Problems Batch Input BDC-okCODE = LIST

Hi experts!!
I've a batch Input that must change the data from the infotype 2001. I do this steps...
1. Go to PA30
2. Insert the pernr and the code 2001
3. Press the button LIST
4. Choice the row I want to change, only the rows that are ocked
5. Update and save...
I'm trying to do this with a Batch Input, but I don't know how to indicate what row I want to change...I have a data that has all the positions that are locked in 2001 but I don't know how to know what row is from what row of my table... can anybody help me?

Hi Rebeca,
It is difficult to find the locked recods dynamically using your BDC approach.
The other way to delete the locked records is....
Select the all the records from PA2001 infotype where SPRPS equal to 'X' ( Locked Entries ) into the itab internal table.
later Loop the table and delete the record from 2001 using BDC on PA30.
Do the recording for deleting individual record.

What i did is setting the value of the incremented number to 09 if it's greater than 09 but i'm not sure it's the right way to do it cause i get only 9 records

If it is table control you may have to pass PageDown after 9 rec & again start with (01)
record number remains 1 to 9 but Top_line parameter will change to 9or10 after 1 pagedown.
Cxould be P++
you can record Pagedown & check recording.

When coding using BDC OKCODE, some of those function codes require a "=" sign prefix, while others requires the '/' sign.
Let's take a look at PA30, for example:

PERFORM bdc_field USING 'BDC_OKCODE' '/E'. " for Cancel
I don't see this info in the Menu Painter (trans. SE41).
How can I know, without recording using SHDB, what is the required prefix for each function code?

Problem with "Input text with List of Value"

I have a table where i am storing country code using "Input text with List of Value". I want a another non base table item where i would like to show the "Country Name" of the select LOV. Kindly let know a way to implement the LOV where it returns the "Country code" to base table item and "Country name" to the non base table item.

Change document log is created when you manually change the customer using XD02 but when run the Batch/BDC the values are Changed but the change document is not created.

LSMW for routing with standard batch input

Hello All,
I am trying to prepare one LSMW for routing upload for PP module. Routing data contains header data, operation data and master inspection characteristics data.
I have created three source structures viz. material- task list header, task header data, operation and inspection.
Header has been assigned to target structure BIMPL- Batch Input Structure for Allocation of Mat. to Task Lists,
Task header data source structure has been assigned to BIPKO- Batch Input Structure for Task List Header,
Operation source structure has been assigned to target structure BIPPO- Batch input structure for task list operation,
and inspection source structure has been assigned to BIPMK- Inspection characteristics for batch input of task lists.
Every source structure has been identified with an identifier value of which have been set as H, I,J,K for all source structures resp.
The excel file has been prepared as follows,

I have mentioned here the combination of first two structures only. But it contains data of other two source structures as well (for identifier J & K).
The data from the excel is copied to the flat file and same is specified in LSMW in the step 'Specify file'.
In 'Assign file' step the flat file is assigned to all the four source structure.
Now at the time of reading data system is throwing me an error as 'Ensure field sequence is correct for data for mutiple source structures' Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060026
How to overcome this?

Authorisation to transactions for batch input

We have a reuirement where in the user should have access to create vendors through batch input (BDC) but the user should not have direct access to tcode XK01. Is this possible?

you can do that, normally what is followed in that case is to designate a single user Id for BDC executiona nd give it all the access so that it can be useful in tracking down the changes and all the other work too.
Also, this will help in avoiding other users from making changes,
But for using this option you have to discuss with you project manager and the client.

Batch Input Problem with PB10 - Updating IT22 via BDC

Hi out there,
I'm using PB10 to persist new applicants data.
Im processing after save the IT22.
In dialogmode i can just go back without putting input to it22. After going back the new applicant is saved successfully. Now it is possible to use pb30 to maintain (or new creation) of it22 for this applicant.
Now I recorded this "process" and after call transaction the system brings back an error that mandatory field p0022-endda is missing. this error exists also, if i fill the recorded map with data.
Batch Input in Background Mode ->Error
Batch Input in Dialog Mode -> IT22 Dialog appears with empty data
....Using "normal" Dialog Transaction OK!

Is it really FB01<b>L</b>? I cannot find it in my 46c system?
Anyway, you can control this message as follows. Go to SM30, enter V_T100C and 'Maintain'. Enter 'F5' for application area in the subsequent pop-up.
In the table control, see if message number 192 is already there. If it is there, then change the value under column 'BatchI' to 'I' and save. If it is not there, then enter a new record for 192.

Problems while creating a batch input

Hi Experts,
I tried to create a batch input program for the transaction CRMD_ORDER for some changes on to the configuration tab to enable the BOM to work. This cannot be done by the BAPIs. I have included the batch input program in a RFC enabled function module to do this job. I am getting the error control framework: fatal error - GUI cannot be reached and Runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION has occured. This happens only in the mode N, if i re run the session with the other modes there are no problems.
I am call the function module through a method in the controller class.

I tried that option too. Ufortunately the same error has happened. The problem is solved using 3 other function modules, by not using the BDC.

"no batch input data for screen SAPLMR!M 6220 in BDC while holding Invoice

     I am facing a problem while uploading Invoice data and to hold the data in miro transaction I am getting the error
     "no batch input data for screen SAPLMR!M 6220 " . It is for non PO data only I am facing this problem using BDC.
     But for Po based Invoice I am getting Invoice number while holding the Invoice. I am Using SHBDB to record the
      transaction   details

            I am doing it in same transaction MIRO for both PO and NON-PO. I am able to generate an Invoice number while holding   the Invoice For NON-PO taking vendor as invoice Party .While I am recording it in SHDB and trying to use the
same in my BDC Programe it is throughing this error and also by testing the program which has been generated by the
SHDB trnasaction i am getting the same Error . Is there any diferrent trnasaction that is used to hold NON_PO invoice ?
Where Invoice number will be generated automatically ?

'S' message in BDC and message of type 'A' in batch input session

We have to upload data for ABZON transaction of assets. When we use LSMW with recording method and try to upload say 3 records. All teh records are updated successfully but the batch input session log says last two records with a message of type 'A' "leave transaction is not possible in batch input"
But when we upload the same data with BDC program with call transaction then teh log shows same message with type 'S'.
what could be the reason for this?
Though data gets uploaded successfully the 'A' message is being displayed in LSMW batch input log.
if anyone has encountered a similar problem pls let us know how to resolve this asap.

Now i planned to write a BDC program for the above Transaction so that i can upload data to the Database table from a flat file.

Then i defined an internal table which contains the same fields as those in my Screen and Transaction.
I populated the internal table from a flat file using GUI_UPLOAD function module.
I want to clarify - I got this flat file by using the GUI_DOWNLOAD module and later i uploaded the same file using GUI_UPLOAD.
I tested whether the internal table is populated or not using LOOP AT ITAB. WRITE Statements.

I checked for errors, activated and executed.
I gave session name and executed, it generated same number of sessions as number of records.
I went to SM35 and Processed one of the sessions in foreground.
It brought my screen up with all fields fill up by the fields of first record in the internal table and with
OK Code popping up.
I check the OK Code.
Now the problem has come up, its says
*No batch input data for screen SAPMZ_TPSCREEN02 1000 *
My session was now incorrectly processed,
Please help me to fix this problem.
I searched so many forums and google it a lot.
But i didn't find any clue.
Kindly take your time and have a look at this problem and let me know how can i fix it.

I used this code to convert the date format. I'm still getting the short dump.

A strange problem about batch input (VA01)

Dear experts,
I have created one batch input program about VA01,When the selection screen is full window and run,one error occurs.Opposition the screen is not full window ,and the error do not occur.

Hi Collysun,
The problem what you are facing is due to the resolution setting of individual desktop. This is a known issue in BDC's. Pls do one more recording of VA01 by putting the screen into default size from the tri color button that comes at the right corner of the application tool bar of your session window.
The advantage is that when the BDC is executed in background automatically the size of the session which is doing the job for you goes to the original size as the one in the recording and it will work irrespective of the windows screen resolution.

No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY0 0120 when running BDC in background

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue "No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY0 0120" when running a BDC for VA01 in background.
The scenario is like we have EDI orders coming into SAP in the form Idocs. These EDI orders are processed by Function module
IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS. This FM module internally calls VA01 (Call Transaction) to create Sales Orders in SAP.
Now we have a scenario in which we want a popup screen to come up & ask for selection of record from list of records displayed on popup screen. In background since we can not show up a screen, we are programatically selecting the record we want & going ahead.
Now what is happening is during foerground the functionality is working abosultely fine, that is incoming idoc is getting posted successfully in SAP with status of 53. Incase of back ground processing of the same we are getting an error
No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY0 0120
I have checked this screen through screen painer(SE51) & i did not find any element on this screen but Element list
shows one field Syst-Xcode.
Kindly guide me how to fix the issue so that the same can work as expected in background.

Hi Chetan,
List screens utilize SAPMSSY0/0120. Please check within your ABAP coding if you have any customer exit that tries to issue WRITE statements. If so, either remove them or add logic to not issue them in background (e.g. SY-BATCH = 'X'). Another culprit might be a SUBMIT statement in a user exit, which triggers a report with list output. I'm not completely sure, but I think the screen is also used for some value helps (do you have any coding forcing a value help popup?).
