Proxy (outbound) EOIO

Hello all.
I have a scenario where I need to send a proxy from an ECC 6 system to my PI system.
the proxy must have QoS=EOIO.
When I searched in SAP documentation and in here I found this example:
create proxy client
    CREATE OBJECT lo_clientProxy.
specify queue id
    lo_async_messaging ?=
      lo_clientProxy->get_protocol( if_wsprotocol=>async_messaging ).
    lo_async_messaging->set_serialization_context('PLM0000007_ORDER').
do asynchronous client proxy call
    CALL METHOD lo_clientProxy->execute_asynchronous
             EXPORTING output  = ls_request.
    COMMIT WORK.
    CATCH cx_ai_system_fault INTO lo_sys_exception.
  Error handling
ENDTRY.
the problem is that in the new ECC versions the proxy class generated doesn't contain the method execute_asynchronous anymore but the method: if_proxy_client~execute, and in it I need to use the method of the service interface.
Can anyone please point me to documentation explaining how to ensure Qos=EOIO for the "new proxy" ?

Solved.
forget what I wrote above.
Setting the queue is the same as the old version, the only thing changed is the way to call the execute method.
So now it should look something like this:
create proxy client
CREATE OBJECT lo_clientProxy.
specify queue id
lo_async_messaging ?= lo_clientProxy->get_protocol( if_wsprotocol=>async_messaging ).
lo_async_messaging->set_serialization_context('YourQueue').
TRY.
    CALL METHOD lo_clientproxy->YourMethod
      EXPORTING
        output = YourOutput.
    COMMIT WORK.
CATCH cx_ai_system_fault INTO lo_sys_exception.
Error handling
ENDTRY.
where YourMethod is the one generated with the proxy generation and contains:
if_proxy_client~execute.

  • How set EOIO to proxy outbound sync?

    Hi experts!
    Please, could anyone help me how I can set EOIO in call of the proxy outbound sync?
    I tried using the instructions: XI: Reliable Messaging – EOIO in ABAP Proxies  but without success. I did not understand.
    My scenario is SYNC.
    ECC (Proxy) --> PI (Version 7.4) --> WS Third  (SOAP Axis)
    In WS Third has WS-Security authentication, so we are using axis.
    Thank you!

    Hi Wilson,
    EOIO for sync proxy needs to set in sender system. The sender system should trigger the second message once it receiver the response of first message. There is no additional configuration required in sap pi.

  • File to ABAP proxy with EOIO

    Hi Experts,
    I am working on File to ABAP proxy scenario. The requirement is to have EOIO from end to end.
    Which means the files have to be sent to target system (R/3) in the same order as they are placed in the file location. I have two questions regarding this.
    1. Do I have to create 2 queues, one in PI and one in R/3 to acheive this? In File Sender CC we have option of specifying queue name but in XI Receiver CC, I do not see such option. How to handle this?
    2.For picking the files from folder if I use NFS, then I have option of specifying 'Processing Sequence' as 'By Date' to pick the files based on timestamp. But if I am using FTP, how can I make sure that the files are sent to Integration engine based on timestamp?
    Please provide your valuable inputs.
    Thanks and regards,
    Prasad

    1 queue is okay. Just specify it in the Sender File CC.

    Processing Sequence is not supported for FTP and is only for NFS.
    If you have to use processing sequence, then do an FTP, bring the files to an NFS directory and then use the processing sequence accordingly.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error Handling in Inbound ABAP Proxy with EOIO

    Hi,
    The scenario
    I have a File to ABAP Proxy scenario and since the requirement is that the messages have to be processed in a single queue in the SAP system (i.e. EOIO), the sender file channel was configured to be EOIO. This ensures that all messages that enters the SAP system are put in a single queue and then processed one after the other.
    The Issue
    Now if one of the messages that enter SAP system fails during the processing in the ABAP program, the queue gets stuck and all messages after that go into a scheduled state. And one has to manually clear the errored message in order to continue processing the other waiting messages.
    The Question
    I know this is a default behavior in an EOIO scenario, however is there any way in which if a message fails in the ABAP program then one can automatically push it out of the queue and keep processing the other messages after it ?
    Thanks
    Bharath

    As a general rule I only use EOIO when there is a possibility of dependancy between messages (message 1 must be first and finsihed before message 2 starts). Assuming your just moving the errored message asside, I would assume that EOIO should be just EO.
    Alternatively, change the ABAP proxy to handle the error and return a clean status. Exception handling (try/catch) should be used were ever dangerous code is being used.
    If alerting in the proxy end point is to much trouble - change your proxy to a sync scenario return the error to PI and fire alerts from there <- I think this should be avoided but it will work.
    The main point is the exception handling so that the proxy fails "gracefully".

  • ABAP Proxy outbound doesn't work

    Hi All,
    I want to develop an  ABAP Proxy to SQL server scenario.
    So, I created a  interface in Integration Builder and created a proxy on outbound message interface in SPROXY.
    When i execute sender program in R3 , it works fine, but It doesn´t reach the PI system.
    Outbound message t doesn´t appear in SXMB_MONI in R3 nor Pi system.
    What  is wrong?
    Thanks, in advance
    Carme

    Our basis team has changed the hostname of our  R3 QAs system , but no changes are made in SLD of Pi system.
    I think this could be the cause of this issue.
    ¿can anyone confirm this point?
    If yes, ¿what must i do to recover this functionality?
    Thanks,
    Carme

  • ABAP Proxy outbound not showing in sxmb_moni

    Hi All,
    All my ABAP proxy scenarios are inbound, however I need to do a outbound ABAP Proxy scenario.
    So, I created a Assyn interface in Integration Builder and created a proxy on outbound message interface in SPROXY. (ZCO_ITF_FILE_***).
    R/3 --> SQL server
    In my simple example I created a program in se38 as shown below
    DATA prxy TYPE REF TO ZCO_ITF_FILE_***.
    CREATE OBJECT prxy.
    DATA it TYPE ZMTP_FILE_***.
    TRY.
        it-MTP_FILE_***-id = '12'.
        CALL METHOD prxy->execute_asynchronous
          EXPORTING
            output = it.
    commit work.
    CATCH cx_ai_system_fault .
        DATA fault TYPE REF TO cx_ai_system_fault .
        CREATE OBJECT fault.
        WRITE :/ fault->errortext.
    ENDTRY.
    I want to send just one field called ID.
    The program works fine, the "commit work" is called but It doesn´t reach the XI. It doesn´t appear in SXMB_MONI.
    As I said before I have Inbound Abap Proxies interfaces, so, I got the sxmb_admin configured.
    What am I missing ?
    Thanks
    Diego

  • PI to ECC via ABAP Proxy - Outbound Queue for HTTP

    Dear Experts,
    Is there any Outbound Queue for HTTP?
    I've a interface scenario where the receiver is SAP ECC and the receiver adapter XI ABAP proxy. As I see in the communication channel the transport protocol used is HTTP. So I think could there be an outbound queue to manage HTTP connection when PI send the data to SAP ECC?
    Just like when we are sending IDocs to ECC via tRFC, we could check if the IDoc has really been sent to ECC by checking in tcode SM58 (Outbound tRFC).
    In case for ABAP Proxy via HTTP, is there any similar connection to SM58 (IDoc via tRFC)?
    Thank you,
    Suwandi C.

    Hi Kandasami,
    Thank you for the reply. I will check for it.
    Hi Jens,
    Yes, I mean somewhere after the SXMB_MONI in PI and before SXMB_MONI in ECC, is there any queue in between those two?
    Thank you,
    Suwandi C.

  • ABAP Proxy Outbound Error

    hello everybody,
    i have the next scenario ABAP Proxy->XI->RFC, the problem is that in the sender system I'm getting the next error in SXMB_MONI of sender system:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Call Integration Server
      -->
    - <SAP:ErrorHeader xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/exchange/MessageFormat">
      <SAP:Context />
      <SAP:Code p1="401" p2="Unauthorized" p3="" p4="">HTTP.HTTP_STATUS_CODE_NEQ_OK</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:Text language="EN">HTTP status code 401 : Unauthorized</SAP:Text>
      </SAP:ErrorHeader>
    the status is system error, can anyone help me with this error, cause messages are not aariving to Integration Server, thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Julio Cesar

    Hi Julio
    Check Following Steps:
    1:Have you insterted the correct URL of your Integration Server?
    XMB.TargetURL=http://<host>:<ICM_Port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
    2: Is the user and password correct?
    XMB.User=XIAPPLUSER
    XMB.Password=*****
    3: Are the read permissions in the source directory correct?
    file.sourceDir=/usr/sap/...
    4: Be sure you use the ICM Port in my case 8000, e.g.
    XMB.TargetURL=http://server:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
    If you use SLD information also include
    XMD.SLDConfiguration=SLDaccessor in the file.
    Check also that the XI user has the right profiles in the XI ABAP instance.
    Thanks

  • Is EOIO messaging possible using ABAP Proxy in WAS 620?

    Hello,
    I am trying to implement an outbound EOIO interface using ABAP Proxy on a SAP R/3 470 running on WAS 620. We have XI 3.0 running on WAS 640. I followed the SAP documentation available at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/c9/74246d8ad2447799063d39013e9a11/frameset.htm
    I find that the interface IF_WSPROTOCOL_ASYNC_MESSAGING required in this exaple does not exist in our R/3 system. I also notice that proxy classes generated on WAS 640 have the superclass of CL_PROXY_BASIS. But the proxy object generated in WAS 620 have no superclass at all.
    Does anybody know how I can get EOIO interfaces to work on the WAS 620? Did you use these objects? Can I import / install them somehow? Or, is EOIO just not possible in WAS 620?
    Please let me know.
    Regards
    Cerish Chemparathy

    HI,
    have a look at this link to the ABAP Proxy Runtime based on WAS 6.20 (Xi 2.0) http://help.sap.com/saphelp_xi20sr1/helpdata/en/02/265c3cf311070ae10000000a114084/content.htm
    There is a help entry called Guatanteeing the Order of Asynchronous Messages. Seems that you somehow can set a queue id for this messages and as long as theses messages are all in the same queue, the order will be maintained.
    Your observations are right, there are differences between the Proxy Runtime in WAS 6.20 and in WAS 6.40 and as far as i know, there is no way to downport the 6.40 runtime to 6.20. You will need to stick with wath 6.20 offers.

  • Outbound Proxy error when triggering from SPROXY

    Hi Everyone,
    I was working on outbound proxy from ECC to PI. I have generated the proxy and activated. When I am trying to test the proxy manually from SPROXY the message is not getting triggered to SXMB_MONI in ECC itself. But I didn't get any error message as well. When I am executing the proxy from SPROXY I was getting below message in the status bar. So can anyone help me with the possible solution why the message is not getting triggered.
    Below is the options I have selected while executing the proxy.
    This was the status message which was giving after execution of proxy from SPROXY. The same status was giving for all the Proxy interface which ever is executing from SPROXY.

  • ABAP Proxy Receiver Asynchronous EOIO

    Hi,
    Is it possible to Guaranteeing the Sequence of Asynchronous Messages for ABAP Proxy Receiver(EOIO)?
    If yes, how can I configure?
    Thanks,
    Kiara.

    Hi Stefan,
    Thank you.
    One quick question.
    In case if I  use JMS>PI>RFC(Async) then also no need of maintaining EOIO for RFC Receiver Async?
    On JMS sender we are maintaining EOIO.
    Reason for this request is currently we are using JMS>PI>RFC Async. We are using EOIO on JMS sender, but some times sequence of messages is missing.
    Can you please let us know the cause of this issue.
    Thanks,
    Kiara.

  • ABAP Proxy Generation

    Hi All,
    I trying to create the ABAP Proxy(OUTBOUND)
    I have created the message interface in XI and created outbound proxy in R/3 by using SPROXY Tcode.
    Created the ZProgram by calling class.
    and completed the Configuration steps in integration builder like (Receiver determination, Interface determination, Receiver Agreement and Receiver communication channel).
    When I trying to execute Zprogram in R/3 it is giving "Proxy creation do not transport" and I did not see any message in SXMB_MONI in XI and R/3 too.
    Is there any thing needs to be created in XI or R/3.
    any help how to trace this..
    Thanks
    M

    HEY MURALI,
    In short : these are development steps for ur proxy :
    1. generate the proxy based on a package of 4 layer strucutre.
    2. After generating the proxy , activate it.
    3. i will always test my proxy , at this level so that i can see its working and no issues w.rt. calling from z-program
    4. i will now go and check the working of z-program and activate and execute it. you can also check if the earlier steps were successful , w.r.t debugging ur program.
    5. Also check the settings/ configurations if anything missing.
    Hope this helps
