Program error sur photoshop cs4
could not complete your request because of a program error sur photoshop cs4 au moment de l'enregistrement
Sounds like it did not install correctly. Uninstall, then reinstall. If that does not help, use the Adobe CC cleaner. It will remove all traces of your Adobe programs. Then do a normal install. If it still is not working, let us know.

Program error message - Photoshop CS4 for Mac
I started to get the message "Could not complete your request because of a program error" a little while back, but it would go away after restarting photoshop, so I wasn't too worried about it. But now I've encountered this one file that won't let me do anything to it. As soon as I open it it pops up with the error message. No amount of clicking makes it go away, and I have to force quit photoshop. Always the same thing. I read up a little about how to fix it but I haven't found anything that works (I tried the file info>copyright idea and deleting Photoshop's preferences, even getting rid of extra fonts, and clearing the library>cache.) Any ideas? I'm not sure what to do!
More info:
It's a psd file.
There are only 2 layers on the files, one is a vector smart image.
I opened the file and was able to edit it fine on a friend's computer, no error messages whatsoever - so it's not a corrupt file. (But that doesn't solve my computer's dilemma.)
Thanks in advance.Hi,
I have this same problem. I use Font Agent Pro and I only have about 50-ish foundry fonts activated. I'm wondering if anyone else has found a fix? The second I open Photoshop I get an error message and I have to force quit, let's not even begin thinking about opening a file.
I'm on OSX 10.6.8, running CS4. This is getting frustrating. I'm considering reinstalling the whole suite, there goes my entire evening. -
Strange system log error from Photoshop CS4
Hi.
I keep getting this strange system log error from Photoshop CS4.
It comes after a wile when using PS CS4.
I tried to chance the memory settings and scratch disc to see if that helped. It didn't.
I also checked all my ram for anything bad. 16GB in my Mac Pro Intel OS X 10.5.6
Everything is updated to latest included Adobe apps.
This is the system log error

Getting a program error while Photoshop CS3 is running.
I am running Photoshop Version 10.0.1 on a Mac Pro desktop running OS X Version 10.5.8. It is usually running as I normally do not quit the application. When I bring the Mac out of screen saver mode I have been getting notifications that it cannot perform a certain request because of a program error. I do not have any file open in Photoshop. How do I get the messages to stop?
Yeah, it's a MacOS bug in the screensaver code. Apple thinks they fixed the bug in MacOS 10.6, and I believe we worked around it in Photoshop CS4. In CS3 and 10.5.x, there's not much you can do.

Runtime error in Photoshop cs4
I have been using the Adobe Photoshop CS4 application for a while now...however...it has kind of broken on me now.
Everytime I run the application now, it gives me a runtime error.
"Runtime Error!
Program C:\Pro...
after instaling new updates from adobe flash & reader i have uninstalled everything and re installed it all and i still get the error
im runninhg windowns vista 64xWhat caused the problem with the cs4 Photoshop? i don't know. all i did was install an update for abobe flash and reader and then i had a problem with Photoshop. i did uninstall Photoshop and then again reinstalled it and still did not work.so i must say the answer you gave me was not only useless but wrong too. what are runtime errors i don't know & don't care & the same with DLL's what i do care about is that the program that i have works properly
i do think the correct answer would have been try uninstalling and then reinstalling the complete CS4web software and not just the Photoshop software.
Why because that did fix the runtime error and everything works great.
Sorry, but this is a rather useless post. Runtime errors are just generic crashes, most of the time caused by some missing DLL or damaged/ bad driver. Unless you know exactly what you did and can provide more details from the crash report, this is going nowhere. Could be anything from a graphics driver problem to more genric issues...
Thanks anyway -
Error of Photoshop CS4 after the installation of the font.
b OS : Vista 32bit sp1
b Photoshop Version : CS4
In CS3 version, the program worked well after the addition of the font in Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder.
But in CS4, no fonts folder exists in Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/ folder.
So I created fonts folder and added the fonts, and then I run photoshop.
After all,
The program did not work with error I want to know how to recognize the fonts without the procedure(the installation of fonts) as CS3 version.
Please...Thanks.
But after the deletion of files, the problem did not solve.
I deleted Adobefnt11.lst file in three folders as your advice.
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Adobe\Fonts
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport\CMaps
But after the deletion of files, the problem did not solve.
I searched Photoshop CS4 manual of Adobe.com and found that it was written that it could access if the fonts were added in Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Font folder. However it doesn't work in mine.
Why it(errors and end of photoshop by force) happens? I don't know.
My OS system is vista. Can't be the installation of fonts(Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Font) used in vista? -
Pixel Bender Gallery Error in Photoshop CS4 Student Edition
When trying to access pixel bender filters with Photoshop CS4, filters>Pixel Bender>Pixel Bender Gallery, I get an Error dialog images as follows...
I have read the ReadMe file and have the GeForce 8500 GT Video Card on this list.
The Pixel Bender Toolkit is installed at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Utilities\Pixel Bender Toolkit c/w pbk filters that run in the toolkit.
In Photoshop there are a number of pbk filters in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Pixel Bender Files.
The Operating system for the computer is Windows XP Professional c/w service pack 2 at least.
My question is... why am I getting this error message and how can It be fixed? Here are two further images and an NVIDIA System Information report you asked for that I have prepared, I hope this will help.
I am aware that I could download trial versions of Photoshop CS5 and its Pixel plugin version, but first, this first image shows a message that loads from Photoshop CS4 when I start the program and has always done so from day one of owning the machine and the software, could this be of relevence to what could be the root of the issue at hand.
I also use 3D Studio Max with OpenGL and have noted rotating moving objects in 3D space of a file size of 10MB is very slow and chuggie, is this relevent, does this information give any clues.
Thankyou again for your time and effort in helping me resolve Pixel Bender Gallery Error issue.

Not enough Ram memory and cannot save due to a program error in photoshop cs6
Hi, I'm currently a beginner at photoshop cs6, and I've been using it since december last year, mostly to draw stuff and it has worked fine with few to no errors at all.
However, recently when I've been drawing, the same message keeps popping up over and over again "Can't use (tool) due to the computer not having enough ram" followed by either "cannot save due to program error" or, it just simply crashes.
This is obviously a something that worries me A LOT since at first, I thought that it was just a small error, but recently, it's been like this for several day s and I've been forced to re-start the computer (and photoshop) countless times... It really slows down my working progress and is VERY annoying to deal with.
As a beginner though, I don't really know how to fix this. I've been trying to look up some answers on this site, but I've just not found any answer yet...
I'm currently using photoshop cs6 that's up to date and I've got lots of memory left on my computer, so, I'm wondering. What exactly is the cause of this problem, and how can I fix it? Please answer as fast as you can.. I'm getting a bit desperate...
Oh, in case you're wondering, they're all saved as PSD files and every single one of them has about 15+ layers on them.It would help if you could list a few things:
1. Your operating system
2. How much physical RAM do you actually have in your machine?
3. Under Preferences > Performance, have you allocated "Scratch Disk(s)"?
4. Also under Preferences > Performance > Memory Usage, what is the "Ideal Range" listed there, and what % is "Let Photoshop Use"? -

Multiple Program Files / Multiple Photoshop CS4 Programs
I hate this.
On a machine running Intel i7 processor (6G of Ram) I upgraded from XP 32 bit to WIN 7 (64). I was running an old version of Photoshop (maybe CS4) then (perhaps) reinstalled after the upgrade to CS4.
I have two Program Files folders and each has an instance of Photoshop:
Program Files\Adobe
- Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)
And,
Program Files (x86)
- Adobe Photoshop CS4
I can only guess that when I installed Win 7, it kept the old CS4 and then I installed CS4 for 64 bit. If I go into Uninstall Programs and begin to uninstall the ONE instance of Photoshop CS4, I can tell that the one that is being executed is the Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit).
I'm at a point where the C drive is getting full, and to make matters worse (depending on your perspective) I have downloaded CS5 and would like to install it, but need to 'clean' up what I have first.
Not that anyone would have actually done all of this, but my inclination is to uninstall my ONE instance of CS4 - all programs in the suite. I don't know if that will get rid of the extra installations. There's also Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Midia Encoder, etc. in the Program Files (x86) folder In the folder where I think I am actually executing Photoshop, I only see Llightroom. That means that I'm executing Photoshop (and maybe Lightroom) in the Program Files folder and all the rest of the suite in Program Files (x86) folder.
So, the question is: If I completely uninstall Adobe CS4 and there remains some Adobe programs in either Program Files folders, you think I can just delete them?
Any other suggestions?I don't have a choice in uninstalling all of CS4 - regardless of where they reside. Hopefully, the Uninstall Program will figure it out.
If you hear a loud ARRGGGG from the Atlanta Area, it will be me putting a curse on the whole Windows World, not me biting on anything.
I'll report back unless the PC is dark, and silent (other than the spitting of sparks and flames from it's insides).
Sometime Later . . .
OK, all of the uninstalls seems to have uninstalled everything in all locations.
I still hate this.
Sometime Later Still
I still don't have enough space on C: to install - not according to Adobe Knowledge that says I need 24 GIG.
Any ideas about putting it on another internal drive? -

Program Errors with Photoshop since loading Mavericks
Ever since I loaded Mavericks I can not open or save files in Photoshop. I keep getting a program error. Photo shop does can not recognize my folders and just "blinks" and does nothing. I can not go to file open and open a file. I can not save to folders. All I can do is drag what I want to open on to the Photoshop icon. It will open then, but I can't save it to any folder.
So far Mavericks is not worth the upgrade.I had this problem too. Spent 8 hours (i'm stubborn) uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop 5.1. Nothing worked.
I tried the update Java that was touted on another Apple forum. Still got the same error.
Grrr...
I posted my problem on Adobe's help forum with the log file, and was told it is a problem with the OS.
I did a Time Machine back up, plus a full copy of my hard drive to an external drive, and ran the Maverick reinstall per Apple Support directions.
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13871
After the reinstall, the Java update screen splashed and I ran the update. This time Java worked, and Photoshop opened. Although, Adobe swore the Java update is bogus, because Photoshop doesn't use Java (duh, I know). But other Adobe programs that run on the web do, and there is where I believe the bug lies festering.
Anyway. Reinstall Maverick and see if Photoshop will finally work for you.
Cheers! -
Program Errors - I am getting all kinds of program errors with Photoshop CC
Since I updated my photoshop version to CC I am getting all kinds of program errors.
It is happening when:
I try and add a shape
Change the active colour in the tools
Use a pattern
This is what I have noticed so far.
EllissaOS is Yosemite - 10.10.1
Photoshop CC 2014
Apparently all up to date, and in fact it has been happening since I
changed from another version of Photoshop to this one. -
Error number 148.3 Licensing for this product has stopped working. I rebooted several times to no avail. Still get the same error message everytime I try to start Photoshop. I'm using Windows 7 -- 64 bit
If you can not use CS4 menu Help>Activate|Deactivate to get the install working again you may need to re-install CS4.
