Problem trying to debug my program.

Take a look at the code. It's a Soccer program which lets the user enter details about the teamcode, wins, losses etc. On line "44", I'm using a do. But I'm getting an error that says:
C:\Program Files\Xinox Software\JCreator LE\MyProjects\soccer\Soccer.java:44: Type expected.
     do {
     ^
1 error
Here's the code itself:

Any idea to what I've done wrong with this? Please respond soon. Thanks!

probably, but a) without [code ] tags it's a pain to read through your code and b) the problem the above poster mentions is the reason for your compiler error, so fix that and the compiler will probably tell you about the rest of your trouble.

I made a program similar to the create marshal example from the Java Web Services Tutorial. It compiled ok, but when I try:
    java Main
    I get the following error:

    I've got this problem before,
    as time limited,
I simply extract and copy the <jwsdp_home>\jaxb\lib\jaxb_api.jar to the folder containing the Main.java.

Actually the problem was solved partially.....
There are two version of SE38 ....previously  we worked in old one. While faced that problem we just changed
that to new one and hence the problem got solved. May be the GUI of previous one does not compatible in  some how with the latest patch of SAP used in our organization.
    Thanks.....

  • How to debug the program in background

    hi
how to debug the program in background

    Hello everyone,
I often debug my programs via the sm50 transaction and it works very well (especially when you put the dummy loop ^ - ^ ). However we are confronted to a major problem when more than one user tries to debug. We get a message saying that the maximum number of users in the debugging mode has been reached!! Thus we each have to wait for our turn to debug our program. It's a real pain.
We've searched for a parameter to configure the number of users for the debugging mode but in vain
Has anyone else had this kind of problem? If yes, what do I need to do to correct it?
Any suggestion would be helpful as I am new to BW.
    Thank you beforehand.
    Regards,
    Dimple

My Firefox ver. 3.6 stopped loading pages of any kind. Even Google or Facebook! I don't know how this happened. May it is because I tried to download a program that didn't even open up.... But I don't know how to make it work. All other browsers work normally, and I'm scanning for viruses even though my anti-virus did not warn me of anything... I tried to download a keygen and this is what happened. I can't figure out what it is. Not a connection problem. I even tried to uninstall an re-install firefox, but still nothing worked.

  • Error while trying to debug on windows mobile 6.1  with j2me SDK 3.0 ea

    Hi,
I tried to debug a simple application today. It works fine with the emulator but debug fails to connect to the device.
I followed the steps described in the userguide of 3.0.
host operating system: windows xp sp3
    device: htc touch pro
device operatiing system: windows mobile 6.1 professional
The device is listed in the device selector of the SDK as Touch_Pro
The device is connected and active sync is running (i can explore the phone using windows explorer)
sun-java-cldc-emu.cab has been installed on the device and is running
When i try to debug the application from the SDK or netbeans 6.5(added 3.0ea as a platform) i get the following error:
Starting emulator with port number 51307
Cannot create device connection: Failed to connect to device 9!
    Result: 1
I tried setting the loglevel to DEBUG in log4j config of the SDK, but thats it.
Are there any other settings i can change to get more detailed output?
Where do you report bugs/feedback for j2me SDK 3.0 ea?

    Hi dominikg,
At first, You can try to restart the device-manager from system tray.
If it doesn't help, then try the following:
    - stop the device manager
    - Remove c:\Docement and Settings\<your User>\javame-sdk folder.
    - Ran the device manager from <SDK>/bin directory
    - try to debug again.
Did you tried to change port 51307 to another.
Early access build had some problems with device manager, I hope that final release will be better :)

    Igor

  • Spacebar shortcut for hand tool not working in Photoshop CC - have tried closing all other programs

The spacebar shortcut for hand tool is not working in Photoshop CC - as suggested in this form & others I have tried closing all other programs with no result. I have also reset photoshop to default settings & this did not make any difference either.

There may be a software conflict. I went through this today. When I did a search in Adobe foruns actually found tha answer on the Illustrator forum:  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1027227?
What the problem for me was an app called - 1Password.  I had opened it, but not given my password to login and it was on in the background. As soon as I quit 1Password, the spacebar Hand Tool worked.
Then I opened 1Password again, and logged in. This time the spacebar works.
Others mentioned conflict with Spotify. And Chrome too. Couple other things. Read that thread in the link above.
    Good luck!

    Hello darkhawk,
Thank you for the recommendation.  I somewhat understand what a MS DOS disk is, but I'm not sure how to go about creating one. I've seen where you can use a program, like Rufus, to create a usb one  - but I'm leery about using 3rd-party programs (especially ones I'm not familiar with). I've come across a couple of 'how-to' tuts, but they didn't clarify what files (if any) I would need to include on the disk (for my particular situation). Right now I don't have any blank cds, nor any extra flash/thumb drives - wish I did, but hadn't needed these for years. There has only been one other time where I needed to re-install Windows, but that was over 15 years ago - I did it through BIOS, reformatting my drives, and then reinstalled via the Windows XP disk. Windows 8 is an entirely different breed, which has left me feeling a bit stumped, at times. If there was a way I could perform it (successfully), similar to the first time I did it years ago, I'd give it a try - but at the same time, I'm a bit reluctant, because if it doesn't work, then I'm stuck without any internet access to get further help.
Ask and ye shall receive. This should be doable in Windows 7 and Windows 8 on another PC. I recommend using a USB Flash drive like in this tutorial, but I'm sure you could use something else.
If you want, you could also use Hiren's BootCD to make a bootable CD with many options and programs on it (I keep one, just for certain situations) that will allow you to do the same things.
    http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd
Also very useful for sorting out virus's as long as it's downloaded and made on another PC that is virus free......

  • Signal ILL trying to debug java process with dbx

    Hello,
I'm trying to debug a java process to find an error in JNI code. I get this message when dbx stops in a C breakpoint:
t@18 (l@19) signal ILL (illegal trap) in (unknown) t@18 (l@19) signal ILL (illegal trap) in (unknown) at 0xf848ed28
0xf848ed28:     tne     0x12This signal is not launched when running application without debugger, and after launching this exception and exiting dbx, the java process generates a core.
I've tried to find out unsuccessfully whether my dbx version is compatible with my Java version, but it seems this could be the problem.

  • Debugging the program that will get triggered for a particular output type

    Hi all,
I have one program, which will get triggered when a Sales order of type 'VOR' is created.Whenever 'VOR' order is created it will trigger the 'ZALT' output type. And this output type 'ZALT'has been configured to my program. This output type configuration has been set up by my functional consultant.
My problem is I created Sales order of type 'VOR'.But I want to debug my program, which has to be triggered because of that 'VOR' sales order type, which in turn triggers 'ZALT' output type and in turn triggers my program.
My problem is I created Sales order of type 'VOR' by keeping debugging point in my program. But it is not going to my program and simply displaying sales order has been saved.
So is the outtype has been configured properly?.Do I need to go to my functional consultant?Could anyone explain in this regard?
    Rgds,
    Balaji

    Hi Balaji,
If possible, try to repeat the output in the output type messages screen of VA02 and change its dipatch time to '1'(Through further data). Now put the break point in the program assigned to output tye 'ZALT'(You can see this in the TNAPR table) and run the program RSNAST00 through SE38. The program will stop at the break point.
If its not possible to repeat the output and if you want to check it the first time the output type is processed, ask the functional consultant to change the dispatch time in the condition record that is being retrieved for proposing the output type to '1'. Now run RSNAST00. The program will stop at the breakpoint.
    Thanks,
    Vinay

  • Problems trying to upgrade from Solaris 10 update 4 to update 8

    Hello,
I am having problems trying to upgrade a system from update 4 to update 8. I have broken all the mirrors and everything is now setup off of one disk, yet I do not get the upgrade option when I boot from the CDROM. Anybody have any ideas?
It is a pretty basic system and I do not understand why it will not let me upgrade.
    Thanks for your help,
    Gary

If you boot your system from the CD-Rom, you can test its upgradability by performing the following steps:
create a file named for example /tmp/pf_profile, which contains:
    install_type  upgrade
root_device   /dev/dsk/<your root slice>The run the pfinstall program on it:
    /usr/sbin/install.d/pfinstall -D /tmp/pf_profile
.. with a bit of luck that should validate your installation and report any potential problems which might cause this.
Also, have you had a look on the following thread?
