Protocol Type 802.11(Mobile) AP Name [Controller MGMT IP]
Our WLAN infrastructure consist of 4 WiSM2s serving 2 campus seperated by a few miles. We have AP high availability set up with primary, secondary, and tertiary controllers. All 4 WiSMs are in the same mobility group. A pair of WiSMs service buildings on either campus with primary controller determined by the buildings purpose (Residential or Academic), like so:
WiSM 1: East Campus, Academic
WiSM 2: East Campus, Residential
WiSM 3: West Campus, Academic
WiSM 4: West Campus, Residential
All are on 7.3.101.0. The problem is that we are seeing a ton of entries for clients on one campus with a protocol type of 802.11(Mobile) and AP Name of the management address of a controller serving access points on the other campus. I understand that this indicates a layer 3 roam (correct me if I'm wrong), but I find it unlikely that clients are moving between campus that quickly, especially in the numbers that we are seeing. Why am I seeing all of these client entries on a controller so far away?
I was able to fix the problem. Looks like there were L3 roams happening because the 'User Idle Timeout' was set so high. This is what created all of the entries on the client list. Even when the client was no longer associated, the controller kept the entry because there was no Session Timeout on the WLAN (set to 0). When I set a Session Timeout and applied it, the client list dropped by about 400 users and there are no 802.ii(Mobile) users left.

In J2ME there is no method to get the model number from the device. how ever you can use the APIs provided by the device manufacturer if available. But still the APIs will not work with devices from other manufacturer or sometimes it will not work with the devices of the same manufacturer if the API is not supported. so it is better to send the device model name through the header. -
I have one apple ID for purchases and then my mobile me ID where I use for email. So I have set my cloud with my mobile me name, while keeping my purchases the original name. Will my purchases be recognized as purchases when backup is finished.

So long as you are logged into the iTunes Store, using the correct ID and password (settings >store), then you will always have access to your apps, books, music, TV shows etc etc bought via the iTunes Store on that account. -

This what I am doing ..
I am using a DATAEXPORT function to export level0 data from my essbase 11.1.2.2 to Microsoft SQL 2008 tables.
So what I did first I exported the level0 data to a flat file using DATAEXPORT and the created the SQL columns by the same in that order only in my SQL table.
When I run it fails with this error:

Now In sql I created only 3 columns with name Jan/Sales/Actual and when I run this script again with comments removed .. I get the same error as what I have got in my first test case with other application ..
but when I create the columns with same name as what its in export

It created the new rows successfully ..
So with this I think the error which I am getting with my other application might be because of the same column issue .. but then I have created all the columns by looking at the export file only as I did in sample ..
Any idea would be helpful ..

IFirst make sure you add
DataExportRelationalFile ON;
to your set commands it is missing
I alwats like to also add
DataExportColHeader dimensionName;
so I am sure what dimension is getting put into the columns.
Then count the number of dimensions in your outline (exclude attribute dimensions). You need at least that many columns in your table -1 + the number of members you will be returning as columns in the export
Taking your example Sample basic has 5 dimensions

Since you did not specify a dataexportcolheader it took the dense dimension Scenario as the columns. Your fix statement is limiting that to one member. Doing the math
5 -1 + 1 = 5 columns in your table which is what you found works. Suppose you fixed on bothe Actual and budget in scenario then you would need 6 columns 5 -1 +2 -
How do I send pictures from iphoto to a group via email instead of to just one individual? I can't type in more than one name or send the pictures to a group.
I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

It looks like that you had not installed the ADS(Adobe Document server) for the PDF type reports. Please check with your basis team if you want to configure ADS.
If you need the output as a sapscript then please do the sollowing steps:
(1) Execute transaction SM30
(2) Enter 'Table/View' as V_T5F99OCFT
(3) Select 'Maintain' option.
(4) Select 'New Entries' option from the Application Too
(5) Enter following entries:
Logical Form Name = HR_IN_EPF12A_99M
Form Variant = (Leave this field blank)
End Date = 31.12.9999
Start Date = 01.01.1990
Form Type = SAP Script (SSC)

the URL.He's asking how to teach the URL class to communicate with the server using "udp://" in stead of "http://" or "ftp://", etc.
I don't have a good answer, I'm afraid. My first thought is to extend URL and intercept URLs using the "udp" protocol and write it all yourself as part of that extended class. For good or bad, however, the URL Class's getContent methods are final, so you can't override them to add your own behavior.
If you're going to the trouble of teaching something to make server requests by a protocol the URL class is clueless about, you might as well just start from scratch in a new class.
But if someone knows something I don't, I'm listening. :) -

On behalf of a friend (who obviously cannot get on-line):
I can open Safari OK, but as soon as I try to open Google, Safari shuts down. It either does so immediately, or once I type an address or search name into Google. The systems no longer seem to be compatible. All was well until about three weeks ago. I've pressed the Safari Reset button several times to try that, to no avail.
The operating system is Mac OSX version 10.3.9, and Safari is 1.3.2.
Is there a solution? He does say his iMac is old and the OS antedeluvian
Would welcome any thoughts!

Stupid Thunderbird. Details. I start to type in a person's name I want to send an email to. Thunderbird pick an email address. In some cases that email address is no longer valid but it still pops up as the first choice (and I end up sending off a message that bounces). I've deleted those invalid addresses from my address book, but Thunderbird still puts them in. Tell me how to delete them.
Find them in your address books and delete them. Thunderbird get the suggestions from one of your address books. You have at least two books by default. The personal and the Collected books.

Expenditure Type LOV-- Adding where clause with controller extension- help

I'm new to OA Framework and Java and I need to extend the controller for the expenditure type lov in iProcurement. I need to add a where clause to the VO to show only those expenditure
types that will pass transactions controls based on the project and task.

I created a custom database function xxpa_check_txnctl which takes project_id, task_id and expenditure type as parameters and returns "Y" if that expenditure type is valid or
returns "N" if it is not valid.
What I need to add to the where clause of the above query is

project/task combination.

below. Please tell me how I can add the where condition to the custom controller .

To achieve this, we must read the Process request of CO properly and understand the places, where you have to make changes. In my case, I identify such places and also I couldn't extend the controller class. SO I took the code from standard CO, changed it at couple of places and created a class file with same code as standard CO but with changed at some places. After that I gave newly created CO name in personalization property, so that the page will follow newly created custom CO.
So I would suggest to read the CO properly, to understand which line is doing what...... -
Always prompted for "802.1X Authentication" user name and password

Just had the logic board replaced in my Macbook Pro, but that's an different story...
The most recent side effect of this is that I am always prompted for my password/user name when I connect to the wireless network at work.
Obviously, I enter the name and password. However, I didn't used to have to do this. In other words, it's not being saved.
Any suggestions on what I can do so it's saved again?
The Network preference panel reports:
Authenticated via PEAP (Inner Protocol:GTC)
The 802.1X pane shows I have 1 'User Profiles':

it might have something to do with your logic board exchange. Your MAC address (Media Access Control, Ethernet-ID, AirPort-ID, Hardware Address or what you want to call it) has changed. Every network interface has a distinct address which looks like that: 01:23:45:ab:cd:ef
I would ask your company's admin first if it has something to with you having a new MAC address.
Alternatively you could try to remove the wlan from Sys Prefs/Network/AirPort/Options/Preferred Networks. Also remove any saved passwords of this network from your keychain and then try adding it again with the remember-checkbox on.

XID protocol error , sense 08910005 invalid CP name
I am trying to set up APPC LU62 connection between 2 Micro Focus enterprise server PCs. I have HIS 2010 server and client installed on each of the 2 PCs. An IP-DLC link was created and a peer to peer connection was defined using the SNA manager. However
I am getting a failure on the connection. The event viewer shows XID protocol error 08910005 invalid CP name. The CP name was showing all zeros in the event viewer.
Both servers have the same NETID 'MFNET' and CP name of 'MFCP'
I also tried with one server with CP name MFCP and one with MFCP1. But the same error.
This is the first time I am using HIS. Most of the examples are showing connection to Host. But I am doing a peer to peer connection. I may have missed something in my configuration. Can anyone help ?The IP-DLC link service was implemented to integrate with IBM Enterprise Extender on IBM mainframes and iSeries (AS/400s) systems. While HIS Servers using IP-DLC can communicate with each other via IP-DLC, they need to do so through a Network Node Server
(NNS). For example, our internal mainframe is a NNS, so I can have two HIS Servers using IP-DLC configured to connect to the NNS and I can enable APPC communication between the two HIS Servers. I cannot do this directly without an NNS.
Using DLC to connect HIS Servers has and can be done, but not with current versions. The DLC protocol and the 802.2 DLC link service have been removed from HIS starting with HIS 2010. HIS 2009 is the last version that supports DLC and this is only on 32-bit
systems because a 64-bit version of DLC never existed. The last 32-bit Windows Server version is Windows Server 2008 (not R2). Since you have HIS 2010, you don't have an option to try DLC. If you were to try HIS 2009, you would need to make sure the MFES servers
are running on 32-bit operating systems.
Have you checked with MicroFocus to see if they have any options to meet your needs?
I have worked with customers using MicroFocus with HIS, but they were communicating with IBM mainframes or AS/400s.

I have the Verizon text app and have a group contact of about 30 people to whom I wish to send a group text. I tried pulling up the "contact group" that the 30 are associated with, but it does not come up. Is there any way around having to type in each name individually?
