Process in progress page

I have a file upload page that is designed to take the uploaded file and do a bulk
load into a database. This process can take a few minutes. It would be nice to
give the user some sort of warm and fuzzy that the server is really doing something.
Is there a way to "split" so to speak a pageFlow action so that once the user
hits the upload button they would be taken to an intermediate page "Bulk Load
In Progress" until the process has completed at which point the user would then
be taken to a "Bulk Load Complete" page?

Use public void setProcessingText(String processingText) to set the text below clock image.
There are no public methods available to change the image. You can only change the following other attributes:

I am able to invoke my BPEL Process named as " AddMacroSync" .
It also creating instance for this BPEL Process .
But when I go BPEL Console and check my instance , it is always faulted .
I am providing two inputs : Employee Id and Taskname through HTML Page .
These inputs got assigned to their respective output variables .
But when I click on audit link ..it shows error while invoking the Process .
It Show error :
when invoking endpointAddress 'http://152.69.248.232:8990/AddMacroTask-AddMacroTask-context-root/AddMacroTaskWebService', [java.lang.NumberFormatException]
But this end point address is working when I put this address in URL .
Please someone help me how to solve this problem .

You will need to try changing the email address on the first account and see if you can then re-use it on a new account - you can try changing the email address via http://appleid.apple.com or by logging into it via the Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes (if you don't have a spare email account then you can create one via http://gmail.com or http://hotmail.com)

hello, is there a way to make a word processing document in pages with !" inch margins? i ask this because there is a box where you can write text and the you start your document, but it takes more than 1 inch from the top, can that box be removed? and why whatever you write in the box appears in every page of the paper? is there a way to avoid this? sorry I do not use computers very often and i just want to write an essay for my english clss, thanks for your help.

The box is called Headers and is used for thing that will be repeated on several pages like page numbering and names etc.. You can uncheck it in the Inspector > Document tab

Is it possible and how do I reference process 1? Should I just call it like a procedure?

You can make the second process conditional and run it that way:
1. your first process has a lower sequence and after a successfull completion it will set an hidden page item to a certain value
2. your second proccess will have a higher sequence and will run only if the first one was completed successfully

Some of the functionality has vanished since Dec when I use my class progress page. written in JavaScript.

On my progress page students must change a default number in a dialog box. The box then asks for the new number.
The correct number is input but results in an error message.
This has worked seamlessly for many years with Firefox. IE has serious problems with the progress page so it cannot be saved and updated. I do not want my students to have to use two browsers.

2 Automated Row Processes for one page?

Hey people, me again ...
i have created 2 Regions on my Page. Each region has databasefields which references: RegionA -> a view, RegionB --> a table with the same ID (customer) ID)
For each region i have an ARF, which was generated by the wizard.
When i had just one Region the rowfetch worked fine. Now that i have the second Region i get a failure: "Row cannot be fetched" (debug shows that this happen in my second ARF).
I tried to change the process point from AFTER Header to everything what i can choose ... same failure.
If i change the sequence
ARF_A from 10 to 20 and
ARF_B from 21 to 10 then everything in my SECOND Region is shown.
Same happens when i set "Set Memory Cache on display" for the second ARF.
Isn't it possible to habe 2 ARFs for one page?
Or where is my failure?

In my first region there is a view over 3 tables. Works fine. I don't want to put more tables in this view because it is very big already.
So i want to have another region with just a single table.
Is there no way to have two ARF - processes on same page?

What do you mean by "attach the workflow process to portlet pages"
if you mean to have approval withing pages this can be done using teh approvals and notifications functionality built in within portal and if you mean attaching external workflows from oracle portal or BPEl, that can also be done.

Problem with multiple MRU processes on a page

I have a page with 3 report regions. The first 2 are based on the same query with 2 different filters while the 3rd is based on a view on the same table the 1st 2 are based on.
I have created a MRU process for the 1st 2 regions that is active on both reports and it works perfectly fine. As soon as I make the 3rd report an updatable sql report everuthing breaks. The 2 updatable queries now throw htis error

this answers my question. It is intersting to notes that I could split the update across 2 queries... but it fails if one adds a 3rd region. Now it would be nice if I can mimic the 3rd MRU using my own pl/sql code. Any example that you know and that can be used?

Can you make a mail merge from a page layout? I can successfully do so from the word processing section of pages

I am trying to mailmerge to a form and need to center certain sections on the same line. Impossible to accomplish in the word processing portion because it wants to center the entire line. I would like to use the page layout section but the "enter merge field" is gray.
I have been able to accomplish the task using Filemaker but some of my constituents do not have Filemaker and I would like to make a template for them to use with numbers, excel,etc.

Can't see what Layout mode could possibly offer that you don't have in Word Processing mode.
Tried using centre tabs? You are using tabs, and not just hammering away at the spacebar?

Now i am getting different kind of exception::

How to show result from process in popup page?

<br>We want to use one popup page for many information in application. So we want to make the following thing.
<br>We want to execute process and show result in popup page (through hidden parameter-"P2_MESSAGE").
<br>We also assign title of region on that popup page through "P2_TITLE".
<br>What I do not know is how to show popup after process-branch problem.
<br>Process is executed from one button. Button is located on page "28" and popup page is "2"
<br>Code for javascript should be like:

I have found in one thread:

<br>1) create an application item APP_ONLOAD (of course you can choose your own name)
<br>2) create an application level before footer computation on APP_ONLOAD to clear the item after the page is generated.
<br>3) place &APP_ONLOAD. (dot also) in the on load property of the page.
<br>4) fill the APP_ONLOAD using :APP_ONLOAD := 'onload="your own javascript to call a popup window;"' in the plsql of an after On Submit - After Computations and Validations process (type PL/SQL anonymous block)
Fill the when button pressed property of the process with the button you want to use to show the popup.
<br>5) create a branch to branch to the current page (or a other if you wish)

Looks OK but when I create in PL/SQL js with "&" signe, which I use for filling some hidden values in popup page I get error.
