Problems with missing segment in testing IR

Hi all,
I have an scenario Flat file --> IDOC.
I have created an enhancement for the IDOC. The IDOC name is ZFIDCC1_FAC.FIDCCP02.FIDCCP02.
The IDOC has the segments:   -EDI_DC40
                                                  -E1FIKPF
                                                       -E1FISEG
                                                             -ZE1FICO
I'm testing the interface in the IR and I get the correct result. Now, I´ve change the Message mapping (a sort change, for example change the description), save and activate, and now the result is not ok. In the test lab I can not see the ZE1FICO segment.
I ´ve imported again the IDOC and generated again the metadata in IDX2. Also, I´ve done a Cache refresh in IR and ID, and the result is not ok.
Please, I need your help!!!!!!. I don´t understand what happen.....
Thanks in advance.
Pilar.

I´ve check the IDOC and the segment ZE1FICO does exists, so I think this is not the problem.
After reimporting the IDOC I have reimported the IDOC structure in the target message area. I´ve checked the Design tab and I can see the segment ZE1FICO. Then, I´ve tested using the "Test" tab and the segment ZE1FICO has dissapered.
Thanks in advance.
Pilar.

Hi  - Go ahead and try the steps in this document.  It will walk you through cleaning the contacts on both the cartridge and in the carriage.  What can happen over time is ink residue can accumulate on the contacts preventing the ink cartridges from working properly.  If this doesn't resolve the issue, try setting the cartridge with the nozzles face down on a damp paper towel for about 45 seconds just to resolve any problems with the ink nozzles.
    Hope that helps.

  • 4.1.1 SDK Problems with missing xpacket tags in sidecar XMP files

The current 4.1.1 SDK has problems with sidecar XMP files that don't have the xpacket headers and trailers, i.e:
    <?xpacket begin='' id='W5M0MpCehiHzreSzNTczkc9d'?>
    <?xpacket end='w'?>
is missing. Now, unfortunately Adobe Bridge CS2/CS3 does not export these xpackets in sidecar XMP files.
The standard, http://www.aiim.org/documents/standards/xmpspecification.pdf, is also very vague about it all:
    ● Write external metadata as though it were embedded and then had the XMP Packets
extracted and catenated by a postprocessor.
The grammar is strange(past tense had) and the spec implies that the xpacket should be extracted and again catenated... Someone should review this document and clearly state if xpacket statements should be in sidecar files or not. I suspect myself that they should be there, but the standard is very vague.
Anyway, there are two places in the SDK code where changes might be needed:
XMPFiles::Initialize has XMP_Asserts in case the xpacket header/trailer is missing, but the underlying assert is only active in debug builds.
XMPScanner::PacketMachine::FindNextPacket () also has in its truth table the assumption that the xpackets exist.
There could be even other places in the code that assumes that the xpacket tags are present in all files, which includes text XMP sidecar files.
    Anyway.
    a) Shouldn't bridge export the xpacket tags? Same with any other application?
    b) If the spec is vague, then the SDK should not assume that the xpacket tags are present.
Any comments? Has someone already fixed this issue as I suspect a lot of apps using the the XMP SDK would break concerning reading XMP sidecar files? Thx, Kent

I was able to work around the problem by creating a mapped view of the .xmp file (this creates an array in memory backed by the file on disk, so there's no need to read the file into a separate internal buffer), and constructing the SXMPMeta object directly from the buffer. (The ctor for that class calls ParseFromBuffer, so this is the same thing as was suggested by other messages in this thread.)
It seems that Adobe needs to do one of these things:
    (1) say that Bridge CS3 has a bug, and agree that Bridge CS3 should include a proper xpacket header when writing xmp sidecar files
    (2) say that the XMP Toolkit has a bug, and that the SDK should be able to parse sidecar files without an xpacket header, and agree to fix the toolkit
    (3) say that Bridge CS3 and the XMP Toolkit behave as expected, but then provide a sequence of steps by which users of the XMP Toolkit are expected to read xmp sidecar files written by Bridge CS3
Does Bridge CS4 write an xpacket header to the xmp sidecar files?
Maybe what I could do is create a custom file handler for .xmp sidecar files, so I could use the SXMPFiles for everything, instead of having to special-case .xmp files.
My needs are pretty modest though, and it might be just as simple to use the MS DOM-based XML parser for load the xmp sidecar file. I bet I could get the data I need (only the "Rating" for now) using a simple XPath expression.

  • Problems with Multiple Numeric Limit Test

    Hi,
I'm trying to use the MultipleNumeric Limit test and I have problems with it
    1) Since I use TestStand 3.1, is it recommended to uses the new type template rather than the legacy one?
    2) When you let TestStand creat the test code for you it gives you the following:
// The following code shows how to access a property or variable via the TestStand ActiveX API
// To use this code you must add a parameter "struct IDispatch *seqContextDisp" to this function
// and pass a sequence context to it.
    // tsErrChk(TS_PropertyGetValNumber(seqContextCVI, &errorInfo,
    // "Step.Result.Measurement[0].Limits.Low", 0, &lowLimit0));
I would appriciate if anybody can show me an example using that. I just don't understand it!!
Cant't I just pass the seuence context parameter as follow: 'CAObjHandle seqContextCVI' ?

    I am using Testand 3.2
Most of my tests have a single result value.
However, Some require more than one result value (i.e two).
I would like to specify a "multiple result test step", and assign limits to each result.
So far I can only find silly solutions to this problem:
    1. Feed in teststand  reference into my test.
    2. Use active X !??
    3. Create custom local variable array and then test each result in post tests..
    The above solutions are dumb.
Can someone provide a proper solution to creating a test step with multiple results.
    Thank you.

  • Problem with missing links.

    Hi,
I've created similar topic in InDesign Server Developer forum section (http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b70e8d). I post it here having hopes of possible solution in the range of scripting.
Company I work for is developing web application that processes InDesign documents (we use CS2 and CS3 servers).
We experience problem when users upload documents containing external links to some network paths and these network paths are inaccessible from our server. In this cases performance degrades drastically. For example document with 20 external links to network paths is opened by InDesignServer by 7 minutes, while the same document with external links to some local path is opened within 5 seconds.
I suggest that this degradation is caused by time InDesign Server is trying to access network path to check status of the link, as it can take a lot of time to assure that path is invalid.
Does anybody if I can do something via scripting to avoid that link lookup or make it shorted, and preserve that links in the same time?

    hi all,
    > Does anybody if I can do something via scripting to avo id that link lookup
    > or make it shorted, and preserve that links in the same time?
it's definitely a timeout problem. indesign tries to access these links.
i've the same problems with indesign desktop cs3 last occurrence with 5.0.3
    haven't tested with 5.0.4.
haven't found a solution yet, but would greatly appreciate one!

  • Message-Mapping Problem with empty queue while testing

    Hello,
I want to develope an mapping to an BMEcat-structure. This mapping should be an filter.
My problem is, that everytime I want to check, if my mapping works correct, the queues for the proccessing steps keeps empty.
I filled a test case with all data I needed for the step I want to test (not the whole mapping is ready, but for this step, it is). Now I go to my mapping step an check the queue for the parameters and the queue comes up and displays the correct values. In next step I want to display the queue of an "equalsS"-Step, but this queue keeps empty as all following queues too. Sometimes there is coming up an empty "Processing log"-window.
The problem only comes up, if the target-message is a BMEcat-Structure.
Have you any solution for this behaviour? Or do you need more informations?

    Hello,
thank you for your tip, but the main problem is still existing. As you can see in the next screenshots, I build in your code and I'm sure it normally works fine. Also I filled the "have to"-Fields in the strukture, so that the check-function (F7) delivers an all right.
But still I get no queue results.

  • Problem with missing files after moving folders around

    Hi,
I keep my music files manually organized. This is mostly because I have a LOT of music and I don't want to take up all the space on my MBP HD. So my music is split up between 2 external drives and the MBP drive.
I was moving around some folders since I wanted to reorganize my music folders, and iTunes can't seem to find the files anymore, and in order to fix it I see I need to find each and every file I moved (which is really not practical).
I tried editing the "iTunes Music Library.xml" file, but it seems to get rebuilt from some other place where this information is stored.
I also tried putting aliases in the old folders' locations pointing to the new ones (iTunes kept saying the files are missing)
Is there any way to simplify the process of moving folders?? This is really strange that such a feature is missing.
    Thanks
    Yaron

If you have the 'keep' option enabled and let iTunes do the work - take a sound track album as an example - that has various artists and you didn't tell iTunes that the album was a compilation album - then iTunes will put all the tunes into into the iTunes Music folder as Artist>Album>Song - if you have the compilation option enabled for the tunes on that same album - iTunes will nest it as iTunes Music>Compilation>Album>Song. This helps reduce the clutter in the iTunes Music folder with a thousand artists and only one tune for that artist.
With the 'keep' option selected iTunes will move tunes automatically within the iTunes Music folder. Since iTunes moved the files it can keep track of the links.
To create a second library launch iTunes with the 'option' key down and follow the dialog box instructions. I have a 'Master iTunes Library' on my internal HD and several ext HD's with other libraries which I give unique names i.e.: Really Big Music. I give the library data base file its' own unique name so I don't accidentally erase the wrong file. I also keep all the files that you would normally see for an iTunes library on the ext HD (iTunes library. .xml, art work etc.,). If you are into lots of movies and TV Shows you could create a library on and ext HD with only video content and name it accordingly. You would keep all the files for that library including the library 'management' files on the ext HD in the same nesting as you would find on your internal HD.
This strategy works for me. I tried to manage the files by myself at one point and just had to many problems so I decided to not fight City Hall and go with the flow and it works for me.

  • Problems with missing media in compound clips in archived projects...

I archived some FCPX projects as sparse disk bundles.  When I archived them, to save space, I deleted the optimized and proxy media, and only kept the original files (which are AVCHD), so that saved a lot of space.  Now I find that I need to go back and edit the projects some more and make some changes.  So I opened the sparse disk bundles and transcoded the media again into optimized and proxy media.
The problem I'm having is that most of the clips in these projects are compound clips.  And I'm getting the red screen with the "T" and the exclamation mark in the yellow triangle.  I presume that means footage is missing?
How do I solve this?  Did I somehow screw up in a way that I've lost all these compound clips?
Or is FCPX maybe looking for the media that composes the compound clips in areas where it no longer is?
I should note that I made sparse disk bundles of these clips after all the editing was done.  In other words, when I created the compound clips, the projects were not in these sparse disk bundles.  I'm guessing that is what's causing this problem and that I just have to somehow "tell" FCPX where to find the media from the compound clips.

    I am using 10.1.1 on OS X 10.9.3 Mavricks.
Here are two screenshots the first is how the timeline should look and the second is with the clips missing.

  • DVD problem with missing loops, instruments

(trying to get a helpful subject there for those searching for answers)
the fact that the loops are greyed out and instruments missing in new garagebands is well known. so is the solution of installing from DVD. i cant seem to get that to work for my high school music class.
back story is that every student has a macbook (yes i know.. amazing). thing is, most students give their macs to the IT department to get their machines 'set up' and the IT department collects their DVDs. i borrowed a bunch of those DVDs from the IT department and inserted the DVD when asked but its just not working..
any ideas? do i need to get the EXACT DVDs that came with the machine? i doubt that.
also - why doesnt any of the download options work? does anyone from apple know thats broken?
lastly - what about instruments? i can get the students some loops by dragging loops of my machine into garageband (using target disk mode), but how do i get instruments? i dont drag them into the loop browser, so where might they get put? should i put them in /Application Support/?
as we're talking about 37 students (this semster - last semester we had an ugly fix) i thought i'd ask before i did something.
    thanks a bunch..

  • Problem with profitability segment derivation while posting sales order

    Hello,
We have the issue of profitability segment being not derived when the sales order is changed using BAPI 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE'. Subsequent to calling this BAPI we execute a BDC - to derive the profitability segment - which runs well in the foreground but fails in the background. Immediate help in this regards would be of immense help.
I have searched the forum but could not locate anything useful. There is this thread (Re: BDC for profitability segment VA02 (sales order)) citing the same problem but without answers.
    Kind Regards,
    Indu Shekar

Probability Segment is maintained but  Profitability Segment is still grayed out.
The only way i was able to move things to COPA  was to do a project Settlement from
WBS element to Profitability Segment (PSA).
But does anyone know if we can move things to COPA during Sales Order (specifically for a project-based Sales Order)?
    Thanks.

  • EDI file Mapping.. problem with UNT segment..!!

    Hi all,
Anyone who worked on EDI files, pls help me..
    Doing Idoc to EDI scenario..
I done for all the mapping for all the fields except for the UNT segment and field D_0074
Here i need to provide no of segments in the EDI file...

If you observe the above file which is my resultant file.. I need to count all the segments above UNT and pass the value( here total segments are 24) to D_0074 field .
Is it any way we can count all the segments.. and pass the value??
    Kindly suggest me ..
    waiting for your replys..
    Regards
    Seema.

    Problem here is ..
They have created only SCv  Seebutger_EDI_Adpater
    but they haven't created for Seebutger_GENERIC_EDI ..
all those mappings will be under Seebutger_GENERIC_EDI .. which they haven;t installed..
    thats the problem..
If any one has that UDF .. kindly let me know..

  • Problem with Idoc segment maximum length

    Hi friends,
We are now creating a new Idoc type. We have started to create the first segment but we encountered a major problem.
The problem is that we have a field of 4000 characters but the limit of all segment fields together is 1000 characters.
Is there any way to change this limitation or another way to define Idoc?
    Thanks in advanced,
    Udi Dekel.

    Hi,
When you create a segment that exceeds the max length, SAP automatically creates a child segment for the exceeded length. For your problem though, you can create 4 segments of length 1000 each and split the data in these 4 segments and then concatenate the data later in the idoc processing function module. On the other hand if it is an outbound idoc, you can ask the receiving system to do the same.
    Best regards,
    Advait

  • Problems with missing template handler

    Hello,
We have put the name testmiss.cfm in the missing template
handler in the administrator. Still, the default ColdFusion error
message shows when a cfinclude has template=a nonexisting file and
    when in an html form,
action=a nonexisting cfm file. I have testmiss.cfm in both
the root with Application.cfm and the directory with all the other
    cfms but still no luck.
Any idea what we are doing wrong?
    Thank you very much.

Is the 'misscfm.cfm' file somewhere in the
    'd:\wSites\GBMain\html\CFMS\'
directory. I will presume this is the 'web root' as defined
    in your web
server (IIS or Apache or built-in or ???). The missing
    template handler
file needs to be in the ColdFusion root. This is going to be
    a
    directory such as
    '{drive}:\JRun4\servers\{server}\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\misscfm.cfm'
for J2EE flavors OR '{drive}:\CFusionMX\wwwroot' for Standard
    I think.
It has been a very long time since I have dealt with
    Standard.
This is probably completely different from the above web
    root. That is
the point I am trying to get across. ColdFusion has TWO roots
    where it
will look for a CFML file. But the Missing and Sitewide
    templates can
only be in the ColdFusion root listed above, they will not
    work in the
    web root.
