Problem to create RTP stream on Linux by using JMF studio

Hello All,
I am trying to use JMStudio in order to create RTP stream
I have a problem with capture
I have run Jmfinit I got following messages
JavaSound Capture Supported = true
JavaSoundAuto: Committed ok
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 0
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 1
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 2
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 3
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 4
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 5
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 6
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 7
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 8
java.lang.Error: Can't open video card 9
it seems to me that i have no directsoundcapture
therefore i can not create RTP package stream
How can i add direct sound capture to my capture devices.
is there any suggestion for this issue?

In $ORACLE_BASE/admin you should have a directory structure for the viton1 instance : create a similar directory structure for the viton2 instance.
In the pfile subdirectory create the initviton2.ora file : you can copy it from initviton1.ora file and change all occurrences of viton1 to viton2.
At OS prompt : export ORACLE_SID=viton2, then
sqlplus /nolog
conn / as sysdba
startup nomount pfile=$ORACLE_BASE/admin/viton2/pfile/initviton2.ora
then CREATE DATABASE.....

Problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N

I am working in SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4.0 system.
I have problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N
I create a DIR version 00 with functional location and mpd cycles. Then when i try to create a new version by copying the contents created from already created document.I change the MPD cycles in the new version and save it.
once when i display the first document created the mpdcycle specified in version 01 is copied to the 00 version.
The document is inconsistent where versioning of document doesnot work properly wrt MPDCYCLE and MP HEADER.
The problem which i found was the document identification guid remains the same for all the document versions getting created.
The same is working fine in SAP ERP6.0 EHP3.0 sytem.
Please someone help me in resolving the above issue.

There is a change in the standard code.The reason for the above problem was because of a missing Enhancemnet point in a standard function module 'CV110_DOC_CREATE_WITH_TEMPLATE'.

Created a custom enhancement point similar to SAP ECC6.0 EHP 3.0 system.
The reason was the buffer was not getting cleared previously.After inserting the above code the DIR's are getting created withot any issues.

Question about creating association between Sharepoint BDC entities using Visual Studio 2010

I am getting the following error:
There is an error in the TypeDescriptors of Parameters on Method with Name 'CustomerToOrder' on Entity (External Content Type) with Name 'Customer' in Namespace 'BdcAssociationSample.BdcModel1'. The TypeDescriptors incompletely define where the Foreign
Identifiers of Entity 'Order' in Namespace 'BdcAssociationSample.BdcModel1' are to be read. That Entity expects exactly '1' Identifiers, but only '0' TypeDescriptors with the correct Association were found from which to read them.

According to your post, my understanding is that you got the symbols not loaded error.
First try rebuilding your project by right mouse click the project > Rebuild If that doesn't work, try a clean of the project (right mouse click on the project > clean)
If that didn't work check this:
Right mouse click your project
select [Properties]
select the [Build] tab
make sure [Define DEBUG constant] and [Define TRACE constant] are checked
Click the [Advanced] button at the bottom of the Build tabpage
Make sure that [Debug Info:] is set to [full]
Click [OK] and rebuild the project ;
Hope that works for you! (step 6 generates the .pdb files, these are the debugging symbols)
What’s more, you can clean & re-compile the code, then install the respective dlls one more time to GAC (just remove them before adding to GAC again), do an IISReset to check whether it works.

How to create another instance on linux without using dbca?

I have an oracle database (or instance) named viton1 on my linux.
Now I want to create another instance (or database) named viton2 on my linux without using dbca.
I know I can create a database by runing a sql script : create database ......
But my problem is:
before I can run the script for create database, I must startup nomount database.
Before I can startup nomount the instance, I have to connect the instance.
So I do it:
$sqlplus /nolog
sql > conn sys/password as sysdba;
sql >
then I connected to viton1, that's not what I expected.
In order not to connect to viton1, I set ORACLE_SID=viton2. Then it show error: insufficient privilege.
Who can tell me the right way to create another database without using dbca?

Problem in creating client side PDF with image using flex and AlivePD

I need a favor I am creating client side PDF with image using flex and AlivePDF for a web based application. Images have been generated on that pdf but it is creating problem for large size images as half of the image disappeared from that pdf.I am taking the image inside a canvas . How do i control my images so that they come fit on that pdf file for any image size that i take.

I am having a similar and more serious problem. It takes a
long time to execute, but even attaching a small image balloons the
pdf to 6MB plus. After a few images it gets up to 20MB. These are
100k jpeg files being attached. The resulting PDF is too large to
email or process effectively. Does anyone know how to reduce
size/processing?

Problem when create auto numbering in BP master using Formatted Search

I have a problem in creating auto numbering in BP for Customer type using Formatted search
My query is like this

It should be creating the new number for example
CU.201101.1
CU.201102.2
CU.201103.3
CU.201103.4
The format will be like this CU.YYYYMM.autonumbering
So if the current year is still the same it will always increase the number and it will reset the number become 1 if the current year is change.
But when i execute the number , the number doesn't increase, still generate the last number CU.201103.4
I have use this query in generate item number, it runs well but different format.
Is there some thing wrong with my query?

JDK & Suse Linux - cannot use JMF or run JMSTUDIO

I have tried using JMF and running jmstudio with SuSE linux 10.0
Every time I try and run jmstudio I get the following error:

In NetBeans using JDK1_5, all you have to do is :
step 1.) tools -> library manager.
step 2.) Click on New Library.
step 3.) Name the Library Name JMF (or whatever).
step 4.) Leave Library Type as Class Libraries.
step 5.) Click OK.
step 6.) Select the library you just made in the
listbox on the left.
step 7.) In the center of the form you are in, you should
see a white box with three tabs on top (Classpath, Sources, Javadoc).
Make sure Classpath is selected.
step 8.) On the right , click on the Add Jar/Folder... button.
step 9.) A dialogue box will pop up. Select the directory where your
you put JMF. Add the .jar files from the JMF's lib directory and
click the Add Jar/Folder for that dialog box. Repeat step 8.
When finnished, you should have three .jar files in your newly
created library(I called mine JMF). The files should be jmf.jar,
mediaplayer.jar, and multiplayer.jar.
step 10.) Create a project.
step 11.) In the Projects pane, expand Libraries which you will see
whatever JDK you are using and any other libraries you
happen to be using. Right Click on Libraries there and
click Add Library. A popup window displaying libraries
will show and the one you just created should be in there.
step 12.) Highlight the library you made and click its Add library
button.
You should now be able to use JMF in your apps! I assume you
know about importing the packages in your sourcefiles!!!! ;-)

Problem while sending RTP stream to QuickTime player

Hello,
I am trying to send a RTP video stream from a local file to a Quicktime player.
The player is waiting for the stream in its default ports (6970/6971). I archieve this by using my own RTSP server.
I start the transmission by using a processor and a datasink. It seems that I send one or two RTCP packages to port 6971, but not RTP packages are sent.
This is my code:

Problem in creating database instance in linux through webtool

i got sql erroe ,when i mam trying to creat database instance.i am decrbing steps here from point of start.
Initially i invke two command
1:/opt/sdb/programs/bin/x_server
2:/etc/rc.d/init.d/maxdbweb start
then i invoke web application as:http://localhost:9999/webdbm
then i m trying to create DATABASE Instance
1:specify Database/servaername
 Name : Test12
 Server : localhost
 Username : dbm
 Password : dbm
2:the fill the authetication form as(dbm,dbm,dbm),(dba,dba,dba)
3:use default and specify data and log space
4:Then i click "Install" button
then i got error: "-24988 sql error:"
plz tell me where i m wrong and tell me any another component ,should i start.

Problem in creating a web dynpro application in netweaver developer studio.

Hi,
I have installed Netweaver developer studio. while creating a webdynpro project by selecting File->new->project, It doesn't display "web dynpro" option in the project wizard dailogue box.
Please suggest how to resolve this issue.

Hi Babu,
Make sure following plugin folder
"com.sap.ide.webdynpro.ui_xx.yy.zz(for ex:com.sap.ide.webdynpro.ui_2.0.0)"
exists in your ecclipse root folder (for ex:C:\Program Files\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\plugins\)
It is responsible for the UI selection elements in File->New Project->WebDynpro selection.
If it's not there you will have to copy it. check also other webdypro plugins installed correctly. these plugins comes with default installation of SAP WEBAS.
if all plugins not installed then redo the whole installation but at the same time make sure all plugins installed correctly.

Problem in creating war file with context name using '/'

Hi, I am trying to create a war file and I have given the
weblogic.httpd.webApp.cnt/servlet=C:/weblogic/myserver/warfiles/ in
weblogic.properties file. My war file exists in
C::/weblogic/myserver/warfiles/ directory. Whenever I try to access the page
CPRSEntryServlet I give the URL as
localhost:7001/cnt/servlet/CPRSEntryServlet (as my webservlet context is
cnt/servlet) I get page not found error. Is there anything wrong in giving
the servlet context as cnt/servlet. Does the '/' work..? Please help me..I
have struggling with this since a long time

How to Create a Custom Project Site Template Using Visual Studio

I know how to make changes and save a site as a template but I need to be able to create a new project site template during deployment to different environments. Trying to have this not be a manual process.

How to create CD tracks into a DVD using DVD Studio Pro 4

I would like to know if it is possible to create a simple audio track list from the menu and program it to play without having to enter a track file. I have 6 songs and I want click on the song and it would start to play, so on etc....and of course be able to use all of its functions such as play, stop, pause etc... without leaving the menu.

Hi Shawn thanks for your quick response. You are right, musci tracks use a cd. But I'm a musician and a filmmaker and I wanted to create a showreel for myself with my works all together. I bought about a year ago a superman (R. Donner 1977) DVD in the US with 3 DVDs and on one of the bonus dvd they created a menu where you could play some of the music used on the film, you clicked and the music was on. I'm preparing my new showreel and if I could do the same with my dvd, it would awesome. Is there anyway I could control control the background music by a click of a button? If this software can't do it, they should try to correct it of a future release.

Mixing audio RTP-Streams to conference

I'm trying to create a telefon conference applikation with jmf.
My problem:
I need to mix multiple incomming RTP-Streams (Audio/G711_ulaw) together into one outgoing RTP-Stream.
If I use a MergingDataSource i can get one DataSource with multiple Tracks, but i'm not able to send them out together over one RTP-Session.
Is there any way to do this?
I have also thaught about using RawBufferMux or WAVMux to multiplex the tracks included in the MergingDataSource ,but i cant find out how to use them.
Or is there an easyer way to create an conference over RTP?
I need to connect to cisco ip-phones, so i can only use the g711_ulaw codec.
Is there anyone out who can help me?

Im sorry, but I met this problem in past and find it impossible to resolve.
Im also thought about MergingDataSource, about Many2One class and more and more but nothing I could use. And nobody could answer this question in this forum half of year ago.
Oh, nearly forgot: it is possible to write merged streams to file, seems possible to write them into file and then to transmit it to net from file. But how to realize more than one Processor?..

RTP ReceiveStreamListener in Linux

Hi,
I have problem receiving an RTP stream by using a ReceiveStreamListener object, I am adding my object to RTPStreamMgr but the "update" method never gets called. I have changed my host ip in the /etc/hosts file to my "network IP" from loop-back IP so InetAddress.getLocalHost() works as in windows. Before that I wasn't able to send either. I have tested receiving with "JMStudio" and just worked, the program also works in windows. This is how I start my receiving session.
