Problem Migrating to Bt Infinty from Zen Fibre lit...

Received Mac code from Zen 30/1/13 and passed to BT with my order 4/2/13. Broadband activated as estimate 11/2/13 and continued until 14/2/13. On 15/2/13 reported loss of internet access as fault. Eventually BT advised that the order was cancelled as a result of Zen using the Mac code they issued to claim back the service. Zen state this is not possible, so what to do now to resolve issue I am not sure. Any suggestions welcome.

    Hi all,
I am having problems migrating my Toplink Workbench project from 9.0.4.5 to 10.1.3.1.0! I used the Toplink Workbench to open and convert the existing project. The conversion succeeded, but when I tried to export the mappings I got this:

  • Problems migrating contacts' phone numbers from droid HTC to droid 4.

Hello- Advice please. Just bought Droid 4. Set up FB and Gmail accounts with no problems. Contacts migrated from Droid HTC. EXCEPT contact's actual phone numbers. Anyway of getting these numbers back? Thanks!

that's one of the reasons i use backup assistant, for folks with phone numbers & no email from way back, before the upgrade to the droid x in dec '10.
if the numbers were in ba, they should be there. i've used ba for years without any problems.
ba won't do a backup if a contact is in gmail contacts.

    Hi A Jarrett,
    Thanks for your reply.
I sugegst you will need to check if if
these files can be created in VS2013.
Since the VS2008 is really old version, and generally we open an old project with the closed VS version, for example, I sugegst you could check whether you could open all files in VS2010, and then test it with VS2013.
In addition, I suggest you can try to open the your project solution using File | Open Project... and then pass the path to the solution project file check this issue again.
I find a similar thread about how to convert project from old version VS to VS2013, you can try the jsck's suggestion to check your issue.

  • Problem migrating from 10.5 to 10.6 mail server: cvt_cyrusdb does not exist!

    The problem
I am migrating a mail server from 10.5 to 10.6 (as the first step to moving to 10.8).
I'm trying to migrate mail from Cyrus to Dovecot, using the command migrate_mail_data.pl but I keep getting the error:
Error: cvt_cyrusdb does not exist in: .
    Background
An example of how to use the command is at:
    http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/dovecot/dovecot-239/dovecot.Config/migrat e_mail_data.pl
    Example: migrate_mail_data.pl --cyrusBin "/Volumes/Tiger/usr/bin/cyrus/bin" --database "/Volumes/Tiger/var/imap" --sourceSpool "/Volumes/Tiger/var/spool/imap" --targetSpool "/Library/Server/Mail/Data/mail "
    So, the syntax is:
sudo [location of migrate_mail_data.pl command] --moveMail 0 --cyrusbin "[location of cvt_cyrusdb binary]" -- database "[location of original mail database] "--sourceSpool "[location of original spool files]" --targetSpool "[location of destination files]"
    Locating my files
    Locate all of my files:
    sudo find / -name migrate_mail_data.pl
    /usr/libexec/dovecot/migrate_mail_data.pl
    sudo find / -name cvt_cyrusdb
    /usr/bin/cyrus/bin/cvt_cyrusdb
--database files are at the default location:
    /private/var/imap
--sourceSpool files are at the default location:
    /private/var/spool/imap
    --targetSpool is set for:
    "Volumes/Iomega1TB/121014/121005Dovecot/mail"
    What I've tried
So, I've tried the following commands (and many other variations!):
    sudo /usr/libexec/dovecot/migrate_mail_data.pl --moveMail 0 --cyrusbin "/usr/bin/cyrus/bin" -- database "/var/imap" --sourceSpool "/var/spool/imap" --targetSpool "Volumes/Iomega1TB/121014/121005Dovecot/mail"
    sudo /usr/libexec/dovecot/migrate_mail_data.pl --moveMail 0 --cyrusbin "/usr/bin/cyrus/bin/" -- database "/var/imap/" --sourceSpool "/var/spool/imap/" --targetSpool "Volumes/Iomega1TB/121014/121005Dovecot/mail/"
    sudo /usr/libexec/dovecot/migrate_mail_data.pl --moveMail 0 --cyrusbin /usr/bin/cyrus/bin/ -- database /var/imap/ --sourceSpool /var/spool/imap/ --targetSpool "Volumes/Iomega1TB/121014/121005Dovecot/mail/"
    sudo /usr/libexec/dovecot/migrate_mail_data.pl --moveMail 0 --cyrusbin /usr/bin/cyrus/bin -- database /var/imap --sourceSpool /var/spool/imap --targetSpool "Volumes/Iomega1TB/121014/121005Dovecot/mail/"
All give me the same error:
Error: cvt_cyrusdb does not exist in: .
    Interpretation
The error message tells me (perhaps I'm misunderstanding!) that there is a problem with this part of the command:
    --cyrusbin "/usr/bin/cyrus/bin"
because that's what defines the path to  cvt_cyrusdb
But 'Find' has told me the location of that cvt_cyrusdb command and I can see it in the GUI, too!
    Help!
    What am I doing wrong?
    With thanks in anticipation,
    Kevin

    Thanks for your advice, MrHoffman.
I was trying to avoid taking the mail server down for more than a few minutes so wanted to:
    a. clone and migrate the server configuration to the new machine
    b. take server offline
    c. copy data to new machine and convert it from Cyrus to Dovecot
    d. take server online
Due to the problem with converting the data, it looks like my only option will be to take the mail server down for some hours while I perform all of those operations.
I was really hoping that there might be a simple answer to invoking the cvt_cyrusdb command!
Can anyone tell me how I might fix that?
    Kevin

  • Problem migrating account from one active directory domain to another. Using NetBIOS

    Hello,
I'm migrating a Lion machine from one domain to another. When I try to join it to abc.example.com it joines it to 123.example.com in the list of domains. 123.example.com is the NetBIOS name of abc.example.com. This configuration does not work.
What is even more strange, is if I go into the Open Directory Utility > Active Directory to set the create mobile account settings, once I apply the settings (or even if I don't apply the settings) when I get back to the list of domains, it show BOTH abc.example.com and 123.example.com as domains I am joined to. If I remove 123.example.com it removes abc.example.com.
I've only seen this problem one other time and this was with a snow leopard machine that was not bound to AD. I upgraded it to Lion and tried to bind it, and had the exact same thing occur.
I'm certain there is a "stuck" setting somewhere that is causing this. I have had successful snow leopard > lion upgrades work, and many lion machines joined to AD so this does work normally. Just not sure whats wrong or really where to look.
The OS is fully patched and updated to the current version.
    Any thoughts?

    Case 1:
Here you can written pre-update event handler which will check whether minor and major org code changed or not.
If changed then first starts de-provisioning and then start provisioning.
If not changed then do nothing.
This approach will not transfer accounts from one domain to another but it will create fresh accounts and remove accounts from old domain.
    Case2:
If you want to transfer accounts from one domain to another in that on pre-update you have to change OU of user on process which automatically move to another domain.
but not sure about exchange it is possible to move to another domain.
hopping that all domains under same forest otherwise same Connector Sever will not work.

The error message goes as below:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.faces.taglib.jsf_core.BeanValidatorTagIs it in classpath? Exception says it is not.
Don't you have some JSF 1.2 libraries around somewhere else in classpath? Appserver/lib? JDK/lib? Etc. You might have a mix of JSF 1.2 and JSF 2.0 in the classpath and the exception is just been caused by this collision.

  • Problems migrating from edir 8.7.3 to 8.8

    Hi,
I need to do a hardware replace for a Netware 6.5 sp 8 server. This
server has edir 8.7.3.10. I loaded a new Proliant server with NW6.5 sp
8 to migrate to. The new server has edir 8.8 on it. The Migration
Wizzard guide says there can be problems migrating from NW6.5 from an
    edir 8.7 to 8.8.
I tried to install the new server using the [INST: spedir] option
    specifie in this article
    (http://www.novell.com/communities/no...edirectory-873)
    but the server keeps crashing.
Can I mirgate my old server edir 8.7.3 to the new one 8.8 using the
Migration Wizzard? If not is there any other way to force an install
    of edir 8.7.3?
    thanks

You could upgrade your eDir on the "original" server to 8.8
I've done that before without any problems.
(obviously this doesn't guarantee it will go right/well). Always have a complete backup of the .dib set (I use the dsrepair -rc on NetWare) as well as a "snapshot" of teh NetWare server if possible (ours is on the SAN, so I can clone the system disk before I do anything to it).

  • Problem migrating to new Mac mini Server from Time Machine Backup

I sell my old Mac mini Server and after I purchase the new one (unibody). I had the Time Machine Backup but I'm not able to restore it to the new mac mini. I started it with the Server Install DVD into it and I went to Utility menu to choose "*Restore from Time Machine backup*" but it said that *it was not possible to restore the backup to this machine because its a different hardware, and suggested to use Migration*. So I restarted it and when it asked me to choose between "setting up a new server" or "transfer information from an existing server" I chose this last. In the next menu didn't appear any Time Machine backups so I mounted the time machine backup and copied the Latest hd backup to an external firewire hd and I connected it to the new one. In the migration menu list appeared my backup but there was a *yellow triangle icon* over it and the message "*Migration is not supported from servers which are configured to use dynamic network addresses. Configure the source system to have a manual network address and try again*". But how can I config a static address into my backup if I can't restore it into a machine? I don't have anymore the old mac mini to restore the backup and make any change in the configuration!
Any one can please help or give me suggestions?
    Many thanks

    I solved it!
I changed the network settings by editing /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
So I successfully restored my SL server installation, but now I have an issue with Ethernet and SD reader. See this post if you are interested:

  • HT4889 I have accidentally created another account when using Migration Assistant to a new MBA. How do I now 'migrate' all the files from both accounts into one to save myself having two accounts, both of which are me? Help?

I have accidentally created another account when using Migration Assistant to a new MBA. I have read that I probably should not have skipped migration in the initial set up and the problem would have been avoided but, alas, here I am. Does anyone know how I can 'migrate' all the files from one of the accounts that has been created to the other, so then I can delete it and have a single user on the computer seeing as I am the only person using it? I have read starting again, if this is the way to go, where is the best place to start 'starting again'?

Yes definitely should see it but its not coming up (I don't think) when I log out of 2nd user and into the main account. Opening finder in the 2nd account, I can obviously find the public folder because thats where I dropped all the files, but when in the main account, it can't be found. The only public folder that comes up is the folder for that account (main account) and it does not display files I'm looking for. Frustrating....
EDIT: Have found it through a round-about way but all music and photo and movie etc files have a red stop sign disallowing them from being transferred. Can you guess what the next question will be?

  • How can I migrate an Aperture library from an external HDD with Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted) format?

How can I migrate an Aperture library from an external HDD with Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted) format?
I used to store my pictures on an external hard drive using the latest version of Aperture. Now I tried migrating my Aperture library to Photos. However, after a short moment an error message popped up telling me that "Photos was unable to make a copy of your library before preparing it. Photos does not have the necessary permissions...".
My external HDD doesn't need any permission repairs nor is the system prohibited to read from or write to it.
Thanks for any advice in advance!

My guess is that the encryption is the problem for the new app.

  • Help: Problem migrating to 9052 or 1012

    Hello You Experts,
I have a BC4J/JSP application originally developed in Jdev 902. It has been in production for a while already, and has been migrated all way through 9034 and 9041 (build 1436). This is a relatively simple application, only BC4J is involved, no Stunts, no UIX or anything else. It works pretty well so far. However, I am having problem migrating it into 10g now. I got the same error (see below) with either Jdev 9052 (build 1618) or 1012 (build 1811). It opens (migrated by the Wizard), and compiles without any error. It actually runs and I have got to the login page. And then it’s throws an NoSuchMethodError exception upon login. My application supports dynamic credentials. The debug output indicates that it could not get the internal connection, though the user connection was successful. Any ideals for this error are greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Vishal,
    Hello,
Unfortunately WLS 6.1 is not supported on Solaris 10. Also as of Nov 14, 2005 WLS 6.1 entered the mature phase and will be no longer supported by BEA.

  • Error while migrating Applet Swing components from JRE1.5.13 to JRE 1.6.05

We have planned to migrate the Applet screens from JRE 1.5.13 to JRE 1.6.05 browser,
but the APPLET files are still compiled using JDK 1.5.
If any of you have had experience in this migration ,let me know the issues
    you have encountered.
One problem which i understood through one of the thread
from this site is performance is really bad with JRE 1.6 browsers.
Please share the other issues which i need to take care.
    Thanks in advance

Your best way to check is to test the applet (as is, without any changes or recompilation) using a browser running a 1.6 JRE.
Is the applet publicly available? If so, what is the URL? (I have a couple of browsers here, all using 1.6.)

  • CS2 migration to Intel imac from G4mini

    Hello
I know just enough about this migration thing to be dangerous so I wondered if anyone has had success transferring/migrating CS2 from a PPC to Intel imac (mini=Tiger & imac=Leopard) and can help me out. I have read Kappy's instructions & pretty much get it ....but I have sweaty palms about it. All I really want to migrate is Photoshop (could probably find the serial # but don't have a disk). Are there hidden CS2 files other places that I need to be transferring etc. or are all the things that I need to transfer in the CS2 applications folder?
Also, using a firewire connection means needing a special cable with the 2 ends being the same? Sorry if these seem like basic questions. Please advise!
    Thanks ahead of time...
    Beth

    Hi macBeth08 -
Yes, you'll need a 6 pin to 6 pin firewire cable with both ends the same like this one -
    http://www.usbcable.com/94-4466.jpg
I must admit when I transferred my G4 Powerbook over to my new iMac I had major problems with CS2. Although I wasn't going from an OS9 version, I had similar error messages to this poster -
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7295227&#7295227
Note on the link above what George Peters says - that CS2 isn't Intel native nor fully supported under Leopard. CS3 runs very well though and your best option would be upgrading to that if you can.
Because I had problems migrating all of my Adobe CS3 apps over, I ended up re-installing them from the original disks and re-entering the serial numbers. Now they run fine.

  • Migration on active directory from 2003 to 2008 and SharePoint error Cannot connect to the configuration database.

    Hi all,
In advance i`m thankful for your help,
I come across a problem while migrating the Active Directory from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2,
SharePoint 2010 is getting this error Cannot connect to the configuration database. The same goes for the Administrative page,
Nothing is change in the MySql database, same log in, same server name, i guess it have something to do with the SharePoint Farm,
My question is will reinstalling the SharePoint do the job? Or is there an easy way to get back on my old track?
I`ve try to sync users... no good
    PS C:\Users\administrator.SERVERM> if($configManager.IsSynchronizationRunning()
    -eq $false)
    >> {
    >> $configManager.StartSynchronization($true)
    >> Write-Host "Started Synchronizing"
    >> }
    >> else
    >> {
    >> Write-Host "Already Synchronizing"
    >> }
    >>
Can someone explain a little bit more about this:
    6.
Can they talk to each other?
Verify that SharePoint is using the correct IP address for the SQL server. To do this, run the ping command on the Windows SharePoint Services server.
Verify that the SharePoint server is obtaining the correct IP address for the SQL server from DNS. To do this, run the
nslookup command from the SharePoint Server.
Make sure that there are no incorrect entries for the SQL server. To do this, examine the Hosts file on the SharePoint server. This file is in the following location:
    %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts
On the SharePoint server, look for SQL client aliases. To do this, follow these steps: Click
Start, click Run, and then type cliconfg in the
    open box.
Click the Alias tab. By default, there are no SQL client aliases. If you have any aliases for the SQL server, verify that they are correct, or remove them.
Open the SQL Server Configuration Manager (Start SQL Server 2008  Configuration Tools  SQL Server Configuration Manager
Navigate to the SQL Server Network Configuration  Protocols for MSSQLSERVER node in the tree view
Enable TCP/IP and Named Pipes (you’ll be warned that these changes will not apply until the service is shut down)

    Hiya,
I don't think it is necessary to reinstall.
You should just confirm that your basic infrastructure is working.
1: On the SharePoint server, open cmd and write ping <SQL server name>
2: On the SharePoint server, open cmd and write nslookup <SQL server name>
Basically the steps outlined here, is the best way to start:
    6.
Can they talk to each other?
Verify that SharePoint is using the correct IP address for the SQL server. To do this, run the ping command on the Windows SharePoint Services server.
