Problem using two-sided IU elimination

Hi experts,
I need your advice in the following scenario.
I have defined a two-sided IU Elimination method for Operational Costs and Profits.
I placed Operational Costs in Selection 1 and Operational Profits in Selection 2.
I have defined 2 accounts for differences, one for Debit and another for Credit.
After executing the method I noticed a strange behavior. I have differences in Selection 1 / Selection 2 and I was expecting to see the use of only one difference account, in Debit or Credit. Nevertheless the system is using both differences accounts.
Example:
Selection 1 / Selection 2
Item     Partner Company     Balance A     Balance B     Total Difference
Total                                  100 u20AC     -90 u20AC        10 u20AC
6810000000               A                             100 u20AC             100 u20AC
7810000000               B                               -90 u20AC       -90u20AC
I was expecting the system to post the total difference in only one difference account and post 10 u20AC in 6800000099.
In this case the system is posting 100 u20AC to difference account 6800000099 and -90 u20AC to difference account 7800000099.
Do you know how I tell the system to post the Total Difference in ony one difference account?
Thanks in advance.
João Arvanas

Hi,
One and same account doesn't work. It still posts two lines for the same account.
I'm not using one-sided elimination because the client wants to analyse Costs and Profits separately.
Many thanks,
João Arvanas

  • Problem with two sided printing

    I routinely did two sided printing with my C7280 All-In-One printer, using Vista.  But, now that I upgraded to Windows 7, I can no longer do so.  When I select two sided printing, a three picture window appears, which instructs me to turn over the odd numbered pages that are printed out first, following by printing of the even numbered pages on the reverse sides of the odd numbered ones.  When I use another computer that still has Vista, all works well; i.e., each page is pulled in again, and the second page is printed on the opposite side of the preceding page.  I have uploaded the new printer drivers for Windows 7, but still can't get it to automatically print two sided.  How can I correct this?

    Go to the first post in the link I gave and read the details. In particular:
    No option for two-sided printing. The selection for automatic two sided printing may be grayed out, or only manual duplexing is offered.  This typically occurs because the duplexer is not recognized as installed, or the driver may default to not installed.   To correct this in Vista do the following: go to Start, Control Panel, Printers, right-click on the printer, Run as Administrator, Properties, (continue), Device Settings, Installable Options, set the "Two Sided Duplex Unit" to installed, OK.  For Windows 7 the method is similar:  go to Start, Devices and Printers, right click on the printer, Printer properties, Device settings, Installable Options, set the "Two Sided Duplex Unit" to installed, OK.

  • Problem using two displays...

    So I'm running my G5 with OSX 10.4.10 with a Radeon 9800 XT. I have two displays connected. A 23" Apple Cinema display conneded, via a Belkin ADC to DVI adaptor, to the ADC port. The second display is a Princeton VL 1919 connected directly to the DVI port. They both work great.
    But there's a problem.
    Every 20 minutes, or so, everything will freeze up & the screens will go blue. Everything will hang for a couple of seconds & then return to normal.
    It didn't start doing this until I connected the Princeton. Now I know that the Princeton is OK because I used it with my Mini for months & it was perfect. Also, The Cinema Display was perfect on it's own. Not until I put them together on the G5 was there a problem.
    I went to the Radeon site to download a new driver, but there isn't one available for the 9800 XT. Only the 9800 Pro Mac & Pro Mac Special Edition.
    Any ideas?
    Any insight is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for any help offered.

    Hmmm...
    Well, I just got an email back from the coolerguys. They said that this "Might" work...
    http://www.coolerguys.com/840556026433.html
    But they can't be sure.
    So I'm going to plan ahead & assume that either it will not fit, or I'm going to kill the card when I try to install the fan.
    So...
    Can you recommend a replacement card that people have been generally happy with? All I need it to do is drive two screens, one of them being a 23" & be able to handle some pretty demanding Photoshop work/Indesign work.
    Any advise is appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • Testcase problem using two file adapter and a transformation

    We've got an input which looks like this :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <rows>

    <row>
    <id>20</id>

    </rows>
    I've created an XSD for this message which looks like this ( straightforward ) :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" targetNamespace="http://www.test.nl/testschema" xmlns:test="http://www.test.nl/testschema" elementFormDefault="unqualified">

    </schema>
    I've imported this XSD in my ESB project and created a file adapter which reads this type op files.
    I've created another file adapter to write the files 1:1 to an output dir.
    In the routingservice I've created a very straightforward XSL mapping which maps everything 1:1.
    Now the problem
    When I use this input :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <rows>
    <row>
    <id>10</id>
    <naam>Martin</naam>
    </row>
    <row>
    <id>20</id>
    <naam>Edward</naam>
    </row>
    </rows>
    my output result is:
    <?xml version="1.0" ?><imp1:rows xmlns:imp1="http://www.test.nl/testschema"/>
    I know this is a namespace issue. When I add the namespace
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <rows xmlns="http://www.test.nl/testschema">
    <row>
    <id>10</id>
    <naam>Martin</naam>
    </row>
    <row>
    <id>20</id>
    <naam>Edward</naam>
    </row>
    </rows>
    I get the correct ( and 1:1 output ).
    The problem is. In the scenario I'm about to build the input xml messages do not have an namespace. How can I alter my xsd file or anything within my ESB project that all files will be picked up correctly and processed without having an default namespace?
    Any help is appreciated!

    True,
    But its the other way around what is causing my problem.
    Because the input xml files contain no namespace at all the xml messages are transformed but result in an almost empty xml message. ( e.g. the root element is there and thats it ).
    This is because the XML transformation mapper in ESB ( as well as BPEL ) excplicitly needs a namespace.
    I solved it by editing the XSL by hand, removing the :imp1 namespace prefixes in the select="" tags. e.g.
    <xsl:for-each select="/imp1:rows/imp1:row"> is updated in
    <xsl:for-each select="/rows/row">
    As far as I know this is the only workaround at the moment that I could find.

  • Footers only print on front page when using two sided printing.

    I am printing front to back and for some reason the footers in my document are only printing on one side of the page. My headers are printing on both sides.

    z,
    Perhaps I wasn't clear. If you select the "Left and Right Pages are Different" option that could explain why you don't have the same thing on the left and right pages, so you should deselect that option. I think your problem goes deeper though. When you say you are "pasting a footer", that concerns me. We type content into footer fields; we don't normally think of them as needing to be pasted in or into. If you don't have a copy, you may want to download the Pages 08 user guide and read-up on Headers and Footers. You can download the guide at: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/Pages08_UserGuide.pdf

  • SEM-BCS One vs Two Sided Eliminations

    Hi,
    What are the significant differences between One and two sided elimination?
    When do we use one sided and when to use two sided?
    Thanks is advance.

    Hi,
    Interunit eliminations happen between pairs of cons units.
    <b>Two-sided elimination</b> might be used when both cons units have information regarding operations between them.
    Example: A/P & A/R in balance sheet:
    The company X has A/R in amount ZZZ with regard to Y company-partner.
    The company Y has A/P in amount ZZZ  with regard to X company-partner.
    All these entries mean that Company Y owe Company X $ZZZ amount.
    Using this two-directed information the system may exclude these liabilities.
    Certainly, not always amount of debt is shown equally by both companies. In this case we select the strategy of writing off the difference.
    <b>One-sided elimination</b> might be used when only one cons units have information regarding operations with another unit.
    The typical example: elimination of interunit revenue and expense in P&L:
    The company X sold iron ore (its finished product) to Y company-partner. Usually, the P&L revenue accounts have subassignment by the company-partner.
    The company Y wrote off the bought ore to its production in progress. Usually, expense items of P&L don't have subassignment by the company-partner.
    The system encountering an amount on the P&L revenue item, looks for unit-partner and deducts the amount from the revenue of company X and expenses of unit-partner, regardless of the fact that  unit-partner doesn't show in P&L any such operations between companies.
    So, if you have enough information from both ends of pairs of cons units - use two-sided elimination. Otherwise, you simply have to aplly one-sided elimination.
    Hope this helps.

  • Two sided printing HP Officejet 4630

    How to use the two sided printing with the HP Officejst 4630. I see how to use two sided copy.

    Hi,
    It has a duplexer that means you can print both sides automatically. Please try (from page #10 of its manual):
    To print on both sides of the page
    1. On the File menu in your software, click Print.
    2. Make sure your printer is selected.
    3. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box.
    Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties, Options, Printer Setup, Printer Properties, Printer, or Preferences.
    4. Select the appropriate options.
        ● On the Paper/Quality tab, select the appropriate paper type from the Media drop-down list in the Tray Selection area, and then select the appropriate print quality in the Quality Settings area.
        ● Click the Advanced button, in the Paper/Output area, select the appropriate paper size from the Paper Size drop-down list.
    5. On the Layout tab, select Flip on Long Edge or Flip on Short Edge from the Print on Both Sides drop-down list.
    6. Click OK to print.
    Regards.

  • Mac can't remember two sided printing?

    I print a document using two sided printing. To do that in Layout I set Two-Sided: long edge binding. Then I print a second document using "Last Used Settings". It remembers the other settings, but forgets about two-sided and sets it back to "Off" each time. Is there a way to get it to remember my settings? I'm using an HP Color LaserJet CP2025dn printer. Thanks.

    Have you tried running the Help > Repair Acrobat Installation command to see if it corrects the problem?

  • Is two-sided printing possible with Keynote?

    The power point slides for one of my classes opens in keynote so I have to print from there but my question is, is it possible to print on both sides when using keynote? When I go to print, and then the printing options I can see a two-sided printing option but for some reason I'm unable to click on it. I don't think its because of the printer I'm using because I've printed on both sides using Microsoft word with my printer before. I just can't seem to do it with keynote.
    Should I just copy & paste to Pages to use two-sided printing?
    Message was edited by: AshesAshes

    I just checked any I can select two sided printing with my printer in Keynote, so I don't know why you wouldn't be able to if you have a printer that is capable of it.
    But instead of copy and paste, I would export it as a .pdf (Share>Export>pdf) and then you can try to print two sided in Preview and if that doesn't work, then add the .pdf files to Pages and print.

  • Two sided printing on an HP Officejet 6500 Wireless

    When I print using two sided the printer cuts off the top half of the second side. It misses several lines of print. If I print the same document and do not make it two sided it prints properly. If I try to print 4 pages two sided - it will print the first one, bottom half of the second and then leave it in the print q with an error????

    I don't think that printer supports AirPrint. To get it to work you will need to install something like Printopia. That's what I had to do and it works great.

    I have a HP Photosmart c7280 All-in-One printer and a Macbook Air that runs the Lion operating system (10.7.1).
    I am trying and needing to print via the "Two-sided" option that appears under the "Layout" pull down tab option, however, the "Two-Sided" option appears to be greyed out as if you are not allowed to use it.  I am sure that that is not the case I just do not know how to unlock it yet I guess?
    I just made sure that all of my software was up to date and it is currently.
    Everything else is perfect about the printer and I have been using it for years, so thank you!  I would just like to know what on earth I am doing wrong or need to do to unlock that "Two-sided" setting, so I do not waste a ton of paper!  Thanks again!

    Hi,
    Please try the following settings:
    1.From the application used to print, click the File menu, then select Print. The Print window appears.
    NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the blue triangle next to the printer name to see all available settings.
    2. To select the binding type click the lowest selection box listed as Copies & Pages.
    3. Select Layout from the drop-down menu.
    4. Set the Two-Sided option as Long-Edge binding.
    If I'm not wrong, the duplexer support only A4 and Letter sizes
    You may save the settings for future use by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...
    Please let me know if you were able to successfully perform two-sided printing.

    When using a pages template to create a two-sided brochure, the second page needs to be reversed (upside down) for correct printing when emailing to an outside printer sources.  How do I reverse the page within the pages app?

    IF you are using a printer with 2-sided printing, in the expanded print dialog you will have a selection for long-edge binding OR short-edge binding. Whichever setting you have set, switch to the other one.
