It's working fine ,
But the process Excel.Exe is still in memory even if i close the excel.
When i trying to call excel again,the new process Excel.Exe is created ?
My Question is
How I can terminate the process Excel.exe before trying to open an excel again ?

If I save the document then it opens fine, messing with default file associations does not resolve this problem, I've googled for ir it and some suggest unticking compatibility mode or "run as admin" for excel application, neither is selected in my case.
Outlook is configured to run as remote application from remoteApp server, this error is only occurring for one user, for others excel documents open just fine.

From your description, we can Create a trusted location follow these steps
Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Excel Options.
Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click
Trusted Locations.
If you want to create a trusted location that is not local to your computer, select the Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended) check
box.
Click Add new location.
IMPORTANT We recommended that you don't make your entire
Documents or My Documents folder a trusted location. Doing so creates a larger target for a hacker to potentially exploit and increases your security risk. Create a subfolder within Documents or My Documents, and make only that folder a trusted location.
In the Path box, type the name of the folder that you want to use as a trusted location, or click Browse to
locate the folder.
If you want to include subfolders as trusted locations, select the

In the Description box, type what you want to describe the purpose of the trusted location.

Another problem when trying to open iTunes8 for the first time

I have just downloaded iTunes8 and after the installation received the message: - "iTunes has been installed successfully./"
However, when trying to open it, I too have a problem and the message I get is: - "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please re-install iTunes."
The previous version ran OK and I have de-installed it and re-installed it 3 times and each time I get the same message that it has been installed successfully but the same message sayind ome files are missing when I try to open it.
I have checked the QTime is up to date and it is. Anyone else had this problem?

I am getting this error message as well. I have just downloaded Lightroom recently. I try to click on Lightroom / preferences....and nothing happens. I tried to uninstall and it is greyed out so I can't do that either. Suggestions? Please help?

Problem when trying to actualize excel spreadsheet - Excel Service - Secure Store Service

I encoutner a strange problem in SharePoint 2013
when trying to actualize Datas into a spreadsheet Excel Web Service <- RMQ: Both Service & Application are started
The goal is to connect the Excel Web spreadsheet to a SSAS Cube.
I use an account "proxy" SharePoint Secure Store Service because people who
connect to sharepoint don't have acces to the olap Cube.
However, when updating data in SharePoint, I encounter the following problem:
An error has occurred while attempting to access the application ID AccesExcel
from the Secure Store Service. Failed to update the following connections: XXXXXXX
Information: For testing the SharePoint access account doesn't have access to OLAP
and Excel connection uses SSS account (which of course it access to olap cube free).
Where do you think the problem could coming from ?
It seems to me that the SECURE STORE SERVICE service is "unstable".
Sensitive to the memory RAM of the server ?

We export it from java servlet. But we used ReportExportFormat._MSExcel (which is constant value 2 defined in crystal report SDK) for excel export. As I looked at your code sample in JSP page, I changed the "Excel" value from 2 to 6 which is ReportExportFormat._recordToMSExcel as in the sample code
We have this code snippet to set the export options.     (No change)
             ExportOptions exportOptions = new ExportOptions();
             exportOptions.setExportFormatType(ReportExportFormat.from_int(exportType.getId()));
             exportOptions.setFormatOptions(formatOptions);
And now CRExportType enum is defined as below with value changed from 2 to 6 for Excel.
    WORD("Word",1),
    EXCEL("Excel",6),   //_recordToMSExcel; _MSExcel=2 didn't work with error UnsupportedFormatException
    RTF("RTF", 3), //_RTF
    PDF("PDF", 5); //_PDF
After the change, it did work. So I'm still not clear why _MSExcel didn't work and what's the difference between _MSExcel(2) and _recordToMSExcel (6). But I'm good for now and thanks for your help.

Problem when trying to open a page 2nd time in Work space

Hi,
When I login to workspace for the first time using IE explorer and try to open the Financial Reports it works fine. Afte logging off and logging in again in the same IE explorer if I try to open the reports it throws an error saying that it doesnt exist.
Is it a bug?
I am using EPM version 11.1.1 and IE explorer 6.
have anyboady encountered with the same issue.

After rebooting the computer, I haven't been able to run some apps I use frequently, such as Boom Device, Dropbox, Google Drive, wich didn't show in the menu bar anymore and don't run even when clicking on their icons; or apps like Audacity (open source sound editor), All2mp3 (sound files converter to mp3); and other apps bought from the Mac App Store, as Funtastic Photos. This problem affects even applications as Word, Excel and Powerpoint... I think the problem has reached it's highest levels and I would like to know what can I do in order to reverse my iMac to a "normal" life... I should say that I haven't had any problems with any of the several Web Browsers I commonly use...

I open Photoshop cs5 version of bridge. Go to a folder that contains photos in .tif, ljpg, etc. file types. When I click on a .tif or .jpg file that I want to open in the raw window of bridge (which it has done for the past year) in opens instead in firefox. How do I stop this from happening????

It sounds like a problem with Photoshop rather than with Firefox. I suggest posting it on their forum @ http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop

Itunes says it encounters a problem when trying to open. What do I do?

Whenever I try to open itunes it says that it has encountered a problem and needs to close. It gives me the options to send an error report, don't send, and debug. Itunes was working fine earlier but it froze and now I can't open it again. My operating system is windows XP (Yes an old computer). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes several times and double checked that all atachments of itunes were deleted before restarting my computer to reinstall itunes both times. What's the issue? Thanks in advance.

Generate another of those error messages and click the "Click here" link in the error message box. What modname and modver are showing for the error? (Precise spelling please.)
If the error is a BEX and thus doesn't show an modname or modver, let us know what P1 through P9 items are showing for you instead.

What seems to be the problem when trying to open mozilla? Or when uninstalling??

I have a problem openning mozilla, every time I try to open this pops up "cun't load XPCOM" when I try uninstalling a message pops up saying "installer integrity check has failed.

Try to download and install a fresh copy of Firefox from [https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/new/#download-fx here], to stop the missing XPCOM.dll warning.

Mail hangs when trying to open excel file

Hi there,
I've installed goodreader, Docs to Go and numbers on my ipad. Unfortunately, mail hangs when i try to open a spreadsheet. The option to use either one of the apps pops up, however, i'm not able to select either numbers or Docs to Go to open the file.
I've restarted the ipad to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas about this?

Error code "-2146827284" when trying to open an Excel workbook using ActiveX

Hi all,
i have a problem using ActiveX to open excel files. I get error code "-2146827284" (unknown error) when trying to open a workbook. This problem occurs on only one machine i work with, on the others it works fine. All machines have the same setup, Excel97 and Excel2007 installed on them.
Any ideas??

Creation of the application object has nothing to do with opening the workbook, which is what is generating the error. If you are getting an error with opening the workbook then you either have the wrong path, a permissions issue, a network issue, or the file is already open.

Time out when trying to open Word/Excel document from portal

Several of our users have been timing out when trying to open/download documents stored in our portal.
The error message is "Download failed. Connection to server was reset."
Is there some obvious setting that I am missing here?
It happens with things as small as 200K - Word and Excel documents.

I did find a second copy, but this is identic with the one I already had in Lightroom, and I can see noe result of the clone process.

At the moment I would say it is uncertain whether Acrobat is completely ignoring the change, or whether the changes you are making aren't affecting the ink density. I have a suggestion for a test you could make to see which is the case.
When editing in Photoshop just add a box or mark on the image, for your tests.
- If this box does not appear in Acrobat, you know Acrobat is not seeing the edit
- If this box does appear in Acrobat, you know the problem is that your tool for changing ink densities is not taking effect.
