Firefox uses its own PDF viewer, not the Adobe Reader plugin. See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-browser-plugin-configuration.html

"you have incomplete swf embedding code"
Ergebnis:
cue.swf
cue.html
Hier das, was ich vorfand:
<body bgcolor="#e7e7e7">
<!--Im Film verwendete URLs-->
<a href="./cue/queue2.swf"></a>
<a href="./cue/queue3.swf"></a>
<a href="javascript: end("document.cue");"></a>

Es müßte vielleicht so aussehen:
<body bgcolor="#e7e7e7">
<!--Im Film verwendete URLs-->
<a href="./cue/queue1.swf"></a> //das Script in cue.swf: loadMovieNum("./cue/queue1.swf", 1);
<a href="./cue/queue2.swf"></a> //d.Script in queue1.swf: on (release){loadMovieNum("./cue/queue2.swf",2);}
//d.Script in queue2.swf: loadMovieNum("./cue/queue10.swf", 3);
<a href="./cue/queue3.swf"></a> //d.Script in queue1.swf: on (release){loadMovieNum("./cue/queue3.swf",2);}
//d.Script in queue3.swf: loadMovieNum("./cue/queue30.swf", 3);
<a href="javascript: end("document.cue");"></a>
<a href="http://www.basiszins.de"></a>
<a href="http://www.onvista.de"></a>
<!--Im Film verwendeter Text-->
<!-- saved from url=(0013)about:internet -->
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
AC_FL_RunContent(

Last edited by ElNinijo (2013-06-08 08:35:12)I've had this happen now and again. You can rebind the lease yourself with:
$ dhcpcd --rebind
You could also try increasing the timeout by adding
TimeoutDHCP=
to your netctl profile/s - see netctl.profile(5) as WonderWoofy suggests. Although I haven't tried the latter.

Problem with CS2 and firefox 3.6x
i have a strange problem arising from a combination of photoshop cs2 and firefox 3.6x browser in XP sp3
when photoshop is minimised to the taskbar and then firefox is minimised, the focus of firefox seems to be passed to photoshop unexpectedly, turning its button dark blue and making it very difficult to maximise photoshop (repeated clicking and swapping of apps sometimes frees it)
has anyone else every experienced anything like this with 3.6?
i have installed 3.5.10 atm which works with no problem at all and holds its own focus when minimised.
SteveNone of those ideas worked. I used the Disk Utility and it indicated that all permissions were OK. I cleared the caches and cookies on Safari and FireFox, and even re-installed FireFox and deleted all of the old files associated with it. Both browsers brought up the Apple support website using the IP address, but neither browser would allow me to log into Apple support to follow this thread. I turned off the Firewall thinking it was the problem. I am running the PC and iMac through a router, then a dsl modem. Could any of those items be the problem?

I have been using Firefox for about two years. For about a month now I have been unable to view any Google advertisements that run on YouTube pages alongside and under videos. This is important for my business. I would like to stay with Firefox, but this is only a problem when I use Firefox and is not a problem with Internet Explorer or Google Chrome as I checked. I tried uninstalling Firefox and all plugs ins and add ons and then reinstalling it. This did not work. Firefox seems to be blocking the Google codes that enable the ads to run on the pages. I look forward to your help. Thank you.
CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

At certain times of the day (usually only late at night), my internet becomes unusable. The websites take so long to load that they just time out (or I give up). It happens periodically in the early evening as well (I just tried to watch a two-minute video and it took me half an hour). I can't tell if the problem is caused by firefox, my computer, or my internet. What can I do to determine where the problem is?
Thanks!You have several issues.

Since the most recent Firefox update 3.6.8 my banking institution no longer shows as having a secure encrypted connection, however, my bank assures me all is well with their certificates and that is a problem with the new Firefox browser update, can you give me some idea why it is doing this?
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox opened
== Right after the new Firefox updateHello Anne.
Can you please try it in a new (temporary) Firefox profile and see if the issue is still present? See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles this article] to know how to create a new Firefox profile. Please report back the results. -
I lost Firefox for no apparent reason. I deleted the program and attempted to reinstall and download. Received an error message that read "Your firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." At the same time, I lost Picasa and all my photos. When I tried to reinstall Picasa, I received the same message about Firefox. Can someone please help. It's driving me nuts.
See:
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_missing_profile
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
*https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
See:
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox -
If my network connection goes out briefly due to a problem at my ISP, FireFox immediately opens a "diagnose network problems" page. This is particularly annoying when I don't even have FireFox or any other software open. Ideally, I do NOT want FireFox to even check if my Network is connected. How can I stop this?

JPEG images in FCP look pixilated
Hi everyone. I'm doing a picture montage in FCP and plan to do the Ken Burns thing by keyframing each photo myself. So I brought a bunch of JPEGs into my Browser, and when they're in the Viewer window, they look fantastic. But as soon as I drop them
