Problem while opening PDF form in ABAP

Hello All,
We are getting error while opening results in trip transaction.The form we are using is standard PDF form.
I did all ADS configuartion.
But while opening the URL Http://Host name:port/AdobeDocumnetservices/config
it is asking me user name & password.I am giving user as ADSUSER.But it is not accepting.
ADSUSER is the user used in the RFC & services in JAVA.
(Java & Abap are in the same server).
Can anyone help me?

login to the server & go to
/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS01/j2ee/admin
run a file
./go
it will open the visual administrator
user id j2ee_admin
password is the master pasword which you gave while installation SAP.
and follow the path and check whether you have the entry or not.
Please make sure for your HTTP destination service configuration.
Visual Admin -> Server -> services -> Destination-> HTTP -> FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>
Do you have this entry?

also refer to sap installation guide where they have give something for adobe document serveres - post installation steps.

I am facing an propblem while openning the Interactive PDF. I created an interactive PDF in Adobe LiveCycle Designer v8.0.
The Adobe Reader was 8.1. The form was working well and after quite few days i am got this below message, but the same form was openning well in other systems with adobe reader 9.1 and i updated the reader with 9.1 in my system aslo and i am still getting this message. What would be the problem and kinldy provide a solution for this.

1. Check your Authorization
2. Are you using some other language in adobe form
3. Ask Your Basis team to restart the Server
4. Check if any upgrade needed for your Adobe reader
5. Increase the Virtual Memory of you are System.

Open form builder.
Make connection with database.
Now open the form.
Hope this works..

Problem while opening PDF attachment in Inbox

Hi all,
I am sending PDF attachment through email to inbox.
When am trying to open PDF attachment i am getting error-
'There was an eror opening this document.The fuile changed and couldnt be open'
When i click on attachment some bytes are getting transfere essage is displayed in lower toolbar.
Please guide to resolve this problem.

Upgrade to Netweaver causing problem while opening pdf file in the portal

After an upgrade to Netweaver 4.0, the following code for opening a pdf file constructed from a byte stream passed from an RFC fails.

We are also opening a pdf file constructed from a byte stream passed from an RFC. Our problem is that we are experiencing inconsistent results. The file appears to open on some PC workstations but not on others. When it doesn't work we simply get a blank screen in the window. Did you resolve your issue? If so, perhaps you can provide us with some suggestions for solving our problem.

Problem while opening Bex query on the web

Hello BW experts,
I have a problem while opening Bex query from my SAP Favorites.See below.
When i double click on the query, i get the following page, with the server name KBWS01QX.
But, from RSRT Tcode, select the query > query display as HTML > Click on ABAP Web , click execute as shown below, it is going to the correct URL as in the 2nd screen shot below.
My question is why is it going to the wrong URL when i open it from SAP Favorites menu?
I want it to open the same URL as it opened from RSRT(which is the right one)
What is the Config needed to make it to work from SAP favorites.
Any help would be appreciated.

From RSRT, this time I clicked on JAVA WEB, and i get the below URL, which is the same URL i was getting when i executed the query from SAP favorites.

Error while opening PDF in mail attachment

In smartform i am sending a mail with attachemnt as PDF file,there is one more option like preview of smartform .
issue is like i am able to see the preview of the same record but when it is sent in mail attachement,and while opening PDF its showing error that file can not be open it is corrupted.

That was my problem: binary data was incorrectly converted (often because of Unicode systems).
I returned
        bin_filesize          = v_len_in
        bin_file              = l_binfile
from the function module CONVERT_OTF, then converted the xstring data (l_binfile) into an internal table (t_objbin) to send to the mail send function with the following function module:
    CALL FUNCTION 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY'

      IMPORTING
        output_length = v_lines_bin
      TABLES
        binary_tab    = t_objbin.

Getting error while opening pdf on server

I am working on jdeveloper 11.1.1.4.0.
I have a use case where on click of link , generating a dynamic pdf. The pdf i am arranging with the help of itext through backing bean. It is generating as well downloading the pdf.I have used filedownloadlistner to call the generate and download pdf methods.
On integrated weblogic server the pdf is working fine, but when i deploy on server while opening pdf getting error :

If the pdf file don't open on the server where you created them, they won't open on the client side either.
The code you are using should be refactored to use different file names for the generated files. In a multi user environment (which every web application is) you overwrite the file generated with each new request, even before the file is loaded by a client. This will corrupt the file a client is loading and you get the error you see.
Next I would look into org.apache.commons.io package (http://commons.apache.org/io/) which has utility classes which allows easy handling of streams without looping over the data.

My Generated Spool request is PDF Spool. It contains Adobe Forms data. To Download Adobe form
             Spool (PDF Spool) into PDF format,

A)     Read PDF Spool data by using u2018FPCOMP_CREATE_PDF_FROM_SPOOLu2019 Function module.
B)     Assign the Output Data to XSTRING format
C)     Convert that XSTRING data to Binary Format using 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY' Function module.

Acrobat 9.4.4 crashes when open PDF forms

We are currently rollout out a Win7 imange and using Microsoft Configuration Manager's task sequence to install Acrobat 9.4.4. to the image. Acrobat works fine when opening regular PDF file. However, Acrobat crashes everytime when opening a PDF form. Our current workaround is repair Acrobat. Once its completed, Acrobat can open PDF forms without any problems. But, the repair takes ~20mins, I am seeking for a easier solution or perhap fix the installation in the image.
I reached out to our Acrobat Platinum support, my call was rerounted 3 times and I was on the phone more than 3 hours. No one wants to take my call and start troubleshoot. Very frustrated. Greatly appreciated for any suggestions and advice. Thank you.

Hi,
To display the Table in the Adobe Form you must create a WebDynpro Context.
In WebDynpro Context, in the main node create another node like A1 with cardinality 0..n and in this node create attributes FIELD1 and FIELD2 and so on.
Now goto method and in that method using code wizard read the node A1.
And use the below code snippet sample in your program, i.e. code this under respective method of the webdynpro.

*Define Internal Table and work area.

lr_node_info->bind_table( IT_TABLE ).
And now goto Layout and give the TemplateSource and after that it asks for the interface name fill on that and select the relevant context. Now the LiveCycle Designer opens. There goto DataView pallette, there you can see the context of the webdynpro, now you simply drag and drop that table, a table is being created in the Layout Designer.

Customized Workspace Cannot open PDF forms anymore

I have customizaed my workspace with Flex Builder 3, Flex SDK 2 Hotfix 3. In previous months, everything is ok, and my workspace with IE 7.0 can open PDF forms inside processes. However, I do not know what is changed, my previous customized workspaces and new customized workspace can not open PDFs inside IE, but works on Mozilla Firefox. I have also tested workspace source without changing anything and deploying my server. However it still can not open PDFs, blank part is shown inside the PDF frame.
It gives an javascript error, 'undefined' is null or not an object is given

PDF forms can be created using Acrobat or LiveCycle but the basic structure of the forms created are very different. If the form is created by Acrobat then Adobe Mobile Reader can open the form. If the form is created by LiveCycle then Adobe Mobile Reader cannot open the form and I suspect there maybe no iOS app that can process the form.
As noted, you need to use a computer to fill-in the form. You also might want to inform the bank about the issue.
