Programming Challenge - creating a "Stopwatch" in ABAP

Howdy,
I was going to get a colleague to create this in VB but I'm sure you could do something like this in SAP.
Basically I just want to write a program that acts as a "stopwatch". It just needs three buttons -START, STOP RESET.And it jus6t needs to show the time that has transpired.
Any ideas on how I could do this - does SAP already ahve something like this?

in pseudocode: (you will need a dynrpo aand some PAI Logig and fields in which you disply l_start l_stop and l_diff.

I am new to XML and I am not familiar with JAVA or Web Service. I have searched in SDN and googled for a sample program for creating XML document from ABAP with SOAP details. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything.
I have a requirement for creating an XML file from ABAP with SOAP details. I have the data in the internal table. There is a Schema which the client provided and the file generated from SAP should be validating against that Schema. Schema contains SOAP details like Envelope, Header & Body.

I have tried to create Transformation (Transaction XSLT_TOOL) in SAP with below code. Also in CALL transformation I am not able to change the encoding to UTF-8. It's always show UTF-16.

ABAP Program to Create TRs in SOLMAN

Currently, we are creating TRs through SOLMAN_WORKCENTER transaction. It is being done manually by going to 'Change management' Tab in 'SOLMAN_WORKCENTER'->'PROJECTS'(QGATE Project not CHARM)-> TR is being created for a specific project using 'Create Transport Request' button.
I was wondering, whether this process can be automated, so that developers can directly create a TR, through a web application or email. The frontend application will be creating TR in backend in SOLMAN after some validations.
I'm trying to write an ABAP program to create TRs in backend in SOLMAN, following the same process, which is being followed now using SOLMAN_WORKCENTER. This program will be called by the frontend application. This way developers can create a TR, without having direct access to SOLMAN.
I tried to use CL_CTS* classes, but it's not working. Kindly suggest some BAPIs or classes available for it.
If anybody has already worked in development of a similar solution, kindly share the technical knowhow. Also, please let me know any solutions from SAP available for it.

But, we wanted to add our own validations as per our standards like naming convention of TRs, project to be used etc...
Otherwise, the TRs created by developers in an incorrect approach, will be very hard to manage.
That's why I was looking for an ABAP code to create a TR in SOLMAN_WORKCENTER, so that we can add our own validations to it before creating the TR. If the validations fail, it should't create the TR.
Using the webdynpro link for SOLMAN_WORKCENTER as suggested, some of the functionalities can be controlled by authorizations maybe. But, we'll not able able to add any extra validations required.

can u give me step wise procedure to create jobs for a program with a variant name thru ABAP???
Also, can a transaction can be scheduled as a job to run in background with a variant name???

Hi,
To create a job through ABAP program you can do the following.
Go to Menu bar.
In there, go to SYTSTEM> SERVICES> JOBS--> DEFINE JOB.
Then give the JOB NAME and CLASS in the screen that comes up.
This is how we schedule a program.
Now, to create a variant for a program -
First activate your program in SE38. Then execute it .
Now, click on SAVE button. It will open up the variant creation screen. Give the details there like variant name and value for the fields. Save and come back.

Program to create Debit and Credit Memos

Hello everybody!
I am new to SAP and I need to develop ABAP program to create Debit and Credit Memos...
1. Debit/Credit memos created with header (Higher level) item and sub item/s
2. One Debit/Credit memo created per customer
3. A part of information for memos program will receive through XI (Excel file coming through XI)
maybe someone can help?

You dont need a custom prog to create a debit memo or credit memo.
You can raise a Credit Memo for a Vendor using the transction code FB65 (without reference to an invoice) or MIRO (if it is with reference to an invoice) and the system would pass the following accounting entry
Dr. Expenses A/c
Cr. Vendor A/c
This particular document would have a payment term and payment due date. While running Automatic Payment Process, depending on the payment method the system will pick up the document and create a cheque / electronic transfer etc for the vendor with the following entry
Dr. Vendor A/c
Cr. Bank Clearing A/c
In the case of Customer you can account the credit memo (without reference to invoice) using FB75 or VA01 (Order Type CR, if it is with reference to an invoice). While you create the billing document for the order type CR the system would raise the following accounting
Dr. Expenses A/c
Cr. Customer A/c
This particular document would have a payment term and payment due date. While running Automatic Payment Process, depending on the payment method the system will pick up the document and create a cheque / electronic transfer etc for the customer with the following entry

Creating a stopwatch in Labview 6

Good day to all,
I am trying to create a stopwatch in Labview 6. I'm very new to the program and don't know where to strat. Any help wouold be appreciated.

First, you should start with some tutorials to learn the basics of LabVIEW. After that, it should be easy to put something together that functions like a stopwatch.
You probably need a while loop, a few boolean buttons, and a numeric display, some tools from the timing palette and a lenght of wire and some trimmings.
Anther possibility would be to search the forum for the word "stopwatch". Have you tried?

This program works fine, but when I create my query, I can just see the result in abap list.
When I choose "abap list viewer" or "Excel format", the result is more like :

Is there a way to show the result in the viewer ?
I added a "WRITE :/ <column1>, <column2>, but the result is the same.
I also wonder if we can do a "group by " in ABAP.
And do you know how to make a condition " where my_date < today -19 days" ?

in bw side, you create a abap program to trigger an event in r/3,
and include this abap program in your process chain, the abap program like
CALL FUNCTION 'BP_EVENT_RAISE'
EXPORTING
eventid = 'ZRUNJOB_DEL'
and in r/3 schedule the program to delete previous data with 'after event',
the event name is same as raise by bw process chain, in this sample ZRUNJOB_DEL.

User Exit that will allow the SAP program to create DN, but not create IDO

The requirement is when we select 1 PO in VL10g transaction and click the u201CBackgroundu201D button, the user exit will allow the SAP program to create Delivery Number, but not create IDOC for the Delivery Number to send it to warehouse system. Also the created Delivery Number must be in changeable mode in ECC system .I need to find any exit to make the DN table field LIKP-VLSTK not to be u201CBu201D (distributed). The B will make DN not changeable in ECC system which is hard coded value in standard program. so the DN should be changeable.
Please suggest me the User Exit name which serves my purpose.

you need to modify table TSE05 - for APP_OBJ = ADDM and keyword = REPORT
with your own pattern.
you can also use FM RS_MODIFY_TSE05 for that.
