Problems generating csv using bat.xlt in CUCM 8.6.2

Hello gentlemen
I`m having some difficulties generating csv from the bat.xlt file downloaded from my CUCM publisher using excel 2010
I download the file, enable editing and macros, I hit the "create file format" button to generate the columns I need, all looks good so far..
after filling in some data in the 5 columns I need, witch are Device name, Decsription, Directory number, Display and Line text label (taking care to not enter illigal data, eg boolean, string, integer) I try to press the "Export to BAT format" button.
a popup message displays "please enter numeric value in the text boxes" and this popup will not go away no matter where I click inside excel after this
I try to enter a value above 0 in a text box, but I only get to enter a value in one of the boxes before the popup ruins the day, after that the popup message/error message appears immediately if I click anywhere in the spreadsheet
I have tried to save the file as an "Microsoft excel macro enabled worksheet" (.xlsm) but it doesnt seem to help
Thanks for your help!
.xlt file from CUCM included

  • Problem Generating PDF Using Adobe PDF as Driver

    I am using FM 10, experiencing problems in creating a pdf of a book. I use Adobe PDF as my print driver. The error said that a font,
    HelveticaNeueCond, was not available, and could not be embedded. I had never heard of this font as being in my book, but I downloaded it and installed it on my C drive in my WINDOWS/Fonts folder. Still got the same error!
    Also a pdf was made up to a certain page and then it failed. When I tried pdf ing that failed page, it worked. Then I tried to pdf the pages in between and it failed in a different spot.
    This failure makes no sense.
    I need help!

    There are hundreds of message similar to this one in the archives, so I'd suggest you start reading those, but in general:
    No one can do effective long-distance trouble shooting of your system without all the system details: FM and Acrobat versions, down to the patch levels (do Help > About), your OS, and amount of RAM and free disk space are important also.
    If you are running Windows XP, get the Microsoft Hot fix for all PostScript printers and install if before you do anything else.
    http://support.microsoft.com/?id=952909 (Gives details on the Hotfix)
    http://support.microsoft.com/Hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=952909&kbln=en-us (Direct Download Link)
    Reboot after installing it.
    Then, or start with these if you're not on XP:
    Set the Adobe Acroat printer as your system default printer.
    Be sure you are printing to the Acrobat printer with the Print Command and not using SaveAs PDF
    On the Frame Print dialog box, check Generate Acrobat Data and UNCHECK Print to File.

  • Problem generate report using ireport-0.5.1 on tomcat 4.1 + jdk1.3.1

    Hi,
    Below are my project environment:-
    JDK 1.3.1
    Tomcat 4.1
    Jasperreports 0.6.1
    iReport 0.5.1
    I manage to compile and generate the report in iReport. However when i write these code to export the jrprint temporary file to PDF file, the following error stack is displayed. My suspect is jdk library class imcompatible because I used jdk 1.5 to compile the jasper report while jdk 1.3 to compile my project which is built on top of struts 1.0.2

    Cursor sal_det Is Select e.* from emp e,dept d where d.dname = 'SALES'
    My requirement is to generate a csv ouput with the result set of cursors emp_det & sal_det. How can I generate a csv ouput by using PL/SQL. • How to generate graph of total CSV used space ?

    hi ,
    I want to generate graph of total  Hyper-v CSV used space
    we use scom and i can get graph of each volume individually.
    I want to create a summation graph to know average growth rate
    Ramy Shaker

    I don't think this (http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/HyperV-Dash-Board-VM-Disk-299bac7d) will give you a graph of the total, but you should
    be able to look at the code and create your own summation.  What you are asking for is something that would be custom, so you are likely to have to create it on your own.  At least Shabarinath has written PowerShell code to get the information you
    want to summarize.

    Can anyone help me regarding how can we generate CSV file automatically using excel macro and vba editor for dimension loading purpose???

    You would need to write the VBA code yourself to populate the spreadsheet, I am not sure what you are expecting the forum to provide.

  • Problem generating stubs for Java EJB web service deployed in OAS

    I created an EJB web service and I've successfully deployed it in my Oracle App Server. Some of the methods work fine but others produce the ff error:
    org.apache.soap.SOAPException - java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No Serializer found to serialize [classname] using encoding style [encoding]It seems that the objects specified as parameters in the web service methods exposed are the only ones that had stubs generated for them. Other objects I use, which are usually wrapped inside a Vector, did not have generated stubs.
    Example:
         public String loginUser(UserDTO userDTO) throws RemoteException, NamingException, SQLException;
    public String addItems (Vector vecItems) throws RemoteException, NamingException, SQLException; // where vecItems is a collection of ItemDTO objects     In this scenario, stubs were generated for the UserDTO class, but not for the ItemDTO class. In effect, calling the addItems method resulted to the exception I mentioned above.
    I did a workaround wherein I declared a dummy method which accepted all the types of objects I needed as parameters so all the necessary stubs can be generated, but this fix doesn't feel like it's the proper solution to my problem.
    If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Generating reports using RWServlet.class(Patch-12)

    Sir,
    We have configured the Apache Tomcat-3.2.2 to be the servlet engine for generating reports using oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet. Earlier we have been using, Patch-2. We have created many keys(cgicmd.dat) for the different reports that are there with the mostly needed report parameters(including PARAMFORM=YES). We call the report in the browser giving the URL "http://<machine_name>/oraclereports/servlet/oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet?<key_name>". Now, the report page that gets generated is the parameter form. In the HTML source of this page, the form-submitting action is pointing correctly to URL "http://<machine_name>/oraclereports/servlet/oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet.....". The parameter values are entered and the form submitted. The generated report is perfect..
    Some days before, Patch-10 was installed. The RWServlet.class that comes along with this was copied to the oracle/reports/rwcgi folder in Tomcat. Now, when the same steps(calling report) as done before were done, the report is not getting generated, giving the output for no page found. The HTML source of the parameter form shows the form-submitting-action URL as "http://<machine_name>/servlet/oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet.." omitting the "oraclereports" that was there earlier.
    Now, we have installed Patch-12, copied the new RWServlet.class. For this case also, the same problem is now encountered. Now, have we have to do any additional configuration somewhere? The page that is generated, on giving the URL ""http://<machine_name>/oraclereports/servlet/oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet/showenv?server=Rep60_MACHINENAME" is showing the SCRIPT_NAME as "/servlet/oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet". Is it something to do with this? We tried putting SCRIPT_NAME as a user environment variable, and also by giving SET SCRIPT_NAME=/oraclereports. Still, the problem persists. Doesn't the HttpServletRequest class have some method that returns the SCRIPT_NAME, i.e, the path where the execution is being done? How could different versions of the same class oracle.reports.rwcgi.RWServlet deployed with the same settings on the Tomcat servlet engine behave differently? Please help us on how to solve this problem..
    Thank you,
    Regards..
    Ranjith

    Hi,
    Is there some way, i.e., by doing some Tomcat setting changes, that the RWServlet of Patch-10/12 can be made to work like RWServlet of Patch-2(with normal settings)? Please help..
    Thank you,
    Regards..

  • How do I configure a counter to generate pulses using DAQmx?

    How do I configure a counter to generate pulses using DAQmx?
    Is says in the DAQmx C reference help
    "CtrnInternalOutput—The signal at this internal terminal is where the pulsed or toggled output of the counter appears. The output of a counter pulses or toggles when the counter reaches terminal count. When counting down, the counter reaches terminal count when the count reaches zero. When counting up, the counter reaches terminal count when the counter rolls over. To configure the counter to toggle or generate pulses, use the Export Signal function/VI with Counter Output Event as the signal name."
    I've tried this but can't get it to work, I may have the parameters wrong or something. The DAQmxExportSignal() function is very unintuitive to me. Here is my counter config code...
    int ret = 0;
    ret = DAQmxCreateTask("",&task_);
    errorMsg(ret);
    if (ret != 0)
    throw ret;
    // Configure the counter
    ret = DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanTicks( task_, "Dev1/ctr0", "", "/Dev1/PFI8", DAQmx_Val_Low, 0, divider, divider );
    errorMsg(ret);
    ret = DAQmxCfgImplicitTiming( task_, DAQmx_Val_ContSamps, 1000 );
    errorMsg(ret);
    // Change to pulse mode
    ret = DAQmxExportSignal( task_, DAQmx_Val_CounterOutputEvent, "/Dev1/Ctr0InternalOutput" );
    errorMsg(ret);
    // Start the counter
    ret = DAQmxStartTask(task_);
    errorMsg(ret);
    The above code works fine, in toggle mode, if I just comment out the DAQmxExportSignal() part.
    HELP!!!
    Stefan

    The problem is due to the DAQmxExportSignal call.  By default, when you create a counter output pulse train task, the driver will automatically set the output of the counter to toggle when the count for each high ticks and low ticks expire.  The driver also automatically routes the signal present at Ctr0InternalOutput terminal (the output of the counter internal to the device) to the Ctr0Out terminal (the I/O pin available externally).  Using the line
     ret = DAQmxExportSignal( task_, DAQmx_Val_CounterOutputEvent, "/Dev1/Ctr0InternalOutput" );
    will tell the driver to tristate the Ctr0Out terminal and not output the signal to the external I/O pin.  Using the DAQmxExportSignal function is generally only useful if you want to route the signal to some other terminal internal to the board without having the output show up on the external connector, route the signal to some other external pin other than the default pin, or if you want to have the output show up at multiple locations.
    If you want to change the output behavior from toggle to pulse, you need to use the DAQmxSetExportedCtrOutEventOutputBehavior function.  However, this is generally only useful if all you care about are edges (not the duty cycle of the pulse train), and you want to generate higher frequency signals.  For example, with a 20 MHz timebase as the source of your counter, you can only generate a 5 MHz pulse train by default.  This is because the minimum value for the low and high ticks parameter is 2 (20 MHz / 4 = 5 MHz).  By changing the output behavior form toggle to pulse, you can generate a pulse train at 10 MHz since the output is now pulsing instead of toggling.  However, the width of each pulse is not programmable so you will no longer have a 50% duty cycle signal.  I don't remember exactly what the width of each pulse is, but I believe it's in the neighborhood of 50 - 100 nanoseconds in width.  I hope this information helps.

  • RoboHelp 10: Problems generating Printed Documentation

    Environment
    Windows 7 Enterprise, Service Pack 1, 64-bit operating system
    Office Professional Plus 2010 Versions 14.0.7106.5001 (64-bit)
    RoboHelp 10: 10.0.0.287
    Visual Studio 2010 Professional. I open RoboHelp from within Source Control (have been doing it for two years).
    Problem
    Sometime after moving to RoboHelp 10, and even after successfully generating Printed Documentation output, I encountered a major problem generating Printed Documentation from RoboHelp: “Internal error encountered. Failed to generated Printed Documentation”. The error occurred when I tried to generate Printed Doc using my default TOC, which looks something like this:
    Topic A
    Topic B
    Book 1
    Book 2
    Book 3
    Topic C
    Topic D
    Based on an old Peter Grainge reply to someone about a similar problem, I removed all but the first topic from the Chapter Layout pane and generated the Help. Everything was fine until I got to the topics after Book 3. At that point everything started to fail again. When I removed Topics C, D, etc. from the Chapter Layout pane, the output was built successfully.
    I tried moving Topics C, D, etc. to the top of the Chapter Layout pane, and got the same error. I tried creating a new folder and put Topics C, D, etc. into that folder. Failure after failure.
    As an experiment, I removed all the Topics C, D, etc from the Chapter Layout pane, but then added them to the Print Document Section Layout pane (not where I want them). The Printed Documentation built successfully.
    During attempts to build with Topics C, D, etc. in the Chapter Layout pane, I kept getting a Word error: Word is trying to recover your information. After that there was always a failure.
    Selecting PDF as the output did not work when the Topic C, D, etc. files were at the bottom of the Chapter Layout pane.
    I create a new TOC and a new Printed Documentation SSL. Failed to generate.
    As a matter of reference, I've been generating Printed Documentation from the same TOC for more than a year and so cannot figure out what has changed in RoboHelp or Word to cause this grief .
    Has anyone experienced anything like this?
    Carol

    Dear Peter,
    Thanks for following up. Last Friday I finished extensive testing on my own and working with RoboHelp Support. Here's what I sent to Support this morning.
    If after reading this screed, you think it worthwhile for me to get a copy from Source Control for you to look at, I will do so. Thanks for offering to look at it.
    Environment
    Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1, 8.00 GB RAM, 64-bit OS
    Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Version 14.0.7106.5003 64-bit--Note: We repaired my current version of Word, in case that was the problem, but did not reinstall Office--we do not think that the Word version is the problem because we generated successfully with other TOCs and when generating individual documents.
    RoboHelp 10.0.1.292. Upgraded from RoboHelp 9 in May 2013. Replaced hard drive in September 2013 and reinstalled RoboHelp.
    Visual Studio 2010 Professional 10.0.40219.1 SP1Rel (I open the project from Source Control and check files out to a folder on my desktop.)
    Issue
    Printed Documentation failed multiple times with the default Table of Contents, which contains all the topics in the project. TOC specs are as follows:
    Properties: .docx, desktop location, no conditions, embedded images, “Generate a single document”, “Retain hyperlinks”.
    330 files, 12 top-level books, 15 second-level books, 7 third-level books, 6 fourth-level books, and 8 fifth-level books
    Results
    Generation to Printed Documentation does NOT fail for other, module-specific TOCs, nor to WebHelp Pro SSLs for the same sets of topics. In addition, and perhaps more important, generation to Printed Documentation does NOT fail with “Generate Individual Documents” selected, or when there are approximately fewer than 259 files in the TOC.
    Did not fail consistently based on any particular topic.
    Did not fail consistently based on location of any particular topic in the TOC.
    Failed when I created new TOCs based on ‘working’ TOCs. For example, copied a module-specific TOC and then added topics to it from the default (superset) TOC. I did this in case the original default TOC was corrupted.
    Failed when I create a new TOC with the same folder/file structure from scratch.
    Failed when I created a new TOC with a flat file structure from scratch.
    Failed when I retrieved an older TOC from the last release of the product.
    Failed when I created new SSLs each time. I did this in case the SSLs had got corrupted.
    Failed when I did not open the project from Source Control (removed project from Source Control and worked locally).
    Began to see failure when there were more than about 258-263 files in the TOC. For example, successfully generated Printed Documentation with 262 files in the TOC. Added one topic and the generation failed. Removed that topic and added several others, one at a time. Consistently failed. To test this, I created a TOC with all the files in a flat structure, generated a report for the TOC, printed it, and counted the number of files. I then began deleting files and regenerating the Printed Document to try to identify the number of files in the TOC when the generation failed. Successfully generated up to about 258 files and then it began failing. (Occasional successes at 260 and 261, but that may be because I didn’t always consistently remove the Glossary and Index from the Chapter Layout pane.)
    Other Comments
    (I know that we should generally post non-RH issues to other forums, but in this case I wanted to include all potentially related issues in this posting.)
    The first time you generate any type of output, the “Critical error of Source Control Provider. Please restart IDE.” Message appears. This message appears behind RoboHelp. As a result, if the RoboHelp window is maximized, you think that RoboHelp is hung. Forcing a close of RoboHelp leaves the partially generated Word document in an unstable state. When you re-open RoboHelp and try to generate the output again, RoboHelp says that the output is in use. Unfortunately, there is no way to ‘free’ the Word document and you have to restart the computer. In addition, when the dialog box is hidden, even using Alt+Tab to find the dialog box is complicated because you can’t grab it and click OK until RoboHelp completes its processing. The workaround is to reduce the size of the application window so that you can see the dialog box and try to quickly grab it and click OK. That said, as soon as processing is complete you can grab the dialog box and click OK; at that point RoboHelp displays its own error message about the success or failure of the output generation. It is not clear whether the RoboHelp API or Source Control puts up this error message, but it’s definitely a problem until you happen upon the workaround.
    RoboHelp does not check SSLs even when I right-click the SSL in the Single Source Layouts pane, click Check In, select the XML and SSL files, and leave “Keep checked out” deselected. The red check mark remains next to the SSL name. In addition, even when I Check In All files before closing the project, the next time I open the project RoboHelp displays a series of Check In dialog boxes requiring me to check them in again.
    When RoboHelp hangs during a Printed Documentation failure and the Version Control setting is to check in all files when closing a project (which I’ve now deselected to avoid this problem), Ctrl+Alt+Del indicates that you cannot shut down the program because RoboHelp is waiting for a response. Yes, RoboHelp was waiting for me to check in some files (because of the Version Control setting), but hid the Check In Source Files dialog box behind the application. This usually left a Word document in limbo, forcing me to restart the computer.
    At one point RoboHelp stopped saving changes to an SSL after I made changes and clicked Save and Generate. Each time I reopened the SSL, I had to select .docx, etc. all over again.

  • NI-FGEN Problems in TestStand using IVI Calls

    Hello:
    I have a problem. When using a 5411 under TesStand, making IVI calls the 5411 O/P is distorted when I configure it to O/P a simple Waveform ( 1.544 MHz, 5Vp-p 0V DC Offset). The same setup using either a CVI application utilizing the function panel or the soft front panel yields a fantastic O/P. If I can not make IVI calls from TestStand then what is the use?
    Help.... Very fruntrared and on a deadline
    cheers...

    Hello Craig -
    I've quickly looked over the CVI IVIclass demos including the quick bit of Fgen code, if you run this project and monitor the output in MAX you are seeing good results? If so, yes I'd check the settings in your IVI steps in TestStand. (If you haven't seen it yet try \CVI\samples\iviclass\fgen.prj)
    CVI also ships with function-by-function class help files which on my machine are located at C:\vxipnp\winnt\niivi\Help, I point this out since the demo sequence for IVI in TestStand makes a direct DLL call to set up the soft front panel as a non-interactive window... there are a few other cases where features of the driver are not accessible just by editing the step properties, but that is across the board, so again if it worked in CVI it should work here.
    I'm going to attach a quick little TestStand sequence (written for TS 2.0.1f1 the current release) to this project as a way of you just loosely troubleshooting, all it will do is launch the soft front panel and use the controls to try and set up your waveform... Try it once with the simulated instrument, or just go straight to altering the FileGlobal variable to point to your logical name and tell me if you get better or worse response?
    To alter the internals of the call to hardware right-click on the second step and choose 'edit Fgen'... you may want to examine your clock, the channel settings and extensions to make sure anything you configured in your code is configured here... The only thing I am still unsure of is whether you were using the default sine waves or if you were definining something arbritrary, the 5411 does have the ability to set sample counts/ waveform size /sampling rate. You may want to try setting your Arb SampleRate higher, or fall back on a quick DLL call to set some attributes manually if you can't access them any other way.
    You can use the IVI operation "get Information" on a particular logical name to aquire the current/default settings of your instrument.
    Below is some text I extracted from a LabVIEW example (I don't know how useful the actual code will be, but perhaps this is the cause of your undersampled data?) Jitter can also be a symptom of undersampling. I will try and check with the hardware team for you and post if I have any other ideas...

    --Extracted from an example "Generating Segments of Larger Waveforms with the NI 5411" --
    >>To set up sample counts, pass the array of sample counts you want to use to create a new arbitrary sequence. The array must have at least as many elements as the value you specify in the Sequence Length parameter. Each Sample Counts array element corresponds to a Waveform Handles array element and indicates how many samples of the given waveform to generate. Each element of the Sample Count array must be larger then the minimum waveform size and a multiple of the waveform quantum. You can obtain these values by calling niFgenQueryArbWfmCapabilities.
    For the NI 5411, you can use a minimum of 256 Sample Counts, with a quantum of 8, which is the same as creating a waveform for the NI 5411. The other restriction is that you cannot use a number greater than the number of samples in the waveform.
    In terms of use, the NI 5411 only generates the number of samples that are indicated by the Sample Count number regardless of how many actual samples are in the waveform array downloaded to the NI 5411.
