Problem while adding a new row to the table.

hello,
In my ADF form i have a table. and when i click on CreateInsert it add a new to the table but at the first. i want all the new rows to be added at the end of the table in a sequence. how can i do this?....
Thanks and Regards,
Rakshitha

Hi,
Try this:
DCIteratorBinding dciter;
BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
dciter = (DCIteratorBinding) bindings.get("findAllTestAndryIter");
ViewObjectImpl vo = dciter.getViewObject();
if (vo != null)
Row row = vo.createRow();
int rangeSize = vo.getRangeSize();
int rowsInRange = vo.getAllRowsInRange().length;
int insertPos = rowsInRange < rangeSize? rowsInRange: rangeSize - 1;
vo.insertRowAtRangeIndex(insertPos, row);
vo.setCurrentRow(row);
}

    elem_material type ref to if_wd_context_element.
    stru_material type sflight.

    call method node_material->create_element
    receiving
    element = elem_material.
    endif.
    call method elem_material->get_static_attributes
    importing
    static_attributes = stru_material .
    call method node_material->bind_structure

  • Adding a new row in the end!... Urgent...

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where i have a classic table with some of it's columns having default values. While using "Add Another Row", since these default values were not getting set, I used setAutoInsertion(false) on the tablebean, and used createRow and insertRow for adding new rows, but this new row gets added before my existing row. How to make it add after my existing row? I tried using vo.last()
    as suggested in some of the posts, but to no use.
    Thanks in Advance

    It is the framework behavior that when you add another row, the row is added as the last row in the current range. The existing last row in the current range is pushed into the next range.

    It is released for the adding the new fields i am cancelling the release , but i got a message like this
    Error while resetting release of segment 'segment name'.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Have you tried Cancelling the release before adding the version?
    Select the active version of the IDOC Segment and cancel its release first. Only then you will be able to add a version.
    Please let me know if it worked!

  • Problem while creating a new row

    I am trying to create a new row in FulfillmentLineEntryResultVORowImpl which will be within the CheckAvailabilityOutputVORowImpl.
    For that I am trying to do the following coding and I am getting the "NullPointerException" while creating the "flrow".
    Please look in the code and suggest me the correct way.

    FulfillmentLineEntryResultVOImpl fle = getFulfillmentLineEntryResult1();

    Hi,
    I am using transient VO.
    The code that i mentioned earlier is to create the dummy response for the web service in error condition.
    For normal condition we are getting data from XML and by using readXML I am generating row nicely.
    The piece of code for normal scenario where it is working nicely is...
    Document doc = sendMessage("CheckAvailabilityInput", headerNode);
    CheckAvailabilityOutputVOImpl outputVO = getCheckAvailabilityOutput1();
    outputVO.readXML(doc.getDocumentElement(), -1, getXslForReadXML());
    if (AppsLogger.isEnabled(AppsLogger.FINE)) {
    Node headerNode1 = (XMLNode)outputVO.writeXML(-1, XMLInterface.XML_OPT_ALL_ROWS | XMLInterface.XML_OPT_ASSOC_CONSISTENT);
    try {
    Writer sw = new StringWriter();
    ((XMLNode)headerNode1).print(sw);
    } catch (IOException e) {
    AppsLogger.write(this.getClass(),
    "Couldn't convert the VO to xml",
    AppsLogger.FINE);
    outputRow = (CheckAvailabilityOutputVORowImpl)outputVO.getRowAtRangeIndex(0);

  • Error while adding a new method to the Session Bean

    Hello everyone. I'm using jdev 11g, ejb, jpa & jsf. Everything works fine. But when I try to add a custom method to the Session Bean, I'm having an error.
    Here is my steps:
    1) I added a new method to SessionBean.java. Something like this:
    public void Hello() {
    System.out.println("Hello!");
    2) Then using Structure palette I exposed this method through Local interface and created data control
    3) Finally, I made a command button binded to this method (just droped it from DataControls.dcx to my page)
    When I start the page and click the button, I'm having the following error:
    Error 500--Internal Server Error

    ... (I've truncated the log because there is nothing important in the missing part)

    Yes, I have binding in the page def. Everything is correct there:
    <methodAction id="Hello" RequiresUpdateModel="true" Action="invokeMethod"
    MethodName="Hello" IsViewObjectMethod="false"
    DataControl="PriceServiceLocal"
    InstanceName="PriceServiceLocal.dataProvider"/>
    I've droped the method from the Data Controls panel

  • Problems with adding a new city to the weather on ipod touch

    I try to add a new city on the weather page of my ipod itouch and it does nothing.. so when i go into safari, it says safari is not connected to the internet and yet, i got full bars on my wifi. I am pretty new to this and the manuals don't help much. any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Ok, you are not connected to WiFi. Just because the wireless indicator is on doesn't mean you are actually connected, so
    Tap Settings > WiFi and look at which networks come up. If they have a lock symbol in the listing, you can't just tap on them to connect as they are encrypted and need a password to connect.
    Do you have a home wireless network setup? If you do and are using WEP, you need to do a couple of things: 1) set encryption to WPA-personnel or WPA2-personnel if you can; 2) if you can't set your router to those, use 128 bit WEP; 3) If using WEP, write down the hex key generated by the router in response to your password; 4) When you sign on, tell your touch which encryption you are using; 5) Enter your password or hex key (WEP only) to log on.
    Write back with more details if you can't connect. BTW, here's some info on WiFi on the touch: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398

  • Adding a new field to the table

    Hello friends,
    I have a custom table and is in  use from a long time now.
    Now i need to add a new field to that table.
    1 - can i go directly to the change mode and then add it or is their any other way that needs to be followed.
    2 - once added do i need to go to SE14 and do something thr for the changes done to the table.
    This table also has a table Maintenence generator. Do I need to do something thr.
    Thanks,
    Bob.

    Hi,
    Check whether the change in ur custom table is going to impact any Custom program or not.
    If its so then adjust ur ABAP code so as to fit with the new table.
    Decide whether this field is going to be aprt of primary key or simple field.
    Is there any data present in ur custom table already?
    Regards,
    Lakshman.

    if someone could help about what to do, i would be grateful..

    when defining a data source through the admin web page, don't add '!' in front of the password.
    ! is needed only when configuring a data source in the mapViewerConfig.xml file.

  • Problem while adding a new dimension in a existing cube with data in BW3.5

    Hi,
    We are trying to create a new dimension with new characteristics in a existing cube. But while activating we are getting error that "InfoCube contains data; intentional changes not permitted". Can we add a new dimension in a existing cube with data in BW3.5? If it is not possible then we can take the backup and delete the data from cube and then change the cube. But my question is that, when we will transport the cube with changes to quality then will it transport successfully or same procedure needs to be done there as well.
    Regards,
    Saikat

    hi,
    Adding new infoobject /dimension to the cube containing data in 3.5 is not possible.
    easier solution is create a new cube similar to old and add the new dimension and proceed.
    else you have to drop data and transport.

    Hi,
    Do u want to know about the authorization means go to table maintenance generator first.
    Now get the authorization object of your table.
    Goto transaction SU21.
    List of object class will be displayed.
    Double click the object class BC_A.
    Now a list of object will be displayed.
    Double click the object S_TABU_DIS (Table Maintenance)
    U will find wat all fields used in tht, ACTVT is the field which specifies the activities of ur table.
    Reward mark if this is useful.

    Yes I wonder it also. I do not have an access to their system where db exists. I am a developer.
    But When I look at toad, I see that some percent of the datafile is full and it is not online. I think it achieved to write to datafile before but now it gives errors. it is very strangeYou are a developer and you are allowed to make changes on the production system? Do you not have a DBA in house?
    Get your DBA to look into this matter at the earliest.
