Hi All,
There are 5 product input templates containing revenue and margin data in excel, And these are linked to budget file.
How can i create a complete product input template in query designer and then create a layout in SEM-BPS. Could anyone also let me know about the which infocubes i need to use.

Please, check the following:
1) SPRO Cross Application Components - Sap Product - Template- Maintain Mini Template. You will see your templates and the fields available
2) Assign the MINI TEMPLATE to the SET TYPE in the Product Hierarchy
Then, from the WebUI you should be able to see your template.

AE product template to create multiple product

I have recently created a product video template in AE for a client and now the client wants to use that template to create around 100 different product videos. I am new to AE and this is a little over my head, so I thought I was ask you guys if you know a way to import different data points in from a file(or something) i.e. price, product image into the template to create all the different product videos without having to do this manually?

Check the "Comps from Spreadsheet" script and similar stuff from AEScripts, but generally there is no 100% automated way of doing such stuff. Differently cut out images will require changes in placement, varying text length will need manual mangling and so on. If there's a hundred products every week and it gets long in the tooth, you should contact one of the scripters to create some custom stuff for you/ your client, otherwise 100 "simple" comps isn't really that much when you think about it. Even "simple" projects in my world rarely have less than 50...

At product/category/sku level there is a property called template.
Find the property in ACC/BCC and provide all the values including the URL property.
In you jsp, you can use this property from product/sku like the way you retrieve any other property from sku/product.
<dsp:valueof param="product.template.URL" />
Using that property with <dsp:include> includes that page.

How should I get Product Catalog template in office 365?

I am having office 365 account and I want to create "Product Catalog" Template Site Collection but when I select New->Private Site Collection, I am not getting Product Catalog Template.
How Should Create a site collection with Product Catalog Template? Should It be done using custom template?
If yes, Then from where I can find that product Template?

Product Catalog template is not available in office 365. However if you are looking for cross site publishing, here is an
alternative way.

Adding facebook comments to large product page

hi guys I just wanted to go over the facebook intergration process *** ive read this http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/kb/add-social-media.html
but couldnt find the container.html page in admin, only dreamweaver.
plus when ive checked out the forums on intergrating facebook comments there seems a work around because the current module doesnt work the way people want it. to.
Is this still the case or should I go about intergrating facebook as described http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/kb/add-social-media.html
What I want to do is use it on this site on the large product section instead of the comments module ive inserted

would adding the script to the large product template manually work better than adding it to the facebook container.html page in the social modules folder?
plus I got the impression peeps had trouble having the comments for that one item showing just on its own page. I want just comments for the product on show appearing on that product page not just any old list of random comments. Is this easy to do now or is there extra url tags needed?
any advice or help will be greatly appreciated

If you just want to keep it simple, Facebook has a social widget system that works from the URL, as long as the URL stays the same the comments will he there for that product or whatever you need.
It is very easy to implment and even has a wizard to help you config the size and look.

Added an SSI menu to a template - now Dreamwever has locked all my pages

Hello - hope someone can help out with this weird thing.
I have built a site here:

Its based on a P7 template and is about 30 pages or so in
size with more to
be added. I thought is wise to make a server side menu.
The site was working perfectly on the server and within
Dreamweaver.
Then I went and broke it all it seems. I enabled Contribute
compatibility so
that client could edit. I then opened up one of the pages to
make some
changes (from within DW) and all the content has gone - all I
can see is the
blue background, the header graphic and the menu. Looking at
the code its
all still there but...at the top of the page this has
appeared:

I went into main.dwt and pulled this code

out of the nav div and then it worked again.
Then I put it back in and removed the leading slash:

Now I can preview my template and its editable again but the
menu does not
work.
I am very confused and perplexed.

Appraisal Template no display in quality

Hi, experts. I have created appraisal template in developement and then got transported to developement testing clint by SCC1 and find for testing allright.
When i have transported the request to quality and production, Template is not visible in either clint.
Although one template which i transported earlier is available in Quality server. I have tried to pull the request twice, i can see this request practically available in these clints.
Pl suggest what may be reason i am not able to see my item. I have the authorisation "SAP ALL" and similar user parameters.

How do I call a large product module onto the page? Here's the format for my small product module:

I'm using a directory to hold all my landing pages called /books. Do I need to type in the full URL of the large product template to call it up? How do I do that?

Is it always the case that the product list view will be nested in ul or table?

There seems to always be unordered list or table markup around the small product mark up using the module_productfeaturelist or tag_productlist.
i.e. There is no way to edit the unordered list html? Is there a work around to remove the ul (or add custom classes to the existing) html?
So in short, the small product list template code will always be constrained by uneditable table or unordered list html?

I'm not entirely sure how else they would have setup the product lists. Why would you want to remove the ul? Catalyst should be assigning classes to your tags: ul=("productfeaturelist") and li =("productItem"), which are fully editable via css. Any other customization to your product layouts would be done through your small product template. What are you trying to accomplish exactly?

How do I create a product or item database so I can search for the product and its files with the products name or four digit code

Ok so I made some progress on this. I have figured out, that I can add a chained "add to cart" to certain items, then when they click the button for Buy now, it will add both items to the cart. However, this would require me to manually build each product page and generate a custom button for each one with both product IDs in it.
Can anyone offer help on how to put some JS in that would append a second function to the onclick function that BC Generates dynamically?
For the products that require a set up fee, I would assume I would add in to either the product templates or in to the item description some JS that would find the onclick of the buynow button and append a second function to also add to cart the setup fee product. The end result being code that looks like this:

Adding a free sample button to the large product layout?

hello guys
im trying to figure out how to add a free sample button to the large product layout
the site is a tiles shop http://ceramic-planet2.businesscatalyst.com/
and we want to give the customer the option of ordering a sample from the large layout of the product they are viewing.
A sample button underneath the add to cart button that is free but still charges a few $ for p&p.
so I figure the sample button would be a add to cart tag of a seperate product added to the layout of the main product it is based on.
any ideas how I can link a new different product to a product layout.
plus not every product will need this button so is there a way of adding it to certain products? im thinking maybe using the custom tag? can I link products to a custom tag?
if im not being clear I apologise but hopefully its simples

almost there Ive played with the cutom template like you said
I made a template called samplebutton which has a tag_name_nolink and a add to cart button. Thats it nothing fancy.
every product is going to have its very own sample button so I couldn't just add this custom template to the large template as it would only work for that one item I linked it to.
so I added the module code with added custom template to the custom tag field for the large product and added it to the page {tag_custom3) thus able to add different sample products to different large products.
and it looks like its going to work.......until I add to cart and the product reverts back to small product template take a look http://ceramic-planet2.businesscatalyst.com/bathroom-tiles/cardiff-marron
any ideas why when I add to cart the product reverts to small product template and how I can stop this from happening?
