PSE 4.0 HTML Fotogalerie editieren

welche Fehlermeldung kommt denn ?

  • PSE 12 slow on Mac

  • PSE 9 Very Slow with Large Catalogs!!!!!

I have used PSE since v3.  Starting with verison 8.0, performance has gotten much worse.  PSE 9 is especially bad in folder view, and takes a long time to switch to full screen view (F11): ~13 seconds.  And this is on a very fast computer.
I have auto analyzer and tagging turned off.  I've repaired and optimized my catalog.  I actually recreated my catalog from scratch (huge pain) thinking perhaps there was an issue with my prior (converted) catalog.  Nothing helped. Based on other posts, it seems it's simply a function of the program and is a well known problem.  I'm extremely disappointed that such a fundamental issue wasnt resolved in PSE 9 after experiencing it in PSE 8.
When I first installed PSE 9, switching to full screen was actually fast, but i think that is before all the thumbnails were created.  It seems that as the thumbs cache grows, the performance gets much worse.  I typically work in folder view, so i'm only looking to do full screen of the contents in the folder (typically less than 100 pix) - however, it doesn't seem to matter how many photos are in the folder - switching to full screen still takes more than 13 seconds.
I like the program overall, but this is getting ridiculous.  I know PSE isn't Adobe's 'core' product, but this is a prosumer product and should at least be usable.
Come on Adobe - get this fixed!!!!!  Stop worrying about the flashy features, and fix the basics (folder view and full screen switching)!!!!!
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
    Specs:
    - catalog has ~23k pictures; 30 albums
    - computer is a quad core 3.0 ghz; 8gb ram, raid striped hard drive, high end graphics card, running win 7 x64

  • How to remove and reinstall PSE 10?

I am unable to edit PSE 10 to completion.  The editing works fine until I try to close it.   It doesn't finish and I get an error message "failed to import" (to Organizer) with a bar chart showing 95% completion.  In effect, I can't edit.  One other oddity that surfaced and may(?) be related is that when I try to open PSE, it opens the Editor.  I can then open the Organizer from the Editor, but that's not the way things should work.   I've had wonderful Adobe community help, but the problem persists.  I'm well past my knowlege, and I suspect (but am not certain) I need to remove and replace my current PSE 10.  I do not have a disc as I downloaded the original.  How do I proceed?  Thanks in advance ... Phillip Young.

    Hi Phillip,
Please download Photoshop Elements 10 from the below mentioned link

  • How Can I Install Elements in Windows 8?

I have just purchased an Asus Vivo 11" S200 Notebook. I was to run Elements on the machine, but when I try to load it from disc, the Installation Wizard says that I need Explorer 4.0 or higher. The machine runs Explorer 10, but the Setup fails and closes every time. What do I need to do?

  • Photoshop CS4 and Elements 10 in same pc

I am trying to install my Photoshop CS4 in a computer that has Photoshop Elements 10 already installed.  I think I read that I might need to uninstall Elements because there are some file that CS4 won't like.  I get a message that "The Installer Database is corrupt.  Please contact Adobe Customer Service."  I don't have an install disk for Elements 10 so I don't want uninstall it to try it out.  My computer is a PC running Windows7.
Does anyone else have them working together?  I used the install disk on my computer at work and it worked fine after getting the corrupt database message here.  So I believe the disk is okay.
    Thanks,
    Jim

    then, uninstall pse 10.
    then run the cs4:  http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
    then restart your computer.
then install pse 10 and activate with your serial number.
    then install ps cs4.

  • Web Photo Gallery using PSE10?

In previous versions of Elements, I was able to create a web photo gallery which created thumbnails and web pages, and the folders within those files were contained...... how do I do that in Elements 10?

In recent versions of PSE the old HTML web galleries have been replaced by the online albums in the organizer. You can export the completed album to your hard drive and then FTP it to your website.

  • Can't locate trial version

I have been wanting to purchase Adobe Photo Elements 11, but do not want to pay a fortune for an editor that I know nothing about.  So I tried to download the trial version to see if I was going to be satisfied with the program.  To my surprise, I cannot find the downloaded trial version.  I first went to adobe.com and downloaded the "Adobe Assistant" and it prompted me to set up an account. After setting up my account I was then able to download the trial version of Adobe Photo Elements 11.  After waiting for 2 hours??, I tried to locate the downloaded file on my computer.  NO LUCK!!  I downloaded it again to see if it was just that it hadn't downloaded, and again NO PHOTO ELEMENTS!!! This has to be the poorest set-up ever from adobe!  Can you help me to fix this probleM?

  • Photoshop Elements 10 Organizer freezes shortly after startup

I have about 35000 pictures with avg size of 7Mb and use a single catalog to manage these.
I created chronological albums by filtering on 6 month time periods, i have about 16 of these.
When I created this initial setup, the organizer was working fine. not since then.
    e.g.:
-When I'm trying to download new pictures from my camera, I can open the Photo downloader program, it detects the camera and the pictures on it, I can set to location to download to, but none of the other settings, like 'Rename Files' and the Get Media button doesn't respond, even though it looks active.
-When I try to browse through my albums, I can select one, but then the application becomes unresponsive and I cannot get it to do anything anymore.
I'm also observing continuous harddisk activity and the Windows Task Manager is showing that is caused by the PSE Organizer.
I'm running Windows 7 64bit, have 8Gb memory, and 2 Xeon quadcore 2.33 mhz processors
I welcome any suggestions as to what could be causing the problem.

    Hope it resolves the issue.

  • Legitimate newly purchased Premiere Elements-10 32-bit install files not available

    Friends:
I purchased an $1100 Nikon camera and the deal included OEM PS Premiere Elements 10.
Legit purchase with a CD and legit Serial #.
Can't install because what is Adobe's fault, not the camera vendor's and certainly not mine.
    Adobe's own published notice:
"The 64-bit version of Adobe Premiere Elements 10 only installs on Windows 7 64 bit. If you have Windows XP 64 bit or Vista 64 bit, it's necessary to install the 32-bit version. Because the Adobe Download Assistant automatically downloads the 64-bit version in error, it's necessary to download the 32-bit version manually through alternate means."
The problem is that the same holds true for installing on XP Pro SP3 and Adobe makes no mention of it in the above admission.
Then, Adobe's own Solutions 1, 2 & 3 for manual download all fail, even after fussing for days over it.
Even Solution 3, the last ditch option, fails perhaps because Elements 11 is out and Adobe has killed the 10 download Ftp sites.
Files I am unable to download from Adobe (without entrapment by so called Free Dowload sites) are:
    http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PRE/10/win32/PremiereElements_10_LS15_win32.exe
    http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PRE/10/win32/PremiereElements_10_LS15_win32.7z
How can I solve my dilemma, being denied my right to learn Elements from a legally purchased 10 and being
forced to purchase 11 instead on top it. Fair?
I am requesting Adobe politely to make it possible to download the Adobe recommended two files withou hassles.
I must mention in this context my own  (and thousands of others') sad experience with Flash updates. Just follow
my own (and others') posts in Adobe forums. Plus, just read the Internet posts along these lines:
"It's impossible to download anything from Adobe. I have given up and I have given up on Adobe products."
Not that I want to, but I am forced into echoing the same sentiment.
    Can anyone help, please ?
    Thanks,
    Pradip A.

    Hello Mr. Wright:
The download now works. Appreciate your help.
The ...7z file is 1.37 Gb long. I have super high speed Fibre Optic Internet connection with Bell. I rarely have the ocassion to download files of this size. After downloading more than 1 Gb, the transfer hung - either at the Client end, or at the Server end. Bell is sending tech Thursday to mitigate some line noise they detected. Hopefully, the stars will fall into the right place before long.
