Problem with Message Bridge

Hi friends,
          I've a strange problem. I've posted a problem on another newsgroup concerning remote lookup as you can see below.
          I'm working on WLS8.1sp2. 2 clusters (front-end with webapps and back-end with ejbs with a firewall without nat between they). Message bridges deployed on back end.
          When that problem during loockup(see below) occurs I noticed also this exception regarding message bridge:
          ####<Jun 6, 2005 6:26:38 PM CEST> <Warning> <MessagingBridge> for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.System'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-200026> <Bridge "Bridge1-SourceWLXQueueSend > TargetWLSQueueSend" encountered some problems in one of its adapters or underlying systems. It stopped transferring messages and will try to reconnect to the adapters shortly. (The exception caught was weblogic.jms.common.LostServerException: weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException: ; nested exception is:
               java.io.EOFException.)>
          ####<Jun 6, 2005 6:26:38 PM CEST> <Error> <MessagingBridge> <ExecuteThread: '120' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default'> <<WLS Kernel>> <BEA1-009BCF7999A0A21B1158> <BEA-200015> <An error occurred in bridge "Bridge1-SourceWLXQueueSend > TargetWLSQueueSend" during the transfer of messages (javax.resource.ResourceException: Error receiving message).>
          I'm working on weblogic server 81.sp2.
          I've 2 clusters (front-end cluster with web apps and back-end cluster with ejbs) with 2 active server per cluster.
          Randomically when I try to make a lookup on the back-end cluster with a servlet deployed in the front-end cluster I received the following error:

• Problems with Messaging Bridge and MQ.

              Hi,
              I'm trying to use the Weblogic messaging bridge to provide a set of local queues
              to my application server from a set of MQ queues, using XA.
              My problem is that when the bridge starts up, it gives the following error:
              <Aug 5, 2002 4:35:14 PM BST> <Info> <MessagingBridge> <Bridge "BRIDGE.STATUS1"
              failed to connect to the source destination and will try again in 20 seconds.
              (javax.resource.spi.ResourceAllocationException: CreateManagedConnection Error:
              ConnectionFactory: failed to get initial context (InitialContextFactory =weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory,
              url = file:////blah/adminobjects, user name = null, password = null)>
              <Aug 5, 2002 4:35:14 PM BST> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <ListenThread listening
              on port 8051>
              I think the problem is as follows...
              This bridge should be connecting to a file-server JNDI implementation, and should
              therefore being trying to obtain a com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory
              initial context, not a weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory one. I have set up
              the destination in the weblogic console with a file server context, but this doesn't
              have any effect.
              The file server JNDI implementation definitely works, as I can access the queues
              directly and use them to call MDBs.
              Can anyone help?

              You mentioned that the patch initially worked. What did you do after
              that?
              You can turn on the messaging bridge debug by adding those to
              you script for starting the server:
              -Dweblogic.Debug.DebugMessagingBridgeStartup=true
              -Dweblogic.Debug.DebugMessagingBridgeRuntime=true
              See what you get in the server log.
              You need to post your config.xml and the script as well for further
              help.

• Problem with messaging bridge

              Hi
              I'm having some difficulties with the jms-notran-adp messaging brigdge.
              The messaging bridge won't work. I'm trying to bridge a MQS 5.2 queue to a weblogic
              7.0 queue. The MQS queue and connectionFactory can be found properly from the
              filesystem JNDI Provider (meaning I can send a message to this queue from a MDB)
              there is no error message during startup but when I try to redeplay there's a
              message saying:<error> <connector> >> Weblogic Messaging Bridge Adater (No TX)
              Error making initial connections for pool. Reason: Create ManagedConnection Error:
              Failed to start the connection>
              Thanks
              Flo

Here are the most seen problems when using bridge between WLS and
              MQSeries:
              1. You have to have some MQSeries stuff in your CLASSPAHT and PATH for
              starting
              the WebLogic Server that hosts the bridge. For details in the
              following docs:
              http://dev2dev.bea.com/resourcelibrary/whitepapers.jsp?highlight=whitepapers
              and
              http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs70/adminguide/msgbridge.html
              2. if you have UserName configured for any BridgeDestination (or
              JMSBridgeDestination), you have to provide a UserPassword as well.
              3. The MQSeries server has to be on the same machine for exactly-once
              QOS to work.
              4. It is recommended that you put your adapter rar files in a directory
              other than
              the applications directory and point to that directory in the
              config.xml.
              In addition, you can always turn on debug to see more detailed error
              messages using
              -Dweblogic.Debug.DebugMessagingBridgeStartup=true
              -Dweblogic.Debug.DebugMessagingBridgeRuntime=true
              Hope this helps.

I have problem with adobe bridge cs6. Every time I open it Bridge tells me to Purge Cache. I have CS6 on two computers and it works fine on one of them. I have tried to reinstall it without succeeding to fix the problem. Does anyone have the same problem and a solution to it?
"Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in Cache Preferences to correct the situation."

You must have a Mac.  Try this.
Quit Bridge, from user library (NOT system and root library) preferences folder find and delete the com.adobe.bridge5.plist file manual. Do this also in same user library caches folder (Caches/Adobe/Bridge CS6) and inhere find and the folder called 'cache' and drag it to the trash.
restart Bridge holding down option key and choose reset preferences, then try again.

• Problem with message choice

Hi, all, I have a problem with message choice because when I get the value it returns the value of index row.
For example I have this message choice:
<messageChoice model="${bindings.Dept}" readOnly="false" required="no" name="dpt">
<contents childData="${bindings.Dept.displayData}">
<option model="${uix.current}"/>
</contents>
</messageChoice>
If I select the first data of message choice it returns 0, if I select the second data it returns 1 and so on. But I want to return the value of field dept and in message choice I show the dept_name field.
Can anyone tell me how do this? It's urgent because I haven't much time to do this work.
Thanks, Matteo.

Matteo,
Maybe this works for you as well:
<messageChoice model="${bindings.DeptLOV}" name="dpt">
<contents childData="${bindings.DeptList.rangeSet}">
<option value="${uix.current.dept}" text="${uix.current.dept_name}"/>
</contents>
</messageChoice>
where DeptLOV is a LOV List type binding, and DeptList is a Range type binding that is based upon the Dept iterator. If one of these three does not exist in your project yet, you should create them manually via the Structure palette.

Hi,
To know the correct error Take the Inbound Payload from MONI and Test it in Mapping Test TAB. then u will come to know the exact error.
Procedure to take the Payload
goto MONI-Double click on MessageInbound Message ( CENTRAL ) --Payloads ---Double click on MainDocument ( application/xml ) -Just Right Click on the second window-View Source
then now Copy this and paste it in Mapping Test and Execute.

• Problem with message count

hello ,
I have problem with message count, in my inbox there are more than 0 messages but i got result of
Folder inbox = store.getFolder("Inbox")
int c =inbox.getMessageCount()
of c is 0
i.e i got c as zero rather than 5.

I am seeing the same thing and I agree with MathiasF's observation.  My count seems to increase when I do a search for mail on the server.  This has happened previously (iOS 5.x) but ending the Mail app always fixed it.  The only way I can correct the count now is if I turn off sync for Mail on the Exchange account and re-enable.  This clears my mail and causes my phone to go out and redownload.  Rebooting and resetting the iPhone has not helped.
I'm on Sprint - 32GB White iPhone 4S running iOS 6.0 (10A403)

• Strange Problems with Messages

I've been experiencing some strange problems with Messages.
1) Sometimes my messages are displayed on screen. I type into the input box and hit enters. Then message disappears and does not show above in the chat box. I later find out that the message was delivered yet it doesn't show up in my chat.
2) Sometimes I see duplicate Chat windows on the left rail for the same contact, this is usually in conjuction with error #1.
3) Sometimes I can unable to dlete chat windows. I click the x and it does nothing. I right click and choose Close Chat and it does nothing

• Problems with Activex bridge

I am having problems with my VB 6.0 program that uses a Java Activex Bridge. When I shut down my VB 6.0 application the service control manager logs a message in the event log that the program terminated unexpectedly.
I have done some analysis and I have realised that the service control manager outputs this message only when my VB application creates the Java activex object. It appears that for some reason the Java object does not destruct cleanly.
I have got 2 versions of Java plug-in 1.3.0 and 1.3.0_02. Only 1.3.0_02 is enabled. I am not sure whether are any known issues with the version of the plug-in I am using which causes this behaviour.
I will be grateful for any suggestion which would help me in resolving the above problem.

Check the registry. The activeX has a CLSID, the CLSID points to a jar file (HKCR/CLSID/{$CLSID}) does this jar exist?
Does the beans.ocx used exist. Is it used in a plug-in that works (in the control panel there a Java Plug in for each version).

• Problem with Adobe Bridge

Hello. I have just downloaded a trial version of Adobe Photoshop - to try it out before I buy it. However, I am having problems with not being able to view images and folders I have just created in Adobe Bridge. For example, I've just edited an image but I can only see it in Finder, not in Adobe Bridge. Is this an issue with cached files and is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks Curt, In Bridge I can see all the images in my Photo library that were created previously (everything using Adobe Lightroom). The issue has only arisen with new images, and folders, that I am creating now - since downloading the trial version of Photoshop. For example, an image I shoot now and save on my hard drive, will not show up in Bridge, nor will a folder I create say for today's images. I can see everything however in the Mac 'Finder' program, so I know they are there.
I have Adobe Bridge CS6 BUT I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 - both are trial versions. Could this be the issue, I don't think so but I am trying to download the trial of Adobe PS6 as its that version that I would buy. I inadvertently downloaded, and installed, the trial version of PS CS5.

I assume you mean "unlocked and restored." My apologies if I msunderstand, but if you unlocked it yourself, then you must have hacked it. If it was originally locked at the time of purchase, only that carrier can unlock it.

• Problems with messaging

iv got two issues with my iphone messages
1. sometimes one particular number will not receive messages for around 2 days then all of a sudden will get a flood of texts off me from testing it.. i can still receive the messages from them though
2. sometimes messages from that number become muddled up.. i might send a text three days ago and then send one on the current day and they will get half of the text three days ago and half of the one i just sent so it makes no sense.. Same if i receive one from them it will be half of one they sent a few days ago and half the one they sent on the day.. can be anything up to three different messages in one depending on how long the text is..
Any ideas how i can solve these issues?
iv spoke to network provider for the first issue and there looking into it.. my friend has tried speaking to theirs and they just keep blaming mine and saying there's nothing more they can do apart from get me to get in touch with my service provider.. Very annoying
any help would be good cheers

I have similar issues, I am using Iphone 4 with vodafone (Australia) as provider.
Sometimes when I try to access my email or messages, the phone will have a pop up "Cannot find cellular" (or something like that). However the signal bar is clearly showing full bars of signals. When this happens, I can't receive my email/messages, but send are usually ok.
When I am lucky, the phone will fix itself and I will get all the emails/messages in the next 30mins or so. But Majority of the time I have to restart my phone and then my message/email inbox will be flooded with email/txt.
Is this a problem with the iphone? or my provider? Because vodafone is known to have issues...
