  • Standard Process for Credit Memo & Debit Memos in CRM

    Dear all,
What is the standard process for Credit Memo and Credit Memo Creation within CRM Complaint Transaction?
We can successfully replicate Return Items and Replacement Items in ECC Return Order
But I don't know how to process Credit Memo and Debit Memo in ECC.
What are the Accounting Implications takes place once we create and release the credit memo / Debit memo in CRM Complaint Transaction?
How to see the entire document flow?
I can create Credit Memo for a Returned Line Item in CRM without any errors. But I could not see any follow-up transaction or process either in CRM or ECC.
Kindly educate me in this regard. Your suggestions are highly appreciated

    Hi suchi,
The following would be very useful to you.
To reduce implementation time for print forms development, SAP has created a set of the most commonly used forms - Preconfigured Smart Forms:
<u><b>SD:</b></u> Invoice, Quotation, Contract, Delivery Note, Order Confirmation, Scheduling Agreement, Inquiry, Cash Sales, Picking List
<b><u>MM</u></b>: Purchase Order, Request for Quotation, Contract, Delivery Schedule, Good Issue (3 scenarios), Good Receipt (3 scenarios)
    <b><u>FI:</u></b> Dunning Notice
All can easily adapt these forms to their requirements, saving time and money.
Hope this information has been useful to you.
if you would like to have a smartform of your own i.e a Z or a Y then there is an option to get a sap script copied onto a smartform.
the sap script for the same is -> <b>F140_DOCU_EXC_01</b>
Go to Txn SMARTFORMS and just put the required smart form name in FORM field and then go to the menu bar: Utilities-> Migrate SAPScriptForm and juts type in the Script name which is given above(i.e F140_DOCU_EXC_01 )
I hope this will be an amicable solution.
    if helpful pls reward.
    Thanks

I need so help understanding the proper way to process a credit card payment to a vendor.  I know how to go into outgoing payments and enter the credit card in the payment means, but that does NOT create a payable invoice under my credit card vendor.

  • Cannot purchase records/"processing of credit card data not possible"

Since last Tuesday I cannot buy records at iTunes store (Austria). Whenever I click the "purchase" button the systems sends back the message that "currently the processing of credit card data is not possible".
That's interesting as I have been handling my purchases since months using a Click and Buy account without any problems.
The ITS support team did not yet answer to my request.
Any ideas how to fix? Thx!
      Windows XP Pro

The security code is the 3 or 4 digit code outside of the actual card number (and NOT the same as your PIN). It is usually located on the front of AMEX cards and on the back of Visa and MC. You typically wouldn't need that for purchases in a physical store. Log into your AppleID, modify the payment method  and set it with the proper code.

  • Process a credit card without having the address in the system

In R11i we were able to do a transaction on a credit card by passing in the address via the p_pmtinstr_rec parameter without that address being in the system. Now in R12 Payment that record type has changed so it no longer has address as part of that record type. So we were wondering what the solution would be to process a credit card in R12 without having complete TCA data setup for the customers.
    Thanks,
    Tom

I saw that I wasn't the first person with this problem.

  • Dunning Process In Credit Management

Can I have some info on Dunning Process In Credit Management

Let me explain in simple terms:
    1) You have a Customer which you had felt, he is doing good business and supplied material on Credit of 45 days.
    2) Since this customer is good as you felt, you have not managed Credit Checks as well. So, he had comfortably reached to the fullest credit (or even more) which you can afford for any  customer.
    3) One fine day you got realised that, there is very bad debt with this customer and need to recover from him and till then, there will be no further supply to the customer.
    4) Your company's legal department has laid a policy that, inorder to recover any bad debts,  like:
    a) We will send a normal payment reminder.
    b) In case customer doesnt respond, we will send at least further reminder (dunning notice)  may be 9 times  (9 reminders) (Dunning level) and what intervels of time (dunning frequency)
    c) Still if the customer doesnt resopond for the reminders, you will file a law suit against  the customer for recovering the Payments.
    d) Finally, after getting veridict, you may proceed for auction of his property or as per the order for Law.
Now in SAP, the definition of Dunning procedure is a pre-defined procedure specifying how customers or vendors are dunned.
For each procedure, the user defines
    - Number of dunning levels
    - Dunning frequency
    - Amount limits
    - Texts for the dunning notices
In SAP, you will maintain the Dunning Procedure at customer master.  Referring to this your  SD Team / FI Team (user team) will effect Dunning
    Hope this helps you.
Do award points if you found them useful.

    Rakesh

  • Credit Mgt fields

    Hi All,
My client uses the standard fields in TR/3 credit mgt in a custom way. For example, the field "Credit Account" is used to maintain the Customer number. The "Customer Group" field is used to maintain Dealer code. Usually, these 2 fields are related. If Credit Account = PA12345, then Customer Group has 12345 (Just the Dealer code).
Now, my question is how do i know what all customers are entered in these 2 fields from tables and field names. Usually, they have customers like PA1234, VR1234, DL1234 etc. I want to know if they have used these fields for all the customers and they match.
I hope you understand my question and can provide me with an answer.
I am not too much of an ABAP person. Want to know how to look for this selection criteria, excluding all other field names in table.
    Regards,
    Satya

    Hi,m
Go to transaction SE16/ SE16N and check table KNKK.
It contains the details you need, i.e. "Credit Account" and "Customer Group"

  • Credit mgt issue -urgent

    Hi folks,
i have got a problem w.r.t credit mgt.
    the problem is :
open delivery value is showing as 1015106.13. in Tc. SE16  and then So67.
but there is only one open delivery (whose value is not this but less than this) in VL04.
I checked in SE16  and then LIKP, but found no open delivery.
In FD32,  "Sales value: field  is Showing as 1015106.13.
i dont know how this value is coming in FD32,  and thereby in open delivery as with the same value.
    plz. provide me the soltn..
    thanx in advance,
    sourav

    Hi,
First note that Open deliveries will not be shown on VL04.. VL04 is a screen to see the open orders... that is the orders which are not delivered...
I think you mistaken the open delivery's Meaning. This means that the sales orders which are not refered by delivery... so its nothing but the sales value...
    Kindly check again...

  • Credit mgt n Credit exposure

    A) While doing credit mgt, for some customers total Outstanding which is there in FBL5n is not matching with credit exposure which is there in FD32.
Please let me know How the system is updating the credit exposure.
    Highly rewarded.
    Reg,
    Madhu

    Hi Madhu,
System updates the credit exposure as the total value of the Receivables (Outstanding amt to be paid by customer in FBL5N report) + Sales Value( Total of all order values which have not been transferred to FI, but which are taken into consideration when checking the credit limit.)
    Credit Exposure= Receivables+Sales Value
The receivables value and Sales Value are updated correctly in FD32 Status Tab.
Hope this addresses your question, kindly award points if so.
    Thanks,
    Vinu

  • Return process with credit note.

    Hi Experts,
I have done a sales order with quantity 9 pcs, delivered and PGI  with quantity 9 pcs and also invoiced the customer for 9 Pcs. Now customer has returned 4 pcs, in this case he has to only pay for 5 pcs.
    I have done return process
    1. Create returns order with T.Code VA01 and order type RE and quantity of 4 Pcs
    2. Delivery with VL01N and Post Goods Reciepts of 4 Pcs
    3. Transfer 4 pcs from return to unrestricted use.
now how to raise credit memo ......please guide me step by step.
    Regards
    Rahul

I suggested you G2 Invoice type by mistake. Apologies.
You need to use Credit for Returns Invoice Type - RE.
Go to T-Code VF01 & select Invoice Type as RE. Now create this Credit for Returns Invoice with Reference to your Returns order Type.
If the above is not happening then check T-Code VTFA & maintain copy controls for RE (Order) to RE (Invoice)
    Hope this helps,

  • Credit mgt. at sales order level

    Hello Experts,
Wish You All a Happy New Year.
There is one credit managment requirement, the User wants only a warning message at the sales order and not error message. i.e, he should be able to process the order and the delivery only to be stopped not the order. what is the setting in ova8 for this?
    Regards,
    Raj

    Dear Raj,
    Try this.
    1.Warning message at sales order
Go to OVAK transaction maintain A-Run simple credit limit check and warning message for your sales document type under Check Credit colomun.
    2.Delivery need to be stopped
Go to OVAD transaction maintain credit group for your delivery type by assigning Delivery credit group or GI credit group.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Sales Return Process-Invoice(Credit Memo) with ref. to delivery

    Dear All,
I am doing sales return process.
    Sales Order-RE
    Delivery-LR
    Invoice-RE,
with ref. to sales order it is allowing me to create invoice.
But,with ref. to delivery it is not allowing.
It is giving "The document is not relevant for billing".
I have changed item category  REN for delivery (A) related billing.
Also changed req. copy control setting.
Can anybody guide on this issue.
    Best Regards
    Sainath

    Hello,
Normally return credit memo will be generated with reference to the retrun order, and that is the standard SAP process. Do you have any specific requirements to have the credit memo with reference to a retrun delivery?
The Item category REN Billing Relevence will be B as per SAP standard, if you wish to have a delivery related credit RE, the make this to A .
Maintain the Delivery to Billing Copying control in VTFL for LR --> RE, add the item categroy REN.
Maintain the copying requirements for header as 3 Header Del Rel and for item as 4 Deliv-Related item .
Once these setting are done, then check whether the RE billing type is triggering from LR?
