Problem with my update query

Hello ,
I v created a process that update a flag on my table (T_HOURS)
UPDATE T_HOURS set
HOUR_DEC=:P5_ELE1_HOURE where ID_JOB=:P5_JOB_ID;
The flag HOUR_DEC type is varchar2(5) it contain a hour value (HH24:MM)
but i had this ms error while execting the query
ORA-01461: a value “LONG” can be dependent only in one column of the type “LONG” ORA-02063:

Hello,
May you access to your table T_HOURS via DBLINK ???
I have always this error when I create DML processes on tables over DBLINK
with the use of items.
The only issue I find is to assign the item values (in your case, :P5_ELE1_HOURS
and :P5_JOB_ID) into local PL/SQL variables in the process and make the DML SQL with the local variables.
SO try this :
declare W_ELE1_HOURE varchar2(5);
W_JOB_ID number;
begin
W_ELE1_HOURE:=:P5_ELE1_HOURE;
W_JOB_ID :=P5_JOB_ID ;
UPDATE T_HOURS set
HOUR_DEC=W_ELE1_HOURE where ID_JOB=W_JOB_ID;
end;
