Proxy to Web Service Communication doesn't work

Hi,
We configured the XI demo example “Checking Flight Seat Availability (Proxy to Web Service Communication)“ (chapter 6.2) and everything works fine until we try to execute the szenario (chapter 6.2.3).
When we try to execute the szenario, we get an error displayed in the runtime Workbench. In the component Integration Server, we get a systemfailure with code “ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION” of category “PARSING”. The Adapter Engine also displays an error in the audit log:
“SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Authority check failed”
The User XIAFUSER has SAP-All-authorizations.
Has anybody an idea, what’s the problem is?
Greetings
Hildegard

Check out, that the URL of the WebService is correct:
"http://<YourServer>:<<b>ABAP_Port</b>>/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/SXIDAL_FLIGHTSEATAVAIL_CHECK?sap-client=<<b>YourClient</b>>"
Change the default values if necessary.
Check in the client, if the role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER (which should be applied to your user) is generated and has no errors.

  • Problems with building web services - tutorial doesn't work

    I've been going through this tutorial from technet.oracle.com -
    trying to deploy the example stateless session bean service.
    First problem comes when running the deploy command -
    java -jar <j2ee_home>/admin.jar ormi://<host> <uid> <pwd> -deploy -file ejbws.ear -deploymentName ejbws.
    This command fails insisting that it can't find application.xml (even though it is clearly in the .ear file).
    Got around this by manually editing the server.xml file and bouncing OC4J. Then did the bind command. The first steps of compiling and running the client application then worked fine - I could see the .wsdl file and download the proxy jar.
    But when I came to actually run the client I got the error:
    Exception in thread "main" [SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Protocol; msg=Unsu
    pported response content type "text/html", must be: "text/xml". Response was:
    <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>500 Internal Server Error</TITLE></HEAD><BODY><H1>500 Internal Server Error</H1><PRE>oracle.j2ee.xanadu.JasperGenerationError: no source generated during code generation!: error: I/O error in UrlBridge to: file:E:\ORACLE\j2ee\home\application-deployments\ejbws\ejbws\temp\__session_bean_rpc\Hello.class.<br>binary class definition not found: Hello
    By manually copying the Hello.class file into the __session_bean_rpc directory I was able to get the example to run.
    But how do I get it do deploy correctly in the first place????

    I ran into the EXACT same problem described by Tracy, and I assembled my .ear file manually.
    According the error message, it would appear that the server is looking for the EJB remote interface in the ../temp/__session_bean_rpc directory when it is trying to generate its session bean wrapper class. As Tracy notes, when the file Hello.class is copied into the directory, the problem goes away. Furthermore, once the wrapper class has been generated, Hello.class is no longer needed and can be deleted from the directory.
    Better still, I found a way to deploy the web services web module and make the error go away. I created the ejbws.war file with a copy of the remote interface Hello.class in the WEB-INF/classes directory. This makes the class available when the wrapper class is generated.
    The WebServicesAssembler tool doesn't copy the EJB remote interfaces into the .war web module, which would appear to be
    necessary.
    Hope this helps.

  • Asynchronous web service call doesn't work

    Hi,
    I'm trying to convert a synchronous web service call into an asynchronous call. (Folder-level Javascript, Acrobat Professional 8.1, Windows XP).
    Everything works fine when I call Soap.Request as a synchronous call. It calls the web service and gets the expected result. However, when I try to convert Soap.Request into an asynchronous call by adding the OAsync property, as described on pp. 198-199 of "Developing Acrobat Applications Using JavaScript," NONE of the various OAsync functions (i.e. result, response, wait) are ever called. IOW, the Javascript code continues executing after the Soap.Request call and doesn't wait for my web service call to return. Indeed, the web service method on the server doesn't even BEGIN to execute by the time the Javascript code runs to completion. (I can confirm this by watching my ASP.Net code execute in the Visual Studio debugger. In fact, the Javascript code runs to completion even before the Global.asax Session_Start code begins to execute, much less the web service method itself.) So, the problem is not with the web service, which works fine when Soap.Request is called as a synchronous method.
    To reiterate, my Javascript code is identical to the code on pp. 198-199 of "Developing Acrobat Applications Using JavaScript." In troubleshooting this, I've tried calling the OAsync functions (mySync.wait(), mySync.result(), mySync.response()) after calling the Soap.Request, but nothing works.
    Is there something else that I must add to my Javascript code (e.g. an additional Soap.Request property, or something after calling Soap.Request) to force the Javascript to wait until the web service method returns?
    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi Lukasz,
    you can also define namespace the later in the operation GetOpenOrders itself, e.g.:
    <tem:GetOpenOrders xmlns:tem=u201Dhttp://tempuri.org/u201D>
    It does not need to be part of the Envelope element.
    Best regards

  • Web-Service-Browser doesn't work

    Hi everybody
    I try to access the Web-Service-Browser on a WAS 6.20 in order to create a Web Service. However when I call "http://s90801:8200/sap/bc/bsp/sap/WebServiceBrowser/search.html?sap-client=
    200", the WAS6.20 asks me for
    User-Id and password the browser returns "the page cannot be display"
    message. The call is executed in SE80 with the test function button.
    The ICM seems the function well when I execute e.g.
    http://s90801:8200/sap/bc/ping
    Your help is really appreciated.

    Hi
    I unchecked the "Show friendly HTTP error message", but
    this dosen't solve the problem, instead it shows
    the run time error RABAX_STATE.
    I need the web-service-browser to generate the

  • SOA - real time proxy to web service scenario

    Hello Experts,
    I am working on PI but really very much new to the SOA concept.
    But i have to prepare document which explains about all steps that we need to follow (technicallly) for the SOA implementation.
    We are going to implement one Proof of Concept for SOA before going for the real project.
    Can someone please help me and tell me what all the things i need to do for Proxy to Web Service Scenario in PI.
    I hope i have made myself clear about it.
    Thanks,
    Hetal

    Hi Gaurav,
    Thanks for your advice.
    I have one more question and i tried to explore SDN alot but didnt get satisfactory answer.
    here is the situation:
    My scenario is like :
    .Net application = consumer
    ECC = Provider
    PI = broker
    SR = Publish ES
    I am using the Outside - In approach, where i am creating proxy structure in ESR and then creating/ Generating Proxy in ECC.
    I am exposing my Inbound Interface on SR, so that the WSDL is available on SR.
    Now the situation is, our consumer is asking data from us in different format.
    I read on help.sap.com that via PI mapping it is possible.
    But i am not understanding that consumer is using ECC WSDL to make a call, then even though mapping is there, how can they get response in their required format.
    They are even providing us their WSDL. I am totally confused that in one interface how come two different WSDLs can work?
    Or is there a way for this?
    I am even ready to use the same structure for my ECC which is provided by consumer, but then i dont see any outcome using PI.
    I also have question, that for standard service also, ECC Enterprise service structure is fixed which we expose, then using PI how can we provide consumers response in their desired way.
    I know that m asking this question again and again, but still it is not getting clear to me... might be m not understanding that how it works in SOA.
    If possible can you tell me the steps that i need to follow technically to develope this interface? so that i can get better understanding?
    Thanks,
    Hetal

  • What the mechanism of the Java Proxy for Web Services in WLS 8.1

    Hi, all;
    I try to find out how the java proxy of web service in weblogic server 8.1
    works. Suppose I use the java Proxy of a WebSerice in a client application whatever
    whithin or outside the application of the web service, does the proxy actually:
    1. translate my java arguments objects in XML to create SOAP msg,
    2. then send the msg across the network, and web service also response SOAP msg,
    3. then proxy translate it into return value of the method call ?
    If that is true , the Java Proxy seems very inefficient, right?
    Can any body tell me how the proxy works ?
    regards,
    shannon

    Hi Shannon,
    The type of proxy I'm familiar with is at the http connection level and
    associated with the networking properties in the JDK, See:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/net/properties.html
    Your question may be related to JWS proxies, See:
    http://edocs.bea.com/workshop/docs81/doc/en/workshop/guide/howdoi/howUseTheJavaProxyForAWebService.html
    You may want to ask this question in the workshop newsgroup.
    Hope this helps,

  • Export PDF converts filled PDF form without the data - Turns filled PDF form onto blank Word doc. Is there a solution to this or did Adobe just sell me a service that doesn't work?

    Export PDF converts filled PDF form without the data - Turns filled PDF form onto blank Word doc. Is there a solution to this or did Adobe just sell me a service that doesn't work?

    ExportPDF is not for forms. In general, converting forms to Word is a really, really bad idea which can even cause legal problems. Work with the form as a PDF. Acrobat (not Reader) can export form data as simple text for example.

  • Proxy to Web service Error

    Hi ,
    Please let me know about this error?
    "" Error Exception caught by adapter framework: Exception in method process.??"
    Its a proxy to web service scenario.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

    Hi,
       The best option for searching more information about the error is to use Netweaver Administrator application. In "log viewer application" you can find more detailed information about the error ocurred in your application.
        Another option is to analize the trace information in XML Header.
        Please, put the  detail error text in this forum. It's very difficult for us to help you with this information.

  • HTTPS Web Service datastore : does not work in case of proxy

    Data Services 12.2 on Windows XP SP2
    I've set up a datastore, type "web service", url is https://.... (an external web service, outside of our company)
    I'm able to import the functions of this web service into the datastore.
    In a DF, in a query transform, I call one these functions.
    The job fails with this error message :
    There is no response for the web service <searchCertificate>. Ensure that the network, web server, and service are running properly. Also ensure that the service client call time out is set properly.
    I'm sure the web service is active. I have to pass a proxy.
    When I do not have to pass a proxy (when I execute this job on my laptop not connected to the office network) the job runs fine !
    How can you configure the axis2.xml so that https can run with a proxy ? (no problem to do this for http web services, but I do not see a solution for https web services !)
    Thanks !!

    Hi Sukarna,
    the connection is not the problem.
    Actually I've tested the scenario of abap proxy --> PI -->abap proxy for the same interface, it works fine. Only when I try ws instead of proxy, I got this error. Since proxy scenario works fine, the connection should not be issue.
    any more clues?
    Thanks

  • Glassfish Web Service XSLT Transformation Not Working

    Hi,
    I've got a problem transforming an incoming soap request from a Microsoft Web Services Toolkit client. Basically, I've got a JAX-WS web service deployed to Glassfish v2 b33 which works fine when called by a Java client, but when called from the MS web services toolkit, some extra namespace elements are added to the SOAP request which the JAX-WS service doesn't seem to like. The incoming soap request looks like: <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <SOAP-ENV:Header/>
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
               <SOAPSDK4:getConfig xmlns:SOAPSDK4="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
              <SOAPSDK4:arg0>Inbound</SOAPSDK4:arg0>
         </SOAPSDK4:getConfig>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope> The problem lies with <SOAPSDK4:arg0>Inbound</SOAPSDK4:arg0>, in that the inclusion of SOAPSDK4 for any arguments (i.e. arg0, arg1) results in the values for the arguments reaching the web service as null. I've tested sending the SOAP request with a tcpmon utility, and the same soap request (as above) without the SOAPSDK4 in the arg0 element (i.e. <arg0>Inbound</arg0>) works fine.
    So I tried using the Transformation feature of glassfish, transforming the incoming SOAP request using the following XSLT file which I have tested and am sure works (I'm no XSLT guru so this will definitely need some tidying up): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet  version="1.0"
         xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
         <xsl:template match="*">
              <xsl:copy><xsl:copy-of select="@*"/><xsl:apply-templates/></xsl:copy>
         </xsl:template>
         <xsl:template match="/SOAP-ENV:Envelope/SOAP-ENV:Body/*">
              <xsl:copy>
                   <xsl:copy-of select="@*"/>
                   <xsl:for-each select="*">
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"><arg></xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="position() - 1"/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="."/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"></arg></xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="position() - 1"/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
                   </xsl:for-each>
              </xsl:copy>
         </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>I load the .xsl file using the Transformation utility which seems to work fine, but when a request comes in from the MS client I get the following error: [#|2007-05-11T09:23:46.530+0100|INFO|sun-appserver9.1|javax.enterprise.system.tools.admin|_ThreadID=15;_ThreadName=Thread-15;com.sun.enterprise.admin.event.wsmgmt.TransformationRuleEvent -- server [1 Change(s), Id:1, ts:1178871826530];|ADM1041:Sent the event to instance:[com.sun.enterprise.admin.event.wsmgmt.TransformationRuleEvent -- server [1 Change(s), Id:1, ts:1178871826530]]|#]

    How are you passing the input to XSLT?
    If your input request is following:
    <cus:InputParameters xmlns:cus="http://www.tcs.com/Customer">
    <cus:customerID>2</cus:customerID>
    </cus:InputParameters>Then you should pass $body/cus:InputParameters as the Input document for bind input in Proxy Service.

  • Web Service communication through HTTPS

    Hi Experts,
    I have created a web service for my offline interactive form. The connection works fine if I give Communication security as "None" in transaction SOAMANAGER. But it doesn't work if I give HTTPS as Communication security. Will adobe forms work with HTTPS connection using web service?
    In my R/3 server HTTPS port is open.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sanoosh

    Hi Sanoosh,
    There seems to be a routine problem with Adobe on HTTPs even when it says HTTP/HTTPS in dataconection.
    follow the below post with similar issue.
    Re: Calling HTTPS Webservice error
    the final post from Otto there gives you series of steps to resolve this.

  • Web Services Viewlets Don't Work ...

    I've been pounding on the 1.0.2.2 App server and the 9i RC JDeveloper for over a month. My latest problem..
    I've created a stateless java class in JDeveloper.
    I've tested it functionality by running it at the command prompt.
    I've followed the viewlets ex to create a web service from the statelesss java class.
    I've followed the viewlets ex to create a web services stub with the stateless java class.
    I've followed the viewlets ex to call the stub with another java class.
    I get the following message below when I run the test class.

    I searched for the exception in OTN, and have found some help, so I've deselected the PROXY buttons for my JDeveloper env and the project. Still no help.
    I've been wondering if anybody actually knows the answer. Could I have a mis-configured SOAP server.
    Help Anybody...
    Thanks,

    There is a limitation with the current version of Application Express and working with BPEL services. This post contains some relevant information from the metalink note:
    Re: Web Service no parameter input
    Also, further down is an example of using UTL_HTTP in a page process to interact manually with a Web service. A similar process could be written to interact with a BPEL process.

  • WSDL error during generation of  ABAP proxy for web service

    Hi friends,
    I am getting error during the generation of ABAP proxy object for web service developed in .NET .
    Error : Proxy generation terminated: WSDL error (<extension> not supported).
    How to make this WSDL file compatible  for  ABAP proxy.
    I have tried to edit WSDL file in XML Spy but did not get any option to replace/remove the tag <extention>.
    If any one worked on this. Please help me its urgent.
    Thanks and regards,
    Shivanand.

    HI ,
    I am having the same issue!!!
    Does ABAP Proxy Generation support <extension> ?
    Is there a list available of what is supported and what not (please consider I do not have access to sap notes)?
    Thanks

  • JMS Proxy to Web Service Problem

    Hi All,
    I have a JMS proxy that routes messages to a web service. I have set the delivery failure parameters on the JMS queue. When a message is put onto the queue and there is a problem within the message flow proper, the message is retried the appropriate number of times and put onto the Error Destination queue as necessary. However, if there is a problem calling the web service, message delivery is NOT retried, the message is NOT put onto the Error Destination queue, and the message is lost. The web service itself isn't throwing a SOAP Fault, but the business service can't reach the web service (firewall issue). My Route Error Handler in the message flow is hit and it performs a Reply With Failure.
    Can anyone please explain to me if this is by design and, if so, why? Also, how does a person work around this? I need the message to be retried. I understand that a web service cannot participate in an XA transaction, but it seems to me any failure within the message flow should cause a retry on the JMS queue.
    Thanks.

    You should remove the Route Node since it should only be used in HttpProxy.
    Instead use just the request pipeline for your routing.
    if (condition1)
    Service Callout (or publish) to Service1
    else if (condition2)
    Service Callout (or publish) to Service2
    else
    Rasie error?
    You shouldn't need to reply with failure. Any errors in the service callout or publish should go to exception handling if you use QoS exactly-once.

  • Rest service DELETE doesn't work with OSB

    Hi,
    I am using OSB 11g, I am using OSB proxy to monitor external rest services call. I've created a business service that point to the external rest service and I created a proxy that is routed to my business service. I modified the flow by adding a piplinepairNode -->requestPipline-->stage -->created two assign and created two variable one for the id and another one for the productID. Then I modified the business service flow as follow:
    created two insert, one to define the method, which is DELETE and another one to set the relative-URI to the productID variable and I set the response to replace the . in the body with $body, following this post: http://blogs.oracle.com/jeffdavies/entry/restful_services_with_oracle_s_1
    When I test it using osb console Execute, I can see my productID variable is set to $inbound and it is passed all the way to the business service, where it should call the external rest service with the relative-URI, which is set to my productID. it doesn't work, I get 404 error, which is undefined, I believe the reason is because business service is trying to call the external rest service with
    http://localhost:{port}/deleteProduct and the rest service expect this URL
    http://localhost:{port}/deleteProduct/2 or {productID}
    can you please help and tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    appreciate any kind of help
    Thanks
    M.
