported versions of IE.
    Hope this helps,

  • Problem with protocol.jar with weblogic

    atg10.0.3 and weblogic 11g on 64bit linux.
    I've been plagued by this problem with ATG's protocol jar. While it loads the jar when starting up startWeblogic.sh it does not get loaded when starting a managed server thus i get the following errors:
    **** Error Fri Jun 15 15:56:43 MDT 2012 1339797403444 / Unable to start service "/atg/scenario/ScenarioManager": atg.nucleus.ServiceException: The configuration file XMLFile(/atg/scenario/scenarioManager.xml) could not be read: java.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: dynamosystemresource

The process manager has not been classified yet so it cannot be determined if global messages should be listened for. This error indicates a problem with component startup order - the /atg/scenario/ScenarioManager component has been started before the /atg/dynamo/messaging/MessagingManager component

    Following instructions has led me to place the protocol.jar from DAS/lib to the root of my domain directory and then apply the classpath entry in startWeblogic.sh script. protocol.jar shows up at the top of this scripts SDTOUT. But I cannot seem to get it included in the production.out logs when starting the managed server.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!
    -Kip

    Yes I figured this out. The problem was the version of weblogic. I was using 1.3.6 when it should have been 1.3.5. After changing out the version, I no longer had problems with protocol.jar.
    Thanks!

  • Problem Using wlserver task in ant file

    I am trying to create a weblogic domain using the following in my ant file:
    <target name="new-server">
    <mkdir dir="/opt/deployment/domains" />
    <wlserver dir="/opt/deployment/domains"
    beahome="/opt/bea"
    domainname="SandboxDomain"
    servername="AdminServer"
    host="localhost" port="7001"
    generateConfig="true"
    username="weblogic" password="password"
    productionmodeenabled="false"
    action="start" failonerror="true" />
    </target>
    However, I keep getting the following exception:
    [wlserver] Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/Server
    I am executing the ant script by placing the weblogic.jar file in the lib directory of ant. I am also using ant version 1.6.2. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    Had the same problem, try adding the classpath attribute to the wlserver tasks.
    example:
    <wlserver dir="${SERVER_DOMAINS}/test_domain"
    beahome="${SERVER_ROOT}"
    weblogichome="${SERVER_WEBLOGIC_HOME}"
    generateConfig="true"
    host="localhost"
    port="6001"
    username="${WEBLOGIC_USER}"
    password="${WEBLOGIC_PASSWORD}"
    servername="testServer"
    action="start"
    classpath="<wl_installdir>\server\lib\weblogic.jar">

    Hi,
    I have a problem starting the Nodemanager successfully. I have currently installed BEA Weblogic 10.0 MP1. The admin server is getting started successfully. When, I start the Nodemanager with the command:

    After this, when I check the nodemanager status in Console, then the status appears as REACHABLE. Assuming, this to be the successfully message, I try to start the managed servers associated with the Machine/Server. But, it fails and there appears a message on the console with the status as 'Force Shutting Down' for this server.
    When I check the logs, there seems to be some problem with the Nulll exception. Please see the below logs as it appears, its only a part of the logs

    The error appears to come from the ariba code. I suggest asking them.

  • Problem with Automated Tasks

    Hi all,
    At this moment I'm testing a cartridge deployed in OSM7 that is installed in Solaris Spark. The cartridge contains processes that include Automated Tasks with XQuery Sender Automator Internal to send a message to a queue JMS. In some of the Automated Task, when try to execute de XQuery Sender doesn't occur anything, the message is not putted in the queue and in the log doesn't appear any error.
    I created 3 orders in OSM, and checking all the WebLogic console I can see the next:
    1. In the worklist of OSM appear the 3 orders with column "State=Received" and doesn't have anything in the column "User", (I think this mean that the automator has not started).
    2. In the WebLogic console -> JMSModules -> "oms_jms_module" -> "oms_events" ->Monitoring, I can see 3 messages "Pending" that correspond to each order created.
    3. The Orchestration Plan "Seen in the osmwebui" is OK.
    Note1: When I test the same cartridge deployed in OSM7 installed in Windows I don't have the problem.
    Note2: This doesn't occur always, sometimes the JMS Message is putted in the queue and the flow of the order continues in the right way.
    Thanks a lot for any suggestion.

    Ramiro;
    From what you are describing, it sounds as if the automation plugin is not deployed - hence the reason why the task you are intending to automate just stays in the received state.
    I would suggest you start by undeploying and then redeploying your cartridge.
    Of course this doesn't explain your Note2, but worth trying the above in any case.
    Can you tell me how you are submitting the order and what release of OSM you are on?
    Thanks,
    Brian.

  • Configure myfaces 1.2.7 problem on JDeveloper 11 and Weblogic 10.3 server

    Hi all,
    1st I'm not sure if that the right place or not to send this post(if not please accept my apologize)
    I'd like to use myfaces 1.2.7 implementation instead of the JSF Library provided by Jdeveloper 11
    That's the Jar files I used :-
    myfaces-api-1.2.7 ,
    myfaces-impl-1.2.7,
    commons-beanutils-1.7.0,
    commons-codec-1.3 ,
    commons-collections-3.2,
    commons-digester-1.8,
    commons-discovery-0.4,
    commons-el-1.0,
    commons-fileupload-1.0,
    commons-lang-2.1,
    commons-logging-1.1.1,
    commons-validator-1.3.1
    glassfish.jstl_1.2.0.1(JSTL 1.2 library of Jdeveloper)
    javax.servlet_1.0.0_2-5 ,javax.jsp_1.1.0.0_2-1,glassfish.el_2.1.0 (JSP runtime library of Jdevloper)
    weblogic-injection-provider
    and that's the web.xml file
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'windows-1252'?>
    <web-app xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd"

    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>FacesServlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>*.jsf</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    </web-app>
    and ofcourse I registered the taglib of myfaces implementation on Jdeveloper
    But I got the following Exception

    what I have missed?where is the problem ? some jar files need to be added for the project or modified ,or there's some problem for the integration between Myfaces 1.2.7 and Jdeveloper 11???

    Looks like WLS can't find the FacesServlet java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlethave you checked if the jar containing the FacesServlet is deployed to the WLS?

  • Solution for the Problem decribed in Craig's Weblog

    Hi SDN Members,
    Craigs Weblog: "INPUT TYPE="FILE" and your options..."
    /people/sap.user72/blog/2004/08/11/input-typefile-and-your-options
    Summarizes forum posts about the following problem:
    <i>" ... a common task that many web developers have to deal with. They have to create an upload form and let the user select a file from the local computer. This is handled quite nicely by the HTML form element input type="file", however most of you that have used this know that it creates a text field and a button together and the text for the button is generated automatically. This automatic generation of text is connected to the browser and you have no control over it."</i>
    Double points for the one who comes up with the solution. (Brian McKellar has thrown in 100 of his own points too
    Looking forward to it, Mark.

    Hello Dagfinn,
    I've just sent you an email with the screen shots and the code I am using. However, as I've stated it doesn't work. We've been trying it on every type of system we can find here and it just doesn't work.
    <html>
      <head>
        <script type="text/javascript">
        //Function which fills the fake form's input field
        function fillFakeForm()
               document.forms['fakeForm'].myFileText.value= document.forms['realForm'].file.value;
        </script>
        <!--The transparency is set in the fileUpload class-->
        <style type="text/css">
         .fileUpload {
            -moz-opacity:0 ;
            filter:alpha(opacity: 0);
            -khtml-opacity: 0;
        </style>
      </head>
      <body>
        <!--Real form. Must have higher z-index than fake form-->
        <span style="position: absolute; top: 10px; left: 10px;z-index: 1;">
          <form name="realForm" method="post" ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data">
            <!--The file upload uses the css class defined previously and defines two event handlers-->
            <input type="file" class="fileUpload"  name="file" onkeyup="fillFakeForm();" onmouseout="fillFakeForm();">
            <input type="submit">
          </form>
        </span>
        <!--Fake form which should be visible. Must have lower z-index than the real form-->
        <span style="position: absolute; top: 10px; left: 10px; z-index: 0;">
          <form name="fakeForm">
            <input type="text" name="myFileText">
            <!--This image is the graphics replacing the browse button-->
            <img src="<%=CL_BSP_MIMES=>SAP_ICON( id = 'ICON_EDIT_FILE' ) %>" border="0">
          </form>
        </span>
      </body>
    </html>
    That is the code we've been trying that works for Brian, but not for us. I've tried it in different broswer on a BSP page as well as a normal HTML page.

    Thanks a lot for your reply,
    This is actually a newly installed server Kalyan.Any ways I did what you suggested ,still same issue no change.
    By the way , even though the stack trace shows like that, I didn't deployed any application . I am first trying to create datasource , once every thing completed successfully then I can deploy the app.
    Thanks a lot

  • Problem deploying adf app to weblogic

    I've successfully migrated a 10.1.3.4 adf application to 11.1.1.2.0 and can run it on the integrated wls. However, I can't deploy/install to my standalone wls (10.3.2) without getting the following error during deployment/installation of the .ear:
    An error occurred during activation of changes, please see log for details - (Class not found) javax.faces.webapp.ConverterELTag
    or at times i'll see a similar error message:
    An error occurred during activation of changes, please see log for details - (Class not found) javax.faces.component.UIComponent
    I've built the .ear file via jdev and I've installed the adf runtime libraries in the wls domain that I'm trying to deploy to. Also, from what I can gather, this has something to do with the jsf-api.jar, since those classes referenced above belong to that jar. I can see that library (jsf(1.2,1.2.9.0)) is installed on the wls domain/target that I'm deploying to. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks.

    I'm still unsuccessful at creating the app server connection, even after choosing weblogic 9.xx as you suggested. On one of the screens of the wizard, it asks for a Target Node value. I've only set up the AdminServer 'target' in this wls domain, so that's the value I used as the Target Node value. When I use the Test Connection button, I see nothing that tells me the connection was successful or not. If you have any more ideas or have tried this yourself and got it to work I'd like to hear about it. But, since you said this combination was not supported, I'm not sure I'm going to go that route anyhow at this point. Thanks for the help.
