Problems to download the VIRTUAL APPLIANCE of LiveCyle ES

Hi,
I tried to download the VM offered at Download the Evaluation Virtual Appliance trial of Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite Update 1 but the given user & password failed. In addition the FTP Help link just leads back to the main ES page ?!
Mailed to Adobe help : NO ANSWER SINCE 2 days !
Does anybody succededd with downloading the VM ?
Any hints are welcome.

I tested it from a Windows command prompt (using the Windows FTP client) and it does not work right now. Adobe is closed this week but we will get this fixed next week. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Iam facing a problem while downloading the data from ALV Grid to excel sheet. This is working fine in Development server , when comes to Quality and Production servers I have this trouble.
   I have nearly 11 fields in ALV Grid and out of which one is PO number of length 10 , all the ten numbers are visible in the excel sheet if we download it from development server but when we download it from Quality or Production it is showing only 9 numbers.
Can any one help me out in this case.

if this problems happens dont display the same internal as u finally got.
just create new internal table without calling any standard data elements and domains... but the new internal table s similar like ur final internal table and move all the values to new int table.
for eg.
ur final internal int table for disp,
     data : begin of itab occur 0,
                    matnr like mara-matnr,
               end of itab.
create new like this,
           data : begin of itab occur 0,
                    matnr(12) type N,
               end of itab.

I've been bitten by the "Missing MSVCR.dll file" problem when downloading the latest iTunes update, 11.4.62 (on a PC w/ Win-7 & Outlook-2007#. 'Have followed Apple's instructions of un-installing all Apple software, and re-installing it (Ugh). First result Outlook couldn't find my 1,385 item contact file in iCloud, although the outlook distribution lists were there. Second result, upon installing iCloud again, I have two iCloud contact files shown in outlook - "iCloud" & iCloud, within iCloud". 1,332 & 1,385 contacts respectively.
Plus an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere. This is NOT fun at 72-yrs old...!!
So, how do I make sure I haven't lost anythying from Outlook?   Russ-AZ

You can safely assume that I have tried using it!   So, to make things a little clearer:
     1) I now have two iCloud "contacts files", w/ a different total count. What's the difference? Why the different toatl count?
     2) Since re-installing the Apple software (part of the MSVCR" recovery instructions) "couldn't possible affected Outlook", why am I getting an iCloud installation error message saying iCloud moved 6,835 files to a "deleted items folder" somewhere. What's in those files? And where are they?
Probably more important questions get down to:
     3) Why is a basic Apple product upgrade "screwing-up Outlook"? This iTunes upgrade, failing to install properly forced Outlook 2007 into a 2-min start-up cycle. Which was fixed with this "Goat-Rpdeo" of re-installing MSVCR80.dll.
     4) And under the latest release of iOS-7.0.4 on our iPhones, why is Apple now forcing us to use the iCloud to back-up our contacts, calendars & tasks, vs. allowing these files to be backed-up directly on our PC's via the USB cable?

First thing to try is a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

Problem with downloading the internal table onto the presentation server.

I have a problem where in i am downloading one year of sales done by the company. I wrote a program to download the file onto the presentation server . The error occurs in the FM GUI_DOWNLOAD where if the file exceeds 105843504 bytes its giving me a dump saying that
When the program was running , it was established that more memory was needed than the operating system is able to safely to provide.
The current program has to be terminted because of the program already requested 105843504 bytes from the operating system with malloc when the operating system reported after further memory request that there was no more memory space available.
Could somebody provide an alternative soltuion for this.
Its really urgent as i can download the file with 70,000,000 bytes

Hi Rock,
Please download the files on to Application Server, else as suggested by Ashish download into 2 or 3 files and merge them manually.
Declare same internal tables may be 5 times.
When you fill the internal table check for a counter and when you hit a certain number stop appending to it and start appending to the next.
After you are done so download all the internal tables.
I guess this would be a good way. I am not sure if there are any ther alternative good methods.

Hii,
While downloading the alv output to an excel file i am facing a problem. Either the output comes as 1.23456E+11 or the values get cut .
Cant put in txt file as the users require to calculate directy and i have even tried to increase the output length .But both doesnt help.
So what are the other ways to do so.

Please go through the forum rules. This has been discussed many times. You can search in the forum for this.
Infact there is no problem. Just expand that excel cell. You can see the full value. This is standard excel property.

Weird problem when downloading the output to an excel sheet

Hi to all,
when i download the list, output by an alv grid, i observe a weird problem..in the excel sheet the last digit (10th digit) of the first col. which is delivery no., is getting truncated...0001802563 is getting downloaded as 000180256..couldn't understand why...when i use conversion_exit fm, the values are not getting truncated and downloading correctly...curious to know what's gone wrong in this funcationality? thanks all

But We are getting some problems

This api is modificated to show only the issuenumbers that I have the right to read.

There is no license or serial number for the DVD installer.
If you can get access to a Mac with a working DVD Drive, make the DVD into a .dmg file in Disk Utility and then copy the .dmg file onto a USB key and install onto your Mac from that.

I am not getting any real records.
I am not sure.. my client is using may be an unix environment..
Please give the solutions for this..

Problem while downloading the data from servlet across SSL

I am trying to download the data with the help of servlet across https.
The below mentioned settings work fine if the application is on http.

But , if the application is on https the above settings is working fine if I am saving the file. But at the same time if I am trying to open I am getting the below error from Internet Explorer.
"Client( IE ) is trying to search the file from the local machine and showing an alert as listed below"

If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved or deleted.
I have changed the options of Tools > Internet Options> Advanced > Do not save encrypted pages to disk.
Please do let me know the solutions for the above problem.

Problem in downloading the alv on spread sheet..... ??

When i am running the report in foreground and downloading the output on spreadsheet ... the output layout is coming fine....NO. OF COLUMNS AND ROWS ARE COMING SEPERATELY
But when i am running the report in background and the downloading the output in the spreadsheet ...... all the NO. OF COLUMNS OF ALV ARE MERGING INTO SINGLE COLUMNS OF SPREAD SHEET........................
what can be the problem ..................

How are you downloading in background.
You need to read the spool output into an internal table RSPO_DOWNLOAD_SPOOLJOB or RSPO_RETURN_ABAP_SPOOLJOB and use GUI_DOWNLOAD to download the data.

Hi i have Macbook. i have OS X 10.6.7. I installed Window XP using bootcamp. only problem is that i dont have the original disk when i bought the Macbook. is there any other way to download the driver without the original CD? Thank you.
(and for some reason it wont let me download the windows support driver... do i need Blank CD in the Mac to download it?)

sorry to say but you need the original OSX Snow Leopard Install DVD for the BootCamp Driver installation.
No legal place to download those. Only the later updates which require the Drivers from the OSX disc to be installed.
With the exemption of the MacBook Air the download of the 'Windows Support Software' does not function currently.
