Providers section was missing in iis 7.5 web site

hi all,
am trying to set up claims - fba in sp 2013. so for thepurpose of adding .net users
[[Membership provider and Role provider ]]
and  .net roles section using IIS 7.5,
i went to the site in iis and tried to add the same:
but i  saw that Providers was missing from iss 7.5 . in prev version of iis , it was existing after pages and controls section.
but in iis 7.5 its NOT available  [[ my  framework is .net 4.0 ]].
Can anyone point me , how to get that Providers section within ASP.NET
section ?
already added the windows  authentication  security roles  from  server manager.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that providers section was missing in iis 7.5 web site.
The <providers> collection of the <windowsAuthentication> element defines the list of authentication providers that are used with the Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 Windows authentication module.
The <providers> element was not modified in IIS 7.5.
To use Windows authentication on IIS, you must install the role service, disable Anonymous authentication for your Web site or application, and then enable Windows authentication for the site or application.
For more information, please refer to
Windows Authentication Providers <providers>.
Regarding IIS, I suggest you also open a thread at IIS forums
http://forums.iis.net/
I believe at that forum, more people in expertise in IIS may help you regarding this.
Best Regards,
Linda Li

  • Coldfusion Internal Web Site Overriding IIS Web Site

We have CF 10 Enterprise installed on Window Server 2008 R2, using IIS with multiple web sites defined. These are set up in IIS in the standard way of mapping a domain name to an IP address. The sites are pointed to various directories on the D drive and CF is installed on the C drive. What is happening is that occasionally a call to a CFM script will error out, and in the CF log it shows that the file wasn't found because CF was looking for it in C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\wwwroot instead of in the correct directory on the D drive. I did some testing by adding an index.cfm to C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\wwwroot and I found that file overrides the index.cfm in the root of the site in IIS. How can I get this resolved so that the CF web site is not interfering with my IIS web sites?

We don't have anything in the internal webroot except what CF put there. I added the index.cfm to test and then removed it. But we still get situations where scripts on our site aren't found and the CF error log shows that it was looking in C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\wwwroot instead of the root of the web site as set in IIS, like the message below.
"Error","ajp-bio-8012-exec-4","02/11/14","17:27:16",,"File not found: /ajax/getdata.cfm The specific sequence of files included or processed is: C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\wwwroot\ajax\getdata.cfm'' "

  • "The EXCH provider section is missing from the Autodiscover response." On single mailbox

We have a single mailbox with this issue, the RCA tool returns the message:
The EXCH provider section is missing from the Autodiscover response.
No other mailboxes have issues with Outlook anywhere but this one user is unable to use their mailbox from Outlook. I tried creating a fresh mailbox for this user and completely deleted the old one but this didn't seem to work. anyone have any ideas on how
    I can resolve this?
This is Exchange 2010, SP1 with all update rollups applied.

This workstation's network connectivity is okay. And a test with any other user account information from the same station is successful. I've tried this from both a domain and non-domain station with the same results. But this test was from a domain machine.
Also note that our internal and external URIs are identical as the CAS server is the same for both.

    Benjamin,
WebUtil tries to download the jacob.dll to the client. The error message you get is most likely caused by teh following section in teh webutil.cfg file
    install.syslib.location=/webutil
    ## Do not change the following lines unless instructed to do so
    install.syslib.0.7.1=jacob.dll|94208|1.0|true
    install.syslib.0.9.1=JNIsharedstubs.dll|65582|1.0|true
    install.syslib.0.9.2=d2kwut60.dll|192512|1.0|true
    ## But you can add your own libraries in here
    #install.syslib.0.user.1=testwebutil.dll|204872|1.0|true
If you have all these files available on the PC, then most likely the problem can be found in the virtual path setting for this directory
    <virtual-directory virtual-path="/webutil"
    real-path="c:/webutil/lib" />
    in /j2ee/Oracle9iDS/application-deployments/forms/forms90web/orion-web.xml
Pleae refer to the webutil documentation for teh exact configuration steps.
    Hope this helps
    Frank

  • Installing 5.0.1 updating 5.0, I received a dialog box that said my Profile was missing. Wht do I do now?

I have an iMac, operating OS 10.6.8. I have using Firefox for years, most recently updated to 5.o. Tonight as I worked, a dialog box appeared saying I could upgrade to Firefox 5.0.1. I said the equivalent of OK, and it appeared that the installation was going on, but suddenly a dialog box said my Firefox Profile was missing and 5.0.1 could not be installed.
I did not know I had a Firefox Profile, nor where it was stored.
Please tell me what to do. I use Firefox for my Calendar. Should I abandon my Calendar on Firefox. I would prefer not to abandon it, because I am easily able to search with Firefox immediately after I use the Calendar.
In short, what should I do to upgrade to 5.0.1?

Firefox 5.0.1 and 3.6.19 contain changes that apply to the OSX operating system. Other OS's can update, but you will not receive an automated update notification. My Firefox 5.0 on Windows also is not yet recognizing an update to 5.0.1 using Help > About Firefox > Check for updates.

  • JavaScript code was missing (Configurator 2 file to 3)...

    Hi Everyone...
I just opened a Configurator 2 file in the new 3.1 and converted it to CS6.  Now I'm getting a "JavaScript code was missing" error when I attempt to run 'Image Processor' and 'Load files into stack' scripts.  These were working just fine previously.  Unfortunately we don't have an older backup of the Configurator 2 file.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?  A quick online search discussed a possible issue with the hard drive sharing the same name as something or other.  I can't see how it worked before and doesn't work now.  The only thing we did was open it in the latest version and convert to CS6.
Note: We have even tried removing the old button and have replaced it with the new Configurator 3 buttons.  Still doesn't work.
Very frustrating... and yes, it's my fault I didn't have a backup of the original Configurator 2 file.

You know... sometimes I just want to scream.
So after further digging I discovered, to my wonderment, that the two scripts in question have been effectively omitted (turned off).  Could someone at Adobe please explain to us why they would do this?  Pehaps you might want to put 'Several Features Not Available' in big bold letters on the download page before people like myself go downloading the latest and greatest only to have their workflow stunted by a clear flaw in the system.  One could safely believe that at the very least, all of the features of the previous Configurator versions would be present and working in the latest release.
Things like this add to my ever-decreasing loss of faith in mankind.
See below for the scripts that don't work... taken from the 'Known Issues' section of the Configurator 3.1 notes.  I'll be sure to always read the 'Known Issues' notes from now on, even though we shouldn't have to.

  • "The following deadline was missed Requested end"

Hope all doing good. I have below requirement from the client and not sure how i can achieve this. Will appreciate if anyone has done this in the past or know how we can achieve this.
If a workitem deadline is reached, in SAP inbox we see a message scrolling in the preview section saying "The following deadline was missed Requested end". This appears only for deadline missed workiems and it appears in the workitem preview section. My client wants this message to be changed to a custom message. Is there any way we can do this? Where is this message coming from?
    Thank you,
    Bobby

    Hi,
    This is pretty simple.
Develop a function module with below code.
Call it in a custom method and call this method in your workflow in the requested end deadline branch.
    This is a background method.
DATA : it_message TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF solisti1 INITIAL SIZE 0 WITH HEADER LINE,
it_attach TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF solisti1 INITIAL SIZE 0 WITH HEADER LINE,
t_receivers LIKE somlreci1 OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE,
             w_doc_data LIKE sodocchgi1.

CONCATENATE 'Travel Request' tripno 'by' emp_name 'needs your approval' INTO w_doc_data-obj_descr

      REFRESH it_message.
      CLEAR it_message.
      CONCATENATE '<MARQUEE><B><FONT COLOR="RED">'

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and was missing the drivers for my HP 5000 printer. I got the drivers from HP and downloaded them. Thanks Paul; but, taking your suggestion didn't solve the problem.  As mail is part of the OS, the updates don't have the capacity to reinstall applications; so, I had to reinstall the OS.  I now have my mail back (although it didn't appear on the dock--I had to go to applications and activate it and then put it back in the dock.  Thanks again for trying.

  • Service po created with reference to preq , in po some fields data was miss

i was created preq with item type D and account assignment category = network  , uploading point data and recipient data.
after that i was created po with reference to that preq , in that  po uploading field , recipient field data was missing , how to get that data in service po

    Hi,
In service documents and blanket PO's the "goods recipient" can not
be used. Please read the information from the note 118008:
The system does not display the goods recipient and unloading point
fields in the account assignment block for a service line even though
they are set as input fields in Customizing.
You cannot display fields 'Unloading Point' and/or 'Goods Recipient' in
the R/3 system. The reason for this is that every account assignment
object for each service specification can have several unloading points
    and/or goods recipients.
In particular, only one cumulation for each account assignment object is
possible and useful at purchase order item level.
As of Release 4.0, user fields are available in external services
    management.
You can name these user fields, for example, 'Unloading Point' and
    'Goods Recipient'.
A user field belongs to the service line and is purely informative.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

I downloaded itunes on my pc and it said that the program couldnt start because msvcr.80dll was missing. What should i do?

    Hello jazzyv_18,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows: Unable to install or open
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376
    Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
    Best of luck,
    Mario
