Project Server 2010 cannot compile proxy assembly Project Server Services
I am trying to compile Project Server Services dll by opening the source folder in the SDK and running compileWCFPRoxyAssembly.cmd. However, it fails to compile giving me error:
'sn' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Any suggestion what is missing?
Or any suggestion for precise steps to be followed to compile the proxy assembly?
Check this location which has the PSI.snk key C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Project 2010\Documentation\Intellisense\WSDL
Copy the key file to the desired location and re run the proxy compilation
However on a side note if you use the ProjectServerServices.dll in your project it has all the references precompiled for all WCF's all you would need is a reference and call any WCF you would want, i prefer this method over using individual files or
references to services

Cannot compile Java files or create Java Project
Hi,
I cannot compile java files and also didn't see any option
for creating java project using flex 2 builder.
Actually am trying to create a FDS project with an option to

Cannot compile arduino project
Hi guys,
I'm trying to work with arduino IDE, but I cannot compile even Blink example. I'm always seeing following error:
/usr/share/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/bin/../lib/gcc/avr/4.3.2/../../../avr/bin/ld: cannot find -lm
Any ideas how I can fix it?Worked also for my Asus laptop!

Solution was found in discussion in package arduino.
In short words:
You need to install package avr-gcc
Replace build-in avr-gcc compiler by same from package installed on previous step:

I have installed Project Server 2013 on SharePoint 2013, and installed the first PWA which worked. But I needed to change some configurations and so I deleted the PWA instances, but now I cannot delete the Project Server Service Application. Every attempt
to delete the Service Application it gives the error above, namely:

SBS 2003 to 2011 Migration - Exchange Server 2010 cannot be installed

We have a Small Business Server 2003 server that we are trying to migrate to SBS 2011 using the out of the box migration process. After the install, the SBS console showed a couple installation issues - the big one turned out to be "Exchange Server

I should add that the source server's AD configuration might not be perfect due to this being the second attempt at a SBS 2011 migration install.
I'd be grateful for any help I can get on this as SBS migration has been plauged with multiple setbacks already. I really need to get this done! ;)

I used the 'official' migration
guide plus this page (http://www.techieshelp.com/step-by-step-guide-to-migrating-to-sbs-2011/)
as my migration references. The SBS migration prep tool gave no errors on the source server when I ran it.
I have a full system drive image plus a a system state backup from before migration. Though I am very loathed to rollback the migration and attempt a new one - again. I will do some searching to see if I can resolve the Exchange server problem and continue
the migration/installation. If not, then its a system state restore for me. One of Al's links had a resource for doing a thorough check of AD - which something I'd run if I have to another migration attempt.
I am also really tempted to open up a paid MS support ticket for them to help me fix this problem. :) -

I have SharePoint Foundation 2010 running on a single server with databases, with a second server in the farm serving as a 2nd app tier. Both server have the exact same versions of SharePoint loaded (according to the Central Admin site).
Whenever I try to run a search from any site in my SharePoint Foundation 2010 installation (in this example I typed "this is my query"), it hangs for 20-30 seconds while the IE status bar says:
Waiting for http://SERVER2010:80/tfs/SITE1/_layouts/searchresults.aspx?k=this%20is%20my%20query&u=http%3A%2F%2Ftfs2010db%2Ftfs%2FSITE1
Then it finally returns a results screen with an error that says: "Your search cannot be completed because of a service error. Try your search again or contact your administrator for more information."

Not sure what "resource limit is reached" actually means. This SharePoint installation is running under regular SQL 2008 R2, and the
WSS_Content database is fairly small (10gig). I've reviewed the Search Service, the process account running it, the
WSS_SEARCH index database, and verified that the Content database is using the proper index database. Everything looks like it should be crawling/indexing/working fine. But the WSS_SEARCH
database isn't very large, so I'm not sure if the crawling is actually filling it with anything.
Not sure where to start seriously troubleshooting this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.Hi,
The query ran in tens of seconds. This indicates that at some point a bad plan compiled and stayed in the cache.
It may have gotten there because the statistics were out of date.
A possible way to keep this from happening is to rebuild statistics with full scan more frequently.
Try free the proc cache and see the result.

Hi, I've this problem when any program use a connection with Oracle provider over any server (2 distinct server access to Oracle 9i with forms applications).
The specific error is:

This problem is resolve (temporary) executing:
Alter Procedure <<Any procedure valid name>> compile
But this is not an elegant solution.
Please, ODP save something else in memory than executing this sentence clear an resolve this situation ??

ClaudioThis sounds odd - I don't see how compiling an Oracle procedure would help .NET to locate an assembly - you're not trying to run an assembly inside Oracle are you?
Tell is more about what you're trying to do. If this is just a common program that is running on a server and trying to connect to Oracle, it sounds like ODP is not installed on the computer that is running this code. You should see Oracle.DataAccess in the GAC.

I have a problem with my setup. My labview project has been running perfectly till today, when I cannot compile any project. My project works perfectly in another computer. Same with "simpler" projects that I have. I cannot compile. I have tried to compile an empty vi, but the problem is the same.
I decided to remove all labview components from my host computer. I removed everything from the host (NI-MAX/my-computer/sofware, all programs selected) and reinstalled Labview 2013. After doing that, the problem still happens. Attached you have a picture where you can check which error appears. It even happens with empty fpga VI.
I am running Labview 2013 in an Windows 7 64bit. Xilinx 14.4 13.0.0
My software package worked perfectly till today. Maybe something got corrupted...

We have a dataset generation class that runs remotely as a windows service in VB.NET.
On some machine, when they have connected and are running a query, they get an exception thrown

Now everybody is hitting the same server, using the same installation of ODP.NET. It's in the GAC and installed fine.
Any ideas why we might be getting this?Add to that some users are now also getting Data provider internal error(-3001) errors ???

Cannot establish proxy connection: 502 Proxy Error ?
Im receiving a strange error message within GRID (Oracle 10.1.0.4.0/Aix5.2) every time I try and start/stop a Db on the ‘Startup/Shutdown:Specify Host and Target Database Credentials’
Cannot establish proxy connection: 502 Proxy Error ( The specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port is not allowed. ISA Server is not configured to allow SSL requests from this port. Most Web browsers use port 443 for SSL requests. )
Whats causing this issue ?In order for you to configure the Management Service to use a proxy server, this task is pretty similar as to configure a proxy server in a browser, you must declare the proxy server, its port and the exceptions where the proxy is to be skipped.
1. Edit the Oracle management server configuration file:
ORACLE_HOME/sysman/config/emoms.properties
2. Either add or comment out and configure these entries at the above referred file:
proxyHost=proxyhost.domain
proxyPort=proxy_port
dontProxyFor=.domain1, .domain2, .domain3, ...
3. You must rebounce your OMS so this file can be re-read.
This is the manual approach. This configuration can also be done at the same grid control at the configuration section.
