PTF Loggin error

I get the error below when loggin into Peoplesoft Test Framework

The following write up might help even though it's 8.51/ 8.52 I don't think much has changed in the setup:
http://remotepsadmins.com/2013/05/10/peoplesoft-test-framework/
Setup of PTF is not a client only configuration.  Given the error, I would guess the ANONYMOUS node has PSADMIN defined as the Default User (I believe that's delivered).  But the user PSADMIN doesn't exist in your system.  Please review the section on assigning roles to the user for the ANONYMOUS node.

I'm assuming you are trying to log into the PTF client as some user other than PSADMIN, which you know exists in the system.

  • Wmiprov.log - WDM call returned error: 4200

I have swtiched to an ASUS motherboard, but I have a feeling that it may be a problem for other nForce motherboards as well and I know that you guys are always on top of things in here...and I was hoping that you could confirm or deny my theory. There was another person in the ASUS Forum that has this same thing happening, so at least I know that it is nForce + 3.13 driver related somehow.
Windows XP Pro - I've noticed that my A7N8X-E is logging WMI errors in the file c:\windows\system32\wbem\logs\wmiprov.log. The error message is logged every ten seconds and states this exactly:
    (Thu Feb 19 22:52:00 2004.105546) : WDM call returned error: 4200
    (Thu Feb 19 22:52:00 2004.105546) : WDM specific return code: 4200(Thu Feb 19 22:52:00 2004.105546)
To troubleshoot where it may be coming from, I tried a few things:
1). Started in Safe Mode. It was NOT logging the error.
2). Started in regular mode with all startup applications disable, it WAS logging the error.
3). Disabled all extra devices in Device Manager, still logging the error.
4). Uninstalled the 3.13 drivers, the error logging stopped.
5). Reinstalled the 3.13 drivers, the errors started logging again. In fact, I checked the file right at the point in the driver installation where it pauses to tell you about the dangers of the IDE drivers and it was already logging the errors.
Does anyone else have this occuring on their motherboard? I would really appreciate it if you could check. If not, does anyone know what might be causing this error to logged.

    Hi Axel,
In my case I can completely stop the "WDM call returned error: 4200" by disabling my network interface card.  To try this, right-click on Network Neighborhood and choose 'Properties'.  Then right click on your Local Area Network and choose "Disable".   Then check the log file again in a few minutes to see if it quit loggin errors.  In my case it did stop logging errors.  To test further I uninstalled the nForce onboard LAN and installed a 3Com network card instead.  It also creates the WDM call returned errors as soon as you enable the TCP/IP protocol for the device.
Microsoft says that error #4200 means "ERROR_WMI_GUID_NOT_FOUND, "The GUID passed was not recognized as valid by a WMI data provider".
I don't think this is a serious error and I doubt it causes any problems, but over at nforcershq.com...I have heard from other people that receive the error too.   All of my Intel based machines NEVER receive this error.  There is very little information on the internet regarding WMI errors, but they are designed for driver programmers to debug problems with their drivers...they really aren't meant to be useful for the end user.  I only came across the error because I was running a hard drive activity monitoring program to diagnose a different problem and I kept seeing that I was writing to the log file every ten seconds...so I decided to open the log file to check it out.
In the mean time I have turned off error logging because it will save on hard drive activity.  My system was logging the error every 10 seconds.  You can turn off the logging by running this from the 'Start -> Run' button "wmimgmt.msc"  Once the window opens, right-click on 'WMI-Control Panel' and choose 'Properties'.  Click on the 'Logging' tab and choose disabe.
One easy way to check which version of nVidia drivers you downloaded is to go to C:\nvidia\nForceWin2KXP and look at the next folder name to see if it says 3.13.

I haven't got a clue what they mean though - anyone else know?
This may sound like a stupid question but how do I find out which set of nForce drivers I have installed (I just download them and install them and I can't remember which ones I have on this partition - I rewrite "Drive Image(s)" quiet a lot also so it's not easy to keep track.
In the "nForce Control Panel" I have the Audio Driver version 6.14.0366.0 (3.66)
and Control panel version 1.00.00.036 (3.66). Am I right in assuming the drivers I have are 3.66?

Have reffered SAP Note 957355 and performed the steps given in the note, but still the same error.
I am able to login to the PORTAL with the same Administrator user and password.
Pls suggest where could be the issue and how to process.
    Regards,
    Abhijeet

Problem solved. ... No, I have also an answer , perhaps it can help some other peoples.
As I said there is a note 957355. I create the entrys in offlineconfigtool, but nothing happens. So I checked the other entrys in the "configuration" node in "security" (the note 957355 treated the authentication entry)    , like "UME User Store"  "ticket" and so on. I've taking another system and ckecked this entrys and compare it with my system. So I could restore the default entrys in all security nodes (for authentication). After an restart - voila, it workes.
    greetings
ps.: hm, can I give some points for me?

Unable to obtain a connection to Hyperion Essbase. If this problem persists, please contact your administrator
    Steps i followed :
    1. created schema
    2.created DSN on application servr
3.Created planning Applicaion from AppWizard plannig link
    4.Application was succesfully created.
5.tried login into the plannig aplication got the boce error.
6.the application i not seen when i login with Admin id through EAS console ....
7.Applicaction is not created in essbase server also...i see in essbase server back end

Check out in shared services if the user is still provisioned with appropriate access, if not do it.
Try running updateusers utility because user dosent exists as NTLM and try creating the application again from Essbase and from Planning.
If it doesnt work then Create a new user with administrator access and In EAS refresh the security from shared services and try creating the essbase and planning applications using new admin. Check if it works.

  • Error when loggin on to the portal

    Hello all,
I am new to the portal and I need your help to figure out a proble I have. When I log on to the portal I get the following error message on some of the tabs (not all):
No user mapping defined for system SAP_WebDynpro_XSS
When I get this message I am prompted to enter user ID and password.
Does anybody know what I am missing or how to solve this problem?
    Thank you,
    Enrique

    Well,
You have a system with alias SAP_WebDynpro_XSS which is used to show you were webdynpro applications for ESS/MSS are.
This system is setup with authentication user mapping, but most probably the SAP_WebDynpro_XSS is running on the same portal, and it should have been SAP logon Ticket.
    So either
    1) Go and setup a usermapping for alias SAP_WebDynpro_XSS, should probably be your portal username/password, or the username/password of the system hosting the webdynpros (do this under useradministration user mapping)
    2) Change Logon method the system with alias
SAP_WebDynpro_XSS from user mapping to SAP logon ticket

It's RMAN command. If you have taken RMAN backup of the database, you will be able to recover that file using that command :

    Santosh,
What are all the Components that you have deployed using JSPM?
Try to deploy those components using SDM.
I think those components may depend on each other,so that you are facing this issue.
Try to deploy component/patches in a right order using SDM.

  • Error while loggin into EPMA after schema migration - 9.3.1.3 to11.1.1.3.02

    Hello Everyone,
We are migrating 9.3.1.3 EPMA DB schema (having planning/hfm applications) to 11.1.1.3 EPMA. Applied the required patch - "p9535372" to target server "11.1.1.3" so now target server is 11.1.1.3.02. After patch apply, we migrate the EPMA DB Schema and execute the upgrade through Configurater. Everything goes fine and able to login into shared services and workspace but system throws an error while loging into EPMA.
    Error Message -
    1) loading the module 'awb.appcontainer" failed

    Hi John,
Thanks for you reply. Do you mean the process should be as follows (i add step 4 and remove step 7)? What about migrating business rules and calcmanager, how can i migrate this?
    Kind Regards
    1. Backup the relational tables of the application in 9.3.1
    2. Backup essbase objects (rul, otl ,csc, rep)
    3. Install EPMA 11.1.2.2 in a new server, including a new sql server instance.
    4. Shared Services provisioning use CSSImportExport utility to export from the 9.3.1 env and then transform to LCM format to import, or you can look at the HSSMigrate utility which is available with 11.1.2.2 (JohnGoodwin)

  • Error While Loggin in Solution Manager 3.2

    Hello there!!
    I have HP-UX, Oracle 9i,Sol MAn 3.2
I have installed Sol Man3.2 on my Dev Server under instance SM1 and system number 00
now when i add this system on my SAP Logon
and click on the logon button
i get error as connection refused.
    details error is mentioned below.
I have started the Instance SM1 and it is showing instance started.
    Component:NI
    Release:640
    Version:37
    Module: nixxi_r.cpp
    Line:8716
    Method: NiPConnect2
    return Code -10
    System Call: SiPeekPendConn
    Error No 10061
    Error text WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused
    kindly help
    saurabh

    Hi Saurabh,
sorry, I am not able to support you in finding the cause for the connection problem.
    Anyway, my recommendation:
    - Delete the SolMan 3.2 installation
    - Install Solman 4.0
    - Apply all Support Packages
    - perform the configuration on 4.0 according the IMG
Configuring SolMan 3.2 is wasted time, if it has not been used in the past. SolMan 4.0 supports implementation / upgrade from/to SAP ERP 2004.
An upgrade in the future costs much more time and money, then to reinstall 4.0 now.
Deleting SolMan 3.2 and reinstall SolMan 4.0, this will only 2 extra days. Upgrade takes about 4-10 days.

  • Error while loggin in to Interaction Manager

    Hi,
After launching TAW application, when we try to login to Interaction manager with logins
    admin/admin
    or
    other SUoervisor user,
We get this error at the Java console
08 Sep 2009 18:32:04:686 FATAL SystemMessageHandler [Revision: 9] received server is down
08 Sep 2009 18:32:05:766 FATAL SystemMessageHandler [Revision: 9] received server is down
08 Sep 2009 18:32:06:910 FATAL SystemMessageHandler [Revision: 9] received server is down
Also the application gives these errors-
    "Login to IM Failed"
"Unable to retrieve data from webserver"
Any pointers to solve these issues are much appreciated.

    1. In 8.1 version Interaction Manager is not first point (may be it not supported). To log in you must deploy cca aplication and log to <websever>/cca application.
    2. Make shure that the IMServer is running via Network Manager.

While logging into one of the services(BBPSTART) in SRM 4.0 (WebAS 6.40) we get the following error...
    "Error when processing your request
    What has happened?
The URL http://bg3sapc.bdc3bproj.co.in:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart was not called due to an error.
    Note
The following error text was processed in the system IBS : Templateinterpretation abgebrochen, Template nicht vorhanden.
The error occurred on the application server bg3sapc_IBS_00 and in the work process 0 .
    The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
    The ABAP call stack was:

This also gives an ABAP dump (comes in german)& an error on dev_w0 as "ITS_TEMPLATE_NOT_FOUND"
    Any help would be apprecaited.

This problem was solved after the table TWPURLSVR was mantained properly (The port was missing).
It should b of the format <Hostname>.<DomainName>:<Port>
    Exmple:
    INDSRM.comp1.co.in:8000

  • Error while loggin and creating new repository

    Hi All,
I have installed SAP MDM on with SQL 2005 on a server. All the services are running, but when im trying to login into an exisitng repository sys is throwing an error "Repository connect fail. Unable to connect to *repository" and when im trying to create a new repository error is " Unable to connect to database server". Can some one provide any lead on this.
    Thanks in advance
    Manish

    Hi Manish,
Apart from what other have mentioned I would like to add a few points. Please also check for following case:
    1) The DBMS user that MDM uses to connect to a DBMS must have access rights equivalent to the
system user. You can use the system account or create a user with equivalent rights. Like in your case the built-in system accounts is  MS SQL u2013 sa (reserved).
2)Make sure that the MDM user SAPService<SID> has the necessary rights for accessing the database client.
    3) Check if you have provided proper DBMS path in DBMS settings.
    4) Check if your SQL server is loaded. If not please start the SQL services.
I hope I am able to solve your problem
    Thanks & Regards
