Publish string message to MQ using MQ adapter

Hi,
I'm attempting to publish message to MQ using the MQ adapter in SOA Suite 11.1.1.4. The expected format of the message is an xml document (see below).
<record>
<child1></child2>
<child2></child2>
</record>
I have defined a schema for the MQ adapter that models the above xml document, but when I send the message through the MQ adapter I get the below result:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<record xmlns="">
<child1></child2>
<child2></child2>
</record>
I can't have the xml version definition and I can't have the xmlns="" for the namespace.
What kind of configuration do I need to do to get that desired result from the first example? Has anyone ran across something similar.

I to would like to have an answer on this.  Can you implement MQ channel-based security exits with the JMS adapter?
Also, can you use the  MQQueueConnectionFactory to pre-configure the proper SSL handshake?

  • Not able to see Message Content while using SOAP Adapter

    Hi freinds
    I am working on following scenario
    Web Application ---> SOAP Adapter ---> XI ---> RFC Adapter ---> SAP R/3
    Web application is using the WSDL file which I generated from XI.
    Now everything is going fine & I am even getting the XML data in SAP R/3 ( Order is getting created ) but in RWB under message monitoring I am getting " <b>Content of message deleted to save memory</b> " for message content.
    Even in SXMB_MONI for that timeframe it is showing " <b>No messages available for selection</b> ".
    Can you tell me why I am not getting the message content & the message itelf in SXMB_MONI. What I need to do in order to get the message content while monitoring.

    Now one thing I need to do is to increase the TIMEOUT value with the help of <b>OSS Note 824554</b>.
    But still in RWB ( with 2 records also ) under message monitoring I am getting " <b>Content of message deleted to save memory</b> " for message content.
    My objective now, is to display the payload which is coming from Web Application via SOAP Adapter in RWB. Can you help me in this.

  • XI message with Attachment using Http Adapter

    Hi ,
    We are using XI/PI 7.0 with Sp09 and Sender Application is SRM and Receiver is Ariba MarketPlace.
    We are trying to Send PO with Attachments like Word, PDF etc from SRM to Ariba using Https adapter and from SRM we are using ABAP Proxy. When I did the testing with out any special config, I was able to send the attachments (I can see word doc as part of the payload-attachment) to XI from SRM but this attachment is not going through https adapter from XI to Ariba?
    I have read some posts on this but I could not find the answer for my situation. One of the solution is that we can use SOAP adapter but we don't want to use Soap for some reasons.
    Please give your thoughts.
    Thanks in Advance.

    That is true.
    > Also sap help link says Http adapter doesn't support
    > attachments and XI adapter also doesn't support.
    That is not true. XI adapter (in fact we do not talk of an adapter) supports attachments.
    > It means Proxy also shouldn't support because proxy is
    > nothing but XI adapter.
    This is true, ABAP or Java Proxy are like XI adapter. Therefore it supports attachments.

    The online help is wrong.

    I do not see another solution besides using SOAP adapter in so-called non-SOAP mode. Yes you have to reimport the certificates to J2EE stack.

  • How to build dynamic query strings in the query using DB adapter 'Pure SQL'

    Dear Forum,
    I am building an application which will access DB to fetch some result set. The query involves retrieving data from multiple tables(nearly 10 tables). So I have created a DB adapter using 'execute pure sql' option. With this query works fine, but my inputs parameters will vary. So I need to make my query dynamic to append the query strings at runtime depending on the inputs.
    For example I have 3 input variables - input1,input2 and input3 (in my request xsd) which are used in the pure sql query. Now if I get a 4th input parameter input4 in the request, I need to append this to query string as 'AND input4=[some value]' at runtime. Otherwise my query should have only 3 parameters. Please suggest how this can be achieved.
    Regards,
    Satya.

    This is a strange requirement, depending on the columns you have and what are optional in them, one way is to have separate operations and each opeartion will have different inputs and for each operation , a different DB Adapter is called. But this way, it results in more number of operations for the service as well as more number of references in the composite. Even if you pass the column inputs to the SQL procedure, it will result in a large number of if-else cases..
    Thanks,

  • How to store the rejected messages in bpel using file adapter

    Hi all,
    I am using the file adpter to read the text file.In file some bad messages are there.
    now i can read the correct data.but i can't view rejected messages.
    if im not using "rejectedmessagehandler" , but it is stored in default directory.
    In my application,correct messages are reading but bad messages are not stored in default directory.
    pls can you help on that rejected messages store

    Hi
    You have to define rejectedMessageHandlers in activation agent part of ur fileadpater in bpel.xml.
    ex:
    *<activationAgent*
    className="oracle.tip.adapter.fw.agent.jca.JCAActivationAgent"
    partnerLink="UrPartnerLinkName">
    *<property name="rejectedMessageHandlers">*
    file://YourFolderStructure (Where you want to save your rejected messages... Only folder structure)
    *</property>*
    *</activationAgent>*
    If u have any rejected messages those will be written to a file named as INVALID_MSG_ + process-name + operation-name + current-time in the above structure

  • Picking fragments of a message from MQ using MQ adapter

    Hi,
    We are using Oracle SOA suite 10.1.3.4.
    Is it possible to pick up message in a MQ in parts.
    For example we have a message in MQ which has 10 invoice details is it possible to pick up each invoice details one by one or we have to pick up the complete
    message at a time?
    Any pointers in this regard is highly appreciated.
    With Regards,
    Harshwardhan

    This is general feature available in MQ (and JMS specifications). You have Message Segmentation+ that is generally used for such scenarios.
    Message Segment - If a message is very large, then it can be divided into multiple small messages, called segments. Each segment has a group ID and an offset. All segments of a message have the same group ID. The last segment of the message is marked with a flag.
    Message Group - A message group consists of a set of related messages with the same group ID. Each message in a message group has a message sequence number. The last message in a message group is marked with a flag.As long as the producer of the messages does the segmentation, the client will be able to get the message appropriately.
    Please refer to the below documentation for more information @ http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_mq.htm#BABIBEFB
    Hope this helps.

  • Push different type of messages to JMS Queue using JMS Adapter

    Platform: Oracle SOA 11g. JMS Adapter.
    I got to push different types of messages as string to same queue. JMS Adapter requires schema to push a message to a queue. Since messages are of different types, how can I push them into queue. I tried to use singleString schema. Result is that actual message gets wrapped into <singleString> root element which is not the required result.
    Any hints or links shall be appreciated.

    Thanks fo ryour reply and help. I appreciate that.
    Wrapping of original message in <singleString>  element is done by JMS Adapter as the very last activity/setting. I am not composing/transforming message into final shape with singleString through transformation.
    Once message is with JMS adapted on one end, it is in Queue on the other end. No control.
    Since consuming end is not in my control and requires the actual message in Text format, I need to have the message target queue in Text format.
    If I select the Opaque schema, following error message is thrown.
    <bpelFault><faultType>0</faultType><mismatchedAssignmentFailure xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/2.0/process/executable"><part name="summary"><summary>Mismatch Assign. cannot set a nonmessage value to a message-based variable. An attempt to assign a nonmessage value to a message-based variable failed. Verify the BPEL source for invalid assign activities.< /summary></part></mismatchedAssignmentFailure></bpelFault>

  • Polling messages based on priority in BPEL using JMS adapter

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to poll the messages based on the priority in BPEL using JMS adapter?
    I could set the priority for the messages but while polling it is picking the messages in FIFO(First in First out) order. But I want the messages to be picked on priority.Any help is appreciated.

    Do you only want to pick up messeges with a certain priority? So anything larger than say priority 2?
    You can try this: Oracle JCA Adapter for JMS - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0)
    Message SelectorThis field is also optional. It filters messages based on header and property information. The message selector rule is a Boolean expression. If the expression is true, then the message is consumed. If the expression is false, then the message is rejected.For example, you can enter logic, such as:
    JMSPriority > 3. Based on this, messages with a priority greater than 3 are consumed; all other messages are rejected.
    JMSType = 'car' AND color = 'blue' AND weight > 2500
    Country in ('UK', 'US', 'France')

  • Read Object Message using JMS Adapter

    Hi,
    My JMS queue receives an object message.I want to read that object message using JMS adapter.Currently the JMS Adapter payload type is given options to read only 'TextMessage','BytesMessage','MapMessage'.How to read ObjectMesage using this adapter?Please help me on this?

    Hi,
    As far as i know, JMS Object Messages is not supported by XI JMS adapter.
    you need to have the JMS provider to transform the message to bytes messages.

  • Scheduling of message using HTTP Adapter.

    Hi All,
    The scenario is SAP ECC to SAP PI to SAP MII, and we are using HTTP adapter on the receiver side.
    The requirement is that, the messages should be sent to MII in the order in which ECC sends it to PI.
    Can anyone please help me on how this can be achieved.
    Thanks and Regards,
    NehaSingh

    Hi Neha,
    If it is IDOC to HTTP scenario and you use EOIO also you will face a big problem.
    It will not work. I have faced the same problem.
    Suppose at a same time ECC genaretes 100 IDOC then then in intregration engine it may not reach at same sequecnce as IDOC no.
    You can go with IDOC packageing in this case in ECC.
    In ECC send the IDOCs as packages.
    Also in PI create one Sender IDOC channel with package size.
    then before your actual mappinng create a simple mapping program to sort the IDOC based on IDOC number. Then do the actual mapping.
    Dont forget to create an Unbounded IDOC structure as source side in Mapping,

  • Publish Apps Data into ESB using Adapter

    Hi,
    I am currently investigating how to connect 11.5.10 Apps (Oracle Apps) to Enterprise Service Bus(ESB).
    I want to use the Adapter Service of Event Notification (Async communication) in a scenario , for example:
    I want to create an event notification for changes in an Employee's Assignment (Using Apps) and publish the suitable details into the ESB, from where a suitable Application will process the published data.
    From my knowledge of Oracle AS Packaged Application Adapters , I find that the suitable adapters are based on J2CA 1.5 but are deployed as J2CA 1.0 which does not support Asynchronous Communication (Event Notification).
    And as of now , I know that it's only through Adapters one can connect an ESB to an application.Is there any other way to do the same which can help in getting the job done?
    Plz post inputs to help me in achieving this task of interconnecting Apps and ESB for Event Notification service.
    Thanks

    You can use Oracle E-Business Suite(Oracle Applications) Adapter shipped with 10.1.3.1 to publish any Integration Interaface including Business Events into ESB.
    Thanks
