Problems with a Pop up

I keep getting the message pop up: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/Luanne’s MacBook Pro.sparsebundle” is already in use.
How can I get rid of it?

This is poor for usability:

I have encountered a very strange problem with DreamWeaver
pop-up menus, and I was wondering if I could get some help from
this forum, as I can't seem to find an answer anywhere else.
The problem involves use of DreamWeaver's pop-up menu
behavior — all works as expected, and my local preview of the
Web page/site works fine, but when I upload the site to a server, I
see extra question mark and "box" characters added to my drop-down
menus. This problem is inconsistent between browsers: Sometimes I
see it only on IE, sometimes I also see it on Firefox.

Note that I stripped out the JavaScript code for menu
information from the <head></head> area of each of
these pages and placed it in a linked JavaScript document.

There is no pop up. There is a window that is part of the installation process. If you entered a wrong number, like a redemption code, you would have wound up installing it as a trial. In that case, go to the Help menu in the editor and look for an option there.
If that isn't what you're talking about, you really need to explain in more detail.

Problem with one POP account

I'm having major problems with a single POP account, using Mail 3.3. It was there with 10.5.2 and persists with upgrade to 10.5.3. I have 5 accounts (3 POP, 2 IMAP) and all work fine except one and that one no longer can receive mail-haven't seen any new mail in about a week. When I attempt to import mail the activity indicator just spins but nothing shows up. Have also tried to thin it out but mail I thought was deleted shows up again. Any ideas-this is pretty frustrating!

I recently have been trying to find out why my email won't go online. A window pops up stating The identity of "pop.qwestoffice.net" cannot be verified. The certificate for this server is invalid. You may be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "pop.qwestoffice.net" putting information at risk. It asks to connect anyway? Anyone out there have a clue? I am losing my contacts with my clients.

templates worked like a charm. The third and fourth are giving us
trouble.
We essentially create drop down menu navigation for these
pages via the template. There are many menu items in the drop down.
Dreamweaver is now not saving our work as we update the pop
up menus on the templates. Can someone tell me if they've
experienced a similar problem? A major project hinges on this
working properly, and its not at this point.

The DW pop-up menus are incompatible with Templates. I'm

You probably installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "VSearch" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.

The reason is that the DownLite developer has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Problems with a pop-up in Dreamweaver

I have a website with an introduction that I called, of course, index.html and it opens a pop-up of 718 width and 503 height, index2.html. I did it in the behaviours section of DW with an image and in my version of Safari (5.0.6) there is no problem. However if I change the browser (Chrome, IE, Firefox or Opera and recently versions of Safari) it appears with a blank space at the bottom of the pop-up. I tried to solve this error by changing the height of the window and it results ok in other versions of Safari but in my version has a problem of visualization. Please, Can you help me?.

Problem with PVII Pop Menu

Hello,
I have been using PVII Pop Menus and the likes for a while and didn't have a problem before, but now this is what it looks like:

I get a long gray strip after the last entry I wanted to make (Facebook)...how do I get rid of that? All I wanted to do was have a centered pop menu.

Jay that is not correct. Setting a div to align to center will not center the menu on the screen. With Pop Menu Magic 2 they have added this as an option when creating with new menus. However, since it appears you are using PMM1, then you need to following these instructions:

This will have you set a width to your PMM menu and then you will have to set the margins in order to center your menu horizontally on the screen.

Problems with sending POP mail since new "Security Update"

Hi, I seem to be having problems sending mail from POP account - and it started after the latest Security Update that I recently downloaded. From memory it was 110Mb file.
My ISP and POP account service both say it is nothing to do with them.
Any ideas?

Problem with Fireworks pop up menu in DW

(I already posted this on the DW forum, but it's also about
FW, so may be someone here knows about this as well.)
Hi,
I am working on a page whose layout was created in Fireworks
and transferred to DW. After I transferred the page to DW and
created new ones from the template, I went back to edit my page in
FW. I created a couple of rollovers and pop up menus. After I made
these edits, I went back to DW and everything worked fine on the
template page, but my pop up menus did not transfer correctly to
the other pages. They appear in weird places (bottom of the page!)
and the styles pretty much disappeared as well.
Does someone know what could be the problem and how to fix
it? One of the things I noticed is that the menus' CSS file is only
completely visible on the template but not on the other pages. In
the template I can see all the styles applied in the file, but on
the other pages only the CSS title appears, not the styles applied
to the pages.
I am using FW and DW 8.
I need HELP!!!

The general problem is that fly-out menus created in FW or DW
both suck.
Really bad. Inaccessible, poor usability, a pain to update,
and bloated
scripts.
The specific problem is that the FW menu uses layers. Meaning
that it
specifically positions the menus on the screen relative to
the FW file...not
your DW file, which may have moved the contents around the
page.
Best solution? Don't use these crappy menus. Here are some

When opening Firefox the ticket in question pops up - What does it mean? This started about five days ago in 7.0 and wasn't resolved with the 9.0.1 update.

Your setup works fine for DV, because you used a DV deck and most likely DV footage. But now you are working with 720p HD footage (what format, BTW? HDV, dvcpro HD?). That same setup won't work for monitoring HD. Now you need an HD box or card to send out a proper HD signal. And since you have an older G5, you won't find any current solutions. You'll have to look at used capture cards that are PCIx. Or you and look at the Matrox MXO, that connects to the computer via a monitor connection. DVI.

Having problems with a pop up window when downloading

Hi all,
i developed a site in asp.net,
everytime i click to download a file on the site, it opens a *blank window* and leaves it open, it only happens with safari, it works fine with the other popular browsers, with the others, it opens the download box directly.
for safari it still downloads directly but the blank pop up window still stays open.
im not a pro, but would like to fix this, i would be really greatul if someone could help me for this,

but unfortunately it has more to do with coding compatibility, i put the target to blank as highlighted. it opens the window for all browsers and closes it automatically when the download starts, but with safari it stays open.
here is the code for the download asp.net function,is there anything which needs to be put up there to be compatible with safari?

Mysterious problems with persistent pop up!

Aloha; I have been been getting frequent pop-ups of this panel:
It has been appearing very often , it is my account ID, OK, but it appears for no known reason. I am reluctant to put in my password, since I did not ask to get into my account.
Any ideas why this might be happening?

Problem with constant popping adds on safari

Hello everybody,
I'm having trouble with safari. Adds windows are constantly opening themselves whenever I click on a page or there are constant nasty adds on the side of whenever I do a research on Google, this happens ..
(I typed netflix and i have at leats a dozen of add links before the pertinent results)
All of those stuffs have been happening since I've downloaded something down in May or June and it had never happened before. I've deleted it shortly after but the adds and nasty stuffs are still there and it is really really annoying!
A friend of mine advise me to install another browser to see if it would happen as well and it did.
