Processing correction via a web interface

Hi
Is the any way that one can process a correction via a web interface instead of the gui version.

OK I am using workcenters. When i open an incident via the workcenter it opens up in a web interface and you can process it or if you click on expert mode then that opens up the incident in the gui form. Now I am looking for a way to be able to process a correction via a web interface instead of the standared gui form that it opens up in.

    I don't think there's an adjustment for this. You should probably call Cisco and see.

  • Last Character In Crystal Report cut off when ran via BO web interface

    I created a report in Crystal and uploaded it to the Business Objects Web Interface.
    On my detail row, the last character is getting cut off regardless of the length of the text.  Even short words like "Yes" are losing the last character, and appearing as "Ye", and there is plenty of room available between the right margin.
    The column header extends out further with no issues.
    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Try with this:
    Go to the following registry sub key:
    HKEY_USERS\[your security profile]\Software\Crystal Decisions\10.2\Crystal Reports\Export\Pdf
    Right-click the sub key and click New > DWORD Value. Name the DWORD value "ForceLargerFonts" and set it to the value of 1.

  • Creating service desk message via web interface

    Hi
    I have setup the servie desk and use the incident management workcenter to view the messages. In that workcenter there is a link that allows one to create a message via a web interface. When that webpage opens there are 3 tabs. The first tab is your Problem discription tab the second one is Additional Information tab. In that tab there are 3 choices Solution, Project and Process. When i select a project and then go to the process tab i dont see any process there (i assume these are business process for the project that was choosen). Does any one have additional information regards this functionality.

  • Ix2 web interface not responding

    I have the EMC IX2 200. I can no longer connect to the web interface. I recently had to replace a failed drive, I used the same  model and size. Afterwards the mirror repaired itself but I could never manage the storage. Some message about the drives. The drive status showed fine in the mgmt interface. I downloaded firmware updates but it would not allow me to install. I tried rebooting the device but it never completed, even after waiting for than a day. It wouldn't respond to pings so I unplugged it the powered it back up. Now the web interface never comes back up. I can access my existing shares but I can't manage the device via the web interface. No service is listening on ports 80 or 443. I did have ssh enabled so I can access the system via a shell. Apparenty this is a common problem for which no known solution exists judging from numerous other forums. After rebooting all lights appear normal other  than the white exclamation light keeps blinking. I've already spent many days on this issue but haven't given up on this product yet.   Any suggestions?

    Yes, I'm not sure what is up with their tech support. I think they inherited a somewhat underwhelming product that had  unrealized potential. I think it suffers from too much compromise on hardware for what they were trying to accomplish in software. It is somewhat maddening that they refused to use ssh to diagnose the problem. That is why it exists. I had it enabled when i first acquired this product to fix an issue at tech support's request. It appears everything booted up but something is wrong with the appweb service. The service is running but doesn't respond to connection attempts on 80 or 443. It isn't listening on the web ports. I still haven't heard back from their escalated support team. I wonder if it really exists? I've seen many other forums where a support issue got stuck here. The storage problem has worsened. I was copying all my data off when, in the middle, the share quit responding. The box would not power down, reboot or reset. I tried pulling power but still could not access the main share when it came back up where most my critical data resides. I connected in with ssh and traversed the directory tree, the base folder is there where the share would be advertised, but all the data is gone! I didn't get anywhere near a full copy completed. There are some other minor shares I had created and they still work, but I still cannot access the box via the appweb service, even though the process is running. Fortunately I can recover most my important data because I was also backing it up with Crash Plan (thank god!) but this will be very time consuming. I can't even begin to express how frustrating this process has been, not to mention the countless hours trouble shooting. Long story short, I wouldn't trust any important data on this device. I've ordered a Synology DS213j with two 3TB Western Digital RED drives to replace this. If I can get the ix2 repaired I will only use it for lab unless someone wants to buy it off me. -- thanks, David

  • Laserjet 4345 mfp won't scan to folder; web interface not showing all admin tabs

    Hi,
    I have a laserjet 4345 mfp which, until a few days ago, was able to scan documents to a network folder. When I try now it gives me the error "the path cannot be found". Here's what I've tried so far:
    - Looked for a way to change the network folder settings or define a new folder. I couldn't find any so I printed the "how to scan to folder" page from the control panel. It tells me to define a new location by clicking the "Other" button on the control panel, but I can't find an Other button, on any screen.
    - Accessed the web interface, which only shows up  with the "Home" and "Networking" tabs - no "Digital Sending", "Settings", or  "Information" tabs, which should be there according to the manual.
    - Thinking it might be a permissions issue, I checked and found that the administrator password was not set. I set the admin password via the web interface, and now when I try to access it prompts for the password I defined, but still gives this incomplete interface. I am also able to access and change all the networking settings, so I don't think insufficient permissions are the issue.
    - Called HP support, they said the problem is permissions and I should cold reset the machine, which I am quite reluctant to do since not only all settings, but the entire address book as well, would need to be re-entered. This aside from the fact that I really don't think permissions are the issue, as decribed above.
    - Verified that I am able to send scans to different email addresses. SMTP gateway test goes through OK. LDAP does not, but this has not prevented scan to folder from working in the past.
    I don't know how the scan-to folder was initially set up because I wasn't supporting this client at the time.
    Any ideas?

    I have a problem with my scan to folder as well and I have to access the folder from a computer before it will work.  I'm not sure why that works, actually.  You might want to give that a try to see if it fixes the problem.  If it does, I imagine it is some sort of security problem with the folder you are trying to scan to.

  • 2102 web interface unavailable.

    Hello,
    I've been trying to configure my 2102 via the web interface, except I can not reach said interface. I can ping the IP it has been assigned by my current, wireless router, however the IP itself lead to nothing in my browser, and nor does it do anything once /advanced has been appended.  I'm at a bit of a loss, as even if it's connected straight to my laptop, without the other router, it doesn't answer at all.
    Any thoughts?

    Done, done and done, and to no avail. I do not know why. I see on my router that its assigned address is 192.168.1.197, therefore I went for 192.168.1.197/advanced as the manual stated, to a 'page not available' error.

  • Privileged Exec password works for telnet but not web interface on Cisco AP 1242

    I recently configured a Cisco AP 1242, software version 12.4, via the web interface using the default Cisco credentials. At that time I setup an administrator account with read/write access and changed the Cisco to a read only access. Now went I attempt to login to the web interface it won't accept the administrator password. It will except the administrator password in a telnet session however. So via the telnet session I setup another user with privileged exec level access and that wont work on the web interface either. The Login box keeps coming back requesting a password. Strangely enough, I can login to the web Interface using admin username, with the Cisco password; but I can't do anything, and I also can't view everything.
    I've tried the following:
    I've turned on SSH and created a certificate in the AP, but the login box continues to pop on the https://url.
    I've attempted to setup a user with a non-encrypted password, but have been unsuccessful.
    I've tried a different browser - login box continues to pop.
    I've made sure the web interface is activated in the AP
    I've tried a differnet computer
    I've tried disabling password-encryption service
    Reset the enable password
    I've successfully setup other 1240 APs but must have done something wrong on this one. Anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks.

  • [SOLVED] CUPS web interface redirects to nowhere

    Well, I don't really know, when all this happened, because I dont't use a lot my print server's web interface.
    It is not a major problem I think, but it is a bit disturbing and I really don't know, what this is.
    At http://myipaddress:631 I see the web administration page, but according to the /etc/cups/cupsd.conf file, the /admin/conf/ section of cups is password protected.
    It was usual, but lately I've noticed, that instead of the usual https://myipaddress:631/printers/myprintername it redicrects me towards some gibberish:
    https://[v1.::fff/myipaddress:631/printers/myprintername
    in a couple of seconds it results in displaying a "about:blank" page.

    The box has an ipv4 only adress, I've configured CUPS via the web interface, I use avahi browsing, and everything else works.
    Does anyone know, what this could be?

  • WRT54G v6 Web Interface Not Loading Properly

    I just bought a WRT54G v6 router.  When I tried to configure it via the web interface at 192.168.1.1, the web page came up, but only partially.  None of the links were visible.  After reading other posts, I tried upgrading to the latest firmware WRT54Gv5v6_v1.02.2_fw.bin via the Management Mode because the normal web mode wasn't accessible.  The upgrade appeared to work, but the following screen was blank instead of saying "Upgrade Success".  I cycled power.  The normal web page showed the new firmware version number, but the page still was missing its links.  I tried the upgrade procedure again with the same results.
    I downloaded the EasyLink Adviser and let it configure the router.  It appears to have been successful.  However, I tried the web interface afterwards, and the page is still not showing the links properly.
    Is my web interface issue an indication of future troubles with the router?  Is there any way to get the interface to work properly?
    I have tried the web interface with both IE and FireFox, and with my firewall/antivirus software turned off.  The Cisco logo indicator is the normal solid amber.  The power light is solid on.  The WLAN/1/Internet indicators are on and blink with net traffic.  I cannot find any other indicators of router trauma other than the web interface.

    Have you tried resetting the router?
    At the back panel of the router, you'll find a reset button on it. Press on it for 30 seconds while the router is on. After doing so, you could let go of the reset button and then take out the router's power cord for like ten seconds and plug it's cord back it. After that time, check if you'll have the proper lights on the router again and see if you'll be able to see the whole router's setup page this time.

    i have created a GROUP-Component (Group1) via the Web Interface Builder and would like to change the standard width from 350 to 200. I understand that this must be done via css. The relevant code in my BSP-page looks like this:

    I checked the stylesheet (ur_ie6.css) via SE80, but i cannot find the postion where i need to change the width-attribute. The class definition inside this stylesheet looks like this:

    Any hints where to implement the change are welcome.

    and it works...but this solution is not very suitable, because i have about 30 BSP-pages and every time i re-generate them i have to add the code again.
    When i overwrite the table tag in my stylesheet..like this:
    table
    the tray is smaller...but when i expand the tray in internet explorer the dropdown list is still 350px. Also the HTML-code remains with style="width:350;"
    Using .urTrcWhlBox instead of the table tag in my stylesheet has no effect.

    the web interface builder calls the web interface very similarly to an external browser. So if you HTTP and ICM setitngs are not correct (yet), the web interface can not be displayed in the builder.

    we transported web interfaces into the new system and we are unable to see them in web interface builder although I can see them in mime repository. The target system doesn't have appropriate web connection setting ( I can not run the web reports) yet, but I doubt   this could be the problem......
    Any idea how to make them visible in WIB.

    Are there some who know how to create users via the CLI interface on a SX20. You can do this via the web interface but I have many video installations where I need to create a user account. Therefore, it would be easiest if I can make it through the CLI interface.

  • How do I download images from Lightroom Mobile through the web interface?

    I am new to Lightroom Mobile. I would like to access the collections I've synced to the cloud and download individual images from my collections via the web interface. I see there is an option to copy the image via the iPad app but I don't see a copy image option via the web interface. I realize you can share entire collections of photos in the web interface but I would like to be able to simply download select photos via the Lightroom mobile web application. When I right click on the image there is no "save as..." option even - only an option to download the entire webpage.

    I was looking to do the same thing and spoke to an Adobe online chat staffer. It was a very confusing conversation. I think I eventually got him to understand what I wanted to do, and he seemed to think the answer was "not possible". Not very impressed with the technical support though.
