Problem Watching Xfinity TV Go (App)

I have been trying to catch up on the show 12 Monkeys. For the last day now, when I try and watch S1 Ep7 "The Keys" on my Samsung Galaxy S5, I get the error code 106000.5 and to try later. What is this error code and when can I watch this episode?

It seems to be quite intermittent. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Sometimes rebooting the phone makes a difference. My phone is normally on my Wi-Fi. But sometimes it will work on the AT&T lte net but not on the Wi-Fi net. You would think that Comcast could fix this since at the same times I can access other sites and other streaming videos. So it is clearly a bug in the Xfinity TV Go App and the way it works with Android and/or the Comcast stream servers. I would also like it if there were more channels that I could watch live, for example Comedy Central. I can watch the repeats later via the Comedy Central app but not live when it is on.

    Using the Xfinity GO TV app on my iPad 3 I'm receiving error 3305 "there was a problem connecting with the server" for a few specific live tv channels (MSNBC, CNBC, and others) when others are working fine on my ipad 3. I'm using this ipad exclusively in my home and it's wifi only. Again, it's wireless only ipad and some channels work fine. What's the fix? I've logged out and back in and it's still not working. Keep in mind these channels have worked fine in the very recent past on my iPad. For instance the other day I was watching MSNBC on my iPad. Now I get the 3305 error every time I try to watch it. How do I fix this? Please.
    On my desktop computer the Xfinity Go TV app works perfectly with ALL channels yet the wifi ipad does not. This is very confusing and frustrating. Is there anyone who can help me out with this? Please.

    Same issue. MSNBC live was working fine for me but now it will not load at all. This 3305 error is throughout Comcast on several channels and other threads on the internet shows it's been going on for years. Comcast should be able to fix it since it's been showing up since 2012. 

  • Xfinity tv iPad app: Play Now gives "Network Unavailable" error

    When I try to use the "Play Now" function on the xfinity tv iPad app, I get this error whenever I try click "Play": "Network Unavailable. Please check your internet connection or proxy settings and try again." This is on an iPad sitting on my home network -- no proxy, strong signal. No other network issues on the iPad (I can browse, use Netflix streaming, etc.). I tried signing out and signing back in, tried deleting the app and re-installing. I can browse all of the other content in the app, so the app itself is clearly connecting to the network just fine -- it just can't play any content. Any ideas? Anyone else see this error? 

    There are two problems mentioned in this thread. Mine was mostly that the "lock orientation" slider is now the "mute slider". Last I checked, I could watch a few movies using Play Now even though I don't subscribe to any premium channels. However, I do need to sign on to my Comcast account. 
    I did remove the app from my iPad and reinstall it from iTunes on my computer.
    The other user, jburst, was getting a "Network Unavailable" message after doing various troubleshooting. I don't know if they are still experiencing that. 
    dragynx, are you saying you are getting that "Network Unavailable" error? Have you totally quit the app? It's my understanding that the Play Now feature is available throughout the country. 
    I'm a customer like you trying to get it to work.

  • Problems with ABC and FOX apps

    For the past three nights, I've had problems watching shows on the ABC and FOX Now apps. I'll start a program, but then it will kick off after a few minutes and I get an error message. I can watch Netflix with no issues at all. Is anyone else having this problem? Anyone got any suggestions for fixing it? I've unplugged the Apple TV device to restart it a couple of times, to no avail.

    Content and Apple IDs -
    Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

    I have problems watching my photo. I open the photo App and after suddenly the Ipad reboots. The battery is not the problem because is full charged. Does someone knows what to do?

    Try these steps.
    Basic Troubleshooting
    These are basic steps you can try if apps suddenly quit on you or if the your IPad starts to behave erratically. Quite often these simple fixes will resolve your issue.
    Quit the app by double tapping the home button to bring up the multitasking/recents tray at the bottom, hold down on any of the app icons in the tray until all the icons wiggle, then tap the minus sign in the corner to quit the offending app or apps. Try your app again.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad until the red slider appears, then slide to the right to power off the iPad. Turn the iPad on again by pressing the sleep button until the Apple logo appears. Once the iPad has fully rebooted, find your app, and tap the icon to relaunch.
    Try a hard reset by pressing and holding down on the sleep button at the top of the iPad while holding down on the home button at the bottom, until the Apple logo appears and the iPad restarts. Launch the app again and see what happens.

  • Can't watch xfinity online

    I normally watch most TV legally online via the xfinity website. I pay for cable but prefer to watch the shows on my computer rather than a television. Over the past few months when I try watch xfinity TV shows online but they wont play past the first commercial. I can select my programing with the xfinity website and it appears to load normally. However, after the first segment of a show the commercials wont load and the program stops playing. I cant get the commercials to load even if I refresh the screen or wait for 10+ minutes. This didn't used to be a problem but now I can't watch any Bravo or E shows online (past the first segments before the first commercial break). This may be the straw that finally breaks the camels back and gets me to cancel cable. I am happy to pay for access to the content menu (and watch it with ads) but I have no interest in watching the shows on a TV. Any suggestions to get it to work again online? I have already tried using my xfinity log in to access content via the network websites but this has presented a bunch of other problems... Please help. I just want to watch TV shows legally online.

    Thanks for the reply.  The issue is solely something to do with the site and Comcast streaming.  I have zero problems with flash or anything.  There are many shows and movies which DO work.  The only ones that don't work are the recently aired ones.  I suspect they are overloaded and don't know/care to correct it. I can watch the same show on my tablet just fine.  I can watch Hulu, Netflix, and Prime with zero problems.  The problem is only their xfintytv.com site. And I love their assumption that I'm a moron and that somehow flushing the modem makes a difference.  Their internet department could find no problems with my connection.  And no, I'm not trying access shows on a channel for which I have no subsription. And I get no error messages saying it is flash.  It simply refuses to load, even after 10 minutes, or loads but cannot come back from commercial break.   Sometimes it logs me out, sometimes not. And even after an hour and half, they still can't help me on the help line. We'll see if I ever hear back from their customer service.

    When I first downloaded the Xfinity TV GO App I had zero issues with streaming live tv but more importantly movies from my iPad 2.  Now it is popping up an error every time I try to watch a movie.  ESPN & ABC Family are the only two channels/movies that will stream.  Any ideas on how to fix this issue?  My Apple TV was bought new last Christmas.

    I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
    Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
    To close apps:   Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
    To solve internet problem, contact your provider.   Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies.   Your router may be old and slow.

    Personally, I would never use a debit card online, for security reasons.  If your card gets hacked its your money that is stolen.  At least with a credit card it is the card providers money that is stolen.
    Anyway,  I would delete the app and re-install.  If you paid for the app in the first place you will be able to re-install free of charge.  Also, the app should allow the in-app purchase to happen again as it should recognise that you have already purchased it previously.
    Finally, it might be that the 3G doesnt have as much ram as more recent models of iphone and you may have applications running in the background that are preventing the app to function with the in-app purchase unless you shut down any apps eating all you memory that are running in the background.  Shut-down these apps (and the simpson tap out app) by exiting to your home screen and double-tapping the home button to show what apps are running in the background.  press and hold any of the open apps until it starts shaking.  close all the apps down.  exit then re-launch the app.

Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
    After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.
    Thanks for your help indicating how I can save my projects and see them for example in an iphone for assurance that data is not lost.
    Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

    You've logged into your account and viewed your purchase history and there aren't any error messages shown (e.g. 'problem with a previous purchase'), and you haven't got any purchases due (e.g. pre-orders and/or subscriptions) : Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information ?

    No.  purchases are forever tied to the apple ID used to buy them.  Delete them and buy your own copies.

  • Problem watching video

    All of a sudden I have a problem watching video downloaded from the web. The videos seems to download fine, but when they begin to play in Safari, all I get is the audio. No video image plays at all. Any help on this would be appreciated.
