  • Product - How to get the list of products created.

    We have a Job running which actually creates products in CRM.
    Is it possible to get those list of freshly created / updated products created in CRM so that the user who is supposed to further update those products can find them easily.
    Note: This job is a job which resides in the non-SAP system and using XI interface is that we create the products.

    The problem which I need to address is that, I know there are certain set of products being uploaded in my CRM. Is there any facility in CRM like a Job which can monitor on the delta changes made to the products and when I run a report those delta changes are visible.
    The current work-around which I have at present is from the non-SAP system we know the list of products that get uploaded. We can pass that as a text file to the user so that he can get the list of products uploaded in CRM. But we dont want to adopt this approach.
    We want some kind of an interface within CRM which should enable us to do this.
    Any thoughts ?

  • Accessing the Product Model in PME

    Hi All,
    I am facing an issue related to PME, I have created a configurable product in CRM. The  issue is when i  clicked on create button in the configuration tab of commpr01 , PME starts and establishes connection with the respective client but it is not showing me the model name and the configurable product which i already  made nor i am able to see the other categories and product type.
    Can any body help me out.

    Hi Muralidhar,
    I think that note is not applicable for me, because it is giving corrections for some UAMO tcode which is not applicable for me. I am specifically facing problem when creating a new model from PME. It is not displaying me my model name nor enabling options to add product.
    Please suggest something useful.

    Photoshop's batch function is notoriously slow for this kind of work, I found. If you are working on a Windows machine I recommend IrfanView, which has a fast and simple batch command to process large numbers of images into thumbnails. It also has resizing options to resize to a width or height, the long side or the short side, and so on. Irfanview batch command can also perform most common batch tasks, such as adding canvas, auto cropping, add an overlay text and/or watermark, auto adjust the colours, and so on.
    It is many, many times faster than Photoshop's batch processing and much more reliable in my experience (with Photoshop's batch regularly stopping for no real reason).

  • How to sync new catalog , categories and products created in ACC to pub db

    Hi all,
    I have created new catalogs+categories and some sample products in my ATG application using ACC. I can access them in my application.
    Now i want to move ahead and create some promotions + scenarios for those products. I went through the docs and got that recommended approach is to use BCC for these items and then deploy them to prod instance.
    But before that since the newly added catalogs and products are available only with prod db, i should sync them up with my pub db. so that both of my db will be in sync. I tried to look help/steps for this but did not get any.
    Can you pl provide some pointers about this, how can i do that? Any link/site for the required steps will definitely help me.

  • Post GR (from production) + Create inspection lot through an interface

    Dear All<BR><BR>
    We would like to set up an interface which posts a GR (production - mvt type 101) and also creates an inspection lot for the produced batch. When you post this GR online (MB31), it is possible to have the inspection lot created automatically (some memory ID has to be flagged), which actually first triggers a SAP standard popup asking for the inspection plan.<BR><BR>
    I have tried setting this up with a test program, first calling BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to post the GR and then calling a combination of functions, the main one being QPL1_INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE, to have the inspection lot created. I am however having troubles with the generated inspection lot, e.g. when I click the button "Mat. Documents", it says "no material documents fonud".<BR><BR>
    Does anybody have any suggestions? Our system is 4.6 C. If I appear reluctant to answer any of your replies, that's because I'm out for holidays the upcoming 20 days)<BR><BR>

    I am really confuses actually what you want, but can give you a brief idea about in process inspection.
    There are 2  of inspection types related to it-03 and 04.  03 type will create lot but that will use routing as task list. 04 will use inspection plan as task list. So, when processing production order, 1st 03 type will generate a lot, there you can check hows the quality going.This lot is not stock relevant. After confirmation, 04 type will create another lot for final result confirmation and this lot is stock relevant.

  • Problems with archiving and deleting products created in CRM

    In the process of deleting products it is my understanding that one should first arhive the product.
    Reading the SAP help guidelines I was able to determine that there are various steps for accomplishing this, the first of which being Preprocessing.
    While carrying out this step an error was found that the product attempted to be archived could not be processed due to the fact that it was still used as a component to an installed base.
    However this is not the problem, once the correction was made I attempted again to carry out the preprocessing but I keep getting the message that the product "will not be checked again in archiving until 30.10.2006".
    It seems that somehow the system limits the attempts archive products in a limited period of time.
    My question here is:
    Is there anything I can do to change this? How can I attempt to succesfully preprocess the product without having to wait for date specified by the message?

    I was able to delete the product by reading the suggestions on another topic posted. I adhering the solution at the bottom of this post.
    However I was still not able to solve the initial problem concerning how to archive the product.

    Go to Transaction code: SE11 provide database table as : COMC_PR_TOOL_REG then click on display Goto Utilities Menu choose create entries in Table contents menu.. and provide
    Client: your client number
    Programme: COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE
    User name: u r user name
    Exec date: select data
    STEP 2
    Programe: COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE
    Then click on execute or F8
    It will ask u your
    Product name and type all the data..
    deselect check box..

  • Overwriting Dev and Stage DB's with Production creates Missing Dependencies

    When I refresh my Dev and Stage environments by restoring the DBs with those from Production, I get numerous Missing Dependency errors.
    We have lots of custom WSPs, and I think that the cause is that the production WSPs are overwriting those in the other environments without first retracting/deleting them.
    Is there a way to restore without creating these errors?

    if the custom WSP is deployed as a sandbox solution, then it'll be included in the content database refresh.
    the missing dependency stuff is all about finding GUIDs that SharePoint can't resolve... whether that's a web part or a feature.
    The retraction/deletion process doesn't actually clean up contents in the content database (web parts in use, etc)... it just handles the synchronous deployment of the feature between servers. So regardless of how a custom WSP is deployed/updated/etc, missing
    dependencies can happen.
    The question you need to address, is tracking down the missing dependencies, and determining whether they are still in use in PROD (perhaps the component was removed, but the web part still exists on a page), and if so making sure it's also available in
    DEV/TEST... assuming it's necessary... if a web part isn't available in DEV/TEST, maybe it doesn't matter, and maybe the missing dependency isn't an issue.

  • 11g Production: Creating an artifact in the wrong project

    I have an application with multiple projects. I accidentally created a JSF page fragment in the wrong project which in turn created a Web Content folder and all the other usual suspects. However, I cannot 'undo' the fragment creation. I can delete the artifacts one by one but the Web Content and WEB-INF folder remain without contents. How do I safely remove these?

    remove the content on the file system. If the project is not a web project then this is a safe option to do.

    if u r creating in CRM
    In your CRM System, you can maintain master data for configurable products for use in your CRM System. You do this with the help of the integrated Product Modeling Environment (PME).
    You cannot use configurable products created with PME in CRM for processes in R/3 Systems.
    Integration
    Master data that was created with PME is automatically written to your CRM database and is available there for product configuration in all CRMconfiguration scenarios.
    Prerequisites
    You have installed PME locally or can access it via a network installation.

  • Product is not determined while creating Order

    I am trying to create an Order from CRMD_ORDER. I am giving a Valid Product number which is present in the master data.     Please check following:-
    1. If the product you are selecting is there in CRM first. Please check the product in transaction code COMMPR01
    2. The item category determination settings in CRM SPRO
    3. The sales area of the customer and the product are same in the transaction type you are using.
    4. The product (created in CRM or downloaded from ECC) has the ITEM CATEGORY GROUP maintained.

  • Webapp (requires payment) creating multiple/duplicate products

    Each time someone submits a new Webapp that requires payment, a new Ecommerce product is created.  Is there a way to have the Webapp use the same product?  I also have an online shop, and it's making the product management overwhelming.

    I have tested all sorts workarounds for this problem. My situation was that we had a single payment webform set up and we were using this same form to accept payment for multiple events (the web form HTML code was inserted into the event detail and used to submit the event booking).
    Here's what was happening:
    A product was automatically created by Business Catalyst. Product code is the WebFormID of the webform used to submit the order. Product name is a concatenation of {web form name}/{event name}
    An order was created in the CRM referencing the new product.
    BC will create a new product when an order is placed unless the combination of Product Code + Product Name already exists. This is patently stupid since the Product Code is the primary key here. In fact, BC even warns you that this is bad as soon as you view the product page in admin.
    I searched everywhere I could think of to find a way to tell the web form which product to use when creating the order. No joy. There does not seem to be a way to override the automatic creation algorithm. I posted a question about this in the forum here and never got a response.
    As Shannon points out, these ARE real products as far as the database, OneSaas etc are concerned. We use OneSaas to synchronise to Saasu and this synchronisation process repeatedly failed due to missing product codes in Saasu (which is the product master by the way).
    So, the only solution I could find was to duplicate our payment WebForm so that there is a unique and distinct form for every event our customers could purchase. I then modified each event so that it used the corresponding WebFormID of it's dedicated WebForm in the action URL query parameters. I didn't need to modify anything else in the event (since every webform is exactly the same - the HTML is identical. Hooray for code re-use ... NOT!).
    In Saasu, I then create an Item to represent each event booking using the WebFormID as the Item code. There's no need to run around and create the products on BC. It will create diabolical looking product names using the WebFormID and if you create these manually you NEED to make sure that the name you enter is EXACTLY as BC will create it ... or you'll get a duplicate product ... again.
    OneSaas now works correctly as we have it set up to pull in products from Saasu. It can pick up the new orders and relate these to Saasu products/items and then sync the invoices to Saasu.
    Problems With This Approach
    Your WebForm code is duplicated across multiple events. If you want to, say, change the payment methods that you accept you'll need to change each and every webform as well as modify the HTML code in the event.
    You get a unique product for every event that you offer. This may not be what you want (my client didn't). At least it will synchronise.
    You MUST remember to create products in Saasu any time you offer a new event. At least you can use a sensible Item name in Saaus (rather than the auto-created BC garbage) as matching is only done on the code.
    If you have an external process that extracts Items from Saasu so that you can create matching products in BC you'll need to be careful not to overwrite the product names for your webform related products. Or you'll get a duplicate product created on the next order.
    If anyone has a better approach I'd be happy to hear it.
