Problem setting XmlValue type throug PHP api
When i try to add metadata to a document and set its value to DATE_TIME i get an error:
Warning: xmlvalue::xmlvalue() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given in ...Code:
$v = new XmlValue(XmlValue_DATE_TIME, "2006-01-01T01:01:01");
Can i set specific metadata types through php?
Thank you.
Apply this patch to dbxml/src/php/php_dbxml_value.cpp and it will work.

How to set container type in PHP
Hello, I wanna to set the type of container to be XmlContainer::WholedocContainer. However it did not work, the php warnning "Fatal error: Undefined class constant 'WholedocContainer'". The book named The Definitive Guide to Berkeley DB XML told that the delimiter in php was replaced by underscore. But this guide leads php completely fall. How could I do to correctly set up the parameter? Thanks
Edited by: user10993398 on Dec 14, 2009 5:36 PMHi,
Here is an example for dbxml-2.5.13:
<?
function initDbXmlSystem()
global $_REQUEST;
$envName = "./tmp";
$contName = "result.dbxml";
$env = new Db4Env();
$env->open($envName);
$mgr = new XmlManager($env, DBXML_ALLOW_EXTERNAL_ACCESS);
$config = new XmlContainerConfig();
$config->setTransactional(true);
$config->setContainerType(XmlContainer_WholedocContainer);
$mgr->setDefaultContainerConfig($config);
$cont = $mgr->createContainer($contName);
initDbXmlSystem();
echo "DONE";

Problems setting up an Apache PHP and MySQL server(slvd)
I folowed this guide: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/LAMP and I did everything it says and everything is working well... but when I try to install any CMS that uses MySQL, it says that mysql is not running... Even with Nmap, it only shows that apache is running... anyone knows why ?
when I'm installing Xoops, it prints this error:
Fatal error:
mysql extension not loaded in /home/httpd/html/xoops-2.2.3a-final-xpr/html/class/database/mysqldatabase.php on line 74
But, phpMyAdmin runs without any errors... this is so strange...
Can anyone help me ?
Thanks in advanceI don't have any extension=mysql.dll in my php.ini.... I just have extension=mysql.so...

I've recently upgraded to Lightroom5.7.1 and now when I try to import photos a window pops up saying 'the photos can't be imported 'cos the files can't be read'. I had no problems before upgrading. I have Windows8 & can't find any 'app' which sets the type of files I can import. Any help appreciated.
Well, think about it. This is a Lightroom forum. We are here to answer questions about Lightroom and how to solve problems in Lightroom. Your permissions issue is an operating system issue, not a Lightroom issue. I didn't mean to be sarcastic. But there are plenty of Internet resources that will answer that question.
I just went to Google and typed in "change disk permissions", and there are links for the Mac as well as for Windows listed. There's no sense in me rewriting instructions that are already available. -
SoulseekQt not respecting set mime types in Openbox.
Hi,
I am having a strange problem with mime type handling in openbox.
When opening files through SoulseekQt, instead of opening with VLC as my mime types are set to do it opens Audacity. And when opening the folders, it opens Gwenview instead of Thunar.
I tried doing the same thing in xfce and it opened vlc, and thunar fine.
Is there a file I need to edit for openbox specific mime types?
Thanks for any help.My appologies for posting it into wrong forum. It should have been posted to Web Tier APIs > Java Servlet

Problems setting up an NFS server
Hi everybody,
I just completed my first arch install. :-)
I have a desktop and a laptop, and I installed Arch on the desktop (the laptop runs Ubuntu 9.10). I had a few difficulties here and there, but I now have the system up and running, and I'm very happy.
I have a problem setting up an NFS server. With Ubuntu everything was working, so I'm assuming that the Ubuntu machine (client) is set-up correctly. I'm trying to troubleshoot the arch box (server) now.
I followed this wiki article: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nfs
Now, I have these problems:
- when I start the daemons, I get:
[root@myhost ~]# /etc/rc.d/rpcbind start
:: Starting rpcbind [FAIL]
[root@myhost ~]# /etc/rc.d/nfs-common start
:: Starting rpc.statd daemon [FAIL]
[root@myhost ~]# /etc/rc.d/nfs-server start
:: Mounting nfsd filesystem [DONE]
:: Exporting all directories [BUSY] exportfs: /etc/exports [3]: Neither 'subtree_check' or 'no_subtree_check' specified for export "192.168.1.1/24:/home".
Assuming default behaviour ('no_subtree_check').
NOTE: this default has changed since nfs-utils version 1.0.x
[DONE]
:: Starting rpc.nfsd daemon [FAIL]
- If I mount the share on the client with "sudo mount 192.168.1.20:/home /media/desktop", IT IS mounted but I can't browse it because I have no privileges to access the home directory for the user.
my /etc/exports looks like this:
# /etc/exports: the access control list for filesystems which may be exported
# to NFS clients. See exports(5).
/home 192.168.1.1/24(rw,sync,all_squash,anonuid=99,anongid=99))
/etc/conf.d/nfs-common.conf:

Any help would be very appreciated!Thanks, I finally got it working.
I realized that even though both machines had the same group, my Ubuntu machine (client) group has GID 1000, while the Arch one has GID 1001. I created a group that has GID 1001 on the client, and now everything is working.
I'm wondering why my Arch username and group both have 1001 rather than 1000 (which I suppose would be the default number for the first user created).
Anyway, thanks again for your inputs. -
Problems setting up static routing
HI
I'm having a problem setting up static routing. I keep getting the message "invalid static route". I have an E1550 router and my frimware is up to date. I have tried a few different gateway addresses ie 192.168.1.1, 127.0.0.1 and my router's address on the net, but I keep getting the same message. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?I think the E1550 router supports LAN to LAN routing provided that you have two local networks. If you only have a plain modem and the E1550, I believe you can't do Static routing on that type of setup. Found this link that might help: http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=12a84336a124498eb5d6f0204b85191e_17589.xml&pid=80&...

I recently downloaded mysql Connector for my project.
However, I have problems setting it up.
When I run my program, It gives me a class not defined error.
System.out.println("Registering Driver...");
Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver").newInstance();
System.out.println("Connected to database");
System.out.println("Creating Connection");
connection= DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:mysql://localhost:8080/neuis");
System.out.println("Connection created");
catch(Exception ex)
System.out.println("Error in loading jdbc Driver: "+ex);
ex.printStackTrace();
I have put the jar file of the JDBC Bridge in a folder
C:\Drivers\Sql Connector
I have also added the absolute path of the jar to the system classpath
The value put in is:
C:\Drivers\Sql Connector\mysql-connector-java-3.1.10-bin.jar.
I am not sure what the problem is because I was told by the API that this was all I needed to do. Are there any other files I need to include with the jar file? Also, Is there a specific folder I must put it in?
Thank you in advance.Hi,
Take a look at the below link
http://www.cs.nott.ac.uk/TSG/manuals/databases/mysql/jdbc.html
may help you to setting up the jdbc with mysql

Problems Setting up my wireless network with an Xb...
Hi, I have had some problems setting up my wireless networking.
I have everything switched on and am able to go online with the laptop and the Xbox with no problems but when I try to share media with the xbox I have problems.
I have opened the ports specified in the setup from xbox on windows firewall and have no problem connection Via Ethernet cable but when using wireless the xbox cannot detect the laptop.
I have checked the network map and both xbox and laptop are connected and have enabled sharing and am running sharing software.
Below is the network map.
I have also been having problems with BT software, the free virus protection will not install, The desktop help will not launch although it shows up on task manager and the installation disk does not launch correctly it doesn't get past the loading screen.
I have had a printer on the wireless network and had no problems printing.
If anyone knows how to resolve this please help.I have this same Motorola modem and I just verified that my 802.11n AirPort Express Base Station (AXn) can get Internet access with this modem without any issues.
When changing ISPs (or networking equipment) it's always a good idea to start from "scratch" in configuring your equipment.
I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes.
Power-up the base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes.
Power-up your computer(s).
In this basic configuration, computers connected to the base station, either by wire or wireless (as appropriate for the base station type), should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. -
Hi.
I've been having problems setting up NFS on a LAN at home. I've read through all the Arch NFS-related threads and looked at (and tried some of) the suggestions, but without success.
What I'm trying to do is set up an NFS share on a wireless laptop to copy one user's files from the laptop to a wired workstation. The laptop is running Libranet 2.8.1. The workstation is running Arch Linux with the most up-to-date (as of today) software, including NFS.
I have the portmap, nfslock, and nfsd daemons running via rc.conf, set to run in that order.
I've re-installed nfs-utils and set up hosts.deny as follows:
# /etc/hosts.deny
ALL: ALL
# End of file
and hosts.allow as follows:
# /etc/hosts.allow
ALL: 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
ALL: LOCAL
# End of file
In other words, I want to allow access on the machine to anything running locally or on the LAN.
I have the shared directories successfully exported from the laptop (192.168.0.3), but I have not been able to mount the exported directories on the workstation (192.168.0.2).
The mount command I'm using at the workstation:
mount -t nfs -o rsize=8192,wsize=8192 192.168.0.3:/exports /exports
There is an /exports directory on both machines at root with root permissions. There is an /etc/exports file on the NFS server machine that gives asynchronous read/write permissions to 192.168.0.2 for the /exports directory.
I receive the following message:
mount: RPC: Program not registered
This appears to be a hosts.allow/hosts.deny type problem, but I can't figure out what I need to do to make RPC work properly.
Some additional information, just in case it's helpful:
This is the result if running rpcinfo:
program vers proto port

Thanks for any help here!
Regards,
WinHi ravster.
Thanks for the suggestions. I had read the Arch NFS HowTo and did as you suggested get rcpinfo for the server machine. The Libranet NFS server is configured rather different since the NFS daemons are built into the default kernel.
Since I needed to complete the transfer immediately, I gave up for now trying to set up NFS and used netcat (!) instead to transfer the files from the Libranet laptop to the Arch workstation. The laptop will be converted to Arch Linux soon so I think I'll be able to clear things up soon. I haven't had any problems setting up NFS with homogeneous (i.e., all Arch or all Libranet) computer combinations.
Thanks again.

cnibhco112#Ro,
Thanks for the respone, have been playin, with MPLS for last few hours.
The routing between the loopbacks is now working, can PING 7609 Loopback from AS5350 ,and vice versa. (used static routes).
Having problem with TDP / LDP on routers,
mpls label protocol ldp / tdp command works correctly on both routers, but the
tag-switching tdp router-id Loopback0 force
command works on the 7609, but when I add it onto the AS5350 , the command "mpls ldp router-id Loopback0 force" appears on the startup script.
The opposite is true for the 7609 , you add MPLS LDP command, and TAG-SWITCHING command appears instead.
Any Ideas, as different configs of this leave me with forwarding table with both tags added, but not been able to ping the loopbacks !!!
When I can ping bot loopbacks, the OUTGOING TAG , disapears.....
Problem is LOOPBACK Commands on bot routers default to LDP (AS5350) , or TDP (7609). Any Ideas ...

Problems setting up a Domain - javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException
I am having problems setting up a Domain. The following steps summarize
what I have done.
1. Created FooDomain in d:/bea/wlserver6.0/config and created
appropriate config.xml, startup scripts, security, etc... (FooDomain
boots ok)
2. Moved console.war to bea/wlserver6.0/config/FooDomain/applications
3. Connected to FooDomain via console (works ok).
4. Defined machine FooMachine (happens to be localhost)
5. Defined new server FooServer (in addition to default myserver) and
assigned it to FooMachine.
6. Created a new directory d:/managedServers/FooServer (note - outside
installation directory)
7. Created directories d:/managedServers/FooServer/logs &
d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications
8. Copied sample startManagedServer.cmd from mydomain to
d:/managedServers/FooServer & modified appropriately.
9. Ran startManagedServer.cmd (Note: I was able to connect to the
Administration Server ok)
The problems are as follows. (From the console - pointing to the
Administration Server for the FooDomain)
1. I am unable to configure a DefaultWebApp_FooServer to be located at
d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications. I get the following exeption:
javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException:
FooDomain:Name=DefaultWebApp_FooServer,Type=WebAppComponent.
2. I get a similar error when trying to set FooServer log locations to
d:/managedServers/FooServer/logs
Any ideas as to why? This then begs the question, what if FooServer was
on a different physical server altogether. How would I define the
location of the DefaultWebApp and logs.
Thanks
jay ()If you want your application work, think my way. At least, all my teammates have used this method to build their development environment. If you are more interested to debug for Weblogic, contact your support representative. The tools from Administration console look very nice, but not function as you want (e.g., the tool to convert version 5.1 application to version 6, even monitor tools). Administration console is very nice to be used to configue the parameters for a domain, but not so trustful and not for application setup in my own experience and that is why I suggest you use mydomain and DefaultWebApp_MyServer as templates. By the way, I did modify config.xml manually to change the default web application entry, etc, to what I want.
Jay Zammit <[email protected]> wrote:
I did not modify config.xml manually. In fact, I am able to boot both the Administration Server & Managed Server. The problem happens when using the Administration console to assign my logs and Default Applications directory to the d:/managedServers/FooServer/logs, and d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications/DefaultWebApp_FooServer directories. Try it yourself. Go to the Configurer WebApp option and type in a fully qualified directory such as d:/managedServers/FooServer/applications/DefaultWebApp_FooServer
and see if it works on your system.

One suggestion. Use the default domain mydomain as a template. Just make a copy of "mydomain" in folder config and rename the copy to whatever you like. Use some help tools to search all files (non-binary files) in new domain for key word "mydomain" and replace these words with your new domain name. To build an application, just rename the DefaultWebApp_MyServer to what you like and search "DefaultWebApp_MyServer" in all files (non-binary files) in your new domain and replace these words with yournew application name. Note you need to modify the scripts accordingly. Then you can run "startWeblogic" in your new domain directory to start your new domain. Other parameters should be configured by Administration console. If you manually modify configuration files, you could expect some bad news without reason.

Problems setting up WRT54G2 router
I'm having problems setting up my Linksys WRT54G2 router. I want my mac laptop (iBook G3 running OSX) to use a wireless connection, and the home computer (running Windows XP) to stay connected to the modem.
I originally tried to set up the router by connecting it via ethernet to my laptop (and by ethernet to the modem), and went into the 192.168.1.1 address to configure it. The internet works fine on my laptop when connected to the wireless by ethernet but it can't connect wirelessly (it has an original airport card fitted, at first I thought I might need to upgrade the firmware but I ran a software update and one didn't come up). I then realised that I would need to MAC clone from the PC, that is connected to the modem? I tried to do this today, but I couldn't access the 192.168.1.1 address from the PC. I have tried resetting the router, and disabling the firewall but still can't access it. This PC also has anti-virus software running too - could this be the problem, or am I setting it up wrong? Thanks.If you are trying to Setup your Router with the setup disk, Then you can exit from the setup and configure your Router manually. Before you configure your router, you need to Press and hold the reset button for 60 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 60 seconds and re-connect the power cable.....
You need to connect your Modem to Linksys Router on Internet Port and your Computer to Linksys Router on Port No.1.
If your Internet Service Providor is Cable follow this link
If your Internet Service Providor is DSL follow this link
Here are the Wireless Settings which you can set on your router, once done you can try connecting your MAC computer to your Wireless network and check if you are Online from MAC computer.
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1
Leave username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
For Wireless Settings, please do the following : -
Click on the Wireless tab
-Here select manual configuration...Wireless Network mode should be mixed...
-Provide a unique name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box in order to differentiate your network from your neighbours network...
- Set the Radio Band to Wide-40MHz and change the Wide channel to 9 and Standard Channel to 11-2.462GHz...Wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on save settings...
Please make a note of Wireless Network Name (SSID) as this is the Network Identifier...
For Wireless Security : -
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WPA, For Encryption, select AES...For Passphrase input your desired WPA Key. For example , MySecretKey , This will serve as your network key whenever you connect to your wireless network. Do NOT give this key to anyone.
NOTE : Passphrase should be more that 8 characters...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75 >>Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304 Change the RTS Threshold to 2307 >>Click on "Save Settings"...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect... -
Document types displayed as folders when arranged by set to type
Hello everyone,
I have an issue with the finder since upgraded to Lion.
I use to open finder in column view with "Arranged by" set to "Type" and "Sort by" set to name. But the thing is that the titles/names of the document types are sometimes diplayed or behave as ordinary folders.
Look at the snapshot below (sorry it's a french one): in the left column, display is fine. But in the middle one, "Dossiers", "Contacts", "Documents PDF" and "Documents" are displayed as ordinary folders.
Note that the issue does not limit to the display. These non existing folders can be selected with my mouse.
Moreover, it happens randomly and I checked on a new Account: issue is still there.
So, as anyone observed that ?
Thanks a lot,
Nicolas.Sorry for the late reply, but yes this happens to me quite often.
I have no solution to the problem, but it is rather annoying. Especially if you navigate from one column to another. The first file or folder does not get selected instead it is the "headline with the folder icon" that gets selected. Irritating and it looks terrible when highlighted. -
Set Aggregation type of Count Distinct to use correct table aggregation in
Hi there,
Currently I use OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 , and there is a case where a fact table consist of 2 logical table source: detail and aggregate table, which has some measure using count distinct as aggregation type. The problem is everytime I browse the measure with no dimension at all , it always use detail table not aggegation one..
Really appreciate for any suggestion ..
thanks a lotHi,
I don't think it's the same case as mine. Let say I have 2 table : detail and aggegate
Detail Table consists 4 fields:
*) Period
*) Market
*) Region
*) Measure : Customer ID, Sales
Aggregate Table consists 3 fields :
*) Period
*) Region
*) Measure : Customer ID, Sales
in the measure I set aggregation type for each field:
*) Sales >> set as Sum
*) Customer ID >> copy as "Number of Customer" and set as Count Distinct
In each LTS' contents I set the level of aggregation using "Get Levels" feature..
Then I try to browse via Presentation and do some querys belows:
a) only choose single field of measure : Sales, the session shows that the value is taken from aggregation table and just as I expected.
b) choose period and sales, the session shows that the values are taken from aggregation table, and still just as I expected.
c) choose period, sales , and market, the session shows that the values are taken from detail table, just as I expected.
d) only choose single field of measure : "Number of Customer", the session shows that the value is taken from detail table , this is NOT as I expected. It suppose to take the value from aggregation table..
e) choose period and "Number of Customer", the session shows that the value is taken from detail table , this is also NOT as I expected. It suppose to take the value from aggregation table..
I've tried to override the aggregation , but still confuse how to apply in measure "Number of Customer" and did not work at all..
any idea ?
thanks a lot
