Proper API call to disable socket with parallel model?

Hi all,
I am using the parallel model to asynchronously test 16 UUT's. At the end of each test, I have a temperature stabilization period. If this fails, I would like to "disable" the particular test socket that failed.
I am using TS 2014 with LabVIEW. What is the proper API call for disabling a socket? I have tried "ModelData.TestSocket[0] = True" in the PreUUT callback as a simple test to disable socket 0, but I cannot get it to work, I get an error stating "Unable to access 'Model Data' "
Thank you!
Andrew

Hi !
If I'm not wrong, the number of sockets to launch is decided when evaluating the ModelOptions of your client file.
To modify the nb of testsockets to LAUNCH I usually add a ModelOption callback in my client sequence. In this sequence you'll be able to modify the value stored in 'Parameters.ModelOptions.NumTestSockets'.
However, once it is launched, you might want to 'wait' indefinely in your failed testsocket... You should wait for a particular execution to wait for example or for a psecific variable value... I don't see any other way to 'disable' a particular test socket...

  • Loop counter reset in parallel model ?

    Hello,
    i am using TestStand 3.1 with parallel model. There is a loop counter for each UUT in RunState.Root.Parameters.TestSocket.UUT.UUTLoopIndex. This increases with every loop that is done.
    Now my problem is: If i start the NextUUT, this counter is not set to 0. It just increases.
    Is there a different counter that i can use ? Or where can i get the information that the NextUUT button is pressed so that i can reset the counter manually ? Or is there another solution.
    Thanks for Help.

    Hi,
    I don't completely understand, why you want to reset the UUTLoopIndex, because it shows the number of iterations per test socket to check how many uut's have been tested on each. However, you could reset the value with a simple statement before you start the tests. You could do this in the setup step group, e.g. with RunState.Root.Parameters.TestSocket.UUT.UUTLoopIndex = 0. You could add a message popup or evaluate an extra condition or so.
    Kind regards,

  • Coldfusion 11 java/jre ssl mutual auth api calls.  Help with coldfusion/java logs.

    Hello,
    I am here because I have exhausted my Coldfusion/Java ssl keystore certs trouble shooting abilities.  Here is the issue. I am developing a Coldfusion 11 application that must make api calls to Chase payconnexion SOAP services. I am using the coldfusion cfhttp tags to do this, which is using the java jre 1.7.x to accomplish this. The problem, I am getting generic 500 internal server errors from Chase.   They claim that I am not sending a cert during the ssl exchange.    What I have done is:
    - put our wildcard cert/key pair in the coldfusion keystore
    - put our root and chain in the keystore
    - put the chase server cert in the keystore
    - converted the key/crt files to .pfx and make the calls
      to chase with those, something like:
      <cfset objSecurity = createObject("java", "java.security.Security") />
      <cfset storeProvider = objSecurity.getProvider("JsafeJCE")/>
      <cfset Application.sslfix = true />
      <cfhttp url="#chase_api_server#/"
              result="http_response"
            method="post"
            port="1401" charset="utf-8"
            clientCert = "#cert_path#/#cert_file1#"
            clientCertPassword = "#cert_password#">
            <cfhttpparam type="header" name="SOAPAction" value="updateUserProfileRequest"/>
        <cfhttpparam type="header" name="Host" value="ws.payconnexion.com" />
        <cfhttpparam type="xml" value="#trim(my_xml)#"/>
        </cfhttp>
    Here is what I see in the Cf logs, can anyone help me interpret what
    is happening ??
    Thanks,
    Bob

    Ok, apparently Chase person who said we were not sending the certs and achieving mutual auth
    was incorrect.   The https calls were connecting, and mutual auth was taking place.   The 500
    error was about a soap envelope being delivered, and NOT SSL as I directed to.   Everything
    is working fine now.

  • Problems with BPEL API calling a BPEL workflow

    Hallo,
    i have copied my text from the Application-Server forum to this forum becouse here it is a better place for my problem.
    I have a problem with the BPEL API. I try to invoke a BPEL workflow with the BPEL API. Up to the Point where i call the BPEL workflow with the command "deliveryService.post(processName, action, nm);".
    When this command is processed i following error:
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/ejb/EJBException
    It looks like i am missing a jar file, but in my Development tool an at the compilation i get no errors or warnings. Only when command above is called.
    The initialization of the deliveryService works fine.
    The only point i can image an error is at the definition of the jndi for the remote connection to BPEL. There i have following entry's:
    jndiProviderUrl = "http:ormi://server:port:instance/orabpel";
    jndiFactory = "oracle.j2ee.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory";
    jndiUsername = "xxx";
    jndiPassword = "yyy";
    I get folowing errror message:

    Please can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?
    BS
    PS: i used following tutorial to create my code for calling BPEL:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/pdf/orabpel-Tutorial7-InvokingBPELProcesses.pdf

    got some steps more ... but now i havent any clue. Out of this message i think my ProviderURL is wrong. but i try this both and got always the same error message.

  • Binding parameters to dynamic VO with PL/SQL API call with no where clause

    Hi all,
    I am required to change exisiting queries to queries with "bind" parameters. Some of our VOs are dynamic and with PL/SQL api calls like below:
    String stmtStr = "selectXXX_API_UTILS.chk_urg_since_last_prg("
    + projectId + "," + PPCId + ",'XYZ_TASKS'," + taskId+ ")"
    +" from dual ";
    ViewObject tmpVO = transaction.createViewObjectFromQueryStmt(stmtStr);
    In this regard, I am unsure how to bind the PPCId and taskId parameters to the VO. setWhereClauseParams() would not work here as there is now where clause.
    Thanks in advance,
    Srini

    In case of preparedStatement, we mention bind parameters to be passed using "?". Then we pass paramters sequencially.
    But in the your case following is enough:
    int projectId = 100 ; (hardcoding values for example)
    int taskId = 500 ;
    String stmtStr = "selectXXX_API_UTILS.chk_urg_since_last_prg("
    + projectId + "," + PPCId + ",'XYZ_TASKS'," + taskId+ ")"
    +" from dual ";

  • Problem with ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input api call

    Hi All,
    There seems to be an issue with siebel's ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input api call on release 14 of CRM OnDemand.
    The api call is failing if I am trying to update and insert the product records in a same call based on the IntegrationId.
    The Siebel CRM on demand URL we used is:
    https://secure-ausomxapa.crmondemand.com/Services/I ntegration
    The sample soap request used is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/enve lope/" xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format" xmlns:prod="urn:/crmondemand/xml/product" xmlns:ns="urn:crmondemand/ws/product/10/2004">
    <soapenv:Body>
    <ns:ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input>

    <prod:Product>
    <prod:IntegrationId>AAPA-KYTAR</prod:IntegrationId >
    <prod:Description>desc nk_test3</prod:Description>
    <prod:Orderable>Y</prod:Orderable>
    </prod:Product>
    <prod:Product>
    <prod:ExternalSystemId>nk_test4</prod:ExternalSyst emId>
    <prod:PartNumber>nk_test4</prod:PartNumber>
    <prod:Name>nk_test4</prod:Name>
    <prod:Description>desc nk_test4</prod:Description>
    <prod:Orderable>Y</prod:Orderable>
    </prod:Product>
    </prod:ListOfProduct>
    </ns:ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    The response error is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/env elope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instanc e" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <SOAP-ENV:Fault>
    <faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Server</faultcode>
    <faultstring>Multiple matches found for instance of integration component 'Internal Product' using search specification '' in the business component 'Internal Product', based on user key 'Product User Key: 2'.(SBL-EAI-04390)</faultstring>

    </siebelf:errorstack>
    </detail>
    </SOAP-ENV:Fault>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Also the same soap request was passing when we are using old siebel crm on demand release 12 urls:
    https://secure.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration or
    https://siebel.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration
    Also note that same API call works on release 14 if I perform all updates at one go and all inserts at one go.
    So my doubt is:
    1) Is there any change in handling of ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input api call for release 14 (or)
    2) do we need to do some setup/configuration at siebel end?
    Please help us in resolving this issue.
    Thanks,
    Nitesh K

    Alex,
    Thanks for the reply. I can understand the same with the response error that there are multiple records with the same user key exists. But why the same error is not getting thrown if I submit the same SOAP request for those two products individually? I am able to submit multiple products which are new in one SOAP request and multiple products which needs to be updated(i.e i already have there ProductId and IntegrationId) in another SOAP request using the same InsertOrUpdate api call. But when I submit one product which is new(i.e. to insert) and one which already exists(i.e to update) in a single SOAP request, then its giving me that error.
    One more strange thing is(as mentioned earlier) this same single SOAP request works in R12 of CRM OnDemand.
    Anyways please find below how I tested my investigation:
    I created two products in our BigMachines application "nk_11111_part" and "nk_22222_part" to integrate with siebel. Now I first generated SOAP request for nk_22222_part as below:
    <soapenv:Envelope>
    <soapenv:Body>
    <ns:ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input>
         <prod:ListOfProduct>
              <prod:Product>
              <prod:ExternalSystemId>nk_22222_part</prod:ExternalSystemId>
              <prod:Name>nk_22222_part</prod:Name>
              <prod:PartNumber>nk_22222_part</prod:PartNumber>
              <prod:Orderable>Y</prod:Orderable>
              <prod:Description>desc nnk_22222_part</prod:Description>
              <prod:DealerInvoicePrice>454</prod:DealerInvoicePrice>
              </prod:Product>
         </prod:ListOfProduct>
    </ns:ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    Then I submitted the request and got ProductId and IntegratinId as "AAPA-LF3CR" in SOAP response. This we will store in our DB and use it for updating the same product for subsequent calls.
    Then I generated SOAP request for both the products nk_11111_part(not integrated) and nk_22222_part(integrated product) as below:
    <soapenv:Envelope>
    <soapenv:Body>
    <ns:ProductWS_ProductInsertOrUpdate_Input>
         <prod:ListOfProduct>
              <prod:Product>
              <prod:ExternalSystemId>nk_11111_part</prod:ExternalSystemId>
              <prod:Name>nk_11111_part</prod:Name>
              <prod:PartNumber>nk_11111_part</prod:PartNumber>
              <prod:Orderable>Y</prod:Orderable>
              <prod:Description>desc nk_11111_part</prod:Description>

    Now when I submit this request I am getting the above mentioned error. Note that both the products are newly created products in our application. So only user key ExternalSystemId with "nk_22222_part" for our integrated product exists
    in siebel. So logically the InsertOrUpdate api call should insert the first product "nk_11111_part" and update the
    second product "nk_22222_part". As mentioned earlier, the same flow works in R12 of Siebel CRM OnDemand.
    We are struck with this issue. Please help us and reply asap.

  • Sharepoint 2013 REST API calls with JASONP support

    We are working on sharepoint online integration with PHP Based application. We need to provide REST API call which supports JSONP.
    So is it possible to create new REST API Endpoints in Sharepoint online APP? Please sugggest right direction.

    Hi,
    In Office 365 (aka SharePoint Online), you can simply consume the SharePoint data through REST API or WS call,but cannot create your own endpoint.
    By default you can get the JSON response from the Office 365 REST API,its upto you to use the JSONP on your client compatibility not on SharePoint online REST API.
    Sometime before I tried, It didn't work for me.
    If you develop the AppModel, SPRequestor.js does the same job(overcome the Cross domain restriction) the what JSONP does.

  • Disableing Users - API Call

    Is there a VB API call that can check when a username was last enabled/disabled and also a API call to enable/disable username.I am trying to to this in VB and VBA.

    Doesn't look like you can even do it in the C API if you look at the docs for ESS_USERINFO_T.

  • How do you deal with API calls that do not exist in some versions of OS X

    For example, I have been writing this app to manage the ipfw (Darwin's side of it). I have been confused about a lot of things because the command could do more then the API calls.
    As it turns out, there is another firewall API ip_fw2 which does all this stuff I have been trying to figure out.
    The problem is that OS X 10.3 does not have ip_fw2. I could check the versions of the OS and do some if (OSX > 10.3) then do ip_fw2 else ip_fw.
    The question is, the code for ip_fw2 is in my binary and even if I never call it, will the loader have a problem on 10.3? I know in some cases on windows having an API call in your code that is not even run, will prevent the exe from even loading. There is this lazy linking thing I think you can do to work around that. Can you do that on OS X and what compiler options do I need?

    TheSilverHammer wrote:
    Thats some nice info, but what if it is not a "framework"? These are basic Darwin API calls, not Apple Frameworks.
    Last sentence on the page:
    "If you need to link to a library instead of a framework, you can use the -weak_library linker command instead of -weak_framework."
    TheSilverHammer wrote:
    I did not define printf so I can't weak link it.
    This doesn't make any sense. You didn't define any of the symbols in any of the frameworks or libraries Apple provides--that does not inhibit your ability to link against them, weakly or otherwise.

  • API calling  with Time-outs

    I am trying to implement a feature on a Stateless EJB so that when I try to access a resource and that resource doesn't respond at a given time, I want to interrupt the operation and get back to another processing (timeout).
    Today I have this approach in J2SE using Threads but I know you cannot start Threads from within an EJB. Do you have any ideas on how to implement a timeout in this scenario? Could be something like:
    J2EE Stateles EJB -- method call --> "Untrusted" Java API Call
    What I'd like to do is to timeout this method call.
    Any ideas?

    It is the way you configure your pay elements.
    the standard process doesn't pay for the balance
    You need to handle using your formula

  • Batch Test With Parallel TestSequences

    Need a little assistance programming a TestStand batch sequence also containing test sequences which must run in parallel with synchronization.
    I have a panel containing multiple UUT. Each UUT consist of 2 parts. The test may be divided into 4 groups:
    1: Common start up test and programming
    2a: Specific test and calibration on part 1
    2b: Specific test and calibration on part 2
    3: Common test and calibration of complete UUT
    My application runs with the batch model (which I normally use and is familiar with), but must in this case also use parallel testing for each UUT. I need to be able to synchronize the parallel test sequences like they where running in normal batchmodel. I also need at some point to synchronize the to parallel sequences for all UUTs.
    I’ve succeeded doing that with the enclosed sequence, but I am not sure it’s the right solution. Would like some comments.

    A couple things regarding your issue:
    You should be fine with just the Parallel or Batch model.  Personally, if you don't need to switch out UUTs dynamically then I would go with the Batch model.  Why?  Because then you can use synchronized sections.  Synchronized sections give you the ability to run a particular section of your sequence file (i.e. several or a single step) in Parallel, Sequentially or One Socket Only.  With the parallel model you can kind of get there by using Locks and Queues.  Look in the TestStand Reference Manual under Appendices A and B for more info on the Batch model and synchronized sections.  To access the TestStand Reference Manual go to Start>>All Programs>>National Instruments>><TestStand>>>Documentation>>Manuals.
    Regarding your VIs and how they would handle each socket.  I don't think it's a good idea to make a different VI for each socket.  Just have some sort of case inside the VI that if 3 comes in the set the right wires to populate your switching or COM functions.  For instance: Lets say that Socket 1 is executing and comes to the step to call the com_port.vi.  One of the parameters for that VI could be the socket number.  Inside the VI you set the desired com port to read or write based on that parameter.  You can set the parameter in TestStand by using RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex (that will return the socket you are on).
    In fact you wouldn't even need the logic in your com_port.vi.  I would assume that one of the parameters to that VI would be a VISA session to your COM ports.  In TestStand you use the LabVIEWIOControl datatype which has property of DeviceName.  If you set that parameter to be '"COM" + Str(RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex)' then you will achieve the same thing as passing COM3 if you were in TestSocket 3.
    Anyhow, this is just a few ideas for you.  Obviously you have to implement what makes sense.
    Hope this helps,

  • Help with the Parallel Model configuration

    This is my first time posting, but I am a long time reader....
    First off, I would consider my Teststand knowledge level as high novice to low intermidiate. I created  a test sequence using in Teststand which calls labview vi's. My test sequence tests 5 units at a time in a parallel model (parallel model sequence). Functionally, everything runs great in single pass and looping. However, here is my issue:
    When selecting "Test UUT's", it brings up a window that asks for the serial number for each of the five stations. The operator then needs to enter a serial number for each and press okay to proceed. This setup is not valid for what I am doing. My test fixture has a button at each of the 5 stations. The user is to push the button to start the test (connects to a DAQ). Then, the serial number is read from the UUT and populated in the report.
    How would I go about reconfiguring this? I am not looking for someone to solve my problems for me, I just need a little direction. I looked at the parallel model sequence and I can't figure out where to go with it.
    Please help,
    Ryan

    Solved!

    No problem Ryan,
    When you are done here you will be a pro.
    Here is a link that talks about callbacks and how overriding them works: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6605
    The PreUUT will be a Model Callback.
    One thing I should point out- There is a huge difference between the Batch Model and the Parallel Model.  People tend to get them confused and sometimes use the wrong when the other one is a better fit for their architecture.  They way I think about it is like a race track.  Each car on the track represents a different test socket.  One time around the track represents a full test.  Pretend the race is completed by teams of cars.  Each team can only race one car for one lap (sorta like a relay).  The team would represent the available test fixture for the next UUT and the car would be the UUT. Here's how the race would work with each model:
    Batch Model-  Let's say there are 2 available spots in the race so we have 2 teams of 5 cars each.  Both of the teams 1st cars would line up at the starting line.  The gun would go off and each car would take off.  Let's say team 1's car gets around the lap first.  Before they can start their 2nd car they have to wait for team 2's 1st car to get around the track as well.  Then both team's 2nd cars would line up and continue the same as the first go around and so on until all 5 cars had raced.
    Parallel Model-  In the same car scenario as the Batch Model both of the team's 1st cars would line up and the gun would go off and they would go.  However, this time if team 1's car gets around the track they can immediately send their second car without waiting for Team 2's 1st car.  In fact all 5 of team 1's cars could be finished before team 2's 1st car even finishes it's lap.
    Not sure if you are a fan of analogies but they work for me. In short-
    Batch Model- Everything in that set of test sockets must start and stop at the same time.
    Parallel Model- Each test socket is independant of any other test sockets.
    I'm picturing your scenario where you have 5 different stations that will be running independantly of each other and trying to figure out if you would want the Batch behavior or the Parallel behavior.  Or..... Why wouldn't you just use the sequential model on each station and deploy your sequence to each station?  Maybe you can describe your setup in a little more detail and we could come up with a better solution.
    How does the one station know that the others have the Go button pushed?

  • Oil 5.2:No SCORM API calls in java trace file

    Hi,
    I am running a java trace for SCORM 2004 course. I don't see any SCORM api calls or cmi variables in the java trace (initialize(""), setvalue, getValue etc..). The course is set to tracked and the DEBUG is ON. Is the SCO communicating with the LMS?
    I have tested other SCORM 2004 courses, and they do show api calls in the java trace file.

    Scott,
    I have used Forefox v20, java6 and the firebug for debug purpose. I didn't see any errors in the console. But, I did find some lines in red (errors) under DOM tab. Here is the output.
    g_strAPIInitFailed     "Found API but LMSInitialize failed."
    g_strAPINotFound     "Management system interface not found."
    g_strAPISetError     "Trying to set value but API not available."

    g_strDisableErrorMsgs     "Select cancel to disable future warnings."
    g_strFSAPIError          "LMS API adapter returned error code: "%1"

  • How to call a dialog program with return value in another dialog program

    Dear All,
    How can I call a dialog program with return value from another dialog program?
    Regards,
    Alok.

    Hi Alok,
    You can you SET/GET parameters to do this.
    This is some information about this.
    To fill the input fields of a called transaction with data from the calling program, you can use the SPA/GPA technique. SPA/GPA parameters are values that the system stores in the global, user-specific SAP memory. SAP memory allows you to pass values between programs. A user can access the values stored in the SAP memory during one terminal session for all parallel sessions. Each SPA/GPA parameter is identified by a 20-character code. You can maintain them in the Repository Browser in the ABAP Workbench. The values in SPA/GPA parameters are user-specific.
    ABAP programs can access the parameters using the SET PARAMETER and GET PARAMETERstatements.
    To fill one, use:
    SET PARAMETER ID pid FIELD f.
    This statement saves the contents of field f under the ID pid in the SAP memory. The ID pid can be up to 20 characters long. If there was already a value stored under pid, this statement overwrites it. If you double-click pid in the ABAP Editor, parameters that do not exist can be created as a Repository object.
    To read an SPA/GPA parameter, use:
    GET PARAMETER ID pid FIELD f.
    This statement places the value stored under the pid ID into the variable f. If the system does not find any value for pid in the SAP memory, sy-subrc is set to 4. Otherwise, it sets the value to 0.

  • Crystal Report Print Engine API calls  from Powerbuilder

    I am using Crystal Report XI R2 with Powerbuilder 9.0. I  am using Crystal Report API calls using crpe32.dll to display my reports. When i run my reports from my development machine where Crystal Reports is installed the reports run properly, but when i deploy my application on a server where Crystal Reports is not installed the report gives me error "Report has not been opened" , Error 599.
    The database logon info is properly set in the RPT file.
    I want to know whether it is possible to run reports without installing Crystal Reports and how do you do it?

    Somehow, you will have to install the CR runtime...
    Probably the best way will be to create a deployment project using a utility such as InstallShield,  Wise, MS Visual Installer, etc. Use the RDC merge modules and  add the crpe32.dll to the deployment project, ensuring the crpe32.dll is installed into the ...\3.5\bin directory. The Correct msm files are here:
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009381702008E/crxir2sp4_rdc_mm.zip
    BTW., using the print engine APIs... Not something recommended, nor supported. Last header files for the crpe APIs shipped in version 9...
