Problem whit openDocument URL command

Hi all
I have a problem when I try access for a url to report, I use this url http://(server):(port)/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?iDocID=(doc number)&apsuser=(user name)&apspassword=(password)&apsauthtype=secEntrerprise and not work the user is bad charge and the password is empty.
Any idea?

Hi Diego,
OpenDocument doesn't recognize any enterprise logon credentials passed in the URL. It recognizes only the logon token. The parameters you are using for logon is for viewrpt.cwr. For OpenDocument, you need to generate logontoken(you need to use sdk), then use the parameter "token" to pass it in URL.
There are two SAP notes about how to do that dependent on which platform you are using. You can seach by numbers in SAP support portal.

Variant problem - URL command

Hello,
I´m facing a problem when I use a BI 7.0 URL command with a variant.
I created a query with a hierarchy node variable for Cost Center characteristic.
Then I executed the query and saved 2 hierarchies nodes values for the variable in a variant.
When I execute the URL bellow, to call the web template with the saved variant, the input screen
shows me just one value for the hierarchy node.

We are in BW 3.5 SP12 and i think this note is not relevant for this version.
I´m in doubt if i need to set the color values again in URL and also the number of classes.
These parameters were filled in the template definition and i need to rebuild the template with newer breaks values.
Do you have idea if something is missing in the URL or any example ?

Problems whit command

I have problemas whit ./commadmin , when I execute this coman I have problems: display the next lines:

There is a patch for command-line, but you must open a tech support case to get it, until it's released.
Also, you have to "register" the mail service to the domain, before you can create users. You also must have run the dssetup script to prepare the directory server, before you set up the command-line utilities. You must be consistant with your naming conventions, as well.
The errors reported are those of missing files.

Problem with 'Edit Locally' command -- Due to IISProxy?

We have a problem with 'Edit Locally' command since we are using Windows Authentication. Our architecture is:
SAP EP 6.0 SP2 Patch 28 (Solaris)
IIS Proxy (Windows 2003)
The situation is:
If we access to SAP Portal using old url (directly to Solaris) using form-based authentication we do not have any problem with 'edit locally' command.
However, if we access to SAP Portal using IISProxy and Windows Authentication we get an 'Operation failed' error message.
     Java plug-in console shows the following message:

Now, we have tested with version 1.5.0_01 plugin version but the result is the same: 'Operation failed'
This is a very important topic to solve before installing Windows Authentication in a productive environment.
Has anybody any solution?

but, I had problem with the border in 'iFrame' Tag when opendocument url was used.
I executed the opendocument url in iFrame Tag. but iframe's border appeared.
I wanted to remove the border. so, I added frameboder = 'no' on attribute of the iframe.
but, border still remained.

Problem with opendoc url.

i am having a problem with opendoc url in my dashboard.my url is to open a webi report depends on two prompts given by the user.
i am using the following url and it is working fine.

when i am entering a value for prompt2 like "krishna distributors" its working fine.but the problem here is whenever i am entering a value for the second prompt with a value like (ex:) "ravi & ravi distributors" its giving an message "NO DATA TO RETRIEVE" because it is considering the & symbol in my prompt2 as another parameter as shown below.

Hi Ravi,
In Excel , & considers as "Concatenation. So it will not work properly. To make this work, use Dealer Number instead of Dealer name in ur example.
Eg:
Dealer Name                           Dealer Number
ravi & ravi distributors            D10001
krishna distributors                 D10002
If you use Dealer Number "D10001" you can get "ravi & ravi distributors " Information. In ur Dashboard Design, if the user clicks "ravi & ravi distributors" then pass "D10001" to the Opendoc and generate the report.
Try to not use which has special characters as the prompt in Xcelsius.

Hi,
I was using opendocument.aspx to open a report from BO in an asp.net application. I use the open document url as src in an iframe to display the reports. Everything works fine, but I have only one problem, when I navigate to another page I get small popup window which simply says Infoview error in the title bar. I get this window even If I just copy, paste the opendocument url directly in the browser.I guess this is something to do with the user session or user log out, but I'm not sure though. Any pointers would be helpful.

Help on URL Commands

Hi,
I have an HTML program, in which I have created a button.
On this Button, I am executing my URL.
Our problem is when the user clicks the button, my url getting executing & he can see the entrie link on the address bar with all the variables and filters which has been set.
Is there anyway to disable the address bar through url commands by which user cannot see the url.
I have also created the logoff button on the template which i have created. Can anyone please help in code how to logoff / disconnect from BW.

Hi Ramesh,
if you know a little of java script, you can easily do this. You can make the address bar of window disappear using a one line of code. Give it a try, if it fits yr needs.

Webi report using openDocument URL,the window does not close..

While viewing a Web intelligence report using openDocument URL, the window does not close after clicking on Document -> Close option, and the report remains open.
And if I close the browser, the session of the user in InfoVierw remains opened

OpenDocument URL to open a Webi Report

We are using OpenDocument URL to link Webi Documents to another one. Right now all the prompts are there in Webi Layer it self. In the new Project the universes will be pointing to BEx queries and they will have all prompts in the BEx layer itself. So in Webi layer we dont have to create prompts. My question is can we use same openDocument syntax(sample url when prompts are in Webi Layer--- http://Server:port/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?
sType=wid&iDocID=49543&sRefresh=Y&sWindow=New&lsSEnterYear=2006&lsMEnterState=Colorado) to pass parameters eventhough prompts are there at BEx layer?
Also in case we are in the same session,by default iOpenDocument will take that logon token and SSO will happen. How do we force OpenDocument to Prompt for logon credentials even though the session is open.

Created through:
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "Portal component - create an iView from a portal component contained in a deployed portal archive (PAR file)" <next> --> seleting "com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap" <next> --> webdynpro <next> --> finish.
Open object for editing...--> Object is a Template to Yes.
Result :
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "iview template- create an iView from an existing iView template" <next> which displays the same message.

Hi, I have problems with the vba command sendkeys in Access 2013.
I use a text field (no control) in a form. By means of the VBA command SendKeys "+ {DELETE}", 1 I get the text in memory from the text field, then place (paste) the text in a Word document. The command line sendkeys
is followed by moving the focus to a particular control. In Access 2003, which went smoothly. Now the sendkeys command is executed only in Access 2013 in the control that then receives focus. If the procedure ends with the sendkeys command then it works well.
The procedure with the sendkeys command is activated by a button on a form.

What did you mean that you no control? And how did you get the text in memory from the text field? Also I am not able to understand the exact reason that the command doesn't works in Access 2013.
And based on the test, sendkeys "+ {Delete}" works well for me when I set a focus for the textbox control. Here is th test code:

SendKeys "+ {DELETE}", 1

No you just need to turn on Tap to Click. Go into System Preferences - Trackpad and click the Point to Click tab and select the first box which will say Tap to Click and you should be in business.
