*.propeties

Hi!
I'm sitting and testing a couple of things in Java. I've got *.properties files. In the *.java files there are calls to the keys in the properties files.
For example:
resources.getString("hello")
In the *.properties-file it looks like this:
hello = Hello world.
Now, my problem is to add a string in the properties file so I can use it with a key in the program. How do I do that. I've tried some things without success. I use JBuilder and I tried to choose Wizard->resource strings to add a key in the properties file but it doesn't work. If I write the key manually in the properties file it doesn't work either. I get an error message that the key couldn't be found. How can I do it right?

Juilder uses its own set of Libraries. I can only tell you how it works on standard java.
First I'm not sure you can put spaces in a properties file string like in "hello" "world" thing .And in standard java you don't write:resources.getString("hello") to get a properties file, instead you code:Properties prop;
File f= new File("a file name");
prop.load(f);you can manually edit a properties file. but it is better to do it with java code:
private Properties prop;
public void save()
   prop.put("foo");
   try
       File f= new File(...);
       FIleOutputStream fos= new FileOutputStream(f);
       props.store(f)
    catch (Exception e)
}
