Hi,
is a product composed of some modules ? Specially is Customer support a module of CSC (customer care ) ?
Many thanks.More over for your information,
In EBS, the Oracle Telesales application provides a common User Interface that
integrates with serveral other applications. Depending on the desired
functionality these products must also be installed. For example, in order
to perform Quoting functionality the Oracle Quoting/Order Capture application
is required. In addition, the Oracle Collections module is tightly linked to
the Telesales application and should also be enabled even if Collections is not
being used. The installation required for Collections should be resolved in an
upcoming release, until then it is required for the basic Telesales
functionality
These are the application which can be shared and installed when Your company is using Oracle teleservics

- Oracle Collections(IEX)
- Oracle Quoting/Order Capture(ASO)
- Oracle Service(CS)
- Oracle Customer Support (CSC)

We upgraded our app server from 10.1.2.2 to 10.1.2.3. I converted some of our Oracle Forms to xml before upgrading. I noticed the following "Module version" element and value? What version of Oracle Forms is this 10.1.0.2 , 10.1.2.2, or 10.1.2.3. When I add upgrade=yes on the compile line the fmb file dates do not change and the xml version tag stays the same in unix. Whenver I do this on windows the files dates of the fmbs do change, but the version tag also stays the same. Is it possible the 10.1.2.3 compiler uses 10.1.0.2 version for fmbs and knows there is nothing to change so it leaves the fmb untouched when upgrade=yes?
<?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
<Module version="101020300" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Forms"> Edited by: Mark Reichman on Aug 18, 2010 1:33 PMAlthough the "upgrade" option does not throw an error, it really doesn't apply any longer. It was used historically to convert SqlForms to Forms Menu Modules. Here is the text from the Forms Online help for this option:
Upgrades modules from Oracle Forms 4.5, or from SQL*Menu 5.0, to an Oracle Forms menu module.You gain nothing from including "upgrade=yes" when you compile your 10.1.2 modules.
Regarding the Module version you see in the XML or FMT, this version represents the engine used to create the module and not the Forms version. This version will not necessarily line up with the Forms version to which you are accustom to viewing. This is more of an internal reference. Your form's modules will not change in any way when you patch from 10.1.2.0 to 10.1.2.2 to 10.1.2.3. This is why there is generally no need to recompile when you patch. The changes are made in our product and not your app. -
How to implement the WIP in production planning module?
Hi Gurus,
Good afternoon! We are planning to Implement the WIP in Production Planning Module. Current set-up, we create production order and confirmed for all process in production transaction especially the consumption of raw materials and Goods receipt of FG from one Production order. We have two activity in production transaction. But we would like to separate the process per activity. Can we ask on how to separate the transaction or implementing the WIP? To create production order as semi-finished goods and one production order for final finished goods. We would like to ask for your expertise and advise on how to implement WIP in SAP PP that there is no duplication of manufacturing FG cost.
We would like also to know all FI entries per transaction to make sure there is no double entries in manufacturing cost of FG.
thank you,

Product costing without production planning module
Is there any way to work with product costing module without production planning for service sector.
Hello
You may use the product costing without quantity structure. This is useful if you do not have PP module but have materials and you need to calculate the standard cost of the materials.
In case you do not have materials and only have kinds of services then these can be created as activities for a cost center like a FICO consulting activity for SAP cost center. You may then calculate a price per hour of the activity and may charge it to the service order/ internal order.

Can anybody provide me good step by step procedurehow create smart form and module pool programming.
My email Id is [email protected]hi,
SAP Smartforms can be used for creating and maintaining forms for mass printing in SAP Systems. The output medium for Smartforms support printer, fax, e-mail, or the Internet (by using the generated XML output).
According to SAP, you need neither have any programming knowledge nor use a Script language to adapt standard forms. However, basic ABAP programming skills are required only in special cases (for example, to call a function module you created or for complex and extensive conditions).
1. Create a new smartforms
Transaction code SMARTFORMS
Create new smartforms call ZSMART
2. Define looping process for internal table
Pages and windows
First Page -> Header Window (Cursor at First Page then click Edit -> Node -> Create)
Here, you can specify your title and page numbering
&SFSY-PAGE& (Page 1) of &SFSY-FORMPAGES(Z4.0)& (Total Page)
Main windows -> TABLE -> DATA
In the Loop section, tick Internal table and fill in
ITAB1 (table in ABAP SMARTFORM calling function) INTO ITAB2
3. Define table in smartforms
Global settings :
Form interface
Variable name Type assignment Reference type
ITAB1 TYPE Table Structure
Global definitions
Variable name Type assignment Reference type
ITAB2 TYPE Table Structure
4. To display the data in the form
Make used of the Table Painter and declare the Line Type in Tabstrips Table
e.g. HD_GEN for printing header details,
IT_GEN for printing data details.
You have to specify the Line Type in your Text elements in the Tabstrips Output options.
Tick the New Line and specify the Line Type for outputting the data.
Declare your output fields in Text elements
Tabstrips - Output Options
For different fonts use this Style : IDWTCERTSTYLE
For Quantity or Amout you can used this variable &GS_ITAB-AMOUNT(12.2)&
5. Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program
REPORT ZSMARTFORM.
Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program.
Collecting all the table data in your program, and pass once to SMARTFORMS
SMARTFORMS
Declare your table type in :-
Global Settings -> Form Interface
Global Definintions -> Global Data
Main Window -> Table -> DATA

What is SAP Smart Forms?
SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.
You can check individual nodes as well as the entire form and find any existing errors in the tree structure. The data flow analysis checks whether all fields (variables) have a defined value at the moment they are displayed.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to include graphics, which you can display either as part of the form or as background graphics. You use background graphics to copy the layout of an existing (scanned) form or to lend forms a company-specific look. During printout, you can suppress the background graphic, if desired.
SAP Smart Forms also support postage optimizing.
Also read SAP Note No. 168368 - Smart Forms: New form tool in Release 4.6C
What Transaction to start SAP Smart Forms?
Execute transaction SMARTFORMS to start SAP Smart Forms.
Key Benefits of SAP Smart Forms:
SAP Smart Forms allows you to reduce considerably the implementation costs of mySAP.com solutions since forms can be adjusted in minimum time.
You design a form using the graphical Form Painter and the graphical Table Painter. The form logic is represented by a hierarchy structure (tree structure) that consists of individual nodes, such as nodes for global settings, nodes for texts, nodes for output tables, or nodes for graphics.
To make changes, use Drag & Drop, Copy & Paste, and select different attributes.
These actions do not include writing of coding lines or using a Script language.
Using your form description maintained in the Form Builder, Smart Forms generates a function module that encapsulates layout, content and form logic. So you do not need a group of function modules to print a form, but only one.
For Web publishing, the system provides a generated XML output of the processed form.
Smart Forms provides a data stream called XML for Smart Forms (XSF) to allow the use of 3rd party printing tools. XSF passes form content from R/3 to an external product without passing any layout information about the Smart Form.

Module pool programs are created in abap development work bench (TCODE: SE80).
Here we can do all the works whatever you can do in abap.
Module pool programs are also called dialog programs.
The module Pool are reports prepared for different screens and to manage the sequence of events of these screens, in the transaction SE80 you can see all the dynpros that you have for this kind of report, add new ones, add all types of element to the report.
Process Before Output is the part of the dynpro code that is processed before the user can do anything with the data in the screen
Process After Input is the part of the dynpro code that is processed after the interaction with the user.
module pool programs are excuted using Tcodes

WSUS products and classifications
Hi,
Does anyone have a powershell script to list the products and classifications enabled on a wsus server?
Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
RickHello Rick,
if you are running Windows Server 2012, you got the cmdlets Get-WsusProduct and
Get-WsusClassification to do the job for you. If you are running older versions,
this module here might just be what you need.

Tcode for planned production and actual production

i have the same problem, did you find a solution?

Acrobat Pro 6 Average Daily Production and Math.round problem
Acrobat Pro 6 Average Daily Production and Math.round problem
(Production.0) (154) (whole units) . (Production.1) (90) (fractional) / (divided by) 31 (days) results in (Average.0) (4)(whole units) . (Average.1) (10) (fractional) using :Math.round. Noticed that 154 (whole units) . 85 through 99 (fractional) also show 4.10. (without Math.round : 5.00)
Method:
Production.0 (whole units) . Production .1 (fractional) / Days = (Average Daily Production) (Average.0 (whole units) . (Average.1) (fractional)
 Production.0 (value not calculated), Production 1 (calculated) (event.value = util.printx("0099", (event.value)).substr(-2,2); Average.0 (value not calculate), and Average.1 has following calculation:
var punits = this.getField("Production.0");
var pfrac = this.getField("Production.1");
var average = 0.0;
average = (punits.value + pfrac.value / 100) / this.getField("Days").value;
this.getField("Average.0").value = average - average % 1;
this.getField("Average.1").value = util.printx("0099", Math.round((average % 1 * 100))).substr(-2,2);
Math.round appears to be a problem. Also, could you explain the purpose of 0099 . Anyway, why would 154.85 through 154.90 divided by 31 give 4,10. Also, their must be a better way, to find the average daily production. All you have to do is divided the production (whole. fractional) by the days, and display the average daily production as (whole. fractional). Any suggestions??There are a many loose ends in your question.
First, I have never seen before a variable type called 'var'. Is it a java primitive or a class?
Next, I cannot seem to find any class that has the printx method.
When it comes to substr(-2,2), I get confused. First, I thought that it was a method of the String class, but I only got as far as substring(beginIndex, endIndex).
If you really must break the production and average into pieces, try this:
float average = (punits + pfrac/100) / days;
int avg_units = (int)average;
int avg_frac = (int)( (average - avg_units) * 100 );My guess is that util.printx("0099", x) formats x having two optional digits and two mandatory digits, showing 0-99 as 00-99, but allows to show numbers with three and four digits.
154.85/31 = 4,9951612903225806451612903225806
154.99/31= 4,9996774193548387096774193548387
If you round the fraction of theese numbers multiplied by 100 ( = 99.51.. and 99.968...) you get 100, and this will be the output of printx. My guess for "4.10" is that substr(-2,2) returns the two first characters of the string, because the start index should not be zero. (According to java docs, substring throws an exception on a negative index, so what kind of class are you really using ??????) -
