Problem with change of trial LR to Creative Cloud

I recently trialled LR5 and then purchased the $9.99 Creative Cloud package.  I can use PS and Br but LR wants to put in a code for redemption to use LR.  Any ideas how I get around this.  Have Googled but without luck.  Thanks.

If you reinstall the Lightroom through the Creative Cloud desktop app, the one you used to install Photoshop, it should activate.
Uninstall it first, through control panel, if you are using Windows, or through the proper uninstaller, if you are using Mac.

  • Help with ID free trial from the Creative Cloud

    I'm using the trial version of the Creative Cloud (on a PC with Windows XP) and had success downloading. However, when I try to launch the application ID I start receiveing errors.
    For example."The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll." was one error I recieved.  Then, "Cannot load the DYNAMICDOCUMENTS.RPLN plug-in. It is dependent on the TRANSPARENCY.RPLN plug-in, which failed to load. Please check documentaion for the TRANSPARENCY.RPLN plug-in." Then there will be another error about SVG EXPORT.APLN plug-in. 
    Then ultimately I get the force close error and it shuts down the app.  Is it a system error or application??

    You are recieving 2 error :-
    "The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll." 
    This particular error means that you have a problem with your OS install (it's missing a function that should be there).
    And is there any chance that you had problems installing one of the OS service packs?
    Upgrade to Win XP SP3 and then check.

  • Problems with Adobe ID/licensing the software Creative Cloud

    Hello,
    I have problem with licensing the software of Creative Cloud. All programs installed on my computer and working fine. But the software keeps asking (around 1/2 days),
    for licensing the software. For example: when I tried to open Photoshop this day I get the warning sign/pop-up about 'licensing the product', when I click that I get another pop-up about finishing my Adobe ID. After I click that, it goes to internet --> Adobe account where I have to sign in (mail + password). I do that and then the site remains loading the page. Once it did enter into my ADobe ID, and everything was fine, Creative Cloud was mentioned and paid etc in my account. So I hope u can help me further, Thanks in advance! grt Marcel

    Hi Marcel,
    Please try deleting these folders from these locations and try launching any apps. It will ask you to license the software so enter your credentials and that should fix the issue.
    Windows:
    Delete these folders
    SLStore from C:\ProgramData\Adobe
    SLCache from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
    OOBE from C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
    Mac:
    Delete SLStore and SLCache from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
    Delete OOBE from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  • Having problem with change of name in the datagrid Coding

    I am having problem with changing the name of the datagrid header text name for one of the data either in the flash file or the php file.
    The thing is i want to change the Course_Name to Course Name that has no underscore so that it will look nicer in the datagrid but if I change it in the php file like SELECT Course_Name as 'Course Name' ....., it will not turn out in the datagrid when I CTRL ENTER the flash file but the others like Price,description and display is shown.
    There is no problem with my php code but I do not know how to change the Course_Name into Course Name so please help me resolve this error that I am having.

    i don't see where you're calling your php file in your code, but change 'Course Name' to 'Course_Name' (or vice-versa) there.

  • Problem with changing Label in Bridge CS3 and CS6

    Hi there,
    I am having some problem with changing Label in Bridge CS3 and CS6 in windows.
    1. In Bridge CS3 (Windows XP), most of the time with most of the files, there is no problem. But I found that in some files, the Label does not get changed. I usually change Label by right clicking on the picture, then Label and select any Label. When I do so in those files, nothing happens. But when I rename the file by changing or adding just a single character, then it works. And if I again rename to original name, it still works. But without renaming the Label does not change. Again this does not happen with all pictures, but occationally with some. We usually receive pictures from different clients for editing purpose.
    2. In Bridge CS6 (Windows 7), if you create lot of Path using Pen tool in Photoshop for the purpose of removing background, you save the file, close, and change Label in Bridge, again open the file in Photoshop, you see no Path in the Path Pallette. So that means, changing Label works, but it removes the Path from the file. But if there is small amount of path, then no prboblem. But if there is lot of path, like you need to create for a necklace to remove background, then the problem arises.
    I am using Bridge for a purpose where it is very helpful so I really need to use Bridge, and Labeling feature is the most important to me, but after feaguring out this problem, I am really tensed as to whether or not I will find a solution to this. So any help, guidance will really be appreciated.

    I have re-checked the issue and I found that the problem is with JPG file.
    I wasn't even aware you could save a path to a jpeg file (always use PSD because of wanting to keep the Alpha Channel, jpeg only can contain 1 layer and no alpha channels and/or transparency).
    However I tried it on a file with a simple path and one with a complex path. It seems indeed you have found a bug. The simple path is no problem but the more complex path is indeed disappearing.
    It is not only label but also rate or adding IPTC in the description field. The moment metadata is saved to this jpeg file and reopened the earlier present work path of a more complex path is gone.
    Despite the fact that to my opinion a jpeg is not the most suitable file format for saving a work path this should not happen. If a work path is saved to a jpeg then it should be kept saved after just altering metadata in Bridge.
    It still is the same behavior in Bridge CC because that is what I use. Don't know when it started but it still needs to be repaired

    I have a SSRS 2012 and SQL Server 2012. These programs is on WIndows Server 2012.
    I need to link SSRS to the new database instance. For this I run SSRS Configeration Manager, open tab Database, click Change Database. Then I choose option "Choose an existing report server database", click Next, write the server name, test
    connection (it's successed) and push Next again. Then I see this error message:
    Error
    The feature: "Using other editions of SQL Server for report data sources and/or the report server database" is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services.
    OK   
    I'm confused, cause I have compatible versions of programs and THIS error.
    Please, help me.

    From the error message, we can know that the issue may be caused by incorrect editions of SQL Server for report data sources are used as the Report Server Database.
    When creating a report server database, please be aware that not all editions of SQL Server can be used to host the database. So we should make sure that we have used the correct database as the

       The description of the field VBKD-BSTKD will appear in sales order (VA01/02/03) Header  Order data tab.
    If you notice the text for below one it is PO Number where Number starts with upper-case N and it iis not the one which you changed.
    Also this is a hyperlink to sales header order data screen.
    You need to enhance the code via sales exit to fix this.

    Adobe has heavily pirated products and to detect and combat this, Adobe ties a particular user login and registrations to a country and probably requires payment from that country as well.
    I suspect the reason that PayPal is only accepted in the US is because PayPal doesn't provide country information for Adobe to validate where the payments are from so Adobe has to assume PayPal is from US customers, and if you're not a US customer you can't use PayPal.
    As far as a particular credit card (CC) not being accepted or freelancers not having credit cards, I would think some CCs would be accepted by whatever payments servicer Adobe uses in particular markets but not all CCs because of the fraud rating of their network or particular rules the CC requires merchants to follow, and while free-lancers may not have a credit rating that allows them to hold a credit card, they likely have a bank account, and banks issue debit cards that are accepted in place of credit cards.
    Furthermore, there are ways to buy a CC pre-paid subscription for a single payment for 3 months or a year at a time, from third-party resellers, though I'm not sure what countries they are for, but Amazon is one of those resellers:

    Currently you cannot change the primary admin on a CCT membership. As a workaround, follow these steps:
    Cancel the existing team membership: You can cancel the membership without any penalty. The accounts for team members change to trial mode. Members can still access their saved data in the cloud storage. To cancel the membership, click theChat Now button at the bottom of this page to initiate chat with a live agent.
    Buy a new team membership; use the Adobe ID for the new primary admin.
    Reinvite team members using the new primary admin account.
    The team members have to accept the invitation and log in to the Creative Cloud Desktop app again. Their apps are activated under the new team account.

    Nothing personal to you or Rajshee, but this is exactly why I absolutely despise these "community forums" (not just Adobe but any company).  I called the Tech Support phone line today after digging and digging for a phone number, and they told me the exact opposite, and they did it a lot faster than it was possible to get a forum response.  (That's really not personal, because you can't control that, but it's a fact.)
    Their answer: As long as I'm signed in with the same ID, I can try, say, Photoshop CC on my iMac at home and also try Acrobat Pro CC on my Windows 7 machine at work.  Same account, same login, one trial.
    This makes complete sense to me as I'm financially on the hook (potentially) for the same package.  If I give away my login to someone else, which I wouldn't do, I'm still on the hook.  This is why the cloud approach to software is such genius and I applaud it.
    BTW, 99% of the "community forum" wrong answers come on Microsoft sites, so don't feel bad. 

  • How do I set up my Trial Version of Creative Cloud?

    This is probably a simple issue:
    I logged into my Adobe account to register for a Trial Version of Creative Cloud. 
    I don't know if it took effect--I received no notification or instructions.  But, now the "trial" button is greyed out, so I'm assuming I have it now.
    I see there are options to download various apps in the Cloud.  Shouldn't I just download them all?  (I thought they all came downloaded and ready to run.)
    And, with a trial version, will I be able to add CC to my laptop?  And, if not, can I set up another trial version on my laptop?

    The apps need to be installed selectively. They never install automatically. Once you are signed in, your trial starts  and you can do this on as amny systems as you like.

    Are you by chance already signed in with an existing Adobe ID? If so the Free Plan will be grayed out.
    If you are not signed in the please try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser, or even try a different browser.
