Project Spartan and the WebBrowser control

I'm a C# WinForms developer working in Visual Studio 2010 and I use the WebBrowser control in my desktop applications for users to view web content through the
desktop app.
I have 2-questions related to the upcoming Project Spartan browser, which is supposed to replace IE as the browser.
Will the Spartan browser (or whatever its final name will be) continue to support the WebBrowser control in the toolbox? The control currently utilizes the functionality
of the user's existing IE browser. If IE continues to be present on new Windows 10 desktop systems along with Spartan, then it probably won't be an issue.
One issue the Web Browser Control on Windows has, is that it’s perpetually stuck in IE 7 rendering mode by default. This is can be seen in articles like

This requires a registry setting to set its emulation mode. Making the setting in the registry works. However, I would like to "Future-Proof" my application
to account for any changes to the user's browser and Project Spartan certainly could prove to be a game changer if it won't support this development control.

In your comments you stated that "the Trident-based WebBrowser class will continue to work." However, is the
existing WebBrowser control in my .Net Framework 4.0 Visual Studio 2010 toolbox, based on the "Trident WebBrowser class"?
That is my primary concern, as my applications, which use the browser control, utilize IE's functionality. If IE12 and Spartan will use a different rendering engine, then I have to wonder if applications making use of the .Net 4.0 WebBrowser control will
break.
Do your comments of both IE 12 and Spartan being based on Trident and EdgeHTML, imply that Microsoft will introduce a different browser toolbox control, or
will there continue to be backwards compatibility for the existing browser control? Thank you again for your insight.

When I open the Mask panel, it takes up the entire screen width and the Looks controls disappear, Also, there is a new panel below the Mask panel that seems to have no purpose that I can find. The documentation says "Mask and Look panels - The Mask panel is now placed next to the Look panel. WIth the masking and grading tools placed side-by-side, you can now work faster on the mask workflow." Is there a way to move, hide, or otherwise manipulate the panels for a custom layout? All the examples I can find on the Web show the Looks panel to the left of the Mask panel where the controls are available.

Ok, here is what I have so far. Appdelete the iWork and reinstalled. Pages and Number work, but not Keynote.
Now, I downloaded a couple apps that I need, and no matter what I did, the spinning ball came up and the download stopped till it unlocked itself. It is really frustrating because the download was not completed and whatever came through would not mount. Could this issue be the internet connection? Permission fix showed a lot of Airport issues. I will try to run permissions fix again.

Your warranty is actually one year - the 90-days is only for free telephone support - but the warranty would not cover damage due to the iPad being dropped. I doubt there's anything you can do to fix the rocker, so you'll probably need to pay to get the iPad exchanged (by Apple) or repaired (by a third party repair service).

Sometimes, after its been going quite a long time. a Firefox window top bar goes weird, and the window controls at extreme top right disappear, making it impossible to resize or close the window. The only solution I have found is to individually move the tabs to a new window. The original (bad) one then disappears as soon as the final tab is shifted.

Using the content controls and the legacy controls

I am redoing an already existing word 2013 doc into a template that will now be used on the computer rather than print out and write the info or check a checkbox. I am having difficulty with the content control checkbox and having it act nicely with
the plain text contect control. I can check the checkbox but then all the content control textboxes appear to be locked. Can't go and type anything into it. If during the tabbing process stops on a content control textbox, typing is allowed.
Go to the checkbox and check an item or more then returning to the textbox to type in added info is not allowed. Or in any of the contect textboxes. Is there a setting that I'm missing for the content checkbox and/or the textbox?

Project Spartan and localhost

I can't surf to localhost (or 127.0.0.1) in Project Spartan while in IE I can.
Is there a reason for that?
Will it be fixed in future versions?

Much searching on web and I came up with for me at least is a fix for localhost error. The following needs to be run with an admin command prompt and once ok'd it seems to be a fix for my localhost problem.
CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a -n=Microsoft.Windows.Spartan_cw5n1h2txyewy
I ran this once and now am able to open media browser at least with no problem with Spartan as default browser.

Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty. Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.

My screen gets dim and the brightness control buttons don't work

My screen is frequently dim. The brightness control buttons display that they are working, but the brightness doesn't actually change. Any ideas why and what I can do?

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I had tried that but still had to go into preferences any time I wanted it brighter. After I posted, I found a thread using some different keywords and found that people were having the same problem with OS versions up to 10.7.2 but solved it with the latest update (10.7.3). I just installed it and now seem to be able to adjust the brightness with my keyboard no problem. I appreciate your reply anyway!

My iphone 4S doesn't show the volume controls when playing videos and the speakers don't sound. But if I plug in the earphones then I can hear fine and the volume controls appear on screen. Please someone help.

After a week or so of installing IOS 7 now I having this problem, the speakers don't work for videos, music or apps sounds, but they work fine for using the speaker phone. It's definitely some software issue as the volume control appears when i plug in the earphones, but disappears when unplugging them, same happens with the volume buttons on the side, they don't work when trying to use the speakers, but the work when using the earphones. Please help if you have a workaround for this. I don't want to carry my earphones all the time to listen to videos and music.

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.

One day I relalized that the silent/ringer switch on my iPhone 4 stopped working. My phone is permently silent and I can't turn the ringer on. The speakers still work so they aren't the problem. you can try the restore first to make sure it is nothing software related. makesure to back up information and restore as new. after that it is hardware if your with in the limited hardware warranty and can be replaced for free if you are not then it can be replaced for 149$ if it is a iphone 4 or lower

TS3680 My iMac is locked on a gray screen, no apple logo or anything else shown, and the Command+Control+Esc option does nothing....help!

After a recent login, my iMac 27" has locked up with a gray screen. Cursor is visible, and moves, but I cannot get anything to actually open and the login screen does not appear. I tried the command+control+esc option, in an attempt to force quit / restart, but nothing happens.

Im on 8.0.0 and on every new project logic 8 starts in 44,1 16 bit??
My entire system is 24bit/48khz..
The only way to change setting is in prefs.. song prefs (go to midi ??? settings) go to song setting audio and there change samplerate..

I ( used to ) use my enviro to midi and CC# control 5-8 external boxes, so i need to make my own set up/template..
Still must check If I can make a new template where default is 48/24..
