    Hello Expert,
How Production Order finish date and time is being comptued by SAP? for example, we create a Production Order via CO01, the basic start date is 29.09.2008 and time is 04:00 it gives us basic finish date is 29.09.2008 and time is 13:28.
how does SAP compute the time 13:28 as it finished time
    Please explain me briefly.

    Hello Guys,
When we create Production Order in R/3 the time is calculated by routing but it is extended at SetUp machine time. It is not correct?. SetUp imachines time used only for first Production Order for the same product and it is plan manually, for others Production Order we need calculate time for production without SetUp machine time being pick up to compute finish time. how could we achieve this? only those Machine time will be check.

  • Production order - post date - cannot change

    Hi,
could anybody, especially from SAP, explain me the background and reason, why user cannot change the PostDate field in OWOR table of production order after the order is created?
And seccond related question is, why item gen. entry and exit are with date, which is in production order as PostDate and user cannot change it as well?
    Real situation:
User creates production order and sets as postdate April 2008. PM will order the material necessary for this production order and the material will arive to the stock at the end of May. At the end of May is posting period for April blocked already.
So now user has no chance without opening the posting period to finish the production order.
Opening and blocking posting period isnt solution for user. Im asking, because now we are implementing new customer and I know, that there will be the same problem and I would like to solve it before he will start.
Thanks a lot for make it clear for me.

    Dear Petr Verner,
1st to clarify your question currently It is not possible to change the Order Date ( Posting Date) for the production order ( to set as "Yes" in OWOR).
2nd, For any change you need in the system behavior, you need to go through Note: 1028874, and post the message accordingly.
3rd on UDF ( User Defined Field), I suggested you to attach and UDF for the Production order (UDF as Date format), and you can record the changes ( date when you want the order to be changed).
Note:- UDF will not effect accounting, but only for record and information purpose.
4th As I understand form your example, you say that An Production order A created in April, its Child Items comes in May.
Later you make Issue for Production. Which you say the JE for Issue for production will happen in April ( though the goods have come in May).
And Receipt for Production will happen in May, which is ok.
    Please clarify the 4th point.

  • Planned order creation with PDS valid on only order start date and not finish date

    Hi All,
We have requirement to allow creation of planned order manually if production version is valid on order start date and not finish date.  This is because lead time of order is longer. I refered OSS notes 385602. I could find out solution for this is implementation of OSS note 694140 to change validity mode at activity level to consider start date of first produce activity  in validity interval. Problem is even If I create order in APO by implementiong this note planned order is not transfered to ECC and it gets stuck with error production version not valid.
Is there any way in ECC to control this? Any config or customization?
    Regards,
    Santosh

    Nilesh,
I think there is a simple procedural skip happening in your business process. You are right when a planned order is created after MRP it would default assign it to the first available production version. 2options available for us,
    1. First use transaction MF50 and do the line loading and assign the quantites to the production versions/Production lines, so that the actual capacity planning is getting completed. This way you can have planned orders with both the production versions and matching to your actual line capacity.
    2. Use Quota arrangement concept, to automatically split the Planned orders during MRP for a percentage based on individual production versions.
Now when backflush is performed S225 table is updated and Planned order qty also gets reduced.
    Hope this helps....

  • Production Order Changes...

I need the ability to identify changes made to a production order and the user that made the change.  There are instances of incorrect changes being made to production orders with no way to identify the user that made the change.  As examples, components are being 'final issued' but no one knows who set the 'final issue' indicator.  Labor hours are changed with no traceability to the user who made the change.
SAP contains the capability to track changes to material master data, BOM data, and routing data.  Is there the same capability for production order data?

    Dear ,
You need to activate Order Change Managment-SPRO-Shop Floor Control -System Modification  in case to trak production order change :
    A.Enhancements for Order Maintenance
1.Enhancement for the Display/Change of Order Header Data
2.Check Changes to the Production Order Header
            3.Checks Changes to Order Operations
B.Enhancements for Order Change Management (OCM)
             1.Check Conflict for Change Step
2.Definition of Comparison Fields for Order Comparison
    C.Enhancements for Order Confirmation
Otherwise , from Basis side you can trak by
    1.ST03
2.STAD-Provide  SAP T-code , user id , Client .Here you can find out what are the changes user did for any production order based on SAP Trxn .

    HI charlie,

  • Send production order changes to external system IDOC

    Hi,
I need to send production order changes to an an external system. I understand that I can trigger idocs using t-code POIT.
but my requirement is when a order is changed, i want to trigger an IDOC to external system with the new PO data...how can I achieve this

    Hi Swathi,
    A very high level idea.
You can use the user exit..."LXCO1U06" and call the transaction POIT in back goround and submit the idoc. This exit is used @ save of TA code CO02. Moreover as the production order can be changed through several transactions like COHV, CO40, COOIS etc....you have to check whether this exit would be applicable for all transaction.

  • Production order TECO date..

    Hi All,
I want to see the TECO date of production order.
    How I can see ?
    Thnx n Rgds,
    Bharat

    Hi Bharat,
Go in coois in that select list at Header level and status profile as standard Profile and put that order number in order and execute the program you get list in that go in change layout in that select change date and add in column and enter you get the date on which teco was done for that order you also select the Entered By that by same way this is person who done the teco.
For Error "Change document not active for order" go in T.code OPL8 in that select your order type and plant combination in that on IMPLEMENTATION tab in that active status change document for your order type then this error not come and you see the status changes in the order itself.
Hope this will solve your problem and reward with point.

  • Production order change

    Dear All,
I want to restrict  the changes made to the order once it is released how can i do it?
    Vinit

    Dear ,
What are  you looking for in production order changes ? Is it qty ? Is it Component ?
I think you don't have to use OCM, you can also use the modification which is provide by SAP in SAP note 390635
I hope you can restrict at user level changes in various screen variant  by appling User exit .You need to take the help of ABAPer to utilise the user exit in CO02.
1.You may use user exit EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001 -(PPCO0007).You can make use of the exception NOT_ALLOWED_WITH_ERROR in this exit
2.PPCO0012 Production Order: Display/Change Order Header Data
3.PPCO0018 Check for changes to production order header
4.PPCO0019 Checks for changes to order operations
For farther information , you can goto  T code CMOD - Project Managment of SAP Enhancements- Click on Utilities in the menu bar - SAP Enhancements - under Exit name Give  * ,remove maximum number of hits value from 500 and execute.Select one which suits to your requirement.
Hope this will be useful to you

  • Regarding Production order changes work flows

    Hi to all,
I activated WS20000387 work flow template. its regarding the production order changes .
briefly: i created one production order, immediately assigned person will get a message in his SAP inbox.
he has to double click/execute on that mail, then system will take u directly to the production order screen. there is no need to enter that Order no.
but here, after double clicking, system is asking The Order no.
we have clients 300,500 and 700.
i executed same work flow in 300 successfully,
700 is not modifiable. thats y i did all the settings in 500 and copied the request to 700.
i am getting  the problem in 700,, i compared all the settings in 300 and 700, but no use,,,all are same,,,but not executing in 700.
anybody can help me in this regard.

You Can use below FM to confirm Production order and it is very simple BAPI.
BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR -> just check in where used list.

  • Timezone effects on Date and Timestamp fields in af:query component

    Hello,
I'm working on an ADF application where time zone is configured as follows:
    * Dynamic View Layer time zone is configured in trinidad-config.xml file and bound to a session scoped value:
    <trinidad-config>
      <skin-family>fusionFx</skin-family>
      <time-zone>#{sessionScope.tz}</time-zone>
</trinidad-config>* ADF BC time zone is configured in adf-config.xml file and bound to View Layer time zone:
    <adf-config>
      <user-time-zone-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/usertimezone/config">
        <user-timezone expression="#{adfFacesContext.timeZone.ID}"/>
      </user-time-zone-config>
</adf-config>The problem here is that Dates and Timestamp values work as expected all over the application except for the af:query component. When displayed as af:inputDate in af:form, Dates and Timestamp values are NOT getting converted to the time zone (TZ) configured in trinidad-config.xml file, whereas TimestampTz and TimestampLtz are. However, when displayed in af:query component, Dates and Timestamp values are automatically converted to View Layer TZ after a search has been performed.
For example, say View Layer TZ = US/Pacific and we enter 01/jun/2011 as a search criteria of type Date and then click on the Search button. The displayed value automatically changes to 25/nov/2011, that is, it gets converted to the WLS JVM time zone, which is set to Europe/London.
Is conversion of Date and Timestamps in af:query component the expected behaviour or could this be a bug?
Is there any way to avoid this conversion?
    Thanks in advance

  • Changing date and/or time of photos

I often change the time of individual iPhoto pictures to change their order in the photo Library.
I change the date and or time in the information section. I have iPhoto sort the photos by date.
I just imported about 1200 photos from a DVD and want to change the order of some of them, but when I change the time, the new time stays there, but the photo either does not move or moves to the incorrect place. I have closed and reopened iPhoto and even restarted the computer.
I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
    Thanks in advance.

Try using the Photo menu ==> batch change date and time (if the photos either do not have a data and time or they are not in the date time sequence you want or the adjust date and time (if you want to add a constant amount to all photos selected keeping them in the same date/time sequence but with a different date and time - and select the change the original option
